    Pineapple Upside Down Pancakes
    Michelle M.

I ended up going to The Pan over the holidays for the first time. They have a really exciting and tempting variety of pancakes. I couldn't make up my mind between the raspberry pancakes or the pineapple upside down pancakes. I ended up going for the pineapple pancakes and they did not disappoint! I ordered eggs and crispy bacon to accompany my pancakes but honestly they didn't need anything with them. I really only wanted to spend my time eating the pancakes. We sat at the bar our first time there because it does get busy. I'm glad I did because I met Meagan who was bartending that day. She was fabulous! I didn't know what drink to order and she suggested this chocolate or coffee cinnamon drink. You can see it in my picture. It was mouth watering delicious!! I ended up coming back after Christmas just so I could get that drink again. The restaurant is a nice size inside, clean, and the decor adds to the feeling of comfort and it's welcoming there. It's definitely a place you could bring friends and family.

Looking for a place to have a good breakfast while you are in Lomita? Well, try this place! We got in before the rush, so yay! We got the country benedict, raspberry pancakes, and the Mediterranean omelette. Everything was so good! I totally want to go back and try so many other items!

Came here for an early mothers day brunch for the first time and was impressed by the great service, beautiful decor and delicious food and chai latte! Even got and extra pancake for Mother's Day. The chai was delicious and so was the strawberry pancakes. I asked for extra crispy bacon in my scramble and it was actually perfectly crispy.

This location is a nice size and has great menu offerings. Love their breakfast menu and the options to upgrade to specialty pancakes. We ordered the signature scramble, the kielbasa scramble, and upgraded to the specialty pancakes - lemon dream pancake and cinnamon roll pancake. Everything was absolutely delicious and tasted as great as imagined. Totally appreciated our service - the waitress was amazing and extremely attentive. She gave us open and honest feedback regarding her thoughts on menu options she has. I look forward to returning and love that it's a local breakfast spot.

Such a cute brunch spot! There was a DJ on Sunday while the football games were going on. Considerate that the music was not super loud so people could still have their normal conversations. There were endless options on the menu. The service was fast, but our waters were not checked to be refilled. When I actually could use some more water, we were leaving. I got the Short Rib Benedict, which was recommended by our server between the two choices I was trying to decide from. It did not disappoint! I loved how it was not super heavy and loved that it was on top of corn cakes. The poblano sauce was delicious! I tried a bite of my friends shrimp n' grits & it was also good. Definitely a hearty meal. The steak 'n' eggs were also good. Although the steak was overcooked from how it was ordered. My friends also loved the Charlie Brown Pancakes & the breakfast burger.

The Pan - Lomita: A Southern Charmer Serving Elevated Comfort Food! Stepping into The Pan, you're immediately greeted with that quintessential Southern charm decor--it's cozy, comfortable, and the service? Top notch! This spot perfectly executes American comfort food with some serious flair and hearty twists. Forget basic hash browns; we're talking dishes elevated with unique ingredients and careful prep. We dove straight into two of their most talked-about signature dishes, and let me tell you, every bite was a revelation. What We Devoured: Shrimp 'N' Grits: A total favorite among regulars, and now, us! The Cajun-seasoned shrimp and andouille sausage are perfectly portioned over creamy, cheesy savory grits. The flavors are bold, balanced, and instantly satisfying. The Pan French Toast (Combo): Not your average breakfast staple. They use thick-cut, batter-dipped brioche that's served with a side of heavenly vanilla butter and powdered sugar. We opted for the combo, paired with two perfectly cooked eggs and crispy bacon strips. Fluffy, flavorful, and filling--loved every single bite! The Vibe & Sips: Sips: We indulged in a couple of mimosas--one classic orange juice flavor and a strawberry one--both were refreshing. The coffee was nice, too! Atmosphere: Casual and relaxed, it totally fits the style of food they serve. The pricing is super reasonable for the quality and portion sizes you get. Whether you're hitting up the Lomita location for their dinner options or brunching it up, this place is a must-visit for anyone craving delicious, well-crafted comfort food. Highly recommend!

My husband and I stopped by The Pan around noon on a weekday and were seated immediately. We ordered a breakfast burrito, Cubano, and a mocha frappe. We thought the food was very filling--I have no idea how "authentic" my Cubano was, but I nevertheless thought my sandwich was tasty (some of the pork was a bit dry). Prices were reasonable for the generous portions.

    The "Original" Loaded Hash Browns

Such a deep menu! I had original tots and added pineapple pancakes, but subbed the syrup for coconut syrup. So good. The pancakes come with some delightful melted butter with the syrup, giving it a nice salty and sweet combo. Service was super friendly and fast. It's a chill place you could hang with your group and chat. There's a parking lot in back.

Love the Pan . Ordered food to go, so I didn't see it til I got home. Paid $4.00 extra for the avocado for my husband. I'm allergic, so I don't eat it. I don't think it's supposed to be black inside though??? Looks gross to me, not even appealing. Why would they even use it? Since it was 'to go'?? The breakfast burrito was good from what I can tell.

The loaded hash browns are the best thing to share for the table! I loved my stuffed French toast too, especially because it wasn't overly sweet. Service was attentive and friendly. She did great even though she's newly hired. Inside was clean and we were sat right away. Always a great place to eat with friends.

My family and I had a big group--party of 10. On a Sunday, I would think it'd take a long time to wait for a table, but it wasn't too bad. Waited for less than 30min despite the number of parties ahead of us. Seems like they're organized and are good with time management. Staff and friendly and made sure we were updated on the wait time. We appreciated the quick service and attentiveness. The food we had was flavorful and plentiful!!! Worth the price of each dish. We had the shrimp n grits, short rib Benedict, Ultimate crepe, Charlie Brown chocolate pancakes, steak n eggs. Chorizo omelette, guava pancake and pineapple upside down pancake too, etc. There was a DJ who took requests via IG, which was cool. I liked the music while grubbin'. We will definitely go back there!

This place is so well decorated. Loved the vibe and the friendly service. They make you feel at home. Parking is limited but you can park accross the street in the other shopping center. Food was delish. There was a little mistake on the bill but they immediately addressed that to me and was resolved right away. Joann is a pleasant and professional server!

I really thought The Pan was going to be a diner but it sure wasn't. I remember when the space used to be a Thai restaurant but seriously it's huge. My friend and I came yesterday for lunch. Parking is plentiful in the back and we were immediately greeted and seated when we entered. Our server came over pretty quickly which is awesome because my friend and I are people who peruse the menu before arriving and already know what we will order. I got the shrimp n'grits and my friend ordered the steak and eggs. We both got the eggs over easy. Did I say we love that breakfast is served all day?? Both dishes were huge portions and delicious. Of note there is no white bread available with lunch. I didn't think I could finish the entire plate but I did and I was still full at dinner time Our server was very efficient and came by to see if we needed anything before she was going to be busy with a large group Great experience! Great food and we can't wait to try the other dishes on this extensive menu

Will you open for dinner any time soon?

Hello Jesse, as of right now we aren't. Is really hard to find staff. Our location on 1425 w Artesia blvd, Gardena is the only location providing dinner at the moment.

We will be a party of 10. So do I WL is for the largest party you being a party of 6 and then in the comment section "Party of 9 plus a highchair?

Yes. The space is pretty big so I don't see them not being able to accommodate a party of 9 plus highchair. My suggestion is to call the restaurant first and ask.

    What are the vegan options?

Not sure but their menu is online. Also, you might want to direct your question to the owner, she is kind enough to respond.

    Are they open on thanksgiving?

No we will be closing for thanksgiving day and resuming regular hours on Friday. Thank you and sorry for the inconvenience.

Do you have a phone number to call and asked a couple questions regarding having brunch for 14 people?

    (424) 328-0080 Good luck getting this location to answer the phone tho

Plenty of parking on a Sunday morning. We were warmly welcomed in by the staff and given our choice to sit anywhere. They were moderately busy with customers dining in and outside. Whenever having breakfast somewhere new to me, I like to try a basic breakfast of scrambled eggs, bacon, potatoes, and a starch. Since they offer homemade biscuts, decided to give that a try. Hubby chose the green chilaquiles plate and OJ. He said it was about 3.5 stars. My plate looked and tasted good however I was surprised that the 2 eggs appeared to be 1 egg. The server was OK with getting another egg. Overall, my plate was about 3.5 stars. The service is kind and welcoming. Their soundtrack is upbeat and ecclectic. They do offer lunch specials Monday through Friday from 12PM to 3PM which is their closing time. Breakfast/brunch is so competitive in the South Bay. The bar area gives this chill and intimate vibe especially with the many wine bottles being displayed. And the bartender is right there to service you with no problems. Everyone was welcoming and friendly. Even the two older women who didn't decide to speak until Barbara the bartender sat a bit late of fried calamari in front of me lol. That indeed sparked great conversation amongst the 3 of us. Talking about calamari and sone other restaurants. I'm used to drinking my Moscow Mules out of copper cups so this grey one was different and it was smaller in size but the drink itself was definitely refreshing. Wasn't tryna rush it lol. And It's $7.20 during happy hour. The calamari for me could have been seasoned better or more. I also would've preferred it to be fried a lil bit longer. I love mines crispy or a lil bit hard and not so chewy. With that being said, Barbara said to let them know next time. However, I believe it's a popular item and I could see why, especially with the portion size. It's very generous indeed. For $10.80 I would too. Barbara made me a Mojito and it was perfect. Very refreshing. Took my time with that also lol. A price of $7.20 you can't beat that at all. Very good price I must add. I personally think and feel like the filet mignon tacos were fire. No lie. It was tender. It was flavorful. Good portion size. I liked the presentation and flavors coming from everything. They're not street tacos either lol I would definitely get those again but I think they're only available during happy hour. 2 tacos for $10.80 during happy is an awesome deal. Before I left I thanked everyone for their service and even had the opportunity to chop it up with some staff members. Everyone was real cool. Fasho fasho. Barbara even introduced me to the chef on my way out. I believe his name is Angel. Great dude !!! and we also had a great conversation. I love the location. I love the service. Seaside Bistro claims homemade hollandaise. It is TERRIBLE, and COLD! It is also too sweet. What? I make hollandaise from scratch and the ingredients are simple: egg yolks, lemon juice, butter, salt, pepper and a little cayenne. I doubt that it was made scratch "in house", maybe they had a starter that they stirred together so they can say "homemade." Any way it was horrible, too thin, too sweet, not enough acid and not warm. The English muffin, ham, eggs and potatoes were good though. We were the only people in the restaurant at 9:30am and the service was lacking. Our server was on her phone and never came to check on us. We had to yell for her attention.
