1st time this morning, Brioche French toast was 3 stars, looked good, but bread was actually kinda hard instead of pillowy soft, not terrible, but not good either because of hardness. Scrambled eggs 5 stars, no complaints, Bacon 4 stars, I've had better, not bad. They have a green salsa if you ask for it, Service 4 stars was good enough Ambiance 4.5 stars, had a good vibe, big open place, parking is behind the front with ample spaces. Overall 4 stars, will go back and try something else. read more

Some of the worst customer service ever from everyone working inside the restaurant. The woman in the front who seats people is miles ahead in customer service than anyone inside. She was amazing. All 3 tables around us got their food before us. All 3 tables had to send back their food because it was either wrong or incorrect. Place looks well staffed but everyone seems miserable aside from the woman outside. Our food was also wrong. Out of 4 dishes 2 of them were wrong. If you order anything sweet, food or drink, expect heavy amounts of syrup. Not homemade syrups. Maybe hersheys or maybe wal mart brand. Not sure. Very synthetic. Hey at least the food looks great. The ambiance is great. The service is bad. The wait time is even worse. Waiting for a table is understandable. Waiting an hour for your food after being seated is not. Does not help when the server is rolling her eyes the whole time, and with an angry face the entire time. She was like that when we walked in so i know it wasnt us. I recently visited The Pan and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience. The host, Delcey, was extremely rude and lacked basic customer service manners. From the moment we arrived, her attitude was unwelcoming and dismissive, which set a negative tone for the entire visit. Good hospitality starts at the front door, and this was far from it. I hope management addresses this, because no customer should feel uncomfortable or disrespected just for walking in. read more

I ended up going to The Pan over the holidays for the first time. They have a really exciting and tempting variety of pancakes. I couldn't make up my mind between the raspberry pancakes or the pineapple upside down pancakes. I ended up going for the pineapple pancakes and they did not disappoint! I ordered eggs and crispy bacon to accompany my pancakes but honestly they didn't need anything with them. I really only wanted to spend my time eating the pancakes. We sat at the bar our first time there because it does get busy. I'm glad I did because I met Meagan who was bartending that day. She was fabulous! I didn't know what drink to order and she suggested this chocolate or coffee cinnamon drink. You can see it in my picture. It was mouth watering delicious!! I ended up coming back after Christmas just so I could get that drink again. The restaurant is a nice size inside, clean, and the decor adds to the feeling of comfort and it's welcoming there. We ordered the signature scramble, the kielbasa scramble, and upgraded to the specialty pancakes - lemon dream pancake and cinnamon roll pancake. Such a cute brunch spot! There was a DJ on Sunday while the football games were going on. Considerate that the music was not super loud so people could still have their normal conversations. There were endless options on the menu. The service was fast, but our waters were not checked to be refilled. When I actually could use some more water, we were leaving. I got the Short Rib Benedict, which was recommended by our server between the two choices I was trying to decide from. It did not disappoint! Such a deep menu! I had original tots and added pineapple pancakes, but subbed the syrup for coconut syrup. So good. My family and I had a big group--party of 10. On a Sunday, I would think it'd take a long time to wait for a table, but it wasn't too bad. Waited for less than 30min despite the number of parties ahead of us. Seems like they're organized and are good with time management. Tried out The Pan for a Sunday brunch and was greeted by a very bubbly host. She let us know that there was a bit of a wait and would shoot us a text once a table freed up. She jokingly gave us the option to bear the heat of the sun with her or to stay in our cars during the wait. We opted for the AC and the wait was no longer than 15 minutes that day. My +1 and I opted for the lumberjack breakfast which was more than enough food for each of us. This included 2 sausage links, 2 bacon stripes, 2 eggs, half a plate of potatoes and 2 pancakes. I took practically half of my order because is was too much for me. Food was good and the pancakes were the highlight of the meal. They were super dense. The restaurant itself was charming as well. They have high loft ceilings and decored to look kind of like you are outside (one full wall looking like the outside of the building.) Another wall was super cute with dog names and decor. I really thought The Pan was going to be a diner but it sure wasn't. I remember when the space used to be a Thai restaurant but seriously it's huge. My friend and I came yesterday for lunch. Parking is plentiful in the back and we were immediately greeted and seated when we entered. Our server came over pretty quickly which is awesome because my friend and I are people who peruse the menu before arriving and already know what we will order. I got the shrimp n'grits and my friend ordered the steak and eggs. We both got the eggs over easy. Did I say we love that breakfast is served all day?? Both dishes were huge portions and delicious. This is a solid place to go for breakfast and lunch! We always come here whenever we have a craving for brunch. You cannot go wrong with any of their items. I got their pastrami sandwich and would order it again. It was massive and holding it with my hands was difficult. It wasn't too salty, the added egg made the entire sandwich delicious. I just wish it came with a side of fries so I took some from my friend's plate instead lol. Both of them liked their choices as well. The service was fast and everyone is always so polite. Wonderful place. We were immediately greeted by a nice young woman. Then shown to our table. The menu had lots of tasty offerings. We ordered and the food took maybe 10 minutes. Fast! Large portions too. The server was very nice. She also shared a love for the Chicken Posole soup. It came with tortilla chips to immerse in your soup. The House Salad was very good with croutons, tomatoes, lettuce, red onions, cucumbers, and a House dressing. First of all, their house coffee is a disappointment. Right of the bat i knew food ia not gonna be great after having the coffee. And we were right. The only thing thats edible on our table was the chicken. Their waffles are hard and dry. The pancakes are soaked in syrup. They put 2 bacons and one egg and mixed potatoes on that southern plate. Its horrible. We paid $65 usd for the breakfast. We still left a tip for the servwr who's been very nice and helpful. But overall, totally not recommended. Very disappointed. read more

I know there is now 2 "The Pans" in the area, and the other one is frankly closer to me, but I thought we'd go to the OG one in the area. There are plenty of tables, and the wait staff is great. The wait staff was attentive and ensured the coffee remained full. There is a parking lot in the rear and there were 2 open stalls so it wasn't a problem, but the parking lot seems a bit small if the place was really busy- though you can park on the side street as well. I got the loaded hashbrowns, which was pretty big and I ate only half - to save the other for later. The lemon pancakes were also a large portion and tasted great. We don't go get breakfast too often, but this "The Pam" remains on the list. read more

Out of all the different locations of The Pan chain I really admire this location the best. Their food is spot on and I just love the home style set up. The service was awesome. We went for the 1 hr bottomless mimosas and the waitress had a very generous pour. The food is the star of the show, I absolutely love their shrimp and grits. The dish is very savory, not too heavy and the shrimp has so much flavor. I like to pair the shrimp and grits or the loaded hash brown with pancakes on the side and try the different flavors. This was my husband's first time here, and my first time trying the unlimited mimosas for an hour--and let me tell you, I was not ready! We originally went to the Artesia/Gardena location, and while the host was super sweet, the space was just too small for us. So, we headed to the Lomita location, and OMG--night and day difference. When I arrived in LA to visit my fam, my brother (a fellow foodie) raved so much about the Pan that it sounded almost too good to be true. We ventured out to the Lomita location a few days later and it more than exceeded expectations! I had the meatloaf burger which was slightly overseasoned/salted, but the sweet potato fries were delish. The problem with this place opening in a well established little town like Lomita where the locals have grown up with a local restaurant nearby that is 5 stars. So in order to make it a business must be excellent is every way. The service is less than half of what it takes to make the place exciting enough for them to change the place they would normally go to. The waitress' were spending too much time talking in their kitchen rather than doing their job. At least that's how I feel about this location. We go to The Pan about twice a month. The food is solid and the prices are reasonable. We tend to get happy hour deals. The pizza is half price and they also have bottomless mimosas at a great deal. All of their breakfasts are really good with generous portions. The place is comfortable and gets pretty busy on the weekends so we usually go during the week. The servers are very friendly and do a good job helping each other. We especially like Karly, who always makes us feel welcomed. The bus boy is great as well and stops to talk and lend a hand when it gets busy. read more
