I was craving pizza and wanted to try a new spot. I found Pizza Kraft in Lomita. I ordered an order ahead of time online. When it said it was ready, I pulled in and parked. There is a small parking lot in the back. I went in and walked up to the counter. I waited for about 10 minutes until I was finally acknowledged. During my visit, two guys were working and I know they saw me standing there. After 10 mins, one of them finally spoke and said we will be right with you. After another 5 mins, he asked what can I get you. I told him I placed an online order and it said it was ready. He asked for my name and said the pizza is just about to come out. However, as I was watching them, my pizza was ready and was in the hot oven already in the box, they just forgot to make my macaroni cheese balls. So I watched them quickly throw them in the fryer. Finally, my order was ready. When I went home, the pizza seemed like it was sitting in the hot oven for awhile and just didn't taste the freshest. The macaroni balls we're disgusting! They were not cooked all the way and we're just terrible. They were unbeatable and I just threw them all away. I won't be coming back. I can cross this spot off my list.

(Dined 10/16/21 SA @ 12:30pm): They "krafted" more than pizzas in this corner of a brewery! I spent an afternoon at Project Barley as I tried their beers and kicked back when I saw Pizza Kraft nearly hidden in a small nook at the back of the brewery. I initially asked the beertender at the brewery if there were any nearby food options when he pointed out this pizza joint tucked away in the corner. I wanted something quick and easy without having to drive while I did my prolonged tasting, and this perfectly fit the bill. How were their crafted food goodies!? PURCHASE Meatball Sandwich ($10.99): This packed two-handed submarine of meaty seasoned meatballs and just enough cheese and marinara sauce was a hefty hungry-man meal that easily soaked up the alcohol that was flowing through my body. Be prepared for your stomach to bulge out after you gorged yourself with this hoagie https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=RvhLtFrOoeikq4udX0qcdQ&userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw! Buffalo Cauliflower ($9.99): I've been on a buffalo cauliflower kick for several years now and usually ordered them whenever they were on the menu. The tricks were how hot and spicy they were, and the mushy/soggy factor. Sadly, it didn't pass either of these. There was barely a hint of heat, there was no crisp or crunch when you bit into them, and the exterior batter would come off onto your fingers. An unfortunate mess to eat https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=zG-UrIx---3uPyxIANi8vA&userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw. Mac & Cheese Bites 12pc ($9.99): Upon initial sight, these triangle treats looked like chicken nuggets. But once I bit into one, steaming tiny elbow pasta and vibrant orange American cheese oozed out to where I nearly burned my tongue. Definitely a fun way to eat one of my favorite dishes regardless of age https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=qhW9OUW8cGGbIX8l7nGJRA&userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw! SERVICE Greeted by a friendly chap behind the counter, he patiently waited for me as I scanned the menu. Once I was ready, the order was placed, paid for, and in about 15 minutes I returned (no table number, texting, or phone call system in place) to my food just finished being prepped and ready for me to take - easy-peasy. PARKING (FREE) I found a spot in their shared medium-sized lot within a small strip mall. Otherwise, there were plenty of spots along the main drag of Pacific Coast Highway and all surrounding streets - 'nuff said. ATMOSPHERE, DÉCOR, AMBIENCE A no-frills small nook that was basically an exposed kitchen and a waiting area with nowhere to sit divided by an order counter and a protective Plexiglass because of the COVID-19 pandemic. Plenty of natural lighting came through the large windows and doorway while various electric ceiling lights filled in the rest. There were no TVs while music played in the background. ATTIRE Totally casual, so I would normally be in a t-shirt, boardshorts, and flip-flops. OVERALL Pizza Kraft served their purpose for something affordable, convenient, and the type of food that paired well with beer, and if I returned for another drinking adventure at Project Barley I most certainly would order a pizza (I'd eaten so much pizza prior to this visit I just couldn't!). With the exception of the buffalo cauliflower, I enjoyed my food, the portion sizes were nice, the prices comparable, the menu rather limited, and the service adequate enough. I found very good value based on the prices, service, and experience noted above (TOTAL paid experience was around $33.00 BEFORE any discounts and/or tip). And, they accepted my credit card of choice... AMEX! 4.0 STARS

The service was great, but I did not like the pizza slice that I received here. I'm actually glad it was free from the OTM app because I ended up tossing it out. The slices are pre made and parbaked and then the toppings are added afterwards. I picked basil, pepperoni and tomatoes- all of which slid right off the pizza when I picked it up and tried to bite it. My crust was kinda burnt and overall the pizza ended up super greasy and lacked any real wow factor. Kraft pizza is connected to a brewery so I don't know, possibly it's one of those places that you have to be loaded to enjoy the food?

Only in the last decade or so, I started hearing about the great sandwiches at Tucker's yet I only went in for Lotto tickets thinking that if I won sometime, it'd make for a good story. "Back to his roots, David K. wins Powerball..." Well, I am in charge of a lotto group of 14 families and we WON in December 13th's drawing! 4 numbers, not including the Powerball. A whopping $447 and they put it on the wall and everything! And we decided as a group to roll that into last night's drawing in addition to our usual buy in...and we won $56 dabnabit! But I was feeling pretty good about winning the 4 numbers so I decided to order up some sammies for the family. The boy and I decided to go splitsies and share the Turkey Avocado on Squaw Bread and the Pastrami Hoagie. The wife ordered the BLT. The staff are nice, friendly and efficient. It didn't take long at all to whip up 3 yummy sandwiches. The wife enjoyed her BLT and I had my half of the Turkey Avocado yesterday and it was great. The squaw bread was particularly fantastic. I had my half of the Pastrami today and heated it up in the toaster oven. I really enjoyed it and would definitely get sandwiches here again. It looks like all the meats are high quality Boar's Head products. And I enjoyed the bread the Pastrami was on as well. Prices are inline with other sandwich places. The market itself is jam packed with all sorts of snacks/drinks and goodies. They even sell ping pong balls and dice. I look forward to trying more on the menu next time!

The cafe also sells coffee, gelato (six different flavors), salads, affogato, and croissants (plain, cream, nutella, and apricot). I had a cup of house brewed coffee and the drink wasn't quite on the same level as other third-wave coffee shops in the South Bay. They sell coffee beans from Danesi Caffe. *** Breakfast panini (Scrambled egg, fontina cheese, tomato a avocado - $10.95): A healthy-tasting sandwich, but it probably needed more sauce to add flavor. Bread was good. Rustico (RUSTICO: 24-month aged prosciutto di Parma smoked scamorza cheese, arugula, & white truffle extra virgin olive oil - $11.95): A solid sandwich, but it definitely lacked the "it" factor. *** A solid local cafe for anyone looking for a healthy Italian panini.
