Its ok. Compared to Bonellos a couple of miles up Anza its probably slightly less than ok. Crust on the pizza I received was fairly thick and heavy, sauce did not add flavor, cheese was ok (that word again) but certainly not uplifting. Everyone has their own idea of a great pizza, mine is New York style...which Jacks is most certainly not. Positives: Friendly quick service, the pizza is edible. read more

Today was my first time eating here. I ordered two hot sandwiches, the meatball and the toasted turkey. Both were DELISH!! The bread was warm and so fresh! Crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside. The meatballs, marinara and cheese made for the perfect sandwich! My coworker loved the turkey and we are both looking forward to trying the pizza next time. Oh..and the staff couldn't be friendlier. I LOVE supporting local businesses like this one. Fresh salad ingredients. The pizza here is crispy on the outside but doughy inside. It's too oily so I can only do one slice at most. The sauce they use is great. Best avocado ranch I've had. I wouldn't come back for the slices but the sandwiches look tasty. read more

A truly amazing Pizza with awesome people making them!!! I found Jack's Pizza yesterday just by chance the family was craving pizza and Jack's popped up on my search. I walked in and I was greeted like I was a regular I loved it so I jumped right in on a conversation on favorite nuts and I got to tell my knowledge about the macadamia nut and that was just one thing lol. Ok back to my amazing new go to for great pizza!!! I travel a lot I worked on the now retired Space shuttle program and Pizza has always been a must have for me and I know pizza!! Jack's Pizza was absolutely delicious the quality of the crust and the toppings were amazing I got a meat lovers because of their recommendation. And it was a 10/10 a true 5 star pizza!!! Knowing now that Jack's has been around since 1984 the reason is in the pride of its beginnings of making great pizza!! Thank guys for being awesome!!! read more

This past Saturday me and my client that I care for stopped by to have some pizza at Jack's as soon as we walked in we were greeted the staff was very nice. I had looked at the menu online and the Jack special definitely stood out so we ordered that. We sat and dined in the place is very clean and very roomy. The pizza didn't take long we got our pizza and let me tell you u can taste the freshness in the toppings and the sauce. The crust was really good too it was like an airy dough which is perfect so we will definitely come back and recommend this place. 10/10 read more

The garlic bread was a little underwhelming but still tasted delicious but their pizza is where they shine. The cheese and sauce tasted fresh and organic but the crust was the best by far. First time at this establishment, walked in and was greeted by a young man and a gentleman who I presumed to be the owner. Both very nice. I walked in here on a premonition and had a lot of questions, they both answered my questions to the best of their ability and with a smile. It was 5pm and I could tell they had a long day, their customer service never wavered. I ordered two sandwiches, a meatball and a submarine. Both were perfectly garnished, well dressed and had a generous amount of meat. 10/10. For giggles, I ordered a slice of pizza, because why not. Delicious homemade pizza. This review is long over due - even from my recent review from last month. (And disclaimer it will be long too) We got this meal after trying their pizza by the slice and O M G this place officially took me away from all the other local commercialized pizza spots. The food was amazing, so flavorful that we actually didn't have any leftovers between my little family like we normally do. I thought there wasn't enough sauce on the spaghetti but it was perfectly portioned and we used the extra Mariana sauce to dip the garlic bread and it was like eating another pizza. Idk if they make their meatball and Mariana sauce by scratch in house, but it honestly tastes like it- like homemade mouth watering goodness. The service is always friendly and it's one of the main reasons I made it a point to leave my second review today. I had a short lunch today and called in to see if there was pepperoni slice available and ready, the person who answered the phone was polite and let me know there was only one left. He was so courteous to hold it for me as I told him I'm only 3 minutes away. When I arrived, there was 2-3 people ahead of me but it didn't take long and the pizza was still warm! I literally finished the slice before I even parked my car back at home. IDK how the crust could taste even better. It was crunchy at the first bite, but still had so much fluffy softness in the middle. You can see all the herbs in the sauce bread and cheese and every bite was still so flavorful. Next time I come for lunch I'm going to get two slices 'cause once you have one you really do want another one even if you're satiated My husband usually goes inside to pick up the order, but this time I went inside. The aesthetic of the place really makes it feel welcoming and like home. It's small, but still good. I saw that they sell merch for their business- it's hanging on the wall- and there's a sign that says 5% off your order if you come in wearing the shirt. Their menu is handwritten with chalk and it gave me a sense of old school goodness which stood apart from the electronic, TV like, signs we now have in most places. They have a cool LED pizza sign that I wish I took a picture of. And I found out they have a meatball sub too! Overall, this place found a new loyal customer. Even though there are better pizza places this place is stand up and the prices are very reasonable so I know I'd come back. I was very visit in the electric bike store that's in the same shopping center in my front and I wanted some fast lunch. What a true south bay gem!!! We had Jack's deliver pizza and subs for my daughter's birthday party. From the first call they were friendly, polite and sooooo helpful on how much food to order for our party of 35 adults and 35 kids! For years, a friend has suggested I try Jack's pizza. I finally stopped in this noon. The meatballs & sauce are wonderful as well as the by-the-slice cheese & pepperoni pizza. Ask for extra pizza sauce (the warm sauce) so you can dip the crust (which is just right....not to thin & not to thick) in it. It's a small location but they do a lot of business. The staff is very nice & thoroughly know the menu. read more

We were looking forward to trying a very local spot that has great ratings. We ordered the veggie pizza, and made the five minute drive to pick up directly. I opened up the box at home and was happy to see lots of vegetables, until I tried to pick up a slice. Nothing was sliced through, so after cutting and picking up a slice, the pizza bent completely over and everything slid off. The crust is soggy and lukewarm, and the vegetables are cold! We had to remove it from the box to heat and crisp it in the oven. After 20 minutes, it was STILL soggy. Very disappointed. The search for a good neighborhood pizza continues! read more

This place has it all! I walk in, they say "Hi Jack", I don't need to tell them which order was mine (for pickup), and theres a very friendly atmosphere. Anyways, I got home and ate my meatball sub and it was so good I had to leave a review. Ive had the turkey sub, meatball sub, sausage sub, pizza, and ravioli. None of them have anything crazy going on but they are all delicious. Best local spot!! In addition there is plenty of parking, as well as disabled spots read more

Jack's Pizza..a definite stable for locals. My daughter loves their pizza, so she goes once awhile when she has to stay late at school. Been here a few times, and service is friendly. A small place, and kids from the area like them. I always get a sausage and bell pepper pizza, and daughter gets pineapple...sorry Not a fan of that on My pizza. Definitely needs salt and pepper but the pepper shakers barely let anything out. I asked for parm (they do not offer!) and they gave it in plastic individual containers which was honestly offensive. Dessert was a huge miss, the creme brûlée was super eggy???? The tiramisu had like a sour milk after taste. My stomach immediately hurt before even leaving the restaurant. The vibes are overall not great and neither is the food. $160 for 3 people to eat. 2 stars are for the server who made a huge effort to accommodate us.
