Another day another North Italian. It amazes me how each of the locations that I've visited (Cerritos,Manhattan Beach and Del Amo) have their own personality and vibe This was in my opinion the most chill of the three but the layout as all the others was well appointment. Love that euro feel with the large bar area and variety of seating from tables to booths.

I look forward to DineLA, which is a two-week promotion that occurs twice a year. I browse through the list of participating restaurants and like to try new places. North Italia has a Lunch $35, Brunch $25, and Dinner $45 Prix Fixe menu through August 28, 2026. Either deal you choose, is a real steal! Our Server was Chaz, he checked on us frequently through the evening. Generally speaking, I like Italian food. The sauce marinara sauce and cheese compliment each other so well and used in many of their dishes. This is what I was expecting in my lasagna entree. One bite and my taste buds came alive, this restaurant is a scratch kitchen. The sauces are made in-house daily and everything I tasted was outstanding. My order selections were: Small Plate menu - Truffle Garlic Bread (add-on, not part of the DineLA menu). You've gotta have bread with an Italian meal. The toasted Ciabatta bread was prepared with three kinds of cheeses and a generous drizzle of truffle oil. There was a ramekin of vodka sauce for dipping. I'm now spoiled for life, I've never had a more delicious serving of garlic bread. Appetizer - Sicilian Meatballs in a creamy polenta sauce, marinara, and grana padano cheese. Three meatballs per order, hearty, and rich in flavor. Entree - Sunday Lasagna prepared with ground braised short rib, Italian sausage, marinara sauce with provolone and ricotta cheeses. First time ever having short rib in lasagna, it's a winner! Each bite is packed with flavor. My guests enjoyed the Trottole Chicken Pesto pasta, Spicy Rigatoni Vodka with Italian sausage. The portions were generous. Dessert - Salted Caramel Budino, a custard served chilled with Chantilly cream, sliced banana, and a dash of espresso fudge, topped with toasted pecan toffee nuts. This sweet and crunchy topping was outstanding. Banana Caramel Butter Cake with Vanilla Gelato dessert, nice touch to have Gelato instead of ice cream. I took a bite and it was heavenly (add-on, not part of the DineLA menu). Notes: - Children's menu - Family bake at home meals - Indoor and Patio seating - Make reservations to minimize your wait time - Online ordering/delivery - Parking in the mall lot, no charge Sincerely, Rosemary

On a date night with the wife decided to try this location at Del Amo Mall, good food really, good service A+ all the way, We really like the decor in the interior of the bar in this place. Lots of mixed drinks to choose from. We ordered a few different things, my only complaint was my chicken Parm was a little cold when I got it, could have used more sauce and cheese. But still tasted good. All the food we ordered was tasty. Love the mushrooms. Eggplant Parmesan was really good. Salads are really good, but i do wish they had a better beer selection But overall this place is A+ will come back here again for another meal.

Just Peachy

Came to eat here with my friends on Labor Day around 5:30pm. We were seated right away but we sat outdoors. It was humid that day but there was fans and plenty of shade so it felt cool. Our server was Zac, super friendly and always checked up on us. He recommended getting a beverage, we were all driving and he told us they have some nonalcoholic drinks and asked for his recommendations. My friend and I ordered the Just Peachy which is has white peach, raspberry, lemon, and ginger beer. So refreshing perfect amount of sweetness and had fresh raspberries! My other friend ordered the Faux Me Twice which has non-alcoholic sauvignon blanc, strawberry, pineapple, and smashed citrus. Her drink was more on the sweeter side but I like how it was in a wine glass with ice but the drink in a separate container so you can pour the drink into the glass. We shared all of the food items which was more than enough. Not pictured but we ordered the white truffle garlic bread 10/10! We ordered the pig pizza which has salami, pepperoni, spicy sopressatta, italian sausage. We got the grilled steak panzanella which had charred ciabatta, heirloom tomato, green bean, cucumber, hard boiled egg, and a roasted vinaigrette. We also got the spicy rigatoni vodka pasta which had Italian sausage, crispy pancetta, shaved garlic, basil, grana padano. Even though there was 3 of us and we were sharing everything, we were very full! Food came in a timely matter and it was hot. I really enjoyed every single dish we got but if I were to re-order something again for myself, I would order the spicy rigatoni pasta, it had the right amount of spice, I am not really a big fan of red sauce but this one was amazing! I really enjoyed the atmosphere, food, and drinks!

Cacio E Pepe Arancini

My family enjoys dining at the North Italia in El Segundo, so when we saw that a new location had opened at Del Amo Mall, we decided to try it. The interior of the restaurant is spacious and classy. They have a variety of seating options: booth (small and large), table, high top, bar, and outdoor patio. We started off with their Cacio E Pepe Arancini. An order comes with 6 pieces of crispy risotto, crushed pepper, and pecorino romano. It's served with a pesto aioli. These were yummy! I wanted something lighter for lunch, so I got the Seasonal Vegetable Salad. It had a good variety of fresh ingredients--grilled asparagus, heirloom tomato, snap pea, avocado, pecorino, garlic breadcrumbs, and a green goddess dressing. The menu had mentioned corn, but I don't think my salad had any. You can also add a protein for an additional cost. I got the chicken, which was pretty good. I tried some of the Heirloom Beet and Chicken Salad. It had avocado, cucumber, goat cheese, and fregola with a red wine vinaigrette. Such a pretty and colorful salad! There were different color beets, and the goat cheese added a nice creaminess to the salad. I also tried some of the Bolognese Pasta, which is North Italia's house speciality. It comes with a traditional meat sauce, grana padano, and wild oregano with pappardelle pasta. This pasta really retained the heat throughout the meal. The meat sauce was tasty, and the pasta had a good texture. Definitely a nice addition to Del Amo's food options!

One of the best meals ever! We ordered the heirloom beet chicken salad, and a pasta to share. They were kind enough to split the meal on to two plates! The food was amazing, the service impeccable, the restaurant interior is gorgeous! It is well maintained with a full and impressive bar. I wished I had come here sooner as my visit was amazing!

Being a fan of North Italia, I was definitely looking forward to checking them out for brunch. I've only dined at North Italia for lunch or dinner so getting breakfast here was definitely something different. My friend and I chose to get a variety of brunch dishes. Our order consisted of the Breakfast Carbonara Pasta, the Spicy Rosa Breakfast Pizza, the Cacio e Pepe Arancini and their seasonal Chicken Soup. The Chicken Soup and Cacio e Pepe Arancini came out first. The Chicken Soup was warm and soothing. It was simple, nourishing and satisfying. The Cacio e Pepe Arancini is one dish I've tried before. These were crispy on the outside and creamy and cheesy on the inside. I liked the cacio e pepe kick but I did find this starter to be a bit on the saltier side. I also remember these arancini balls being larger in the past. For the main dishes, I tried the Spicy Rosa Breakfast Pizza first. This pizza definitely had that spicy kick with the rich, spicy rosa sauce and the Italian sausage. I loved the runny egg topping. It made for a messy and delightful pizza! Last dish I tried was the Breakfast Carbonara Pasta. I am a Carbonara fan and so had high expectations for this pasta. Unfortunately, this was my least favorite of all the dishes we had for brunch. The creaminess was not there and it lacked in flavor. It was too bland for my taste. This was quite surprising as I've always enjoyed all the pastas I've gotten before at North Italia. Overall brunch here was not quite as great as my dinner outings here. It perhaps may have just been an off day but I maybe sticking to lunch and dinner dishes at North Italia in the near future.

Once again, superb service by all the staff...especially Max. Stopped by for an afternoon beverage. Decided to get something to munch on with our drinks. Chose the Black Mussels which turned out to be amazing! Rich, fresh and a little spicy. What a wonderful experience. Cheers!

Spicy Broccolini
Nhi T.

We got the following items: 1. Braised short rib lumache: the pasta wasn't anything special and I felt the braised short rib was a bit salty tasting 2. Chicken Parmesan: I didn't like the breaded part of the chicken. It seemed soggy. I typically don't eat chicken Parmesan, so not sure if this is a normal part of the dish. 3. Spicy broccolini: we had the spicy sauce on the side, so we didn't get to try the dish for what it was 4. Salted caramel budino: it was too salty for my taste. I wish it had more neutral cream flavor instead of the salted caramel Overall service was okay. The server was nice but it took some time to get her attention when we wanted to order additional items. The restaurant itself was nicely decorated.

I just happened to find this place by chance when I needed a quick bite while waiting for service at the Apple Store. I believe my bartender was Stan or Stanley, and he was absolutely fantastic. He provided some of the best suggestions and had a genuinely warm, friendly energy. I was hesitant about trying the Crudo on the menu since the ingredients didn't seem like a combination I would typically choose, but they are ingredients I enjoy. He described the flavor a bit, so I decided to order it and was truly happy with the experience. It was light, fresh, and nothing fishy about it. I'm glad to hear there's a new location in the Bay Area I can check out as well. I will definitely be visiting this place whenever I can. Clean, inviting establishment with very high ceilings.

First time at North Italia! They have happy hour from 3-6pm Monday to Thursday, but you can only order from bar seating or the high tables. Very small happy hour menu though. Ordered the following: - Calamari Fritti $17 (happy hour price) - Little Gem Caesar $17.50 - Spicy Rigatoni Vodka $27.50 Everything was good, but a little pricey for the amount you get. The salad and pasta were fairly small. I'm not sure if it's because we were at the high tables, but service was mixed. Some servers were nice and others weren't as welcoming.

Stopped by here with a large group of friends and ordered to take home as well that's how great it was. The cheesy garlic bread was the best thing ever that butter was amazing. Seating was nice service was nice.

Was taken to North Italia for my birthday recently and had a wonderful experience. We started with the zucchini chips which are cooked to perfection so thin and crispy and tasty. We ordered the braised beef ribs with pasta and vegetables and the salmon with pasta and vegetables, and a side of green beans with garlic. All of the food was cooked to perfection some of the best dishes I've ever eaten anywhere. The pricing was fair in comparison to today's market not super high. The service was excellent. We were well taken care of by the staff. Everybody was super friendly and attentive. This is a beautiful restaurant. The ambience is amazing. It's so busy. There are so many people there's so much energy. It's a great place to go when you want that special feeling for a special occasion. I will definitely be coming here more often.

I am only now coming to share an official review on Yelp due to how this establishment treated me…read moreon TikTok. Folks should be aware this place is capable of treating you with disrespect in person, then when you mention the poor treatment in a TikTok comment, they'll respond without taking accountability and dismissing your experience. They will then ultimately block you - presumably because too many people liked your comment. You guys, that's embarrassing. You need to do better. My comment was completely respectful and an honest concern for how I was treated the one time I ventured in with a friend. Deleting feedback you don't like, customer concerns, and then further blocking those people (I hadn't written anything else. I only noticed because I clicked on the notification that someone liked my comment and saw I was now blocked) makes you look shady and guilty. I'm not a bot, and I explained a very real, possibly discriminatory experience at your bar. If anyone reading would like to know the experience: It was October 21, 2024. A Monday. I should've written this review then but I didn't have anything nice to say, and didn't want to trash this place when it seemed they were struggling due to what the bartender said. I was going through a really tough time, having just canceled my wedding about a month earlier. It was my first outing after a month+ of deep depression. My friend came to rescue me and take me out. I had been meaning to try this place since moving to Long Beach. It was fairly early in the evening, probably around 8pm or so and it was pretty slow. There was music and two couples dancing. We grabbed a table and I went to the bar to get us drinks. As I stood at the bar, some guys had come up alongside me to wait as well. The bartender looked over me and promptly took their orders. I barely had any emotion left in me at the time so I didn't care, and just waited to be next. However, I waited. And waited. And waited. The bartender seemed to be intentionally ignoring me (now the only person standing at the bar). I watched him busy himself with other drinks for the tables, for the guys, and continue to ignore me. Time ticked by and I started to wonder if I was doing something wrong. My friend kept looking over at me from the table like what is taking so long? Minutes and minutes passed as I stood there awkwardly, being blatantly ignored. After a long stretch of time, the bartender quickly said something in my direction like, "If you want to order you're going to have to go to the other end of the bar." I said, "Oh ok thank you." And walked to the other end of the bar. From this point, I was ignored and talked about (full male bar staff) without being looked at. They rudely discussed in front of me how I was standing there, and how each one of them wasn't going to take my order. It had been over a half hour at this point, and I was the only one who had been standing at the bar. It was a slow Monday night. Because I was a broken hearted loser at the time, I started to tear up. Why was I being treated like this? Am I not someone they want in their bar? Is this place not queer or woman friendly?? Why is every other person getting served, while I am blatantly dismissed? After almost 40 minutes, the bartender on that end told me he wasn't going to take my order, and I'd have to go back to the other side again. I quietly walked back over to the other side, feeling so embarrassed and just wanting to leave. It was ridiculously clear I wasn't welcome here, though I had no idea why. I remained standing there for maybe another 10 minutes. The original guy finally relented and begrudgingly took my drink order. He was standoffish at first, until he realized I wasn't upset about any of it. He started to apologize, saying he was brand new, and told me some of the staffing issues they had had that night. He seemed stressed. He recognized he had served the guys before me, and I had been ignored for way too long. He apologized again, and poured us an extra shot in our drinks to make up for the poor treatment. The drinks honestly were terrible lol, but I can only complain about so much. Plus he gave us double the alcohol, so I guess I was grateful. We left immediately after and went somewhere else. I haven't been back since. I wish I could share screenshots of my TikTok comment with the owner's dismissive reply, so you could see for yourselves whether you think that deserved being blocked. She even liked one of my reels from my page? Very odd. People are going to share the truth about their experiences at your establishment, and for you to deny that and block them is wild. You could've responded in a very different way, but you chose to be defensive and shady. That's on you.

I come to Del Amo pretty often, whether it's to go to the bookstore, shop at some of my favorite…read morestores, or just eat at one of the restaurants around the mall. I had seen the Bazille sign above the Nordstrom entrance so many times, but for the longest time I had no idea how to actually get there. For some reason, I also assumed from the name "Bazille" that it was probably some kind of salad or healthy/vegan place , so I never really bothered to figure it out. Well, I finally did about two weeks ago, and OMG -- what a pleasant surprise. You actually enter through Nordstrom and take the stairs or elevator up to the second floor. The restaurant is beautiful, elegant and intimate without feeling overly fancy. But the FOOD! Absolutely delicious. Everything we had was so good. And another pleasant surprise was the price. I eat out all the time and have tried a lot of restaurants around LA, so I have a pretty good idea of what places in this category usually charge. For the quality of the food, the atmosphere, and the overall experience, Bazille is surprisingly affordable. It's not "cheap" food by any means -- it just feels like a really good value compared to similar restaurants. The service was just as impressive. Every single person we interacted with was professional, friendly and welcoming, from the hosts to our server. And clearly the kitchen knows what they're doing because everything that came out was amazing. I can't believe I've walked past this place so many times without trying it. Now that Bazille is officially on my radar, the other restaurants I usually visit when I come to Del Amo definitely have some competition. I'll absolutely be back!

A restaurant in a department store? Yup…read more Executive summary: upscale department store has an upscale restaurant. The prices, however, are not out of line and the food quite ok. A: Food. I got the French dip sandwich and the French onion soup (see the theme). The sandwich was very good. Don't get me wrong, it's good but it's not great. There was something missing that I couldn't out my finger on. Overall tho, it felt like quality food at reasonable prices. B: service: as you'd expect from nordstroms, service was exceptional. Friendly, attentive but not over attentive. I drink a lot of ice tea and my glass was never less than a 1/4 tank. C: ambiance. Ok, full confession, my wife brought me to the mall and nordstroms. For me, It's a bit weird to eat in the ladies active wear section but, looking at the demographics, I TOTALLY see why it's in that section. Picture lots of older ladies (predominantly 50+ white and Korean ladies) meeting up for a glass of Chardonnay and sharing ....HUGE PLATES OF FRENCH FRIES. I didn't know that's a thing. I find it fascinating. If you're in the mall, give it a go. It's quite the experience and position yourself to people watch.
