There are enough, but the tables are a little crowded inside, in terms of spacial location. There's a soda fountain machine located in the back. I found a table. My food and bottled water didn't take too long. My Mediterranean bowl was fresh and absolutely delicious. I was pleasantly surprised at how good it was. All fresh ingredients. The kale wasn't dry. She did not make me feel like an ogre who pillaged a village of its straw and pitchforks to give utensils and comfortable seating for his ogre friends when he forgot to purchase these items on the way to the pit where the party was being held. When I asked for a napkin to clean it up, she told me to go to the bar counter and get one myself. I was so confused by her attitude that I actually asked her, "Did I do something to you?" She responded that they were very busy and she was backed up, but she said it in a frustrated and raised tone as if I was somehow responsible for how busy the restaurant was. What bothered me even more was watching her interact kindly with other customers. I watched another woman come up multiple times asking for different things, and Layla had no problem helping her each time. As an African American woman, it was uncomfortable seeing such a noticeable difference in how I was being treated compared with other customers. I cannot say what her reason was, but it left me feeling singled out and wondering why I was receiving such different treatment. Eventually, I went to another employee and explained that I wanted additional sauce and was willing to pay for it. She was kind, took my payment, put the sauces in a bag, and treated me respectfully even though she was working under the same busy conditions. Being busy is understandable. Look at the pictures. It's basically just a thin layer of rice with some beef on top, no vegetables at all, and it was over $10. That's where it loses me. The food itself is good, but for that price and that portion, it just doesn't make sense. This feels like something that should be around $6. So yeah... good flavor, but the portion for the price is way off.
