Our favorite place for an authentic Calzone! We always get the Italian Calzone (Pepperoni & Italian Sausage). It's large enough to share (and beyond!). Ordered a small salad and two Cannoli. All to go. Traveled very well! Service is always excellent and the food comes out quickly! The Calzone was perfect, as usual! First time getting their Cannoli. They have a lot of dessert options in the case next to where you order that are always calling out to me. Since it was a to go order, I decided to get dessert! Cannoli filling was very good! Came back for 2nd time, everything was good like the first time, except: Wife ordered the baked Ravioli which was 5 stars, I ordered the fettuccine Alfredo, which was good but not great, 4 stars I added sausage to the fettuccine, did not like the sausages at all, but I survived. Garlic Bread is 4.5 stars very good Salad that comes with meal was 5 stars I got a Caesar, excellent, except for way too many croutons, but excellent! Our server was great! Sports on TV all around. Fast quick service. They'll deliver about 5-10 minutes out of bounds if you call over the phone. Very heavy filling food. Sports bar noise, always packed. They stay busy. Parking limited. Delicious deserts. Great for big crowds or soccer teams ect. read more

I have been a customer for 10 + years. I occasionally go in and other times I order out. I ordered our usual Pizza last week. Not only was the pizza missing more than three ingredients , initially thinking only one ingredient was missing, the dough was gooey and not fully cooked. Ordered the Rib Special for delivery on 9/3/25. Ambiance from previous in person dining/pick up was very good. I always order my Rib Special (Dry Rub- I note in their instructions section) and if available that they're Fatty. On one instance the Ribs were a bit Fatty but this delivery order was a disappointment in that they were "sauced"- in my books- a Fail! I used to come here all the time. They have good pizza, good pasta, and great calamari. I'm not as much of a pizza fan, but I do like it my son and my ex love it. He will get it when he travels across country. It's a nice little restaurant nice ambience. They also think respect their military by giving military discounts with a valid ID. Big Nicks is delicious. Their pizza is one of my favorites. Good ole classic cheese is my go-to. They have really good buffalo chicken strips and I enjoy both the ranch and blue cheese dressing they have. The antipasta salad is really good. Their meatballs are good. Their sandwiches are good. Oh No!! Big Nick's, what happened to your fried zucchini? It was hefty sticks lightly breaded in flour, now it's pre-made Sysco type sold at too many other places. Soggy, over fried, too much breading, zucchini mush. Pizza still good, wings still good but the zucchini really set you apart. read more

The breadsticks I have grown to enjoy with the ceaser salad which I did enjoy. I will say the only downside is the parking isn't very big and is always packed. It's been about a week and I'm still trying to wrap my head around my experience here. I've heard good reviews for this place so when I finally had the opportunity to try, I was excited. That quickly went out the window when my friend and I were initially asked "dining in or take out?" We wouldn't have considered dining in if that option wasn't given to us. However, right away, the pissed off girl at the register (slicked back pony tail, fake eyelashes, young girl), quickly tells us "DINING IS CLOSED FOR SEATING" like girl, c'mon.. why would you offer it then? Anyway, ordering and the entire vibe went downhill from there. My receipt says DELIA, so I'm assuming that's the pissed off girl's name. After we placed our order, she states pretty loudly that she's done with everything and that she's leaving. Sure girl, go leave. Your bad attitude sucks anyway and I think your coworkers are sick of it too. She continues to clean and wipe down surfaces. Puts our order on the counter. Doesn't say anything like, do you need anything else, enjoy, thank you. Nothing. Just walks away still pissed off. The place looked fun. Has a bunch of old school movie posters and such. They're known for their Forget About It Salad, according to my friend who works in the ER close by. The staff orders food from here quite often and that's why I was excited to try. I ordered the combo pizza which had pepperoni, sausage, mushrooms, and olives. This pizza was all the way BOMB! Especially with their house made ranch. My friend had the cheese pizza. Big Nicks has been a saving grace since we moved to the area. Great food open until 11 PM when everything else of the same quality is closed or closing. Have enjoyed many nights with great late night pizza and have had many different items such as wings, salad, sautéed mushrooms, and calzones. They're also really quick. By the time I get to the restaurant, the food is always ready to go and it smells amazing with a high concentration of garlic. Never sat inside to eat, but there's always people in there when I pick it up, and for good reason. Eggplant was undercooked (didn't eat), penne was 80% cheese to pasta ratio, cake slice was said to be cheesecake (bday person's favorite dessert) and instead it was just regular chocolate cake....overall a pretty big let-down for a birthday dinner. Don't often write reviews on Yelp. But, today, had to. Server was Juan. This young man is quite the hard worker. Not only that, he's courteous, respectful, accommodating and professional...and quick to respond to requests (utensils, etc.). The service was shitty today and apparently they don't know how to read a receipt well. I ordered two salads with grilled hot chicken and two dressings each. I paid for the extra dressings. They only delivered one each. When I called back the girl said her name was Vanessa and gave me attitude about delivering the dressings I paid for. I didn't have me car today and I paid for the delivery so they should've accommodated me no problem. It was taking a long time so I called back and the same girl told me it would be 40 minutes, which by then my chicken would be cold. We were in town for a cruise, and the hotel we stayed at Guest Harbor Inn happened to have Big Nick's sponsored room keys so I figured why not give it a try? We arrived pretty late into L.A and I was happy to see they were still open late. The service was quick and super convenient I loved that they had a QR code right on the key to order directly. So simple and easy! My husband and I split a pizza, and it was great and well-topped. The salad was phenomenal , My husband got the chicken parm; it was a little on the soggy side but still decent, just could've used a touch more seasoning. Overall, a solid local pizza joint I would probably order again when I'm back for another cruise. read more

There was a glitch in their phone system to place an order so pretty much the restaurant was empty when I got there to place an order with a less-than accommodating, rude hostess. While I had to wait quite a while for my food and in the meantime, I was watching this young hostess play with her hair, eat slices of cucumbers, chat with the coworkers as well as touching all the napkins in preparation for to go orders. Ownership needs to retrain there employees here they have the worst attitudes and lack of interest in taking care of the customers. It's like " kiss my ass, you're lucky to be able to come into my restaurant " but the thing is the workers don't own this restaurant the owner does. Service should be lickety split and fast and amazing but it's not at all. I really don't know the solution for this place but maybe they should close down the dine in experience of they can provide great service. Honestly felt like leaving a few times. After a very popular pizza place in the area failed miserably to help me with my pizza order, big nicks came to the rescue. I ordered 5 pizzas and needed it to be done quickly. The person who answered the phone was very sympathetic as this was for an event and I needed it immediately due to the other pizza place dropping the ball. I probably should have gotten the people's names at Big Nicks, but they definitely did me a solid and came through. I got the pizzas hot and fresh, and quickly. They understood the urgency.
