Had the pleasure of visiting this cute, French restaurant today. Parking was relatively easy in front of the restaurant, but if you need more parking, there's torrance crossroads right across. Right when we walked in, we were greeted by the hostess/waitress (possibly the owner?) who instantly made you feel welcomed with her energy. She seated promptly, and gave us some recommendations. We ordered the Pate en Croute, duck Burger, canard Confit, and peach Dessert. We enjoyed all the food, but felt it was a little under-seasoned (salt). The peach Dessert was a nice conclusion: coated with white chocolate, encased in a fluffy marshmallow-like texture, and filling inside, and not too sweet. They also have specific dinner events (by RSVP) on select nights! They have crepe, paella, and French dinner nights throughout the month. Overall, we enjoyed our late lunch, and would definitely come back to try their paella night!
Was blessed by a brother to try this place out :) there's a parking lot in the front and there were plenty of spots when we came. We were seated right away and the lady helping us was very friendly and helpful. She recommended the le Parisien (ham and cheese) for me and le Ratatouille for my friend as he's a vegetarian. I liked my sandwich but my friend felt his sandwich was a bit oily. The sandwiches were wrapped for that reason so don't unwrap it as it will get really greasy. He kept 1/2 sandwich to go and got the vegan salad and really loved it. We also ordered the mango and peach dessert. The mango was decent but the peach fell really short, no idea what it's suppose to taste like but it was def lacking. The pomegranate soda that was recommended was tasty. Overall: felt for the price point had higher expectation for the food/dessert and it def did not meet. But the service was amazing and love the ambient. I did for a moment felt like I was in another country. For those reasons we wouldn't giving this place another try and order other things on the menu. 3.5 stars.
I like it. The woman who took care of me is French and she did everything, except cook. She greeted me as soon as I walked through the door, she took my order, waited on my table, and delivered my food. True table service. The interior of the restaurant feels like a French cafe. The walls are covered with photos and prints of France. I hung my purse on the bag holder screwed onto the table. There are plenty of tables inside and out. I sat inside. There are many tables for the size of the restaurant. Because my visit was early on a Friday morning, there was only one other customer. I can see how the place could get crowded, and ending up sitting very close to others. I ordered a latte and the avocado toast, which comes with beets, salmon, topped with a poached egg. It was pretty good. The cold beets threw me off a little. Latte was good, served hot. Self serve water available. I noticed many people walking in and purchasing pastries. Parking: They have their own lot, and it's free.
First time here, on a Monday morning. A recommendation by my neighbor. Let me tell you I don't know if the service was better or the food. Absolutely delicious and fresh, every single bite. Service was warm and very friendly. I love it here. Definitely will be coming back. Come check it out you won't regret it!
My husband and I had the pleasure of visiting this cute French cafe for my birthday. It was bright, welcoming, and had the classic French charm. Even the servers spoke French and had an accent, which made the experience even more authentic. We both had a glass of Sauvignon blanc and rose. They were both delicious, but I liked the rose more. For food, we shared the French onion soup, Le Parisian sandwich, and the pate toast. Everything was superb. The soup was full of sweet caramelized onions and a generous topping of melted cheese. The pate was an incredibly different experience. It paired well with the arugula and pickled veggies. The absolute star of our meal was Le Parisien sandwich. The baguette tasted so fresh with a crispy outside layer. It included ham and cheese. So simple and yet so deliciously prepared. The French butter was the cherry on top. And for $13, it was very reasonably priced! For dessert, we each tried a canele, which was also delicious. We are still dreaming of this meal and can't wait for our next visit!
Delivers Du Chef is a fun French themed café. It's really a fun place to go into. You can go in there for a very tasty meal, or just to grab some bakery items or a latte on the go. In terms of layout, this restaurant has a number of tables on their interior. They also have several tables outdoors along their glass line walls. This is a full service restaurant. If you want to come in for a meal, they direct you to a table, you choose what you want from the menu, and they come and take your order. Simple as that. Or, you can get it to-go as many of their customers do. In terms of their food, it's all very well prepared and really tasty. Again, the food at this restaurant revolves around French cuisine. So, it has that nice international flavor to it. Plus, they also have a nice selection of wine and a few other alcohol based beverages. In terms of parking, they have a small parking lot in front of the business. Please note, that this parking lot can get crowded and sometimes it is kind of a mess to go in and out of. But, my secret is, whatever this is the case, I park across the street the at the Torrance Crossroads shopping plaza. You know, where the Home Depot and all those other businesses are located. Then, it's just a quick walk across the street and you don't have to deal with any of the weird parking situation. Overall, this is a great café. Fun place to eat.
I don't know why I've driven by this place forever but finally a coworker sent me their TikTok or Instagram and I was like oh it looks delicious. Let me check it out. I finally stopped by this morning, and there was a very warm French greeting of bonjour! The shop is cute in general lots of things going on everywhere from pastries to wine to coffee kind of everything that you could want to go with some good food. I have the avocado toast with beets and salmon. It was quite beautiful and it was very tasty, it went great with my latte. Highly recommend trying it out. Can't wait to go back for dinner.
Graduation celebration of a dream. The owner was amazing. While not typically open for dinner they allowed us to have a dinner celebration with them. She even created a special menu for the evening. Her patients and evident big heart was visible with each interaction with the small children we had that evening. The food was Michelin star quality the atmosphere was perfect. It felt cozy and we all felt like we had a slice of home there gathered as we were around the table. The wine selection out of this world. The head chef while shy was kind and amazing with his dishes nothing was overly seasoned; or heavy or too light. He walked the beautiful elusive fine line of delicate balance. The host was an absolute joy of indulgence his suggestions and his pairings of wine for the meal ( which I ate each one) was spot on.
This place is the cutest!! Definitely a hidden gem. I got the traditional French breakfast (baguette or crossaint choice) which also comes with fresh squeezed orange juice, a hot beverage (latte, hot chocolate, etc), & a parfait. If you get a baguette, it comes with butter and jam. I loved the vibes of this place. A great place to grab breakfast/brunch and it wasn't crowded on a Saturday morning!

Fresh bread, good balance of flavors, and it felt simple but done properly. The fries were crisp and satisfying, and the sparkling limonade was refreshing and a fun change from the usual drink options. Cute authentic French cafe in the neighborhood! Went there for a French meet up. Met the owner, the beautiful Veroniqe. Classy lady and friendly. She sat with us and chatted with our group! The wait staff are friendly. I got the egg Benedict with bacon. The egg was perfectly cooked the way it runs with yolk running down. Just the way I love it!
I came here for the first time today to meet a friend and this place is such a gem! I walked in to find one of the gentleman working going out his way to help another customer. I was greeted warmly by another associate working there who took my order and then asked me to sit after I indicated that my order was for here. I sat down and my latte arrived shortly. I was then asked if I wanted anything to eat and I chose a croissant. How could I not try a croissant at a French cafe? The croissant arrived heated perfectly and with butter and my own little jar of apricot preserve. It was delicious. I wanted five more. The cafe is very cute and French. There are comfy pillows on the back wall and it's very cozy. The coffee and pastries are great but the service will keep you coming back!

Service: servers are very friendly and welcoming! They are attentive and I think most of them are family? Vibes: very chill place, good to come for a casual meal. Seating is pretty close to other parties. Food: I have been here over four times, yet every time I come I just get the French breakfast. Last time I went, the server told me I should try something different, but the French breakfast is just that good!! It comes with either one croissant or four quarters of a baguette, fruit/yogurt/granola bowl, a hot drink of choice, and fresh orange juice. The two drink combo is what gets me with this one. I usually get the hot cocoa, and it is really rich and delicious. The OJ is super fresh and not too sweet or too sour, the bread is delicious and baked well, and the fruit with yogurt has a good balance between the acidity of the fruit and the tart yogurt. Maybe I'll try something else next time I go, but man is that French Breakfast good. It's not that the food is incredible (don't get me wrong it is still so yummy), it's just such a good combination deal that I love it. I would come here once a month if I could...

Got take out. Americano, latte, cappuccino, chocolate croissant, almond croissant, mango cake. The latte was a bit underwhelming. A bit watery/dilute? I liked the semisweet chocolate in the chocolate croissant. The almond croissant didn't have much almond flavor. The mango cake was pretty good. It looks really cute and the inside was an Interesting burst of flavors with the mousse and mango compote. Service was great. Really sweet friendly staff. Place looked pretty crowded Sunday morning but they were qi k to help me. read more
Came here on a weekend morning. Place was busy enough. The lady at the cashier was busy with orders and serving sit down customers. Got the following items 1. Danish epinards 2. Almond Croissant 3. Quiche lorraine 4. Lemon mousse cake 5. Raspberry mousse cake 6. Italian sandwich: Liked the baguette but the mozarella was flavorless. Food came out quickly. Liked how the tables had hooks for purses even though I wasn't dining in. The pastry and quiche were okay. The cakes were all pretty good and would be what I'd come back for to try other flavors. Stepping into Délices Du Chef right as they opened was an absolute dream. The space was quiet, calm, and beautifully decorated, elegant without trying too hard. And the smell? Pure heaven. Fresh pastries in the air will make you forget whatever plans you had before walking in. I ordered the Smoked Salmon Benedict with a cup of tea, and let me tell you perfection. The salmon was tender, the hollandaise was silky and balanced, and everything tasted incredibly fresh. It's the kind of dish that makes you pause mid-bite and appreciate the moment. Service was warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. You can feel the care they put into everything, from the plating to the energy of the space. I travel often, and this is exactly the kind of spot I love discovering. I'll absolutely be back anytime I'm in town. A gem worth celebrating. read more

Delightful food at a bustling and bright cafe. On a Sunday early afternoon, parking is limited, but can always try the next plazas up and buy a coffee, tea, or trinket. French onion soup was delicious, flavorful, and not too salty. Reminded me of the soup at a fancy Parisian restaurant. Loved Le Parisien sandwich: high quality ham and melted cheese on baguette. Made it a combo with side greens salad and currant/passion fruit soda (not too sweet and also a highlight of the meal). Shakshouka was decent, but I have not eaten this dish often elsewhere. My brunchmate enjoyed the omelette. Prices were typical. Love the bright, open, cafe ambience. They only opened 1 year ago, and they were very busy with a full house. Check-ins were infrequent, but friendly, and we did not feel rushed despite the business. Would like to come back and try some pastries, too. read more

Quick brunch at Délices--and somehow Torrance briefly became France. Step inside and it's all quiet confidence. No fuss, just things done right. The pastry case alone is worth the stop: glossy orange domes, blush "peaches," those almost-too-perfect chocolate blackberry creations... all very "are we eating this or framing it?" Thankfully, they deliver. Croissant: exactly as it should be--light, flaky, properly buttery. Pâté: rich, classic, with bread that actually deserves it. Parisian omelette: soft, delicate, quietly excellent. Duck confit: crispy skin, tender inside, with potatoes soaking up every last bit of that sauce. Also spotted: those golden custard tarts lined up like little suns--simple, but don't underestimate them. Only minor casualty: the raspberry dessert met the sun and immediately gave up its structure. What started pristine turned into a mousse-y puddle--but still delicious, so we moved on. Prices are surprisingly reasonable for this level of execution. Wanted to give this place 5 stars because they do so many things well. Ambiance is great and makes you feel like you're in a french cafe (not that I've been to France). I only had an issue with one of the entrées. We came on a Friday morning and were seated right away. Service was welcoming and attentive. We ordered the shakshuka, croissant egg sandwich, steak and eggs, and French toast. My favorite was probably the French toast. It was a nice, thick slice and the sweet milky sauce on top soaks in and gives you the best crisp and juicy bite each time. It also comes with hazelnut which gives it a Nutella flavor when you eat it all together. Shakshuka and croissant sandwich were both pretty solid. The steak and eggs is what threw us off. We got the steak cooked medium and I think the temperature was good. The meat was just a little tough and there was little to no seasoning. It's not even served with any kind of sauce so just a bland dish that was tough to eat. It was strange because everything else was really tasty. We wanted to try some pastries but after that French toast we couldn't handle more. Would definitely go back and recommend trying it out. Enjoy! read more

We had a lovely Father's Day dining outside with fabulous friendly service! Yum yum! They are so accommodating and gracious. Have been there once before, I ordered the Eggs Benedict with salmon and when I was about to order it again the waitress said, " you had that last time, try something new!" I was shocked she remembered so I ordered the omelette. All so delicious! Don't forget the "bubbly" and a baguette to go! read more
I love this place. The main courses are incredible. Today I had the duck confit and the octopus, and both completely blew us away. Every time I visit, I feel like I'm in Paris. The atmosphere is spot on--fun, welcoming, and warm. The food here is truly outstanding. read more

I think I've been to all the different restaurants that have been in this space the last few years. My colleague and I came today for lunch and we were fortunate to arrive before the lunch crowd. We found parking and were seated right away. First off, this place is CUTE!!! Very French! I love the decor. We were greeted right away with a "Bonjour!" I ordered the Eggs Benedict with smoked salmon and it was delicious!! My colleague ordered the French dip danish with truffle fries. You can try the truffles as the fries came to our table. You can pay at the register. You don't have to wait for the servers to come with your bill because they do get super busy. I don't know if I would try to venture here during peak breakfast/lunch/dinner hours because parking can be a nightmare. I would definitely come back and I hope Delices Du Chef sticks around Bon appétit!! read more

We can't wait to go back and try everything else on the menu! Our first time was exceptional. Given it was a super busy Sunday morning, the staff were friendly and professional! Veronique was great and welcoming. You can tell she loves what she does and loves the food they make. Everything we ordered were amazing! Our favorite had to be the pain perdu-- brioche french toast. I highly recommend it! Even both our kids enjoyed it. The rillette de canard surprised us. We didn't expect much of it but the duck rillette paired so well with everything. We loveee the whole vibe. It was just a bit hard to appreciate since it was pretty busy when we were there. It was loud especially with kids. We ended up being seated outside which worked out okay since we kept having to stand up. We took a couple desserts home! It's a must. We got the mango and choconut desserts! Reallllly good! We can't wait to try the rest too! Parking is a bit hard since it's shared parking space. Off Set coffee shop is also popular in the area. Just be patient. read more

I came here on a weekend around 2pm and there were open tables, so we sat down and ordered. The prices are really good for what you get in generous portions and quality of food. Actually if this review were for the food alone I would have given it five stars. The problem I ran into however was when we went to pay at the cash register. The way they ring it up is you only see the total for the bill on the iPad screen. I would 100% recommend asking to first see the itmemized bill bc they charged us for 2 BOTTLES of wine instead of 2 glasses, there's a huge price difference since it was $66 for 2 bottles compared to $20 for 2 glasses. Also how would 2 petite women under 5 feet tall be able to even walk after consuming 2 bottles of wine?! If this was an honest mistake then hopefully it will not happen again to anyone else. Parking is limited, you can park over the next shopping complex. We didn't need a reservation. Ambiance is so cute and cozy. Service is very friendly. We love the waitress' French accent. Food was delicious. The presentation is impecable. A little too much pepper on the steak but it's just me. All served with French bread and butter. read more

THE FRENCH TOAST! Let's put it this way. Their French toast is so good, that you only get one slice. Look at my pictures. You'll see two French toast pictures. Those are not different angles of the same toast, they are TWO DIFFERENT French toasts because I went on Friday, and then on Saturday LOL. You don't even need syrup! Oh, my, god, it's so good. My first visit to DDC (please excuse the abbreviation); the restaurant has been open since last October so they been working hard to iron out the kinks. The menu is very typical Parisian and covers just about everything I could think of except for frogs legs! They have a nice display which focuses on sweet things-- some of which were quite unique. The high point probably is that you see the team working on your order (kitchen is in full display). Their seating area is fairly limited so you need to book ahead. Menu is full of goodies of course and I'm happy to report they also serve Napoleon's favourite dish! Breakfast was served outside, which despite the limited seating was quite enjoyable. Btw we tried the omelette and eggs Benedict and honestly I thought the omelette was so tasty I wanted a second round! Lastly, parking can be a challenge but the good thing is that you can also park across the road which is in a safe walking distance. A cute little French cafe with excellent service. Veronique was so hospitable, warm and kind. She makes you feel right at home and cared for. The food was delicious, but the service was the icing on the cake with a cherry on top, making the whole experience wonderful. We whet our palates with an adorable mini cup of amuse-bouche, which tasted like shredded duck underneath a bed of delectable whipped potatoes. It was delish and left you wanting more. Our party had the warm and comforting Ratatouille, the delicious and flavorful French Onion Soup, Le Steak au Poivre, Pork Belly, Roasted Black Cod en Croûte which was light and tasty along with my dish, the Canard Confit which was so decadent and tasty. The duck was seasoned to perfection and paired so well with the sweet and sour date sauce resting in the spoon push of celeri root mousseline and topped with honey roasted dates. Beautiful plating for all the dishes. The girls ordered desserts which were decadent and divine. Veronique escorted them to the display case to pick out their choices and even added a sweet special little something to their plate. They were in awe and enjoyed every single bite! I like walking at the Farmers market on Saturdays and I happen to notice this stand. The chef was super friendly and recommended us some entrees to take home. I had the spinach lasagna and the boeuf bourguignon, they were both exceptional. I also tried one raspberry tart, which was delicious as well. We went on Sunday to the restaurant to try out the French breakfast and it was amazing. It's very flavorful and the portions are good. My fav was the croissant Benedict and I added bacon and avocado on it, I would definitely recommend. The coffee is good, but it's on the smaller size for my personal opinion. The tea is super cute and aesthetic. The staff was super nice, very friendly and attentive. They have outdoor seating where you can bring your furry friend and that's a plus for me. The parking is a bit small but I've managed to get parking right away around brunch. read more

When I walked in, I was warmly greeted by the owners. The Parisian omelette was tasty and perfectly moist-- nothing worse than overcook eggs! Tried shakshouka for the first time and was really pleased with the bold flavor. La baguette toastée is simple but sooooo good! The bread is amazing and the butter!! Best butter I've ever had. Everyone is so kind, great service, delicious food, and very clean dining area and bathroom. You definitely forget you're in Torrance! read more

Heard much hype about this cute pastry shop. Stopped in today to get a bite of a little love in Italy. Notice that the parking was a bit tight however there was open availability. Soon as I walked in, I was greeted by two sweet ladies bonjour, they say! Although the pastry shelf wasn't full. I alone became full off of the aroma of delicious food being prepared in the back. Off to the right is the kitchen into the left is the dining area I was told that many of the pastries are baked here and there by the husband, however, the ones that I was that I was seeking was not available.
