Belle Epoque is exactly what the South Bay needed! An amazing restaurant/supper club with fantastic live music, delicious food and incredible cocktails. Over the past few months I have gone here for late night drinks with live music, Sunday funday brunch and Tuesday night comedy night. The food is consistently excellent and the drinks are well crafted. Every single musical act has been terrific. The shows are usually Thursday- Saturday and it's a $10 fee if you stay for entertainment... but it's well worth it every time! The service is always great and the ambiance is gorgeous. Super excited that this place opened in redondo village and can't wait to go back here regularly!!

We went into it for a drink after having dinner next door, as we heard the karaoke fun passing by. There are only around 10pax inside but the vibe is so fun, very welcoming, owner and staff are all very friendly and nice! We were invited to sing a few songs to join the party and then more customers coming in joining together. We really had a good time in this cozy place, need not the best equipment or big crowd, but some genuine hearts are more than enough. *and no way when I saw one of the previous review saying it'll close in a few months time?

The Black Rose cocktail was an absolute blast! It was a super fun bourbon drink with a beautiful presentation. I highly recommend it if you're in the mood for something tasteful and refreshing.

My wife and I had a great time dining at Belle Epoque recently. We arrived right when they opened and got great service. All three of the cocktails we tried were good, and all in well-apportioned and interesting glasses The French onion soup was great. The steak and the linguini with clams were also winners. We did not get to see any live music this time -- but we will definitely be back!

This new gem located in Redondo Beach is amazing. The ambiance is great with incredible decor. If you're looking for date night, happy hour, Sunday Funday, and live music this is your place. I can't stress this enough PLEASE check out their bathrooms, all I can say is you won't be disappointed. Parking: Its plenty of parking across the street in the parking lot and it's also street parking available Service: The customer service is amazing everyone was friendly and all the servers always filled our glasses with water and asked if we wanted more wine. Food: Don't worry they will have food soon as this place is fairly new, The kitchen will offer meals while enjoying your time. Got a chance to meet all the owners and they were so welcoming and friendly. Please come out to support this amazing new spot in Redondo. The bartender is amazing and the drinks are yummy. If you're a local in Redondo or if you're visiting the area check out this spot. They have live music on Friday & Saturday with amazing artists. Also, brunch on Sunday Funday with a DJ and upcoming comedy shows during the week on Tuesday . Overall I highly recommend trying this place out.

Such a great experience. The live music is amazing and always different. Really enjoyed the lavash with mozzarella and the shrimp ceviche . My favorite place in Redondo Beach. Warm and friendly service. Check out their schedule and make it a night to remember.

Recently there was a comedy show at Belle Epoque that had a food tasting at the start of the night and a comedy show at the end, the food was amazing and the comedians were hilarious. Was a great night!

During my visit, I ordered two drinks for myself and a guest, along with the Yellowtail Serrano and Salmon Avocado dishes. After consuming two pieces of the salmon, a strong foul odor became immediately noticeable from the fish being served. I brought the matter to the attention of the bartender who had served us, and upon inspection, she acknowledged that the odor from the fish was evident and pungent. While I appreciated the bartender's professionalism and her effort to address the situation by comping the drinks, my interaction with the manager, Mr. Leo V., was extremely disappointing. When I requested to speak with management regarding the spoiled fish and the associated health concerns, Mr. Leo V. approached the conversation in what I perceived to be an aggressive, dismissive, and defensive manner. Rather than addressing the seriousness of serving potentially spoiled raw fish products, the interaction escalated unnecessarily due to his tone and lack of professionalism. Given the health risks associated with raw sushi products, this matter should be treated with urgency and seriousness. I am requesting: An immediate review and investigation into the restaurant's food quality control and handling procedures related to raw fish products. Appropriate corrective action and retraining regarding customer service and management response standards. A formal response addressing the concerns outlined above and the steps being taken to prevent similar incidents moving forward. This experience was both concerning and unacceptable from both a food safety and customer service standpoint. I look forward to your prompt attention and response regarding this matter.

If you are looking for a restaurant with a large menu, you will be disappointed. Sure, portions of La La Land were filmed here, and they have some movie memorabilia in the back of the place but they offer far more than jazz here, if that is your impression. There is rock, reggae, salsa, lots of tribute bands, and other stuff. While this may have once been purely a jazz club, I am certain the market simply won't carry (most) strictly jazz places for very long. Based on one photo I saw on the wall, this place has been around for about 76 years. That is impressive. For jazz aficionados, they offer a three hour Sunday jazz brunch (and this is the only time when folks under 21 can enter, by the way). For brunch, there are only four food items available on the menu: a breakfast burrito, avocado toast, one pancake (singular, not plural) and bacon, sausage, and eggs. Remember, you are here for the music, not the food. As for the food, my breakfast burrito was interesting. Knowing restaurants in California, it was probably cooked by a Latino gentleman but this looked like th emost Caucasian burrito of all time. It had chorizo, eggs, potatoes, and other stuff in it, and the tortilla had a nice cheesy skirt on it. It was also on the spicier side, which I enjoyed, but fair warning. I wasn't sure I was going to like it by its looks but I ate the whole thing. It was also a belly bomb and kept me satisfied for about 6 or 7 hours afterward. The avocado toast was actually very good and made with good quality bread. I thought the music was excellent. The members of the band (the John Kithcart Quartert) played their assess off and really seemed to enjoy themselves. True jazz (not that soft elevator music gunk) was popular at one time but let's face it, it is not popular anymore. Jazz certainly can be enjoyed as background music while you enjoy your one pancake but it is certainly not intended to be enjoyed that way. To fully appreciate it, you have to pay attention to it. That doesn't seem too much of an ask. After all, it is the folks on the stage who are doing the hard work. Our server was very good. She was friendly and attentive. My only experience here is with the Sunday jazz brunch so I cannot speak for the venue at any other times. At least for the Sunday brunch, whether you like jazz or not, this place is well worth a try.

Riding the elevator with another couple, we were asked if we'd been here before, probably because we were not Russian. They said we would be in for a treat. Boy were they right! It is an ornate lounge with chandeliers, live performers, and a dance floor. Apparently, we were told, a very popular place for any celebration by the older Russian generation. It is truly a unique experience, especially for an introvert who loves to stay home. The place was packed with mostly large groups that were ready for a fun night out. The first course/appetizer spread is extensive. Mostly cold dishes from carpaccio and roe to avocado salad and cheese. This is accompanied by soda and vodka. After about an hour, the place gets loud and lively with a mix of traditional Russian songs and classic American. People flock to the dance floor where the lights change color. It felt like a wedding or bar mitzvah reception. Honestly, was so fun to watch the dancing but way too loud to chat with anyone. When everyone needed a break, the second course came out which was home style potatoes and an assortment of grilled meats. These were delicious and more to my taste. Unfortunately, we had to leave around 1015p, but it felt like the majority of the crowd was prepared to stay much longer. We ordered a half seafood and half meat paella, with added lobster and pork belly. Unfortunately, the actual food was terrible. Main issues: * The bottom of the seafood side was completely black and burnt instead of having a crispy socarrat. There's a huge difference between crispy rice and burnt rice. * The lobster was severely overcooked, burnt, and tasted terrible. * The pork belly was an extra charge, but there was barely any visible pork belly in the dish. It honestly just looked like tiny bacon pieces. * All of the meat throughout the paella was severely overcooked. Positives: * Our waiter was very nice. * The ambiance was good. * The live music added a fun vibe. * It was my birthday, so they gave me a complimentary ice cream dessert at the end, which I appreciated. this place definitely has a fun vibe, as they really nailed the tiki aesthetic. i stopped by for a…read morefriend's birthday and had a quick drink and some food. i can't say i'm at bars often, but for one of my limited experiences, it was a pretty fun time. we were seated outside, and it ended up being comfortable. they had heaters set up, which i appreciated since it can get chilly. i ordered a mocktail that was pretty good, like a virgin piña colada but with orange instead of coconut since i'm not the biggest coconut gal. service-wise, it felt a little mixed. the server gave me a bit of a look when i ordered the mocktail to sub coconut with orange, which made me feel a little embarrassed, and it also seemed like things got a bit overwhelmed because i was initially brought an alcoholic drink and had to remind them i'd ordered non-alcoholic. i also tried the ahi poke, which was mostly delicious, but i think there may have been cilantro in it even though it wasn't listed, so i ended up not finishing it. despite the small mishaps, overall, it seems to be a fun spot to hang out with friends, especially for the atmosphere. i'd probably come back to try a couple of other things if i'm in the mood for that kind of bar scene.
