This was my first time at this bar/club . I was with my husband and we were greeted by there door security 2 black men and Asian male who I am going to call annoying and unprofessional ,rude, culturally insensitive, no respect for their elders , racist...... I could go on but I will write this review When we arrived there was a long bar metal guide for the line with no one in line . We asked if we had to walk to the end of it or just go into front line from the front stanchion One of the Security asked Mr annoying He told us to walk around to the end of the long empty line. lol we followed what was requested, now back to the front of the line.:. (Noting time at 9:58 pm) Mr annoying tells my husband "there is a dress code and his T-shirt is not acceptable!" We then went our car to put on a knitted sweater and walked back (Mr. annoying said that it was not acceptable either and it must be our culture) he then said if we came before 10 he would have let us in. Please note that earlier time was before 10..... (mr. annoying ) said it was busy night inside but he would let us in anyway but to dress nicer next time. When We did make it inside and there were maybe 20 people inside .... Hello "no one inside was dressed nicely". People were wearing T-shirts. This has really left a bad taste in our mouth for this venue. Tic-tok suggested this venue and to say it was very disappointing was an understatement. I felt so disrespected and felt like we were in the Jim Crow days just with an Asian twist. Please join me in avoiding this venue. The door man needs to understand it is not ok to disrespect people for their culture, age, or race.

Last night we pulled into this lounge for my friends 23rd bday party! She booked a table for bottle service & we danced the night away. The lounge bar was very clean and great services, our bottle girl was super sweet and always checking in on us. Aside from the bomb drinks, the music here was AMAZINGG! They play such a diverse range & project the videos it got so lit. At first I thought it would just be a cute sit down vibe but before I knew it we were all on the dance floor going hard!! I do wish the dance floor had been bigger & the crowd of people there were more diverse but overall a great night. I had never heard of this spot before but I will definitely be going back. It's a cute spot if you're celebrating your bday, such great vibes!!

Food, service, drinks, atmosphere off the chart. Best crowd of people in LA. Can't forget the best looking girls in Westside.

Oh well, I'll have to come back bc there are still things I want to try. This time, the highlight was the fried chicken wings. Wow, that crisp! Tables looked available around 5pm though so walk-ins could be possible. Ambiance: Outside was nice and inside looked dimly lit and romantic. We were seated promptly and service was good. Food: Rice slushy had a strangely strong cinnamon-like taste to it that traditional rice punch doesn't have which was so overpowering, it made it difficult to go back for more sips. Oysters - good though small, enjoyed the kelp mignonette Korean Aguachile - Delicate tilefish completely overwhelmed by cold kimchi broth with actual icy slush in it and small amounts of fish Steak Tartare - The hot stone bowl seemed to defeat the purpose of a tartare, as it cooked the steak once mixed. The perilla leaves were also cut in large strips relative to the beef. Chilled Acorn Noodle - The perilla oil was nonexistent in flavor though the dish didn't need it and was good without. Overall, portions were small for the price and dishes weren't well-executed so despite being excited for more Korean options in West LA, I'd much rather make the drive to Koreatown for better portions, prices, and flavors.

I've been going to them more and more, and The Lucky Tiki was one I definitely had to try out. First off, I have to praise 1933 group because I have loved every single bar they have revitalized and this one is no different. In keeping with their MO, The Lucky Tiki is a speakeasy with a vintage vibe. I won't give away how to get in but let's just say, it's near the front of Highland Park Bowl. My husband and I didn't have a reservation, but we were able to put our name in and got seated about an hour or so later. I was amazed as soon as I walked in the door! It's just floor to ceiling decorated with everything tiki. So many fun details and even interactive elements that turn on when a particular drink was ordered. That was probably my favorite part honestly. We ordered the Tiki Diablo, which is a large tiki drink with a flaming volcano. And yes it does have an interactive element. It was really good. Very fruity and strong, but not overly so. Service was excellent. Our waitress was on it and even waited to make sure my husband was back from the bathroom before lighting our drink on fire. We didn't try any food this time, but a lot of people were ordering the Hawaiian pizza. Do with that what you may. Will definitely be back ti try more drinks and food. Was the perfect spot for a lively date night!

So after having a reservation for weeks, I get a text from this place saying someone booked a private event so my reservation is cancelled. How about instead of accepting $$$ for a private event that will deny customers their reservation, they make the private event work around what is available? Terrible way of doing business, but I hope they get lots of $$$ and engagement for the privileged private event attendees.

A small restaurant located inside this plaza in Beverly Hills that you would never know about unless someone told you. Every time I've been, the waiters, service and management have been so nice and come check on you constantly. The place definitely gives off those Latin vibes and you feel it once you arrive. As for the food, my boss ordered appetizers for the table, which were shrimp tacos, flautas, and empanadas which were all very good! My favorite were the flautas with guac. For my main dish I went with the Chilean sea bass with a side of broccolini and rice. That sea bass was phenomenal! It had a nice sweet glaze on it with a very slit crisp texture on the top. One of the best! The Hideaway goes down as one of my favorite spots in Beverly Hills and I highly recommend checking it out. OOOOO 5 out of 5 Afros

I had placed a phone order, for pick up; upon arrival, I found the service was prompt. I saw my food ready to go, just past the main walk-in area. Almost immediately after that, I was taken care of by the host and on my way. I've been waiting to try this place for ages so on the drive back to work I was excited to steal a piece of meat from the bag. Initial bite flavor was good, meat was tender just a bit on the chewy side.. I wasn't bothered by it too much as I'd have to leave it in an oven warmer at work. Trying to keep food warm, in doing so, I knew there'd be only two possible outcomes, melting tender or either tough & dry. So, the dish of meat and rice sat in the warmer for almost an hour hour and a half. The downhill slope.... Set the "meat " on the veggies and began to eat. Meat after meat, I kept experiencing the same exact texture. It was the same exact rubbery chew, I initially tasted. Each and every piece was the same exact flavor. There was no peak, there was no pitfall. If you cook or grill, you know this is a red flag. Normally, consistency would be a good thing, a Master craftsman type experience, but this was NOT it. As go on, I get the sinking feeling, this can't be real meat. I lock in, the deeper I dig, each piece looks the same, broken apart the same, tastes the same, just various shapes. They can call me crazy for this one - I'll stand by it. Something is not right here. I'm not even going to throw it away. I'm going to study it for the next few days and post an updated review.
