Round 1. I forgot the names of the drinks I had that evening but they were pretty good.

After dinner, my bestie and I decided to grab some drinks at the infamous Bamboo Club, located near Anaheim St. & Redondo Ave. I've passed this place a million times and never thought to give it a shot until our recent visit. The vibe is nice, and the atmosphere is very cute, although I found it to be a little too dim inside. The service was great; however, I wish it had been a little speedier. I didn't know they offered food here until the server mentioned getting us started with appetizers. Maybe next time, I'll order a small bite alongside my drink. The drinks were aesthetically pleasing and equally good! I had never been to a tiki-themed bar prior to this, so I really enjoyed my visit, especially since I love tiki drinks. Overall, I'd definitely return for a fun night out!

Lots of food and drink options, so you're sure to find something you will want to try! They have wonderful live music, seemingly very often! Service seemed to try to rush customers I believe due to reservations? I have to mention that the Zombie drink is strong. Our lovely waitress compared it to a long island! Food: 5/5 Service: 4/5 Ambiance: 4.5/5

I organized two group outings to the Bamboo Club recently and both groups had a great time. The staff were welcoming and made our experiences positive. Happy hour is all day Monday and Tuesday, Wed-Fri 3-6 pm, and Tuesday also has Taco specials. On my first visit I tried the Singapore Sling, wings, ahi tacos, and bread pudding. The singapore sling was very good. The chicken wings were large, juicy, and well sauced. The tacos were good, but the soft taco shells were a bit stale. The bread pudding was enough to split among our group and was ok but not great. On my second visit I had the Bye Bye Ladies (my favorite of the three drinks I tried), Thai Me a River, Roll-Subi, and Crispy Chicken Sandwich. The chicken sandwich was great and you have a choice of side. I selected the thai chicken salad as a side, which was tasty. The inside is quite dark, but has a fun tiki vibe. There is also a nice patio for outdoor seating.

Bamboo Club is such a great spot if you're looking for a fun, laid-back night out. The overall vibe is super chill, no need to dress up fancy, just come as you are and enjoy yourself. The crowd is always good, which really adds to the experience. The drinks are solid and definitely worth it, with prices ranging from about $14 to $26. The punch bowl is a standout at $26 and perfect for sharing. The bar and seating area are a bit on the darker side, but it actually adds to the cozy, relaxed atmosphere. The restroom is on the smaller side, but the main space itself feels open enough to hang out comfortably. Parking is limited in their lot, but there's usually street parking nearby, so it's manageable. Overall, Bamboo Club delivers great drinks, a fun crowd, and easygoing vibes, definitely a five-star spot for a casual night out!

So happy we decided to stop in for a drink and some grub on our way back from the Long Beach Pow Wow--what an absolute treat. I love a good tiki bar, and this one is definitely up there in the ranks. From the moment you walk in, it's clear they've committed fully to the theme. Every corner is thoughtfully designed, from the dim, moody lighting and glowing red fireplace to the layered textures, bamboo details, and playful island décor. It really feels like you've been transported somewhere far away. There's also a great mix of indoor and outdoor seating--the patio is sunny and relaxed during the day, while the inside leans into that cozy, escapist tiki vibe at night. The staff were incredibly welcoming, friendly, and helpful, which made the experience even better. And as someone who eats vegan, I really appreciated that they actually have options. That's not always the case with tiki spots, so it definitely stood out. For drinks, I had two Painkillers--and as the name suggests, I left feeling no pain. Smooth, tropical, and dangerously easy to sip. Presentation was also on point, with beautiful garnishes that matched the whole aesthetic. Food-wise, I ordered the Impossible burger without cheese. It was good, though not quite great. Next time, I'd probably ask for it cooked a bit longer and go lighter on the Thousand Island-style sauce, which was a bit overpowering. That said, the fries were perfectly cooked--crispy on the outside, fluffy inside--and the vegan egg roll appetizer was a standout. Seriously delicious and a must-order. Another big plus: there's a free parking lot attached, which made stopping in super easy. All in all, this spot nails the atmosphere, delivers solid drinks, and offers thoughtful vegan options. We'll definitely be back.

Came here for a few cocktails during the day and enjoyed the vibe! It's a chill bar in the Long Beach area with food also available. We ended up getting a Mai Tai and a few other drinks. The Mai Tai was made well and not too sweet. They also have merchandise available too. Since we came earlier in the day it wasn't crowded but they have a DJ booth which I'd assume would make nights here popular.

A really solid spot for some fun Tikki drinks, I really liked the bowl! The service was super great, and the ambiance is very charming with the full on Tikki vibes.

Coolest spot for a quick drink and eats. Love the vibes and some nights they have a live DJ . The drinks were really good and the spam masubi was so good too :) Definitely coming back to this little spot

This is definitely a spot to check out. Cool vibes on a Thursday night with live dj playing. The bartenders were on point and the food was also on point. Definitely coming back and coming during happy hour because they a have great happy hour menu.

So I can only rate on the drinks, not the food. But man, the drinks were not great. These are very basic drinks made with very basic spirits, and not balanced well, the decor was ok for just a bar, but if you are truly into tiki, this is not for you. The part that really got me was being told at the end, "there is an automatic 18% tip for the Halloween popup." Seriously get out of here with that. I went to 9 tiki bars this week, 80% of them decorated for Halloween, and decorated tastefully with knockout drinks, and wasn't charged a since cent for it. Especially for budget cobwebs and other trinkets thrown around just because. Strongwater, fully decorated, James beard nominated, doesn't charge for Halloween decorations and they are less then 20 minutes from here. The up charge is actually quite ridiculous. Won't be returning to this one.

I'll start with the good stuff. The customer service and the ambiance was great. Our server Brian was very kind and attentive. The ambiance is fun and loud. The DJ started at 9pm so there was even dancing in the inside, we sat outside in the patio area. There's tons of multi color lights and other outdoor lights. It's very fun and a great place to go any day of the week honestly. The food is just okay though. We ordered some potstickers, the masubi, and the garlic noodles. Everything was delicious except for the masubi. I'm not sure if we just received an odd batch but our rice was rock hard and it was just disgusting. We wanted to like it so bad because the flavors were all there but the texture just killed it. Anyways, check it out for yourself and you'll definitely enjoy yourself.

GIRL!!!!! when i tell you the mac salad was hitting.... it was hitting. the patty melt was so good too! not only was the food delish, the vibes in here were so festive. we came in december and the themed lights and xmas decorations were so fun. we went on a thursday night so it was relatively calm, it can get rowdy later on in the night but it's the best of both worlds!

    Maritza S.

5 stars for service The bartenders were attentive and friendly. We were able to get a second round of drinks easily. 5 stars for drinks The drinks were well balanced and delicious. I ordered The Flor is Guava. It is made with Reserva de Familia Platino Tequila, Licor 43, lime, coconut, guava, and angostura bitters. It was so delicious that I had a second one! My friend got the Painkiller and she loved it. Negative a thousand stars for restroom cleanliness. On the way out my friend and I tried to use the restroom. I walked out immediately and she did as well. Both restrooms smelled disgusting and there was trash and pee all over the place. It was a bummer after having had such a lovely experience before that. FYI the parking lot is very small. There is street parking.

Sunday through Weds we stop serving food at 10pm and Thurs through Sat 11pm

Where is it safe to park if their lot is full?

Side street adjacent to the bar is safe. I've parked there many times. The problem is like most of Long Beach, parking is a premium.

I honestly don't know. But I think you could. We didn't order the crème brûlée so I am not sure of the answer. Sorry.

They might they have sit down booths in separate section.

    Is it 21+ only?

Nope. Went with my 17 year old just last month.

4/5pm for dinner. Then 8pm for drinks/music crowd.

Do they watch sports games here?

I don't think so but you could always check it's more about Tiki and music

Do you require vax cards to dine in?

    No.

What cocktail drinks are available in the can? Is it limited quantity per day? I went to order today (first time there), and was disappointed to hear that there were only four cocktail options for to-go.

And this one time I was there alone with another, no other patrons just staff members walking around from time to time. We stole the moment to dance under the Long Beach sky, just the two of us as a famous Christina Perrio song gently wafted in the night breeze. At another separate time, I was at the Los Angeles County Fair with another. We rode the ferris wheel at such a time where our gondola stopped at the top just as the sun set. The moment was nothing but beautiful and life affirming because the sinking of the sun's light was like a real life video of nature happening in front of us, unburdened by static or data stall. We witnessed nature resting, and I feel, that it was a kin to a beauty falling into a gentle sleep. These two instances have a common factor: momentary bliss arrived to bless an experience because the environment supported discovery of unplanned joy. That is what I associate with the Wicked Wolf, and this time the joy arrived eventually because when my Mom and I arrived to their high tea on Mother's Day the experienced seem like it would land nowhere good. Truth be told, my mom and I arrived 15 minutes early and there was no host in the stand and the place was empty except for a foursome. The energy felt lacked luster. One or two minutes after, the bartender informed us that we were early and the host would come soon. We sat in an available sofa for two, a loveseat persay. This gave us an opportunity to admire the decor that transported us to a storybook forest where good fairies reside, not like swamp creatures and trolls with malevolent fangs and dragon green eyes. I especially loved the large roses in the ceiling. To set the stage, the black ceiling had vines hanging from it, and the few roses were pops of crimson red displayed above. These were wonderful accents to the central mural of the joint that invited the viewer within deeper into the fairy forest where a light shone on an unseen meadow. The place had the decorations and general environment to be a lavender fairy's lounge, but, it did not fully work as a team room. For instance, my mom and I were sat in another lover's couch. Initially, I did not want to sit here because we were given circular tray sets. So imagine being told to sit in a couch, and each of us would get a tv tray. So I was left to wonder if we were going to be served tea in Belle's living room or if were going to watch a flick as we ate pollo loco bowl? But then as I settled into the tranquility of the moment, saw more people come and find their seat or couch, and as the serviced picked-up I realized that this was high tea in a place that had taken disjointed beauty and tackied it together for a patched tea experience that worked well. It was like the experienced was blessed and allowed by the same spirit that brought forth Raggedy Ann. For instance, the pictures show these pretty violet petaled tea cups and matching plates. This pairing was dainty and perfect for a tea party happening under pink veils. But then the sugar cubes came in a hedgehog shaped holder which was just as precious as seeing a piglet in a carriage built for one. Then the cream carrier was in the shape of a milk carton. I wondered where the missing child portrait was? The pastry plate was in the shape of a tropical flower like the ones scattered all over Hawaii. It belonged in a beautiful lei. Each of these elements was cute in its own delicate and whimsical way but together they made an eclectic hodgepodge, not a coherent tea set. And in this asymmetry laid the glitter of their error. The host also brought these clip on dainty hats that were perfect touches for make believe tea party. He carried them around in their original packing, including the box they came in. Not exactly the tailor of the queen, offering hats to the villagers as a gift from her to them, but still the effort magnified the moment. The tea food was the worst stumble that Red took as she was being chased by the Wicked Wolf. To begin with the end analysis, the tea offerings in general were standard, and not bites fit for a princess and her wedding court. For instance, the cream cheese and cucumber sandwich was just that---- a cucumber and cream cheese sandwich. I detected no effort to make it more than that. The blueberry scone was solid, nothing to skip through a meadow about. But once you added the jam of the table to the scone it was much easier to enjoy. I also had a madeline that was fluffy in the center but could have been purchased maybe at Costco. I had a Macaron and same thing, delicious but I have had something similar before and I suspected that it did not come from a place afloat with Parisian affairs. The best part of the tiers was this puff like thing that had like a Concha texture and design at the top. It was a sweet filled bite that was fit for a man made of muffin.

But sadly my mom could not hear us, due to the music being so loud, we did ask twice if they would turn it down a little to no avail. That is too much money to spend, to not be able to hear each other. We had to hurry out because she was getting frustrated.

There's…read morealmost always an event or gathering happening out in their parking area, which gives it a really fun, lively vibe. What I really appreciate is that sometimes it's even kid-friendly, which makes it a great option if you're not just going out solo or with friends. I've been coming around since back when it was Iguana Kelly's, and it's been cool to see how the place has evolved while still keeping that local, neighborhood feel. The location is super easy to find, right next to a donut shop and a mechanic, and across the street you've got a 7-Eleven, Subway, and a few other small spots. Plus, Tommy's Burgers and an Arco are right nearby, so everything you might need is within reach. I tried both the cucumber mixed drink and the mango mixed drink, both were really good, but I personally preferred the cucumber one. It's less sweet and way more refreshing, especially if you're not into overly sugary drinks. We also had a BBQ chicken pizza that they cook in a fire oven (I think it's called a wood-fired pizza), and it was really good, definitely worth trying if you go. Service was good During the outdoor event, they had things set up really well, including a sign that read "21 and over beyond this point only," which helped keep things organized. They also had jumpers outside for the little ones to enjoy, along with tables and chairs so everyone could hang out comfortably. Parking can be a bit tight in their lot, but there's always street parking if you take a minute to read the signs. Overall, it's a great hangout spot with a welcoming atmosphere and something happening more often than not. Definitely worth checking out.

The vibe was perfect...great energy with plenty of room to dance. The cocktails were excellent, and the bartenders, Jose and Jocelyn, were incredibly attentive and helped make the night even better. Honestly, every staff member we interacted with, from the promoter to the security guard, was fantastic and contributed to such a fun welcoming atmosphere. The decor was such a fun surprise...tons of palm trees and inflatables made it feel like you were in a tropical getaway rather than just a pizza restaurant. They also had a photo booth, which added another fun touch to the night. We took a ton of pictures in it. We really appreciated the gender-neutral bathrooms and the overall safe, inclusive environment that made our whole group feel comfortable drinking, dancing, and celebrating. Parking can be rough, but as a Long Beach native I already knew that, so we chose to Uber.. We'll absolutely be making the trip back from North Orange County to visit again!

The staff are friendly but definitely no-nonsense; which highlights how it's a bar that has food rather than a restaurant-type establishment. It's never the first or only stop of the night but it is worth going by just to feel it out and eat.

We arrived and there were a few parties leaving, we walked to the bar area and the two servers were occupied with other guests, so we patiently waited. Finally one of them approached us and shared the menu, another gentleman came to the bar and he was quickly greeted with a hello and our same server immediately shared the menu. The gentleman politely said, these ladies were here first please take their order first, which the server did but was not so happy about. To our surprise the server still prepared his drinks first. The gentleman very surprised apologized since he knew we were there before him. With our drinks in hand we found a table with some empty seats. The table side where we sat had a sprite glass bottle and a glass that hadn't been picked up since the last party left. We moved it a side to set our drinks and finally enjoy our conversation. A different server came to the table and asked the gentleman next to us to get his empty glass and she completely ignored our side. She did another round and I finally asked her to pick up the bottle that was left by another party before us. I asked her for the menu again, she brought it but she did say that I had go back up to the bar to order any additional drinks. We decided to not order a second round and head up to the terrace.
