What a disappointment, this place used to have one of the best sausage bkf burritos in town but I went there a couple of weeks ago to order it again and to my surprise, the burrito was almost flat, more tortilla than anything else, one little piece of sausage, almost no eggs, cheese nor hash brown. I guess I'll have to find another place for sausage bkf burritos. Also the chicken dinner used to be so good, now the chicken pieces are so small too. I bought a bean and cheese burrito here today and I actually had to stop eating it. It was mostly all cold shredded cheese with a very thin layer of beans lining the inside of tbe tortilla. I was surprised because I have ordered this twice before and it was totally different and delicious before. Maybe they ran out of beans and decided to fill it with all cheese? One star is too much for this restaurant, do not buy food here, orders are given wrong. I work in Long Beach, when I go to work I saw my order was completely wrong, manager Art told me to bring the food back the next day in order to get a refund. Worse possible experience I've had in my town. I've been here many times prior and never had a bad experience. I guess today was the day for all that to change. Went to the drive-thru mid-morning on a Friday. Ordered a cheeseburger combo with o-rings and a drink. This is where I should've known it was going bad. The lady repeated my order with an avocado cheeseburger combo. I had to correct her 3 times to get my order right on the intercom. She even said, "o-rings instead of fries?". And I said yes. I proceeded to the window. The lady repeated my order and took my money. $19, by the way, for a combo here. Seems a bit high, but I wanted the o-rings. She gives my change back with no receipt. She came back with my drink and a little later gave me a bag with my order. I go home to find I had fries and not o-rings. I returned to YB and explained to them that they got my order wrong to the lady who helped me at the window. Another lady pulled up my order to check what it was. She claims that it was the correct order as the first lady walks away. She then tells me that if I wanted the o-rings, it would be an additional $4. By now my meal is getting cold and I told her I just want a refund. She tells me that there are no refunds and that it's stated on the receipt. I told her I didn't get a receipt when I got my change back. I asked her if there was no refund, even if the order was wrong? She shrugs her shoulders. At this point, she seemed aggravated and didn't want to alleviate the problem. I just wanted what I ordered. She was adamant about no refunds. At that point, I gave up trying to prove my point to her. I told her to keep the money, maybe invest it in a new intercom system or staff that understands English. I don't know why there are so many negative reviews. This place serves really great food especially burgers. This is one of my favorite mom and pop diners in Carson with Ted's and Foster's Freeze. Their hamburgers here are delicious. They are always charbroiled and fresh. My favorite is the Frisco Burger with cheese, the Colossal with cheese, patty melt, and the bacon cheeseburger. I love their fries but even more their onion rings. They have the best onion rings in town, always golden, crispy, and fried to perfection and unlike other places, the batter doesn't fall or flake apart. Breakfast is wonderful too, the pancakes and French toast are my favorite. Service is good, nice friendly people to serve you and take phone orders. Along with Ted's and Foster's Freeze this diner has been here forever since like the mid 50's and I've been buying food here since the early 90's when I was 4 with my family and friends and they always have served quality food since even before then. Even my great aunt and uncle always loved having a hamburger here together until they passed in 86 and 87. Lots of sweet memories here and a great place to eat. read more

I found this spot by accident while foraging for food with a friend. I was pleasantly surprised to find such a great place that makes a mean Reuben and great burgers. On this day they had a full staff behind the counter all masked up and distant, I saw the owner actually working replacing lights and giving out great service. I dont know how she does it all but I'm glad she does. I received my order correctly, which is very important in this COVID era. My food was hot and my Reuben was a great success. Plenty of meat on rye bread and their food is not all that greasy and still taste good. This too is another place I plan on going back to and telling all my friends.
