Respectfully this review may sound harsh but it's 1000% truth. The burger...eww. Why? Low grade, FOUL smelling Jennio-O caliber meat quality at best. And desert dry at that. If you're okay with this, then have at it. But just remember this review when you smell this under seasoned chunk of rancid meat you just spent your hard earned money on. The first thing I noticed cutting into this burger was the scent. It was FOUL. And then I instantly remembered why it has been 2 years since I visited this place. Same experience. This meat cannot be fresh whatsoever. It stinks. But to no surprise, it mirrors the poor quality of the fries (mid at best) and the knock off hidden valley ranch disguised as a house ranch you have to pay extra for. TBH the idea of a burger spot specializing in turkey burgers is really unique and opens up options that are both simple and satisfying. However, the turkey-- where you buy it, how you store it and the overall quality is the star of the show, and this ain't it. Simply put, it's not for me. I could not eat this food. Not to mention I feel there is a bit of deflection on the workers part when a concern is politely brought to their attention. The food, guaranteed IS NOT FRESH. Our go to when we're visiting family in Carson. $29.22 for 2 Turkey Burger Combos with Cheese is a great price. The Burgers are always juicy, fries are usually perfectly cooked, and there only one size or fountain drink. They do have two people seats inside if you need to sit but definitely not enough room for family to sit together. Services is good always polite. Keep in mind if you want any ranch you have to pay extra and also extra for cheese. They share parking with other businesses, the 7/11 is usually busy but we've never had a problem finding a spot. read more

This is really one of my favorite burgers out there. Tiny local joint serving up the community. Old school vibes with checkered floors, red leather chairs and mirrored walls. Offer breakfast and lunch food like burgers, chicken burgers, turkey burgers, yummy fries. Service is fast and simple, but don't expect great hospitality. Yesterday evening around 6pm, I ordered a chili cheese burger with a fried egg and fries. I don't normally eat inside but I was starving and decided to dine in. The service was mediocre, the restaurant APPEARED to be clean. After 2 bites, Unfortunately there was a very long hair inside of my food. It got stuck in my throat. That's how I found it. The most disgusting experience ever. I showed the employee working the register and he had the audacity to ask if I wanted a new meal as if I were being dramatic. Absolutely not. This place kinda snuck up on me I just needed some quarters from the convenience store next to it and decided to give it a shot. I ordered the turkey burger, and it was ehhhhhhhh. While the food is good, the service isn't. Don't call in an order! I called from my car with my mom to place an order for pick up. I gave the employee my order and my mother proceeded to place her order. After every item, the employee said "what," so I repeated louder since he couldn't hear. I definitely didn't yell, just spoke loud enough to ensure he could hear. He then told me I was being rude. What? My mother and I looked at each other puzzled. It has been hard finding good places to eat since we moved to Carson. And I kid you not when I say this place was the first time I was left full and happy from trying a mom & pop type of restaurant. I had the cheeseburger and it was so tasty. Better than any Tams and the only other place I would say is better is In N Out. Rating: 3.5 Came here for a quick bite to eat and the staff were weird. They looked at us with those deer in headlights gazes. They were not very friendly and while we waited for our food to be prepared another worker kind of periodically got up from his seat behind the counter and walked past and continued looking at us. This place is definitely set up for to-go orders and not dine-in... The tables for seating needed cleaning. Anyways we got a chicken ground burger -- 7/10 Regular cheese burger -- 5/10 and large fires to share -- 7/10 The fries came unseasoned and the customer has to season them yourself with this seasoning salt shaker they have on their paying counter!? This place adds a little something different with a mustard and relish topping for their burgers and I'm here for it. The only reason I can not give it a 5 star is due to the counters. A few receipts and spilled salt on the counters kept me from giving it a perfect score, but the grill, prep stations, and staff themselves look to be very clean. I've been coming here since I was a kid, and 20+ years later, it's still as good as it's been. The restaurant is small but clean. The staff is friendly, the food is seasoned well, and the overall service is great. The turkey burger is usually nice and moist, and the chicken burger is fire! Y'all, when I tell you no McDonald's, Burger King, Carl's Jr., or Long John Silver can touch their fish sandwich, I mean it. Their pastrami sandwich is better than the old-school Johnny's Pastrami on Crenshaw... yup, I said it . They give you good portions, and they care about the spice rack. What more can you ask for? The parking lot is not very big but since everyone is always coming and going just picking up their food or boba next door, it doesn't take long for a spot to open up. There is no drive-thru. It's across the street from Cal State Dominguez Hills. Walking into this place feels like walking into a deli and there are a few tables if you want to eat your burger nice and fresh. We took ours to-go since the tables are a bit on the smaller side. It cost us close to $30 (if I'm not mistaken) for 2 combo meals, one chicken burger and one turkey burger with fries and a medium drink each. Highly recommend. Will be going back. read more
