Came here for the first time yesterday since it was close to work! I enjoyed my club sandwhich and I ordered my fried extra well done. I was surprised they executed everything so nicely since normally people have ignored my request. My husband really enjoyed his pastrami sandwhich with extra pickles and asked if this place was close to my job...... I know I'm going to be going back sooner than expected! Next time however, I will put a phone order before pick up

It says Drive-In, but it's impossible to drive in at this location. When you go into the drive-in way, the window is not open and no one is available to take your order. When you pull up to the Drive-In menu and speaker, there is no one asking you what your order might be. When you pull around the drive-in speaker, you realize there is no Drive in, as there's no way to get out. Why is it called a drive-in restaurant? I had a minute, so I walked up to the window. Be careful not to park near the wall, as it smells like pee. I almost got right back in my car and went somewhere else. However, I was hankering for a full breakfast under $5--you know, like the corner joints make. So upon approach, I found an elderly man with a clean kitchen awaiting my order. He took my order and I thought I would see him cook on the front grill. He went to the back grill, behind the wall I could not see. He reappeared what's the veggie omelette in a bowl ready to pour on grill. The omelette have so many vegetables in it oh, I could not taste the egg. While I waited for my omelette, another young man order fries to go and received them. Another gentleman ordered a burger and fries , and his was readying, as mine was. The place was impeccably clean. The front kitchen was clean, the hallway kitchen was clean, the outside patio was clean...

    Pastrami sandwich

Pastarami sandwich is definitely the best in the Long Beach/Compton area. So darn good. I'm going back for the second time today. Highly recommend this small family business makes me want to support as much as I can. The customer service was 5 stars. Friendly and warm.

    Grilled Chicken Sandwich, delicious.

Couldn't believe what I saw on both Yelp and Apple Maps, 4.8 stars and over 100+ reviews and this spot is in Compton, my city. Didn't even know a spot like this existed. Busted a u-turn going down Alondra so I could go back to Atlantic then make that right and slide to Compton Blvd and make that left. A few streets from there on your right side you'll find boulevard gastropub. Sitting next door to some other business which is right next to a big parking lot which is free by the way. I've parked in this lot at least a couple of times just to go to that taco truck and never noticed gastropub. Immediately when I walked in it was good vibes and the sense of a good atmosphere. I was greeted by the owner and a young lady who was the bartender. The owner is real cool. We had a short conversation I shared with him how I discovered his business and informed him I do reviews as well as post some content on my social media platforms in hopes of businesses receiving more attention and customers. Unfortunately, due to them not having an alcohol or liquor license, some of their drinks such as the cocktails are more so wine based drinks. So please don't come here expecting to get some Don Julio or Hennessy. Ain't gone happen lol. I had a Classic Mojito and enjoyed it. The price was $10 which I found exceptional. The food was delicious. I recommend the Blvd Burger as a go to if you can't decide on anything else. I loved it so much I had to make a video. And definitely try the Voodoo Wings. You won't be disappointed. Just imagine buffalo wings with lemon pepper seasoning. Cuz that's what it is and they're fire. No bs with the ranch dressing too. I'm definitely returning for another visit. I can see this being a new frequent spot to pull up to and hang out. I love the ambiance, my drink, the food here and the customer service. All things to be considered when going out and spending money. What I spent was definitely worth the first time experience.

The restaurant itself is small but mighty, with a cozy feel and a menu that delivers. Everything is made to order, and they offer a rotating selection of local craft beers, which is a nice touch if you like trying something new. We ordered the spicy Korean wings, and thankfully they were not overly spicy, making them easy to enjoy. The real standout, though, was the Blvd burger. It was excellent and easily the highlight of the meal. I will definitely be coming back to try more of their burgers. Overall, the prices were better than most places, especially considering the quality. Definitely worth a visit.

OJ's was on my list…read moreand 3 minutes from my medical appointment so I hit the Yellow Brick Road looking for a sandwich. OJ's is located in a small strip mall but parking is adequate so no worries there. Having checked out the menu on Yelp, I already knew I wanted the Italian. I had called twice before I drove there but no one picked up so I was relieved they were open. The Italian contains ham, cotto salami, mortadella, and best of all capocollo with provolone. The large is enough for 2 people to split or make 2 meals out of if you're not ravenous. All the lettuce, tomatoes, pepperoncini, and onions were very fresh and the roll was nice and soft. The Works sub must be a real monster. Service was great. My sub was done in a snap and I was ready to go. Very friendly staff working the shop. The only let down was being charged for using a credit card. I didn't see any sign but maybe I just missed it. It was only 75 cents so no biggie but it would be nice if they could tell you there's a charge if you'd rather pay cash. Oh well. I'd like to try some other sandwiches the next time I'm in the neighborhood. Thank you OJ's!

BIRTHDAY MONTH=BIRTHDAY COUPONS=HAPPY RODNEY…read more Free 8" sandwich (Favorites/Originals) or wrap Spicy East Coast Italian- Double salami, double capocollo, provolone, extra on most of the included ingredients. My go-to sandwich at Jimmy John's, for the amount of meat included. Ordered via the app while dining on sushi at Benihana, and my Italian sammie was ready when I arrived. A great sandwich & birthday perk, the Spicy East Coast Italian was a great post-sushi meal, before I embarked to Shake Shack to redeem my free birthday month shake. Service was good. My sandwich was ready and I was happy with it. Although, I did choose extra on most of the included ingredients, so I expected to see a heaping mound of a sub. Instead, it seemed to be regular-sized. I asked for a water cup, which they informed me they came in disposable conical shaped cups, which can't be placed on a table. For a quarter, I could have iced water in a beverage cup. No, thanks. Forget a birthday cake. I'd take a birthday sub sandwich, any day. Jimmy John's Spicy East Coast Italian always comes through for a solid meal. Ordering on the app simplified things, and I look forward to my next free sandwich, a year from now.

I was really disappointed with my experience. I placed my order about 15 minutes before I was told…read morethere was an issue, and I only found out because my DoorDash driver messaged me saying the store didn't have what I ordered. No one from the store contacted me first. The order was supposed to include pickles and cucumbers. At first I was told they didn't have them, but when I called the store myself, I was then told they did have cucumbers and pickles, but they needed to be sliced and it would be a wait. That was frustrating because my order had already been placed 15 minutes earlier, and the store still had about two hours until closing. Why weren't basic sandwich toppings already prepared during business hours? This also delayed me being able to take my medication by over an hour, which made the situation even more frustrating. I ordered food expecting it to arrive in a reasonable time so I could eat and take my medication, not have to chase down information about missing or unprepared ingredients. On top of that, when I finally received the sandwich, it was very dry and had barely any mustard. They also added salt and oregano even though I removed those from the order. After all the delay and confusion, the food still wasn't made correctly. I understand things happen, but the communication was poor and the situation didn't make sense. If items are unavailable, they should be marked unavailable online before customers pay. And if the items are available but just not prepped, the customer should be told clearly and directly instead of me finding out from the delivery driver. Overall, this was a frustrating experience because I paid for my order expecting it to be made correctly and on time. Instead, I had to call the store myself, my medication schedule was delayed, and the sandwich arrived dry, with minimal mustard, and with ingredients I specifically removed due to allergies.
