The food and the two chicas at the register. Carolina and Marie (well her middle name...lol) First time here and I felt welcomed. Ordered a Green burrito a Red Burrito and Asada Tostada. Before ordering I was given a plate with The Sample. It had a scoop of the Red and Green and Asada for the taste. So I ordered one of each. My husband who is a picky eater enjoyed the Asada tostada. Asada was cooked well and juicy not dry. Beans were a hit and the tostada was humongous . Tasteful and filling. Green and red burritos were very good Will be back when in the area Thanks for a very enjoyable lunch

Consistently delicious. I enjoy everything I've tried on the menu, my favorite is that Green Jones. The people working there are all very nice, the restaurant is clean, and the bathroom is too. Bonus points for a clean bathroom.

The nachos at Isaac's Cafe are on another level! Huge portions, perfectly crisp chips, and loaded with all the good stuff -- melty cheese, fresh toppings, and just the right amount of spice. Every bite had the perfect balance of crunch and flavor. Easily some of the best nachos I've had anywhere. Pair them with their carne asada or green chile and you've got an unbeatable combo. Friendly staff, quick service, and great prices make it even better. This place is a must-try if you're anywhere near Wilmington ! Ask the lady for her recommendations she's always on point 10/10 Chill spot Cool environment the ambience makes the whole experience even better

I had to stop in for ol' times sake! This little whole in the wall has been around for a long time and unless you know someone, who knows somebody that knows this place is here, you're bound to miss it! It's literally tucked away off the main roads and is a secret neighborhood gem that is as unique in flavor as it is in location. I've always ordered a carne asada burrito and a green chile burrito, because it's not often that I'm in town and these two are a must if you're a fan of Isaac's Cafe. The carne asada has a flavor that is so hard to replicate (seriously, I've tried!) and the green chile (pork meat) is the spice that every one needs to put in their life! It's hot and OMG delicious!!! I only eat half of each burrito and save the rest for later, because they are a good size meal. The carne asada burrito is stuffed with meat, fresh avocado slices and pico de gallo. The green chile burrito is just the pork meat simmered in a spicy green chile sauce, which I think is the reason I've always loved this food. The burritos do not come packed with beans and rice like other places, but you do pay a pretty penny to get an all meat burrito. However, despite the higher than what you'd expect prices, the food is so worth it! If you've never been to Isaac's, I say, you should, now that you know somebody (me!) who knows this place is here! It's a family-run restaurant where you order at the counter and food is brought to your table. The place is always very clean and though small, has an ample amount of seating. There is plenty of street parking and also on-site parking available. I happened to stop in around 1:30, but if I remember correctly, this place can get very busy during the lunch hour. Friendly service!

Sell bottle beer and seltzer They have a condiment bar available. Taco $3.25- feels like a steep price. But the tortilla are hand made and have a nice chew. They are thick, but not too fluffy. Carnitas taco- the meat was really tasty. It was soft but still crispy with texture. A little excess oil. But was really good. Could be seasoned more. Asada- meat was soft. Has a nice grilled taste Al pastor- soft. The flavor is average. Nice texture to the meat grilled. Top shelf fries $16- was super super good. I would get this again. Great to share. I think the biggest difference is that they stopped making the tortillas by hand and the meat doesn't taste as good as it used to. In all honesty, the quality has gone downhill. I know that they started a burger food truck that they have parked outside and maybe they are focusing their efforts on that but the change is definitely noticeable in a negative way. I was so excited to come back, but was pretty disappointed with my meal. I will say that the one good thing that they still have going for them is their amazing staff. All of the workers are extremely kind and helpful and they work very hard to keep a clean and aesthetic area. If you heard the hype of fresh handmade tortillas and wanted to try top shelf tacos, save yourself the trip. They don't do it anymore and It's just like any other taco place.

It was located on our way back from Palos Verdes to Long Beach, so stopped in to check it out. It is located in a small strip mall with limited parking, so my wife waited with the car running while I ran in. The first thing one notices is the deli selection of refrigerated ceviches. It is similar to what one can get at the deli section of a Mexican supermarket, including being able to order by the pound. One can get in/out quickly if one just orders what is available in the deli counter. There is also a decent size dining room, where one can order and eat the standard mariscos dishes that the area is well known for. They do accept credit card, and one pound of ceviche de pulpo and half pound of ceviche de camaron cost under $20. It came with 3 orders of tostadas, limes, and hot sauce (thinking half a pound is considered a serving so my order was meant for 3 people). It was packaged well for easy carry out. Brought it home, and it was delicious. The thing I most appreciated was the value: how much seafood was in the serving. Octopus has gotten really expensive, and the amount of meat they gave (vs mostly the vegetables and liquid that the Mexican supermarkets seem to give now) was very generous. This included the shrimp ceviche as well. Both used the lime vegetable ceviche mix that tastes pretty similar to others that I have had. It's always a pleasure to find a new place that serves your favorite dishes but with more value AND is close enough to stop-in without driving too far. Mariscos Rosarito is that place for me now, and I look forward to trying more of their dishes in the future.
