This has been to my GO TO Mexican food place since back in the early 2000's. It's nostalgic to come here and honestly their food is still good. But I do feel like a lot of things changed. - Service is a lot slower - less staff - salsa and sides need to be requested and no longer available to self serve - it's becoming a more to go / pick up spot rather than dining in Ordered - combination burrito taco - combination quesadilla taco - carne asada fries There food is good. Just sad how much has changed from the old days and how long it takes to order and receive the food. But most likely I'll still return as long as they stay in business

Back for soup on a Sunday! Got the Caldo 7 Mares this time. Great broth! Lots of different seafood (octopus, crab, fish, shrimp, mussel, clam) plus veggies galore. Delish and would get it again!

It had been ages since my last visit to this spot. Passing by, I couldn't resist stopping for the carne asada dorado tacos and some extra crispy tripas tacos. Not the best quality but paired with their spicy red salsa, they were quite enjoyable!

Been coming here for YEARS, and order the same thing. Literally the best "Camarones a la Diabla". You order your food and leave, or eat there lol This is not a fancy smancy restaurant, so don't be judgmental, it's literally that "hole in the wall" spot that's delicious. Employees just trying to keep the line moving, they're not being rude lol and not trying to be your friend either haha :D

Taco Sinaloa (aka Taco Sinaloa #3, or Sinaloa Mexican Food) has the typical Mexican fare. Tacos are the main calling here, which are pretty good. Good quality, meats, onions, cilantro, hot sauce, and double corn tortillas. If you want more hot sauce, you can ask for some at the counter. The burritos are filling and another good choice, both the dry and wet choices. Be sure to request some extra hot sauce. Other items I've had, were more on the average side. Specifically, the Camarones a la Diabla which could have done with a lot more heat, and the Caldo de Res which was a chunky beef and vegetable soup but simplistic in taste. The restaurant is a getting on the old side. At most of my recent trips there was a homeless man who would open the door when you enter or exit, but he never asked for any money and didn't cause any problems. The sign out front says they're open 24 hours a day, but it's my understanding that is not case, with them closing at 9:00 or 10:00pm. NOTE: This restaurant is not physically in the City of Torrance. It is in an area of Los Angeles that has it's mail delivered by the Torrance post office, hence the Torrance mailing address.

Carne Asada fries...$15.40 for this. Barely any toppings, hardly any guac or meat.

Carne Asada fries...$15.40 for this. Barely any toppings, hardly any guac or meat and missing sour cream. No one else in line but took 12 mins. Meat was good though. Fries were fresh, though the skinny fries are better for carne asada super fries.

The chips and salsa, the elote, the ceviche were spectacular! The salsas are so tasty! The elote hit the spot! And the ceviche was a large portion which was perfect to share! The tacos were very good! One thing I would change is their tortilla, but the carne asada was tender and well flavored! The fish taco could've used some crema. The service here is some of the best I've experienced. As someone in hospitality, Arturo deserves all the flowers! So kind and friendly! On point! Service was very friendly and attentive and we were promptly seated and served fresh chips along with a trio of salsas which were fresh and had the perfect levels of spice. My son had the kids enchilada and enjoyed his meal. I ordered 3 tacos from the à la carte menu. The chicken was fine but the fish and shrimp were undercooked and I couldn't eat them, which is why I deducted the one star. The other deduction was for the underwhelming flavors in the meals themselves. Usually when a Mexican restaurant had amazing salsa, the same vibe carries through with the entrees , but unfortunately it wasn't my experience. I would probably try once more and edit my review based on a second experience.

When the craving hits, it's always tacos!…read more I stopped by Tacos El Goloso on PCH and ordered a mix of street tacos (carnitas and al pastor) along with the tacos dorados de birria. I've been here before, and the birria tacos were exactly what I needed for a late-night craving. Crispy on the outside with a good amount of filling and strong flavor - they really hit the spot. I ended up having four of them. The consomé on the side was really good too - rich and flavorful, almost something I could've just had on its own. The street tacos were solid. The carnitas had that tender, slightly crisp texture, and the al pastor added a bit more seasoning and contrast. Nothing overcomplicated, just straightforward and satisfying. Service was friendly, and the setup is quick and casual. In the South Bay where places tend to close early, it was nice that they were open until around 10pm. Overall, this is a no-frills taco spot where the focus is on the food. Easy choice when you're in the mood for tacos.

I have been seeing them on my feed but for some reason haven't stopped in yet. As a solo diner I felt pleasantly welcomed as I walked it. The sweet gal behind the counter was very friendly and engaging when I asked her questions seeing it was my first time here. I chose the two taco combo, carne asada was my meat of choice. The two other options were shrimp and chicken. The combo comes with chips and a drink along with my choice of salsa. I have to tell you I was pretty impressed with my tacos. They were loaded with meat; which was really tasty. They had cilantro and onion and avocado. The chips were fresh and also very good. I liked the salsa as well. The two gals working the counter and who brought my food were so sweet. She even came back to ask if I needed anything and gave me extra salsa. They have numerous TVs (got to catch some of the Dodger game. ) in there and they do so alcohol as well. I will definitely be back. This was a very nice solo lunch experience..

I ordered through the kiosk because there was a line, but the experience went downhill from there…read more Three customers who ordered after me received their food before I did. After waiting about 10 minutes, I went to the counter, and it took even longer before an employee asked for my name. It turned out my order had been sitting there for over 20 minutes while takeout orders were being prioritized. When they finally handed me my food, it was still in a bag even though my order was for dine-in, and I had to remind them to give me my drinks. They also forgot to include salsa for the chips. What really frustrated me was being told that next time I should just go to the counter after ordering at the kiosk. As a first-time customer, how was I supposed to know that? If the kiosk orders aren't being monitored, that's something the restaurant should address--not something customers should have to figure out on their own. After this experience, there won't be a next time.

We ordered a side of guacamole, which my daughter loved. Her and I shared a three taco plate with rice and beans. We had the fried cod, asada and carnitas. I'll be right there. The tacos were definitely sizable and we weren't able to finish our share plate. Good flavor loved the freshly fried fish steak crispy even with a huge mound of guacamole on top. There's street parking everywhere, though you may need to hunt for it a bit during rush hours. Vida has both indoor and outdoor seating, I personally would recommend the outdoor area with the sunny weather we've been having, as the indoor area doesn't really have AC from what I could tell. Regardless, the place has a great vibe. Service was awesome, our server was prompt and checked up on us throughout the meal, and everything came very quick. On the food front, their chips and salsa are great, and I'm a fan of their guacamole. I got the 2 taco lunch special with an asada, a cod fish taco, and a side Caesar (you can also do rice and beans if you want instead). The fish taco was excellent, and the carne asada was pretty good (it was a bit on the dry side because of how crispy the meat was, but it was still tasty). The salad was also good too, though slightly overdressed. Overall, this is a great spot for lunch or an early dinner, and I absolutely recommend checking it out.
