We were on the hunt for the best ceviche in the area, and Alfredo's Mexican Restaurant came up during our search. We originally stopped by just to try their ceviche, but what made us stay was the chips and salsa! The chips were warm, crispy, and the salsa had a nice kick that really stood out. That convinced us to stay and have dinner. We ordered the ceviche and a burrito plate (carne asada), and both were delicious! The ceviche and salsa was so good that we ended up ordering more for our get-together during the NBA Finals weekend. It was a hit. We did add more lime for our preference. Monica took care of us, and she was wonderful -- very friendly, welcoming, and attentive. Great service always makes a dining experience even better. Only thing to note is that parking is a bit small, so it can get tight depending on the time you go. If you're in the area and looking for good Mexican food, definitely give Alfredo's a try. The food was excellent, their shredded beef and chicken are both delicious and I loved their enchilada sauce. However, the service was even better! Monica provided maybe the best service we've ever had at a restaurant. Very attentive, super friendly and bubbly, and clearly a very hard worker. The ambiance is authentic and happy and I love their freshly squeezed orange juice which has been few and far between at typical restaurants. I have always enjoyed their food and good service.The restaurant is always very clean and organized. Last time I went was last Friday and I had one of their build your own combination meals and my spinach tamale was stale. Dinner plate under $17. I had the 2 breaded fish taco plate with beans and rice, the chipotle ranch was tangy with the right amount of savory. My husband had a 2 beef taco plate and said it was a nice crisp shell and not too greasy. He's not a fan of frijoles, but he ate all of it on his plate even after having tacos for lunch today too. We have driven by here numerous times and never thought to stop. So when we were in the area, we noticed it was busy so decided to stop. Why have I not tried this place? It is amazing. Service was amazing and the man who took our order was great. We talked to him about it being our first time and he made sure to take care of us. He recommended plates that were popular so that was definitely a plus. A hole in the wall but exceptional service/food. The patio is a must on those hot summer days, too. Since we could not make a selection because we wanted everything, we decided on the two entree plate to get the top two items I wanted. I went with the hard shell taco and tamale that came with rice and beans. The rice and beans made the food that much better. Definitely recommend both. Overall, great place and great service. He tried to order a kids bean and cheese burrito and instead they added a kids meal that was more expensive and when my husband asked them to change it they argued with him and would not change the order.
