This place was such a great breakfast find! Everything we ordered was delicious--from the crispy waffles and fluffy eggs to the loaded French toast and crepes. The portions were generous, the food came out hot, and every plate looked as good as it tasted. The service was friendly, attentive, and made us feel right at home. The atmosphere is super chill, making it the perfect spot to relax, catch up with family or friends, and enjoy a really solid breakfast without feeling rushed. If you're looking for a bomb breakfast with great service and a laid-back vibe, definitely put this place on your list. We'll absolutely be back!
The good: I had tiramisu pancakes and the loaded Lucy burrito. I loved how many pancake options there were and how there was a kids menu. I liked the toasted brown spots on the outside of the burrito. The tiramisu pancakes weren't soggy from the soaked coffee/espresso. It had chunks of torn lady fingers on top. The interior inside is bright and fun with lots of decor items like roosters and "eat good"-type signage. They had TVs inside too but they weren't playing anything on them. The service was prompt and we got seated immediately when we came on a Monday. The bad: The blueberry lavender matcha was $8 and was too sweet. I don't think there was outside seating options. The burrito could have used more pico de gallo. It was a good burrito but not outstanding or something I'd order again. The interesting: They sell lots of drink options and lemonades from a different vendor (?) inside. They even had a mangonada!

I stopped by The Pan today on my day off with my mom, and everything we ordered was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. I had the Veggie Omelette, and it was absolutely loaded with fresh vegetables. Every bite tasted fresh, clean, and delicious. I also ordered a latte with the banana foam, and wow... that foam was nice! It was thick, creamy, and flavorful with banana flavor. I could have eaten the foam all by itself, but I mixed it into the latte with my straw. It added just the right touch of sweetness, although the banana flavor became a little more subtle once it was mixed in. My mom ordered the Veggie Omelette as well, along with the Banana Pancake as her specialty pancake. It was delicious! It was topped with fresh banana slices, walnuts, and a light dusting of powdered sugar. Such a great combination without being overly sweet. The real surprise of the visit was the fresh-made lemonade. I ordered the Paradise Lemonade with guava and passion fruit, and it was incredibly refreshing and full of flavor. It's the perfect summer drink, and I can honestly see myself stopping by just to grab one to go on a hot day. My mom tried the Havana Lemonade with strawberries. While she isn't usually a fan of tart drinks, she still enjoyed it. If you love strawberry lemonade, you'll definitely appreciate this one. It's such a fun and creative concept. Overall, we had a wonderful experience. Great food, refreshing drinks, and everything tasted fresh and thoughtfully made. I love the concept, and I'll definitely be back again soon!
The portions are decent for the price, and there are plenty of options on the menu - what more can you ask for out of a breakfast and brunch spot? We weren't big fans of the coffee, but otherwise enjoyed our waffle and classic breakfast burrito. I appreciated that the burrito wasn't overly greasy. The interior gave me sensory overload, but it's a considerable size and sufficiently spacious. We sat at a larger table in the back. Plenty of parking available in the lot outside of peak hours.
Got "The Lumberjack" ($20.00), Unlimited Toast ($3.00) and Coffee ($3.89). I would rate the meal as just Okay. Definitely quality ingredients. The House Potatoes that were crispy were enjoyable. The non-crispy ones reminded me of eating a baked potato with skin. One of the pancakes was a little too thick (see my picture). So instead of a light texture, the pancake was a little more dense. The coffee tasted like a dark roast. Service was courteous. I went when they just opened so parking was not an issue.
Finally stopped by The Pan for late-morning brunch after driving past this spot every time since it opened. The space is bright and welcoming, with a casual atmosphere. I thought it would be bigger, looking from the outside. The menu is full of different dishes: I tried the French toast with eggs and bacon. For my drink I got lemonade which I'm not a fan of but I know people would love it. Service was friendly, and though the place was busy, I got seated right away The only reason I took off a star is that some items felt a little pricey and the quantity of the eggs were not worth the price in my opinion. I'd still absolutely return, especially for the pancakes Would I recommend? Yeah -- if you're in Torrance and craving brunch done well with a laid-back vibe, The Pan is an option.
Top of a Monday morning/breakfast service was great! Spacious. So many options for food & drinks! Delicious & great portion size! Will definitely go back!
YUM! I love the Pan! Their food is always delicious no matter what I choose on the menu. The serving sizes are always good enough to share too, which I love! I always get the Buttermilk Fried Chicken because I really love how it pairs with their corncake & roasted red pepper cream gravy. The original loaded hashbrown is seriously one of the best Ive ever had. I'm not usually a big fan of hashbrowns but they make it so delicious because of how crispy and flavorful it is. The Cinnamon roll pancakes were okay, I feel like its missing something, but its still good! Service is always amazing. I love this specific location the most because of its layout. Can't wait to come here again soon.
First and last time coming to The Pan. We waited about 35 minutes to be seated, which was already frustrating. Once we were finally seated, our experience didn't improve. One of the orange juices was brought out in a dirty cup. When we pointed it out, they brought a clean cup, but with noticeably less juice. To make matters worse, the orange juice wasn't good anyway. The food itself was decent. The French toast was probably the best part of the meal and was enjoyable. Unfortunately, the service and billing issues overshadowed the food. What really upset us was the bill. We were charged a 20% large party gratuity, even though there were only four people in our group. No one informed us of this charge beforehand, and it added about $30 to our bill. Then, when checking out, the payment screen still prompted us to leave an additional tip. The lack of transparency regarding the automatic gratuity was disappointing. Between the long wait, dirty cup, poor orange juice, and surprise service charge, this was not a great experience. We won't be returning.

I overheard someone saying the waiter recommend the hashbrowns and they were not disappointed. I got a mixture of things to split with my friends, but the breakfast burrito and banana pancakes stood out. For the breakfast burrito, I did take out the eggs and added avocado. Everything was a hit and was tasting very fresh. I'd come back!
This location is wonderful! Good size seating area, with both tables and half booths available. Everything was cleaned and nicely set up. The staff was very kind and Abby was an absolute pleasure! While she wasn't our waitress, she did come by and helped us with some great food recommendations. I had the Short Rib Benedict and OMG! It was so delicious! She also recommended the Guava and cream pancakes, which were super yummy. Not too sweet while still keeping the pancakes nice and fluffy. Lastly we stared with an order of Chili Cheese fries that were very good. I would have it all again.
The food was flavorful (as always). First time trying this and it didn't disappoint. Savory waffle, moist chicken breast, and a sweet blackberry spread. A great combination together. Clean establishment and nice greeter at the door. ONLY NEGATIVE: The waitress (with the big gold glasses) had a passive aggressive attitude my entire visit. She never refilled my drink, took my menu while I was still reading it, was combative when asked for substituting options, and charged my party for a side of maple syrup without giving us any indication there was a charge. When asked about this, she was non apologetic and seemed to be bothered that we said something about the charge. Needless to say, she wasn't the best waitress.
We had a great lunch today at the Pan! I have been to other locations, but this was my first time at this smaller one. We had no trouble finding parking or a table. Aurora took great care of us! I had the outstanding horchata - big enough to share! My companions and I each got the superb chicken and waffles, which simply can't be beat. A little sweet, a little savory - the fried chicken breast is tender, crispy, crunchy perfection. We'll be back! read more

Lesson number one is go early or make a waitlist early as this place gets packed crazy especially on weekends! My friend and I went here last week and the wait was crazy but I wanted to try the place. Ordered a side of blueberry waffle which I was a bit disappointed since it was a waffle with touch of blueberry jam for me is what it was. I had the meat lover omelet which was tasty. My friend had the eggs benefit which was ok for her. It was ok, not bad or great. Staff was nice. Another round will be good! read more

I'm pretty sure I've reviewed The Pan before -- I've dined in, picked up, and once again this past Sunday, I placed a pickup order. I went with the Lumberjack, which comes with two pancakes, two slices of bacon, two pieces of sausage, and your choice of hashbrowns or house potatoes. I opted for all bacon and requested that it be crispy, along with crispy hashbrowns. And let me tell you -- they nailed it. The bacon was perfectly crispy, and it made me so happy. Even my toddler was in bliss! Pickup time was quoted at 20 minutes, and while it was running a little behind, I'm assuming they were just busy. From my experience, it's best to arrive about 5-10 minutes after the quoted time. I believe the quoted time is generated by Yelp, not the restaurant itself, so a little grace goes a long way. That said, a perfect order makes it all worth it! I've attached some photos along with the menu and hours of operation. I absolutely love The Pan in Torrance -- they've never let me down. The food is consistently delicious. And really, who doesn't love crispy hashbrowns, bacon, and fluffy, perfect pancakes? Definitely check them out! read more

I've been visiting different locations of this breakfast spot, and this one stands out as having the best atmosphere in our neighborhood. At many brunch restaurants, you can sometimes sense when the basics -- like pancakes or French toast -- aren't given the attention they deserve. They may look appealing on the menu but feel rushed or underwhelming when served. Here, however, the fundamentals are done right. There's care in the texture, balance, and execution, and that consistency makes all the difference. Weekend mornings often find us slightly sleepy and very hungry, searching for somewhere comforting to begin the day. What we want is warmth and familiarity -- something that feels almost as cozy as staying in bed. And when the craving for sweet carbohydrates hits, we're not looking for restraint. We're looking for soft, fluffy, fully satisfying bites. If that's what you're after, this location delivers. You'll likely leave in a better mood than when you arrived. read more

I always love coming to The Pan. I usually frequent the Gardena location, it was my first time at The Pan Torrance. I really loved this location as it seemed quite bigger than the Gardena ones. Food was amazing! We ordered the Chilaquiles, a waffle with all the fixings, Cinnamon Roll pancakes, Short Rib Benedict, and the Shrimp and Grits. All so delicious! Abby, who is the manager, was awesome! She was attentive and checked up on my group often. It was my family's first time at The Pan and they want to go back already! read more

First, the place is clean and service was prompt. Breakfast came out less than 5 min after I ordered. I tried the loaded hash browns. It was very tasty. I was asked how I wanted my eggs for this dish and requested over easy. I got scrambled. I also tried the short rib benedict. The corn cakes looks more like pancakes and got super soggy. I was hoping the corn cake would be more substantial. Eggs were supposed to be poached but yolk was not runny. Food was tasty but a bit underwhelming. I may go back as they did have a nice menu selection. read more
Everything was a banger! I will say it's pretty big and o think you could get a few things and share with a large group. None of us finished anything and we all ended up sharing. The drinks were nonalcoholic but still yummy and the perfect amount of sweetness. They give it in a huge mason jar too So you have enough to drink throughout the meal! read more
First off if you think you know a good pancake, you're wrong. The banana pancake was off the charts. If you come here for anything else, go ahead and do yourself a favor and get 1 specialty pancake as well. We got the classic breakfast burrito and the hash scramble as well. Such a great spot and easy for breakfast. We were a party of 2 but lots of large tables with families too. The staff is friendly and attentive which obviously makes the entire experience from great to exceptional! read more
Wow I've heard great things before about this place but this blew us away. Came by late Sunday morning and it was packed. They put us on a waitlist and we waited about ten minutes for a table. The inside is modern and cozy, buzzing with noise from the place being packed. We sat at one of the turquoise booths (love) and were promptly helped. The menu is large and filled with delicious breakfast options. I wish i was craving something sweet, all of their pancakes and crepes sounded divine. Everything seemed to have a special touch with the ingredients to make it unique. I ordered the short rib benedict which was out of this world. Instead of an english muffin, it sat at on a corn cake with creme corn, poblano cream sauce, poached egg, and barbacoa. It was so tender and had a great combination of flavors. Seriously pleasantly surprised by everything here My husband got the chilaquiles which were plated beautifully. The green salsa was the perfect flavor and the chorizo had that authentic taste. We also ordered a small cheese pizza from the kids menu which was perfect size for our little. 10/10 no notes, we will be back again soon to try more stuff read more
Worth the wait! I've tried eating here before and the line was too long. This time I waited the 25 mins and was not disappointed. Food was fairly quick to come out. Flavors were on point! I enjoyed the Short Rib Benedict a lot. The texture was perfect. The shrimp n grits had a load of good flavors too, but could've been too mushy too eat a full plate of. The left overs of the shrimp n grits still hit though. I'll be back to try some different plates. read more

Food is typical of The Pan..visited the one in Gardena, CA 1-2 times? Visited this one more than a month or two ago. I think we got too much..maybe the server could've suggested a better selection from our actual order. We had too many hashbrowns. We just wanted the waffles, eggs, pancake, n hashbrowns. Maybe 2 orders and then A La Carte was better? Also, we waited more than 5 minutes to even get our drink orders in...I know that we were in a rush to eat as we had my 2nd sons soccer game right after the first son's game that we just came from directly. Usually, servers should be addressing or at least visit the table within 2 mins to introduce and just get a drink order. I had to ask for a coffee refill and by that time, I had to go so just asked for a To go cup. Atmosphere is typical of The Pans...this day wasn't too busy. read more

Second visit to The Pan across the street from Torrance Airport. Had the Chorizo scramble. Absolutely delicious. Our waitress Aurora was so friendly and welcoming. My friend got the meat lovers scramble. We're very lucky to have a place like this nearby. read more

15 min wait on a Sunday at 1pm. Fairly busy inside but not packed. There was a parking spot right out front for us as we pulled in, and the plaza had plenty of parking. We got a stuffed French toast with cream cheese and strawberries and strawberry syrup as an appetizer to share. It was pretty good, and I'm not much of a French toast person. 3.75/5 We also had the following: The original loaded hashbrowns Country breakfast The classic breakfast burrito The Southern All were good. Decided to check out The Pan last Saturday at around 11:30, there was only a 15 minute wait for a party of 2 despite the restaurant being pretty packed. It was nice to see that both breakfast and lunch are served all day so you don't have to pick one or the other! My partner ordered the crab cake Benedict and said they were delicious. I was really craving a breakfast burrito, so I ordered the classic breakfast burrito and subbed the meat (sausage, bacon) for avocado and our server was happy to accommodate which you don't always find! We also ordered a side of the fresh fruit and one of the tiramisu pancakes to share. The tiramisu pancake was amazing and I'd definitely get it again. Overall, was a great brunch! read more
Not my longest, nor most helpful review but I have to say the Chicken N Waffles here is AMAZING. Definitely one of the best I've had, as both were crispy, with a perfect mix of sweet and savory. Also, came on a Friday morning and service was fast, attentive and excellent. I will definitely be back. read more

Came to the Torrance location for the first time since the Garden location always has such a long line. Decided to try brunch here and I'm so glad I did! The space is bright and open -- really relaxing and welcoming. It has a nice, laid-back SoCal vibe that makes you want to linger a little longer. I had the fish and chips, which were perfectly crispy, and the clam chowder was full of clams but not too heavy -- just right. Everything was super flavorful and fresh. Highly recommend this spot if you're looking for a chill brunch spot with great food and good energy. Will definitely be back! read more

Came here to have Lunch with a friend and so glad we did, I've had breakfast here before but not from their lunch menu and I got their crunchy tacos with chicken and rice and beans on the side and it was delicious! Love that's their food is not fast food but made to order and you can clearly see that when your food comes out. Fresh ingredients and reminded me of my mom's food. I devoured my tacos and appreciated the nice presentation and wasn't sloppy. Their service was great they were pretty busy but our server always checking in on us if we needed anything else. This Pan location is a bit smaller than the others I've been too but love the decor and what they've done with the space so you can come have a meal with friends or family. Can't wait to be back. They do share parking with the other shops in the area so parking can be a bit tight but that's wasn't the case for us we found parking right away. read more
