DILLY D HOW DO YOU DOOOOOOO??? i been on the grind to find a solid burger spot in the south bay and decided to check out Dilly D. my goodness. this spot was soooo solid. there is a good amount of seasoning and although the burger is on the heavier side (would love to see more veggies balance out the burger) the pickles did it justice by adding the acidity needed. the buns were toasted to perfection with a slight crunch on the outside while the fluffiness of the inside was not compromised. a grading item i am always harsh with are the sides. you can have a perfect burger but if the sides don't hit, the spot don't hit. Dilly D on the other hand? great sides! the fries have a great batter, smooth and soft insides, and perfect amount of seasoning. you can't skip the fries BUT the onion rings are also a MUST GRAB. service was good, nothing above and beyond, but everything i needed was provided. the restaurant was kept clean and the bathroom being minty is typically a reflection of how kitchens are maintained, so no issues there. the space is family friendly and can easily accommodate larger parties. my only knock is that the food felt slightly too heavy/oily but thats personal preference, right? anyways, if you're in the south bay, i recommend Dilly D as a solid burger spot. enjoy!

I ordered the bacon avocado Wagyu burger with a cup of chili on the side. The burger was excellent. The Wagyu patty was juicy and flavorful, and the bacon and avocado added the perfect balance of smoky and creamy. Everything came together really well, and the bun held it all without falling apart halfway through. The cup of chili on the side was a great addition. Thick, hearty, and full of flavor. It felt like real comfort food and paired perfectly with the burger. The spot has a relaxed neighborhood feel, and the staff was friendly and welcoming. Service was quick and the food came out hot and fresh. Definitely a place I'd come back to when I'm craving a really solid burger.

The food was honestly just okay, nothing bad, but nothing that really stood out either. It did the job, but I probably wouldn't go out of my way for it again based on the food alone. On top of that, it felt a bit overpriced for the quality, which made it a little harder to justify. That said, the service was great. Staff was friendly, attentive, and made the experience enjoyable. The restaurant itself is also really nice clean, well-kept, and has a modern, inviting vibe, which definitely makes a difference. Overall, a decent option if you're already at the mall and need a place to eat, especially since the atmosphere and service are strong, just don't expect anything too memorable food-wise, especially for the price.

Cute place. Has a lot of menu options. We tried the cheeseburgers and chili cheese fries. Chili cheese fries were good. Cheeseburgers were also tasty but def noticed there was more bread than meat. They charge for ranch or any sauces besides ketchup. Not the best burger but def a good option and addition to the plaza. Would like to try their chicken and other menu items.

    Fries were good. Not great.

My daughter brought up that she found this place on Tik tok as it was near where we live. But also because their Oreo shake apparently went viral. To satisfy her cravings, we gave it a shot. We came in on their grand opening weekend so it was busy as expected. To beat the crowd. We ordered online ahead of time, which worked! We ordered the Oreo shake (10/10), the chili cheese fries (7/10), the veggie burger (6/10) according to my daughter, and I had the double smash burger (7/10). Really wanted to like the food, but it was just slightly better than ok. I'd probably come back in the future, but nothing making me want to run back.

Dilly D is a superb casual dining concept. Tucked into a strip mall in Palos Verdes, Dilly D was by far the most popular restaurant there - and for good reason. What we ordered for the table: 1. Two double burgers, rare - excellent satisfying burger verryyyy similar to in 'n' out's burger, but with superior ingredients. 2. zucchini fries - crispy and delicious with ranch. 3. Teriyaki chicken tenders - supremely fried, Korean fried chicken style. Tender and flavorful. We both gushed over this order. 4. Grilled cheese - a classic choice, only because the onion rings were sold out that Sunday afternoon. It's clean and efficiently staffed inside. Great choice for a causal dining option in the PV area.

Came on Saturday night, got a cheeseburger, smash burger, fries, Nashville fries with cheese sauce, & soda (less than $40) The burger was fresh & seasoned well. The smash burger was seasoned well too but a lot smaller than expected, it was a little underwhelming. Luckily my partner isn't a hardy eater. Our coke soda was also very flat & not carbonated. I really liked the Nashville fries with cheese sauce! It was sweet with a little kick of spice We waited about 40 minutes to order & get our food. The line was out the door so plan accordingly if you're hungry

I tried Dilly D and was honestly surprised at how good it was -- especially for the price. First off, the staff was really nice and welcoming, which always makes a difference in the overall experience. I don't eat beef, so I ordered the turkey burger, and unfortunately that was the only disappointing part of the meal. It was lacking seasoning, you have to request cheese (it doesn't automatically come with it), and the bun was a bit crumbly. It just didn't have much flavor overall. That said, the sides and other items really made up for it. The wings are a must-try -- super flavorful. The curly fries and onion rings were also really good. The chicken tenders were solid too -- they honestly tasted like McDonald's chicken nuggets in the best nostalgic way. The Wagyu burgers looked way better than the turkey burger, and it seemed like they may even use a different bun for those. If you eat beef, that's probably the way to go. Overall, this place is very affordable and definitely worth the money if you're in the South Bay. I'd come back -- I'd just order differently next time.

If you are looking to dine in I wouldn't come during the weekend, place gets really busy and seating is limited. I went with a regular wagu double western cheeseburger and the patties are pretty small, I can only imagine what a smash burger looks like. Burger was mid, onion rings were good, & wasn't a big fan of the fries. Staff were very friendly and they get your order out pretty quickly considering how busy it gets.

1- Exec summary: good burger option in the promenade. Location: I'm glad to see more restaurants open in the promenade. We need more food choices 2 Food: The burgers are a bit small, so order the double burgers The curly fries were quite good. I'd order them over the regular fries 3 Counter service. Order and pick up - which always makes me wonder why they ask for tips if they aren't bringing you food, at least. 4- ambiance Sort of an upscale quick service restaurant- with their own Merchandise. Not sure why, but the counter tops remind me of cold stone - wasn't that the previous occupant ? High ceilings result in some interesting sound effects I hope they do well and thrive.

Dilly D's is located inside the PV Promenade, making it a convenient stop if you're already shopping or hanging out in the area. The location is easy to find, on the 1st level and parking is stress-free with plenty of spots available in the promenade parking lot. The ambiance is casual and relaxed - like a small diner, where you order up at the front and find your own seating in the inside or outside patio area. They have sandwiches, wraps, fried chicken, wagyu burgers, salads, Kids meals, Italian cream sodas, desserts, slushies, ice blended drinks, ice cream shakes, fruit smoothies, as well as matcha and coffee. There's also a good selection of sauces and side dishes to choose from. They also serve breakfast all day on Saturday and Sundays. We ended up ordering the Western Bacon wagyu burger ($11) with zucchini fries ($6), the Smash cheeseburger ($8) as a meal (comes with fries & drink for additional $6), and the Kids chicken nuggets which comes with fries or fruit and a drink ($8). The Western bacon burger really tasted a lot like the Western bacon at Carl's Junior - so it was good, considering I like the Western bacon there. My daughter really enjoyed the chicken nuggets and was happy that they had an option for fruit instead of fries (since she loves fruits). The zucchini fries were also good, but on the smaller size (compared to Fantastic's). I also ordered an Iced Matcha with almond milk, which was actually really good if you want a simple matcha drink that is not sweet. The only negative about the place is that they don't have fountain drinks, so you have to wait till they go pour the drinks for you. I also don't know if there's refills available. Overall, it's a great option when you want something fast, good, and easy while spending time at the PV Promenade. I'm so happy that there's now a good quality place to pick up fast food from within this mall.

visited dilly d's over the wknd. they recently opened at the promenade in PV. it was pretty busy for a wknd evening, which is great to see. ordered: Western Bacon Smash Cheeseburger Nashville Fries + Cheese Dip Cookies n Cream Ice Cream Shake the burgers were good - 8/10 i loved the nashville fries with the cheese sauce 10/10, the fries were dusted with cayenne pepper or paprika and some other seasoning, idk but it was delish. the shake also, 10/10. def will be back to try out a few other items and to also try their breakfast burritos! i wanted to order the onion rings but the guy said they were running out and did not even have enough for one order.. great quick family friendly restaurant. seating inside and out. bathrooms are avail inside. parking: structure/garage. plenty of free parking.

My wife and wanted to try Dilly D as we like a sandwich and a smash burger, so we saw that this had just opened and wanted to give it a shot. We met up with our friends and their kids. We were able to be seated together as they have long tables. Service was great and quick. The burger was ok I wish they had roasted the jalapeños to bring out some of that jalapeño flavor more but it was all good. My wife ordered the tuna melt and we love tuna melts! But this didn't make our taste buds scream with joy instead it was dry the bread was great but the tuna filling not great, could use some work on keeping the tuna moist and savory. The wings were good I got the sauces on the side. This place is located in the PV mall on the first floor. You should park in the lower lot by the Starbucks.
