Came to the movies with friends an decided to give this place a go after hearing so many good things about their wings and smash burgers and shakes. The vibe here is pretty chill it has its times where it does get pretty full but the line flows and you get your food within 10 min or so that was our case. I was able to put two tables together so we can sit our group. As the food came out it was fresh and smelled delicious. I got their double Smash burger just cause they had said the patties run a bit small and they are thin. We also got their chicken sandwich with coleslaw and that was delicious. The burger was ok nothing special that stood out to me but was good (I've had better) I also ordered some onion rings and the first one dipped in their ranch was good but then they got cold and kinda hard that they weren't enjoyable. The had a good crunch but was just ok. Their wings on the other side were delicious! They have their fountain drinks that you can re fill and that was great just every time you have to get up and ask them and there was a small line for that. I get why they don't put it outside cause people take advantage. Their customer service was great, very friendly and love that they have young ones working cause it was Go GO GO. Would i come back? The good: I tried the Korean chicken wings, a spicy Nashville chicken sandwich, fries, zucchini fries, an Arnold Palmer and 20 chicken nuggets. This is a great addition to the plaza. It's kid-friendly and offers a lot of American-style foods. I liked that you got a buzzer and you could walk around while waiting for your food. They have indoor and outdoor seating options. They sell fun drinks like milkshakes and matcha. I liked the brioche bun and the coleslaw that came with the sandwich. The coleslaw wasn't overly sweet or too heavy in mayo. My kids had fun climbing the green bump/hill outside of this space and we enjoyed our food near that. The bad: The chicken sandwich was very sweet and buttery-like the way Korean fried chicken wings are. I think it could've used more heat and less sweetness. DILLY D HOW DO YOU DOOOOOOO??? i been on the grind to find a solid burger spot in the south bay and decided to check out Dilly D. my goodness. this spot was soooo solid. there is a good amount of seasoning and although the burger is on the heavier side (would love to see more veggies balance out the burger) the pickles did it justice by adding the acidity needed. the buns were toasted to perfection with a slight crunch on the outside while the fluffiness of the inside was not compromised. a grading item i am always harsh with are the sides. you can have a perfect burger but if the sides don't hit, the spot don't hit. Dilly D on the other hand? great sides! the fries have a great batter, smooth and soft insides, and perfect amount of seasoning. you can't skip the fries BUT the onion rings are also a MUST GRAB. service was good, nothing above and beyond, but everything i needed was provided. the restaurant was kept clean and the bathroom being minty is typically a reflection of how kitchens are maintained, so no issues there. the space is family friendly and can easily accommodate larger parties. my only knock is that the food felt slightly too heavy/oily but thats personal preference, right? anyways, if you're in the south bay, i recommend Dilly D as a solid burger spot. enjoy! read more

I tried Dilly D and was honestly surprised at how good it was -- especially for the price. First off, the staff was really nice and welcoming, which always makes a difference in the overall experience. I don't eat beef, so I ordered the turkey burger, and unfortunately that was the only disappointing part of the meal. It was lacking seasoning, you have to request cheese (it doesn't automatically come with it), and the bun was a bit crumbly. It just didn't have much flavor overall. That said, the sides and other items really made up for it. The wings are a must-try -- super flavorful. The curly fries and onion rings were also really good. The chicken tenders were solid too -- they honestly tasted like McDonald's chicken nuggets in the best nostalgic way. The Wagyu burgers looked way better than the turkey burger, and it seemed like they may even use a different bun for those. If you eat beef, that's probably the way to go. The location is easy to find, on the 1st level and parking is stress-free with plenty of spots available in the promenade parking lot. The ambiance is casual and relaxed - like a small diner, where you order up at the front and find your own seating in the inside or outside patio area. They have sandwiches, wraps, fried chicken, wagyu burgers, salads, Kids meals, Italian cream sodas, desserts, slushies, ice blended drinks, ice cream shakes, fruit smoothies, as well as matcha and coffee. There's also a good selection of sauces and side dishes to choose from. They also serve breakfast all day on Saturday and Sundays. We ended up ordering the Western Bacon wagyu burger ($11) with zucchini fries ($6), the Smash cheeseburger ($8) as a meal (comes with fries & drink for additional $6), and the Kids chicken nuggets which comes with fries or fruit and a drink ($8). The Western bacon burger really tasted a lot like the Western bacon at Carl's Junior - so it was good, considering I like the Western bacon there. My daughter really enjoyed the chicken nuggets and was happy that they had an option for fruit instead of fries (since she loves fruits). The zucchini fries were also good, but on the smaller size (compared to Fantastic's). I also ordered an Iced Matcha with almond milk, which was actually really good if you want a simple matcha drink that is not sweet. The only negative about the place is that they don't have fountain drinks, so you have to wait till they go pour the drinks for you. I also don't know if there's refills available. Overall, it's a great option when you want something fast, good, and easy while spending time at the PV Promenade. My wife and wanted to try Dilly D as we like a sandwich and a smash burger, so we saw that this had just opened and wanted to give it a shot. We met up with our friends and their kids. We were able to be seated together as they have long tables. Service was great and quick. The burger was ok I wish they had roasted the jalapeños to bring out some of that jalapeño flavor more but it was all good. My wife ordered the tuna melt and we love tuna melts! But this didn't make our taste buds scream with joy instead it was dry the bread was great but the tuna filling not great, could use some work on keeping the tuna moist and savory. I came in on day 2 after their opening. Immediately I loved the open layout and the staff was so upbeat and friendly. I had heard from others who even ate lunch AND dinner here on their first day open how it was really good. They are meat lovers like me so I decided to give it a try. When I saw the menu I was surprised they had wagyu beef protein plus other selections like turkey and a spicy chicken sandwich. All sounded delicious but we had just had steak the night before so I got the spicy chicken sandwich and my husband got the turkey burger. Plus I was curious about their wings so we grabbed an order with buffalo sauce. So with the first bite of each item, we looked at each other and nodded with acknowledgment that we both were so impressed by the quality, perfect flavor and excellent make up of each sandwich. While the burgers are not huge, they are super satisfying and so were the wings. Breakfast fine print: Saturday and Sunday, that's a flaw for this location. I came in at 11:40 on a Thursday, they had 2 ppl waiting for their food and playing Never be the same at a medium loudness. They have about 40 seats (4 tops, and 6 tops). The burger is really great! The lettuce is about 50% more than you would get anywhere else and 2 slices of tomato. Their curl fires are wha you'd expect and crispy not soggy. Their curl price was about $18 for both. I think it's a good value and good for this location. read more

So tried Dilly Ds a week after it opened. Tired their double smash burger and the more traditional cheeseburger. The smash burger was truly smashed paper thin so a double is a must. The original cheeseburger was a single but was about the same thickness as a smash burger but without wide spread. Likes the crispy edges of the smash burger but for $11 not very substantial. The regular cheeseburger had some nice fresh ingredients but the burger was paper thin so for $8.50 not a very good value. Had the fries which came with some sort of Cajun seasoning which was ok but they are very thin fries which don't hold the heat and were only warm when they arrived. Onion rings were ok but small offering and nothing special. Place seems to be well staffed at least for what was a busy Saturday. The area could use this burger joint since the sad loss of Rubys. This mall remains a shit show especially when you see how well the center nearby is thriving. Did not try the chicken sandwich or other offerings. Will probably try again but a burger and fries at Good Stuff or the Habit are better. Don't think the drinks get refilled either. Not sure. Hope they make it. Might try a breakfast burrito on the weekend. It's a generous 4 stars and prices should be 20% less. read more

We got: Double Smash Burger, Bacon Avocado Burger, Nashville Fries, Wings and chili cheese fries. The double smash burger was definitely my favorite. Just very nicely done with great texture and flavor. The nashville fries with the cheese sauce for dipping was also really good. Wifey loved the avocado burger, and it had a good amount of veggies to balance things out. My daughter loved the chili cheese fries and she paired it with here strawberry shake. The wings also should be mentioned, they were great. Had a really good kick, maybe too spicy for some, but it was just right for me.
