Got the Breakfast Burrito (no protein) and an order of Tator Tots. Everything was really good. The Tator Tots were crispy. Good flour tortilla. The eggs were fluffy. The cheese had a little bit of gooeyness. The burrito comes with a small container of sour cream, Chipotle Aioli and Louisiana Hot. Service was very friendly and prompt. Dining is available both inside and outside. DD is located in the Promenade PV, so no issues with parking.

DILLY D HOW DO YOU DOOOOOOO??? i been on the grind to find a solid burger spot in the south bay and decided to check out Dilly D. my goodness. this spot was soooo solid. there is a good amount of seasoning and although the burger is on the heavier side (would love to see more veggies balance out the burger) the pickles did it justice by adding the acidity needed. the buns were toasted to perfection with a slight crunch on the outside while the fluffiness of the inside was not compromised. a grading item i am always harsh with are the sides. you can have a perfect burger but if the sides don't hit, the spot don't hit. Dilly D on the other hand? great sides! the fries have a great batter, smooth and soft insides, and perfect amount of seasoning. you can't skip the fries BUT the onion rings are also a MUST GRAB. service was good, nothing above and beyond, but everything i needed was provided. the restaurant was kept clean and the bathroom being minty is typically a reflection of how kitchens are maintained, so no issues there. the space is family friendly and can easily accommodate larger parties. my only knock is that the food felt slightly too heavy/oily but thats personal preference, right? anyways, if you're in the south bay, i recommend Dilly D as a solid burger spot. enjoy!

I ordered a double turkey burger off menu. Replaced the sauce and added Chipotle aioli. It was absolutely amazing. The produce items on the double turkey burger were cold and fresh. The brioche buns were toasted. You can't find anything better.

I ordered the bacon avocado Wagyu burger with a cup of chili on the side. The burger was excellent. The Wagyu patty was juicy and flavorful, and the bacon and avocado added the perfect balance of smoky and creamy. Everything came together really well, and the bun held it all without falling apart halfway through. The cup of chili on the side was a great addition. Thick, hearty, and full of flavor. It felt like real comfort food and paired perfectly with the burger. The spot has a relaxed neighborhood feel, and the staff was friendly and welcoming. Service was quick and the food came out hot and fresh. Definitely a place I'd come back to when I'm craving a really solid burger.

Great little burger spot that opened in the mall, known for smash burgers. I got the burger, fries and the Oreo shake and all were delicious but my favorite was the shake. So many good Oreo chunks in it, a must!

Cute place. Has a lot of menu options. We tried the cheeseburgers and chili cheese fries. Chili cheese fries were good. Cheeseburgers were also tasty but def noticed there was more bread than meat. They charge for ranch or any sauces besides ketchup. Not the best burger but def a good option and addition to the plaza. Would like to try their chicken and other menu items.

The food was honestly just okay, nothing bad, but nothing that really stood out either. It did the job, but I probably wouldn't go out of my way for it again based on the food alone. On top of that, it felt a bit overpriced for the quality, which made it a little harder to justify. That said, the service was great. Staff was friendly, attentive, and made the experience enjoyable. The restaurant itself is also really nice clean, well-kept, and has a modern, inviting vibe, which definitely makes a difference. Overall, a decent option if you're already at the mall and need a place to eat, especially since the atmosphere and service are strong, just don't expect anything too memorable food-wise, especially for the price.

    Fries were good. Not great.

My daughter brought up that she found this place on Tik tok as it was near where we live. But also because their Oreo shake apparently went viral. To satisfy her cravings, we gave it a shot. We came in on their grand opening weekend so it was busy as expected. To beat the crowd. We ordered online ahead of time, which worked! We ordered the Oreo shake (10/10), the chili cheese fries (7/10), the veggie burger (6/10) according to my daughter, and I had the double smash burger (7/10). Really wanted to like the food, but it was just slightly better than ok. I'd probably come back in the future, but nothing making me want to run back.

Love the variety of choices here, there is something on the menu for everyone! From salads to burgers to chicken. This is a casual, quick place to eat. I'd recommend getting the wings plain with sauce on the side so they stay crispy.

Dilly D is a superb casual dining concept. Tucked into a strip mall in Palos Verdes, Dilly D was by far the most popular restaurant there - and for good reason. What we ordered for the table: 1. Two double burgers, rare - excellent satisfying burger verryyyy similar to in 'n' out's burger, but with superior ingredients. 2. zucchini fries - crispy and delicious with ranch. 3. Teriyaki chicken tenders - supremely fried, Korean fried chicken style. Tender and flavorful. We both gushed over this order. 4. Grilled cheese - a classic choice, only because the onion rings were sold out that Sunday afternoon. It's clean and efficiently staffed inside. Great choice for a causal dining option in the PV area.

Came on Saturday night, got a cheeseburger, smash burger, fries, Nashville fries with cheese sauce, & soda (less than $40) The burger was fresh & seasoned well. The smash burger was seasoned well too but a lot smaller than expected, it was a little underwhelming. Luckily my partner isn't a hardy eater. Our coke soda was also very flat & not carbonated. I really liked the Nashville fries with cheese sauce! It was sweet with a little kick of spice We waited about 40 minutes to order & get our food. The line was out the door so plan accordingly if you're hungry

I tried Dilly D and was honestly surprised at how good it was -- especially for the price. First off, the staff was really nice and welcoming, which always makes a difference in the overall experience. I don't eat beef, so I ordered the turkey burger, and unfortunately that was the only disappointing part of the meal. It was lacking seasoning, you have to request cheese (it doesn't automatically come with it), and the bun was a bit crumbly. It just didn't have much flavor overall. That said, the sides and other items really made up for it. The wings are a must-try -- super flavorful. The curly fries and onion rings were also really good. The chicken tenders were solid too -- they honestly tasted like McDonald's chicken nuggets in the best nostalgic way. The Wagyu burgers looked way better than the turkey burger, and it seemed like they may even use a different bun for those. If you eat beef, that's probably the way to go. Overall, this place is very affordable and definitely worth the money if you're in the South Bay. I'd come back -- I'd just order differently next time.

If you are looking to dine in I wouldn't come during the weekend, place gets really busy and seating is limited. I went with a regular wagu double western cheeseburger and the patties are pretty small, I can only imagine what a smash burger looks like. Burger was mid, onion rings were good, & wasn't a big fan of the fries. Staff were very friendly and they get your order out pretty quickly considering how busy it gets.

You order inside and pick up your food at the window outside, and the whale mural surrounding the pickup window is such a fun, memorable touch. There are a couple of benches outside if you want to eat there, although I noticed most people seemed to grab their food to go. The food was absolutely incredible. I ordered the Cash Burger, and it was packed with flavor. The burger was perfectly seasoned, cooked just right, and honestly one of the best burgers I've had in a long time. Even a simple burger here tastes like it was made with care. The truffle Parmesan fries were another standout--crispy, flavorful, and completely addictive. We also tried two dipping sauces: the habanero cream and the chipotle. Both were delicious and added a unique twist to the burger and fries, but the habanero cream was definitely my favorite. It's not often you find sauces that elevate an already great meal this much. My only suggestion would be to improve the outdoor seating area. The benches could use a little more attention, and having a better trash setup would make eating outside much more enjoyable. One thing that really sold me was my one-year-old. She absolutely devoured the burger! I usually have to work to get her to eat anything besides quesadillas, and even In-N-Out can be hit or miss with her, so that says a lot. Overall, I'm so glad we stopped here. Between the amazing food, fun atmosphere, and beach-town vibe, I'd happily go out of my way to come back. If you're anywhere nearby, don't miss this spot!

Earlier today my family and I came here for lunch. What a beautiful place to be at. I ordered the summer breeze cocktail and loved it on this hot summer day. Made with strawberry and lime. So good. The food was good to some dishes better than others. The chicken wings were delicious so was the pretzel. My boys got spicy chicken sandwich and liked it a lot. Breathtaking sunset views, but a special occasion completely ruined by hostile service…read more I came here to celebrate a very special day, and while Nelson's boasts one of the most stunning oceanfront views in LA, our experience was heavily tarnished by a completely unacceptable level of service from our specific server. First, the positives: The location is unmatched. Having dinner while watching the gorgeous sunset over the Pacific was unforgettable. The tall male host at the entrance was also wonderfully kind, professional, and set a great tone for the evening. As for the food, it was a bit of a mixed bag but mostly good. The burgers and tacos were flavorful and delicious. However, I would skip the Fried Calamari--it was almost entirely heavy batter, and it felt like there was barely any actual squid inside. Unfortunately, our dining experience took a sharp turn for the worst due to our female server. We were served our main courses before our salads or appetizers ever made it to the table, and we weren't even given any utensils to eat with. After waiting and searching for our server to no avail, I flagged down another staff member to ask for utensils and let them know about the missing appetizers. Shortly after, our server marched over to our table with an incredibly defensive and intimidating attitude, asking us if we had "complained" about her to another staff member. The hostile tone was shocking. To top it off, she forgot our drinks, and when we had to ask for them again, she gave us an exasperated, annoyed look. It is so disappointing when a beautiful, special occasion is ruined by someone's terrible attitude. While the scenery and most of the food were fantastic, management really needs to address the service standards here.

Wow Phanny. You did it again girl. WOW. 5 big booms all AROUND. There is no salsa needed. The flavor from the meat is enough. The perfect amount of saltiness, the perfect tortilla, the right amount of meat to egg ratio. This burrito did it for me. The added jalapeños add that extra spice and crunch. I love crunchy texture so the jalapeños def hit that need for me personally, and plus its a nice kick to it if you like spicy! Just do yourself a favor and try Phanny's out. Service was swift and kind. They are fully takeout only. I am unsure if this was a conversion after COVID or not, but it's a little sad to see you are not able to enjoy their breakfast burritos fresh and hot there. I believe there is only 1 outside bench seating off Avenue C. They do take apple pay, which I feel like they did not in the past. so no cash needed! There is a parking lot being the business off avenue C which is nice so you do not need to park on PCH or in the neighborhood to try to get to this business. I will def be coming back to Phanny's soon. The positives of this dish are that it was prepared well. Both the fish and chips tasted good. The presentation was also nice; which leads to the coleslaw: The coleslaw tasted good, too; but I was surprised the serving was so spare. It's almost as if it was served just to optically balance the presentation in the basket. We placed a $96 order through DoorDash and had confirmation that the order was paid for. My husband arrived at the scheduled pickup time, only to be told they had no order for us. Even though he had proof of the completed purchase, the way the situation was handled made it feel like they were insinuating that we must not have ordered or checked out correctly. I contacted DoorDash myself to cancel, and DoorDash actually called the restaurant. Suddenly, the restaurant confirmed they DID receive our order and said it must have been an issue with their Wi-Fi. DoorDash told us we could go back and pick it up, but my husband had already driven there once and been turned away. We weren't going to make another trip because of an issue on the restaurant's end. At that point, I felt the least they could have offered was to deliver the food themselves or make some effort to correct the situation. Instead, the order was canceled, and after waiting for dinner, our family ended up eating cereal. Mistakes and technical issues happen. What bothered us most was the customer service and how my husband was treated when he was standing there with proof that we had paid. A little kindness and willingness to problem-solve would have completely changed this experience. It's sad because we've supported this restaurant for a very long time, but after this experience, we'll be taking a break. I really hope they improve how situations like this are handled because longtime customers shouldn't leave feeling belittled over a mistake that wasn't theirs.

This was my first time visiting, and unfortunately it will also be my last. I ordered a drink that…read morethey were actually out of, but no one informed me until I went to check on the status of my order. If I hadn't asked for an update, I likely would have continued waiting without knowing. When I asked the barista in the grey shirt, in the coffee side, for an update, he gave me a snappy response. Customer service is clearly not his strength. The lack of communication and customer service was very disappointing. On top of that, once my order was finally ready, another customer ended up taking the bagel I ordered. The entire process felt extremely unorganized, and it's clear they have a terrible system for managing orders and communicating with customers. The only positive part of my experience was the girl behind the counter, who was friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, one kind employee couldn't make up for the overall poor service and disorganization. I won't be coming back. The food itself was flavorless and lacking. Avoid if you are looking to have a calm morning. Your cortisol will be spiked.
