I had the fried chicken sandwhich and it was tender, crispy and satisfying. My wife had the turkey burger and it was well seasoned and not dry. My son had the smash burger and it was more than enough for a growing teen! It was nice to have a selection of fried mozerella sticks, zuchini sticks and sweet potato fries with our meals. There's a vacuum for food on the hill. With Ruby's gone, and Good Stuff being fairly mediocre (or at least inconsistent) and NOT inexpensive, we could really use a good place to get a good burger. Dilly D is that place. The biggest issue I have, is that it's loud as hell in there. Not in a good way. If you're looking to have a quiet, hanging out with friends or family meal, this is not the place. Loud kids are going to sound not much less loud on the other side of the place because of the poor acoustics in there. But the burgers are fire. There are two burgers in the menu, a smashburger and a Wagyu. Do not be tempted by the Wagyu... it's fine, but the smash is excellent. The meat is good quality, the bun is good, the toppings are good. It's what you want. They have curly fries. Typically, I'm not a fan because I don't like coating or flavoring that comes from a bag to make the fries taste generic. This place is the exception. The service is fine. Essentially, it's a walk up counter, and they get the job done. We are a five minute drive from the mall, and the burgers still taste fine when you get them home. I like Dilly D because it is good, not because it fills a vacuum. I hope it's here for many years to come. read more

As promised I would revise the review after trying Dilly D again. Luckily, the fries came out not overly salty. I also ordered a club sandwich this time. The sandwich was very good. And the excellent Korean fried chicken. My only complaint now is for the long wait time. I ordered online to save some waiting time. But 20 minutes wait for the food to get ready is still not ideal for a fast food restaurant. I hope Dilly D can improve on their wait time next time I go. read more

Such a great addition to the Promenade! We stopped by on a Saturday evening with the family for wings, burgers, and shakes, and everything was absolutely delicious. The staffs were so nice and welcoming, which made the experience even better. We'll definitely be back again and again. It's awesome that the Hill is opening businesses in the dying promenade again. This place looked kinda kooky (the logo reminded me of another that I can't quite place with a boy wearing a cap; but I the menu is what got my attention. We were bored with trying just about every place for dinner so this was something new. We dropped in and the food was good, but the portions were rabbit sized and of course accounting for inflation, double the price. I know the tax rate is a little higher on the hill, but I don't think food is taxed (not 100% on that), but still, most places, including this one, seem to imply by portions that it's more of a "pop up" type of business that might not plan to sustain, at least in the PV area, which is a shame. Of course, businesses are struggling and the argument that "if you can't afford to eat out then dine in" is moot, considering the price of preparing a home cooked meal is about the same as eating out now and depending on the size of your family, it is spent quickly. I'm all for "luxury eating" meaning, the market seems to aim towards making dining out as an occasional treat $$ like it was back in the 80's but the price far outweighs the portions; this place has the air of the classic NY Pizza slice grab and go with minimal seating kind of vibe. Ordering was easy and quick; didn't take long to get served for a small family, but the portions were decent for kids about 6-11 years old, but that's about it. Total was about $80 for us which seems to be the standard everywhere unless you venture to a more "gastropub" type of restaurant. Yay for a new local spot in PV! We stopped in for the first time today and really enjoyed it. Our table ordered a fried chicken salad (well-portioned and satisfying), a turkey burger that looked fantastic, and a classic cheeseburger (not the smash version--though they do offer one). The cheeseburger was excellent: really flavorful meat and a bun with a nice light crunch that held everything together well. Service was a little on the slow side, but nothing unreasonable--and it seems like they're still getting their rhythm since they're newly open. The staff was friendly, the space was clean, and the overall experience was very positive. Always excited to support a new neighborhood spot, and we'll definitely be back to try more of the menu! Yum! Great burger place and their prices are very reasonable. Their burgers are about $9 and are delicious! They have a good selection from wraps, wings to burgers with fries. Friendly service - place your order at the front and they hand you a buzzer for when your food is ready. Free refills on drinks when you go to the counter. We checked out Dilly D at PV promenade, and I was definitely impressed. We tried a bunch of stuff kinda based on what we saw others eating when we got there. We got: Double Smash Burger, Bacon Avocado Burger, Nashville Fries, Wings and chili cheese fries. The double smash burger was definitely my favorite. Just very nicely done with great texture and flavor. The nashville fries with the cheese sauce for dipping was also really good. Wifey loved the avocado burger, and it had a good amount of veggies to balance things out. My daughter loved the chili cheese fries and she paired it with here strawberry shake. The wings also should be mentioned, they were great. Had a really good kick, maybe too spicy for some, but it was just right for me. I also got a Ice Matcha Cream top at the end to cap things off and wash it all down. Overall, really solid spot. We'll definitely be coming back. read more

I've been several times already as I'm at this mall 2-3x per week. It can take quite a while to get food, especially if even a little busy. Took more than 20 minutes on one occasion. The tables are often dirty. I'll give it another month or so to get into their groove and improve the service standard. My family and I have been here twice now since it opened. The restaurant is very clean and has a playful vibe. The service staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The smash burger was delicious. This was my first smash burger experience, and I will definitely get one again. The bun was perfect, the pickles were extra tasty, and the meat was quality. We also had the wings and chicken tenders. The wings had several sauce options but we went with the original which got positive reviews from our family's harshest food critic. The kids chicken tenders were large compared to most places and to me a represent a good value when considering the drink and side in the combo meal.
