Nice little lunch
Cecilia M.

Service was excellent from the appetizers to the entrees! We had a lovely lunch and our server did an excellent job. It's nice to sit outside and enjoy the afternoon.

Visiting from Houston and my Long Beach friend took us here for brunch! We had 2 drinks before our food came and I forgot to take pics of our main dishes...LOL!...because the beverage menu has some great selections. Definitely try the zucchini fries! The veggie scramble was delish, as was the chicken avocado burrito! Whether you sat on the patio or inside - all seats are perfect.

Grilled Fish Tacos

Breakfast/Brunch/Lunch menu is different than the dinner menu. Please check on the menu you look at. The restaurant had nice outdoor dining and does have inside dining as well. The service was okay, no real issue. The food was average. I had the fish tacos but didn't seem to have much flavor. More sauce or like lime wedges would have been great. The old fashioned I had was missing something.

Burger of the Month ($2 on Tuesday)

Fantastic service! I'd definitely go back for their Sweet Potato Balls- YUM! They also have a burger of the month which is $2 on Tuesdays- awesome deal. We sat outside along the side of the restaurant, cool spot to sit and hang out with friends. I'm so impressed with the service. In our section there were two large parties surrounding our four person table. Our table was regularly checked up on and not neglected.

Great little gem hidden in Redondo Beach. Nice crowd and delicious food. Lovely stuff, that is always here to help. We came in a small company, three of us had burgers and one person fish tacos and fries. Loved the food and overall vibes. Place is usually packed, so need to make a reservation or come early.

Tasty Ahi Salad ($22)

I like Rockefeller quite a bit...and my daughter freakin' loves it so when the kids were out after a half day at school today to start Winter Break, I chose to take them there for a special lunch. I believe the first time my wife and I went was right when things re-opened after the Pandemic. What's that, you ask in 2030 as you read this? Oh, well, it's a LOOOONG story. Naturally, back then, we sat on the patio to the right since we ALL had to sit outside at the time and...SOCIAL DISTANCE! When's the last time you heard those words?? Thank God, that's over. One plague every 100 years, right? I made a reservation easily on Opentable to sit OUTSIDE (and get the 100 points!) but this time it was because we had our pup with us. I docked just a star because we had to wait at the entrance to be seated for quite a bit; it was a little odd. I think they were understaffed which I can understand during the holidays when some (not me) 'might' call in sick to do last minute Hanukkah/Christmas/Kwanzaa shopping. I get it, though, and it wasn't too off-putting. It being the holidays, naturally, I ordered a 'Royal Holiday' ($14) with Empress 1908 Gin, pineapple juice, fresh lemon juice and coconut. This was a nice and very perty cocktail; just make sure to stir up the coconut at the bottom of the glass else you'll get some syrup at the end...the layered presentation is what they were going for and I appreciated the aesthetic not to mention the taste of the drink. The boy ordered a freshly made lemonade ($4) and seemed to enjoy it. My daughter has had the sweet potato bombs ($10) before and loved them but they did not have the 'tots' available today so we got sweet potato fries instead. They were prepared the same, curried with honey aioli dipping sauce and they were fantastic. She also ordered the Vegan Chopped Salad ($19) and added chicken ($8) which she had said was her favorite based on a prior visit with a friend. She adores this salad and ended up taking half home so I felt sorta 'okay' paying $27 for a salad...I did say, sorta...as long as she eats the leftovers! The boy ordered the Braised Short Rib Tacos ($18) in his typical fashion of going with the waiter's recommendation of the Truffle Mac & Cheese ($14) first but then changing his mind. 3 tacos come with the order as well as a side of black beans and guacamole. I had a bite of the short ribs with guac as well as the beans and they were delicious. Naturally, the boy loved them, too. Trying to be a little healthier (after sweet potato fries), I chose the Seared Ahi Salad ($22) with wonton strips, baby greens, shredded carrots, slivered almonds, green beans, lime crema, Sriracha, tossed in a sesame ginger vinaigrette. The boy had a bite of "just the ahi" as he requested and his first response was, "it's peppery!". He enjoyed it as did I but they should mention that the 5 pieces of beautifully deep red/almost purple or beet red slices were well coated in a finely dusted peppery mix. Some people might not appreciate the spice but I did. This was a good salad and the dressing was light and not overwhelming. I also took half home because I can't eat like I used to and the kids were requesting Yogurtland afterwards for dessert... I appreciated that the crema/Sriracha were on the edges of the bowl and only had a little bit of it preferring my fat intake to be the crispy wontons, nuts and dressing. I think $22 for this salad was also 'okay' but maybe they could have added another slice or two of ahi. After the bit of a wait to be seated at the beginning, our waiter, Stone, did a good job attending to us even if they were understaffed. He was friendly and helpful. The ambiance is great; it's a cool spot, for sure and the front deck where we were seated was a great spot to dine and watch the world go by. My kids only reached for their phones for a brief moment or two. LOL. There's a nifty fire pit in front, too. So, you're in the heart of Riviera Village, steps from the beach, I get that the prices are going to be a little higher, but really, kinda inline with other places not in that perfect location. Lunch for the three of us and my cocktail came to $104.26 including tax. What year am I living in?? I don't 'love' spending that kind of dough on lunch but it is what it is and I certainly don't fault Rockefeller for that. Now, I'll admit, if we had stayed until Happy Hour which is Monday-Friday, 3pm-6pm, I would have absolutely ordered another cocktail...or even had the kiddos starve and wait until then to order...lol. And hey, on Tuesdays, their 'Burgers of the Month' are an astoundingly cheap $2! For that alone, I will absolutely be back! And even not during Happy Hour at the girl's future demands for sweet potato bombs or fries and that chopped not-so-vegan salad with chicken....lol. RECOMMENDED!

Great service, so no complaints there at all. Super nice staff. Overall, I was disappointed with the burger. I'd heard rave reviews on how great Rockefeller burgers were and I say,"meh." I had the Rockefeller burger. $18. It was cooked a perfect medium rare. It looked fantastic. The top of the tomato was not cut off so it slid farther and farther to the back of the bun with every bite until there was no more burger left. It's a big burger and it is filling. They did a nice job warming and branding the bun with their logo. The burger was soft and tender, almost melt in your mouth, but had no umami flavor. Big disappointment. Over fifty bucks plus tip for two burgers, one glass of wine and a glass of iced tea. I'd say, not worth it. The burgers do not include any sides. Also, it was pretty loud. Not easy to carry on a conversation. Again, super nice staff, great service, but I won't be back. It was packed, so I'm glad they are doing well and I wish them much continued success.

I've passed by this place so many times but this was our first time having dinner here. It's a nice spot for a casual dinner in Redondo. Nothing really too special or unique about the menu. Just your standard Californian gastropub fare. Had the chicken sandwich and my husband had the burger. Both pretty solid and wouldn't mind coming back again.

Chicken and Waffles Veggie Scramble Guava mimosa
Christina O.

Cute restaurant near the beach with lots of indoor and outdoor seating. Service was good other than it taking a few minutes for the drinks each time we ordered a refill. Made reservations for bottomless mimosas on a Saturday. The bottomless mimosas were less than $25/person and they had your traditional oj, but also guava, mango, and peach juices. The guava one was the best. You have to order an entree if you do the bottomless mimosas, so we shared the chicken and waffle and veggie egg scramble which came with breakfast potatoes. The chicken was kinda chicken tender-y but the hot sauce that it came with was very nice. The veggie egg scramble was okay, too. It's a nice spot for the vibes and bottomless mimosas, but the food was good, not amazing.

Dirty Chai-tini

Great food, great drinks, great service! Delaney was our server! 10/10!! She was lovely. Dirty chai-tini- delicious. Pork Belly Polenta Eggs Benedict?!? HELL YEAH! So so so so good!! Will be back to eat that again and try more menu items.

out of all the rockefeller locations, RB, IMO is the most laid back of them all. wanted to come here to check out their HH and their $2 burgers on tuesdays it is a legit deal, the only catch is you have to purchase a minimum of $6 bev (easy peasy) i asked for a concoction of something fruity, our waitress came back with a really yummy drink. it had strawberry and pineapple. YUM! we then ordered: 2x $2 burgers Truffle Mac & Cheese Rockefeller Mess Zucchini Fries Mexican Street Tacos all were very tasty! will def be back to try the allagash queso dip, the meatballs and the roasted veggie flatbread! made rez via opentable. opted to sit in their patio very dog friendly! spacious patio we got there around 430pm, it started to pick up around 0530pm. service was great! our waitress came around often to make sure all her tables were doing okay parking: metered spaces/lots; you can park blocks up from the beach in the residential area, but that is about a 5-10m walk. read all signs!

Breakfast burrito
Katie H.

Been coming here for years for their breakfast burrito (they have my heart bc they always have tapatio on deck). Love the outdoor seating, but the indoor is also vibey. Weekday happy hour has awesome deals, especially the burgers on Tuesdays. And bottomless mimosas for weekend brunch with various flavors (guava's my fave), need I say more? Coffee is always great because they have a little coffee bar inside too! A great spot in the Redondo Riveria

5 Stars - Where business meets brisket... and cocktails. Had an amazing time at Rockefeller with an incredible new crew of networking friends--and let me just say, this spot is built for social media girlboss energy. From the effortlessly cool vibe to the flawless service, it was the perfect backdrop for business chats that flowed as smoothly as the cocktails. Speaking of cocktails... yes, please. And don't even get me started on the brisket tacos--tender, juicy, and full of flavor. The kind of dish that makes you pause mid-convo and moan just a little. Rockefeller is a regular local favorite for a reason. Whether you're in work mode, flirt mode, or foodie mode--this place delivers every time. I'll absolutely be back.

We weren't really starving, just wanted to check the vibes, try the food and see how it was. Unfortunately, things just weren't how we were expecting. We love mexican food and we are used to the food trucks that we can find everywhere in LA. I used to have tacos from the taco truck across the street from me when I lived in San Pedro and they were just perfect, simple and on point. I think I had that idea when I ordered the taco, but it wasn't really what I expected. It was bigger and looked beautiful, but the amount of spice was extremely high, which didn't even let me taste the flavor. And on top of it, the salt felt off too. Too much spice, not enough salt. My fiance ordered tamales, and the mole was more on the chocolate side than anything. The flavors just didn't match. Service wise we have nothing to complain about. They were nice and helpful! It's just the food that wasn't good for us.

The Wicked Wolf is a kind of place that offers the opportunity for whimsical mischief. For…read moreinstance, they have a rooftop area. And this one time I was there alone with another, no other patrons just staff members walking around from time to time. We stole the moment to dance under the Long Beach sky, just the two of us as a famous Christina Perrio song gently wafted in the night breeze. At another separate time, I was at the Los Angeles County Fair with another. We rode the ferris wheel at such a time where our gondola stopped at the top just as the sun set. The moment was nothing but beautiful and life affirming because the sinking of the sun's light was like a real life video of nature happening in front of us, unburdened by static or data stall. We witnessed nature resting, and I feel, that it was a kin to a beauty falling into a gentle sleep. These two instances have a common factor: momentary bliss arrived to bless an experience because the environment supported discovery of unplanned joy. That is what I associate with the Wicked Wolf, and this time the joy arrived eventually because when my Mom and I arrived to their high tea on Mother's Day the experienced seem like it would land nowhere good. Truth be told, my mom and I arrived 15 minutes early and there was no host in the stand and the place was empty except for a foursome. The energy felt lacked luster. One or two minutes after, the bartender informed us that we were early and the host would come soon. We sat in an available sofa for two, a loveseat persay. This gave us an opportunity to admire the decor that transported us to a storybook forest where good fairies reside, not like swamp creatures and trolls with malevolent fangs and dragon green eyes. I especially loved the large roses in the ceiling. To set the stage, the black ceiling had vines hanging from it, and the few roses were pops of crimson red displayed above. These were wonderful accents to the central mural of the joint that invited the viewer within deeper into the fairy forest where a light shone on an unseen meadow. The place had the decorations and general environment to be a lavender fairy's lounge, but, it did not fully work as a team room. For instance, my mom and I were sat in another lover's couch. Initially, I did not want to sit here because we were given circular tray sets. So imagine being told to sit in a couch, and each of us would get a tv tray. So I was left to wonder if we were going to be served tea in Belle's living room or if were going to watch a flick as we ate pollo loco bowl? But then as I settled into the tranquility of the moment, saw more people come and find their seat or couch, and as the serviced picked-up I realized that this was high tea in a place that had taken disjointed beauty and tackied it together for a patched tea experience that worked well. It was like the experienced was blessed and allowed by the same spirit that brought forth Raggedy Ann. For instance, the pictures show these pretty violet petaled tea cups and matching plates. This pairing was dainty and perfect for a tea party happening under pink veils. But then the sugar cubes came in a hedgehog shaped holder which was just as precious as seeing a piglet in a carriage built for one. Then the cream carrier was in the shape of a milk carton. I wondered where the missing child portrait was? The pastry plate was in the shape of a tropical flower like the ones scattered all over Hawaii. It belonged in a beautiful lei. Each of these elements was cute in its own delicate and whimsical way but together they made an eclectic hodgepodge, not a coherent tea set. And in this asymmetry laid the glitter of their error. The host also brought these clip on dainty hats that were perfect touches for make believe tea party. He carried them around in their original packing, including the box they came in. Not exactly the tailor of the queen, offering hats to the villagers as a gift from her to them, but still the effort magnified the moment. The tea food was the worst stumble that Red took as she was being chased by the Wicked Wolf. To begin with the end analysis, the tea offerings in general were standard, and not bites fit for a princess and her wedding court. For instance, the cream cheese and cucumber sandwich was just that---- a cucumber and cream cheese sandwich. I detected no effort to make it more than that. The blueberry scone was solid, nothing to skip through a meadow about. But once you added the jam of the table to the scone it was much easier to enjoy. I also had a madeline that was fluffy in the center but could have been purchased maybe at Costco. I had a Macaron and same thing, delicious but I have had something similar before and I suspected that it did not come from a place afloat with Parisian affairs. The best part of the tiers was this puff like thing that had like a Concha texture and design at the top. It was a sweet filled bite that was fit for a man made of muffin.
