Got their seasonal/new drink, the Blueberry Sparkling Espresso (I believe that's what it was called). I got it less sweet, which was good, but unfortunately I didn't really taste much of the blueberry. It was still a really refreshing drink for a hot day though. The espresso was strong, which was a plus because it definitely kept me awake. The inside was cute with plenty of seating, making it a nice place to get some work done. Parking is easy, and the service was friendly. They also have a kiosk where you can place your order, which makes things convenient. They have many other drinks that look really intriguing so i'll definitely be back to try the other drinks!
My entire experience was below average. This cafe is pretty large in comparison to some others nearby and there are plenty of tables to hang out and work at. I ordered my hojicha latte at the kiosk and drink came out quickly considering how busy it was. Unfortunately, the drink itself was extremely chalky and way too milky. I was hoping for more tea flavor to come through, but alas it was mostly milk and sugar. Not sure if I'd be back for the same drink. Maybe if I'm in the same shopping center I'll come back for a coffee.
This is such a cute cafe. The workers were friendly and I liked that they have both a kiosk and someone at the register. It was nice and cool inside, which made it a great place to chill. Parking was easy too since there's a big parking lot right outside. I tried the berry good matcha and it's easily one of my favorites! I also had one of their danishes and it was really good and big. The cafe has a cozy, vibey atmosphere with a few outlets and big tables, making it a nice spot to study, work, or catch up with friends. I'll definitely be back!
I saw on Instagram that they had a summer special for bingsu, so I came here to try it. I ordered the Coffee Cream Bingsu. It was good! Loved the bold coffee taste! So good! Wish there was a larger size than just a cup! Haha When my order was ready, I thought it was nice that they brought me my bingsu although I ordered through the kiosk. (I was amazed they knew the order was mine). That was a nice touch!
Came here on a Sunday afternoon There is plenty of parking in the lot. It is very pretty, colorful inside. LOTS of seating for anyone who needs to study work or catch up with friends. It was definitely more quiet as people seemed to be studying when I came in. I ordered the Matcha latte with oat milk and agave as my sweetner. My friend got the iced peach lemon drip. My matcha was amazing, tasted great, not overly sweet, a good balance. I was a little disappointed that it wasn't filled all the way to the top. I def recommend this place though if you are local, and want to do some work at a cafe or get a nice drink.
I recently visited Cafe Dolce and found them on yelp with high ratings. They are located on a busy street inside of a plaza with plenty of parking. The café is chic, clean and trendy. They offer great seating inside with Wi-Fi. They have a nice variety of options for drinks and pastries. There is a kiosk for ordering, however we want it to ask a couple of questions so the barista was kind enough to assist us. I ordered one of their signature drinks which is the cream cap latte and it did not disappoint. My daughter ordered the matcha and she was impressed and she's kind of a matcha snob The baristas were friendly and I would definitely visit again and try something else.
Located off Sepulveda Blvd in Torrance. Parking shared with the other businesses in the plaza. The place it's not too big but lots of tables although a popular spot for the students and others who are sitting at the tables with their laptops. They have drinks, ice cream and pastries as well. I got the matcha smash which was recommended to me from my co worker it was very refreshing especially good for the hot and warm days it had a slight mint taste to it and no milk in this drink which makes it more refreshing. The staff were great as well. Service was pretty quick. I would come back again.
My second time at cafe dolce and I came with a friend to do our studying on a Saturday morning. Pretty busy but we managed to grab some seats. They do have outlets if you bring your laptop. I ordered their pesto Danish and a hojicha latte. One of the best hojicha latte I've had in terms of it actually having a strong hojicha taste. Typically when i order one its super sweet and the hojicha is faint but this one is super smoky and nutty, love it! Will be coming here for it :)
Really enjoyed the cafe especially with open parking lot and plenty of seats. The room is bright and welcoming and lots of guests either studying and reading. The attentiveness of the staff is super amazing and calming. Thank you for making great suggestions on the pastries promo and the matcha latte really hit the spot for me. Will come back to try the other drinks but definitely come here to relax.
One of the cutest coffee shops I've been to! When you walk in, the strong aroma of beans and baked pastries will hit you right away! The whole shop smelled so delicious! You can place your order at the counter or there is also a kiosk to place your order on your own. Their espresso was alright I found it to be on the bitter side with a sour after taste. Both decaf and caffeinated. Therefore the affogato was a perfect combo bec you can mask the sour after taste coffee with the icecream. Their affogato here is huge! I'm sure to a small cup with a shot of espresso and a small scoops of ice cream. Here, it's more like a cup of icecream serving and a shot of espresso poured on top on your own! Their ice cream is delicious so I'm not complaining at all! I also got the 'spresso highball, which I thought was so clever and tasted refreshing but still retains that coffee taste. It was pretty strong but citrusy! I think it's the best post meal drink! People who like the more green coffee bean taste will like the espresso here. Their cookie was delicious and did I already mention so was their icecream? Service was great and plenty of space to sit and work or hand out!
This beverage was so refreshing. Service was great! Ambiance was clean with plenty of seating, cute wall art, and music in the background. There's plenty of natural lighting as well. This was well-deserved after a massage and acupuncture.
I came to check this place out one Friday afternoon. It wasn't super busy there were a few parties at the tables. The place was moderately sized with various sized tables. Additional seating can be found outside. It is a good place to study or hangout. We opted to order from the kiosk on side when you walk in. Though you can definitely order at the counter in the back. I tried the matcha latte with oat milk and got a 3 piece Obangtteok with red bean filling. There was an additional filling options such as Nutella or get them plain with no filling. Our drinks took around 5-10mins to prepare while Obangtteok took a little longer around 15-20mins. The matcha latte was good but alittle on the sweeter side. I think you can modify the sweetness, which I probably will the next time I come. The Obangtteok was the highlight. It was warm and right amount of crispy on the outside. Inside was fluffy and paired well with the red bean filing without it being super sweet. Overall a pretty standard cafe. The parking lot was decently sized and didn't have any issues with finding parking.

I recently started coming to Cafe Dolce a couple months ago, and I'm so glad I found it! I'm a HUGE matcha lover, and one of my favorite things about this place is that they make the matcha fresh right in front of you! I've been to other coffee shops where the matcha is already pre-made and sitting in a jar, and honestly, I can taste the difference. I love that they take the time to make it fresh! I've tried the iced matcha, cream cap latte, Spanish latte, and the Nutella-filled Obang Tteok is SO GOOD! Everything I've tried so far has been delicious. Another thing I love is that there's never a super long wait. They're quick, efficient, and still make you feel welcomed. I've already recommended this coffee shop to my family and friends because it's THAT good! If you're looking for a new coffee spot, I very much recommend giving this place a try. You won't regret it! read more
Cute coffee shop on Sepulveda Blvd in Torrance. It is located in a strip mall with a few other businesses. Plenty of parking was available on a Saturday morning in August. Was early to meet a friend and asked the cashier about some decaf beverages. The Misugaru smoothie sounded interesting. It is a roasted Korean multi grain powdered, creamy, lightly sweetened blend with milk. I chose almond milk as the base. It was okay, a bit too grainy and probably could have used more time mixing. Would give it 3 stars. My friend treated me to a pesto Danish which I saved for later. I actually purchased one for the hubby to try later as well. Very good! I like savory treats. It's a nice, local coffee shop. It's a bit loud inside as it is bustling w/many customers. There is limited seating outside. I would stop by again to pick up some pesto Danishes and try a different beverage. read more

Matcha latte ($7.50) comes with steamed cows milk and I asked for no sweetener. The matcha foam on top was a bit grainy, but the drink underneath was smooth and creamy, taste was fine with slight bitterness that matcha can have. Alternative milks are available (75 cents extra). Was served warm, not hot. They offered to heat my turkey and cheese croissant ($7.50), which kept some nice crispy flakiness outside. The rest of the crust was chewy and the buttery inside was a bit greasy, with the turkey still at room temperature - maybe I should have declined the heating. Quite heavy but filling. Plus points for: - helpful and efficient staff - indoor and outdoor seating along with good-sized shared parking lot - nice music, not too loud so can still hear conversations Minus points for: - uncomfortably cold inside, even for a warm summer mid-morning - no pastry prices displayed (though I didn't check the kiosk) - one whole wall occupied by computer users (but at least they are quiet and other seating was available) - sandwiches were all rather pricey at $12 so I didn't try any. Located in same complex as Jang Su Jang, just west of Kings Hawaiian restaurant. Decent food with prices leaning toward upscale, probably for the roomy space, parking, and service. Good place to meet a friend or two. I'll likely come back again if in the area. read more

As mentioned in previous reviews - there have been several coffee shops popping up along the South Bay. Three of them are on this street. Now this may sound controversial, but this is the best one. The atmosphere is very welcoming with ample seating inside, and patio seating. Additionally, the baristas are all very sweet and caring. I've had nothing but wonderful interactions with all of the staff members who ensure that the drinks are prepared fresh and to your liking. That alone is what makes this Cafe Dolce stand out from over half of the coffee shops on this side of town. I tried a couple of their drinks (by the way, they offer a great mix of traditional and fun drinks): - Cream cap latte - which is sweet cream mixed with two shots of espresso. I really enjoy this one. It's strong and remind's me of Flat White's Einspanner. - matcha smash - I was very spectical on this drink. Its matcha with citrus lemon mixed with mint. and I think club soda or mineral water (correct me if I am wrong here). This was surprisingly delicious and perfect for heatwaves and summer drinks. - hot matcha latte - my friend and I got to try this when we were catching up on life and it was delicious and the person who made the drink had the perfect latte art and it made me happy. thank you : ) They also have fresh pastries including this one that was like a bagel but it was croissant - I want another one as I am typing this review. Now, there was a yelper who said that drip coffee is $3.50 for 4oz. Sadly California is expensive now. Drip coffee for $3.50 is actually on the cheaper end considering drip coffee at other places are $4.50 - $5. Anyways, I am rarely in this part of town but when I am - this is the go to place for great coffee. Yes there 3 coffee shops on the block, but I recommend you skip them and go here. read more
Awesome find in the South Bay. Truly on a whim and many places were closed, this spot had later hours. There was plenty of parking in a shared lot with other businesses. I was interested in the matcha, it sure didn't disappoint. Presented nicely and in a festive cup. For close yo closing, it was quite packed with friends socialing and some people working. 3.5 stars rounding up to 4. Love how this cafe has a lot of seating inside and it's a fairly quiet space to get some work done or meet up with a friend. The space is clean and brightly lit. They have a variety of coffee drinks and tea drinks on their menu as well as a few caffeine-free kid friendly options which I appreciated. I got the Cream Cap which is their iced americano with house-made cream on top. I also got a misugaru smoothie for my daughter. Both drinks were okay but not amazing. The cream cap was a little more acidic and not as smooth as I expected. Next time, I want to try one of their matcha drinks. They also sell some pastries and sandwiches. If I'm comparing the drinks alone, I'd prefer Chrome Coffee down the street but this space has its own charm with more of a stay and study kind of feel. Service was fine, no complaints. Cute cafe with plenty of seating and plenty of parking. I was greeted immediately as I walked in. Super sweet and friendly barista. I told him it was my first time there and asked for recommendations. He gave a few and I decided to try the Ube Moo shake. I also got the Bourdeux Canele. The Ube Moo shake was delicious and not overly sweet, I don't remember if I said not too sweet. The Canele was a tasty bite as well. The interior is light and cozy, a great place to meet up with friends or clients. read more
This cafe is incredibly cute and cozy. I would love to come back and read or work on my laptop because the seating looks so comfortable and the atmosphere is so welcoming. The employees are also very friendly. I ordered a hot vanilla latte and they use a homemade vanilla flavoring, and it was delicious! It is not too sweet, and it does not have that weird artificial flavoring that big chain coffee places have in their flavored drinks. I can't wait to go back to try more of their offerings! They had pastries that look delicious, but I, unfortunately, didn't try one during this visit. read more

There have been so many new cafes popping up in the South Bay and I'm always up for trying a new cafe - especially in our area! Right when you walk in, CAFE DOLCE gives off the most friendly, welcoming vibes. The cafe is bright, clean, and very inviting. I have never walked into Cafe Dolce without someone greeting me with a smile. My first time here, I couldn't decide what to get because their coffee looked delicious, but I also love my matcha. Their matcha smash sounded so interesting and different that I HAD to try it. It is my absolute favorite thing from here. It's so refreshing and delicious. Even if you're unsure about it, just order it because the flavors just work. I've also tried their hojicha latte and asked them to make it less sweet and it was absolutely perfect. The cream cap latte is also delicious. Cafe Dolce can really do no wrong. Baristas are friendly. Drinks are good. They have a lot of seating inside and so much parking. Worth a try if you're in the area! read more

Grand Opening Day!! First 100 customers received a mini chocolat pain. With a $10 purchase, customers 11 - 40 received a tote bag. All customers received a raffle ticket for more prizes. Decor and music were nice. I ordered a Cream Cap Latte and a Pesto Pastry. Delicious!! Ran into a Yelp Elite friend., Jenn and her mom. I will definitely return. Thanks. Ok, bye. read more

Came here with my girlfriends for the first time and we thought it was cute cafe. Had huge tables and nice decor. Staffs were very friendly and tried the Hoiji cha latte for the first time. Very tasty. My friends said their chai latte was also good. Definitely will come back again to try other drinks. read more

This is my first time trying this place. I was looking for a coffee shop that had good coffee, decent food options and space to work. They have all 3. Not to mention a very clean bathroom. The whole place is clean. I wasn't familiar with some of the coffee options and the guy was nice when explaining the options. Even did me a favor and make a drink that is topically iced, hot for me :). I got the everything bagel cheese danish and it's delish! The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because it's FREEZING inside. I just wish the AC was on full blast. But I don't want to inconvenience others by asking them to turn it down. Over all it's a great place to work or just enjoy a drink and chill. read more

The Strawberry Matcha had good flavor. I would say slightly on the needed just the tiniest bit of sweetness but would order again. The banana walnut muffin was so good. Employee was friendly and provided feedback on popular drink orders. read more
Went out to dinner with coworkers and this place caught the corner of my eye, literally. So I already had dessert on my mind. Walked in and wanted ice cream. The beautiful Kayla greeted me and walked me through the menu. She was super chill and has positive vibes. Pointed out the pastries and I was sold. Ice cream and a warmed up pastry on top of my heavy dinner. Winning. If ever you're in the area, definitely check this spot out. read more
First time trying this new shop and I'm glad I did. There is plenty of parking and very inviting storefront. The inside is spacious and welcoming with lots of seating and places to work. There was no greeting when walking in but the staff is friendly and knowledgeable about their menu items. I usually order a quad on ice but today I decided to order the espresso highball with an added shot. Its actually incredibly tasty! I want to chug it. Their pastry case looks delicious and I will try one of them soon. I recommend this place. Next time I'll get my usual quad on ice and see how the espresso alone stands out. read more

My little one and I stopped into this cafe on a Sunday afternoon. No line despite the shop being busy, just pop your order in the kiosk, pay, and wait a few minutes for your drink. The system seemed very simple and streamlined. We tried: - Spanish Latte: A classic made well. Espresso, made creamy and sweet, with a healthy sprinkling of cinnamon. The flavor was mild, not overly sweetened with syrups to mask the espresso. Everything was really balanced and pleasant. - Vanilla Moo-Shake: They managed to really capture the richness of a milkshake with this one. It literally tasted like a melted vanilla shake. Super sweet and the vanilla sauce they use was not messing around. So delicious. There were several tables packed with people, as well as a few outdoors; if you're able to score a table, this seems like a great spot to have a social coffee with someone. read more

I was looking for my coffee fix this morning in Torrance. There's a bunch of coffee shops here. But I saw this one and based on their menu they had a lot of teas and smoothies and pastries on top of their lattes and coffees. Its in a nice size strip mall. With plenty of parking (Friday morning). There's seating outside as well as plenty of seating inside. Its a nice place to either have a conversation with a friend, read a book, study or do some work or just chill. I love the vibes here. We ordered an ube iced latte as well as a mango smoothie. Our Barnstable was super nice and friendly. The drinks came out quickly. We really enjoyed what we ordered. Not crazy sweet. You can taste the ube and the mango. Very refreshing. Colors are just so vibrant. I would definitely come back here again to sample their other drinks and try some of their pastries as well!! read more
There has been a lot of coffee shops opening up in South Bay. I have tried like 5 new places in the last few months but this place takes the prize in terms of friendly service. The lady at the register was so kind and she even brought the coffee out to where I was waiting. They not only served coffee, pastries, but also ice cream. My bff had her children with her and they got some ice cream so a little bit of everything for every one. I went on a random weekday afternoon and the place was so packed with patrons. I believe it is Korean owned and you can tell many locals young and old visit. They have games inside so they don't mind if you stay long. A super welcoming store and kind to my pup. I can see myself visiting before my son's school pick up. read more

This new cafe in Torrance is great! There's plenty of tables, the decor inside it cute and comfy. Definitely a great spot for studying or meeting up with friends. The staff was friendly and helpful when we ordered at the counter. It was the end of the day, so they also had some pastries that were discounted. We tried the affagato, and the cafe lets you choose your flavor of ice cream so we opted for strawberry. They gave a generous portion of ice cream, and it was stunningly smooth and creamy. Paired nicely with the espresso. read more
