Double matcha was great, and the breakfast sandwich was as well. I love how thick the matcha foam is on top. Atmosphere was great, not a lot of parking though. The ladies that helped us were very nice, and the place was clean and quiet.

Where do I even begin? Best World Donuts has been my neighborhood donut shop for over 20 years. It was the closest mom-and-pop spot to my home, and over time it became so much more than just a place to grab a donut. I grew to know the original owners, Shirley and Sane...truly two of the sweetest, hardest-working people I've ever met. I remember when their kids were little and they would bring them to the shop, and how we'd chat about anything and everything while they worked. Those memories still mean a lot to me. Christmas of 2024 was their last Christmas behind the counter. They retired and sold the business, and I wasn't sure what to expect after that. At first, I didn't recognize the shop anymore. The donuts were different, the atmosphere had changed, and the familiar conversations were gone. Honestly, I wasn't convinced the new chapter would last. But to my surprise...and now my genuine appreciation...the new owners, a young couple, have breathed fresh life into this place. They've taken it in a new, exciting direction, and I've come to admire the energy and creativity they've brought with them. They've added a full breakfast menu, a variety of breakfast sandwiches, and over 20 iced drinks...including all the trendy matcha creations. And let me tell you: their matcha is shockingly good. I've had matcha from specialty shops all over, but the Matcha Cloud here is a solid 10/10. I bought my mom a Banana Matcha, and the look on her face after the first sip said it all...she said it was the best matcha she's ever had. They even offer mobile ordering now, which is great if you like to grab and go. As for the donuts...they're good, just not quite the same as they were in the past. But everything else they're building here makes me believe this place is going somewhere special. After all these years, I'm happy to say I'm still rooting for Best World Donuts. And I think the best is yet to come.

Came here to try their drinks because it looked so good via pictures, they did not disappoint! I got the Vietnamese Coffee Cloud and Banana Matcha, both really good. Vietnamese coffee was nice and strong, just like it should be and was not bitter! Banana Matcha had great banana and matcha flavor, well balanced. Service was pretty quick, I also ordered the sausage, egg croissant along with the hot link burrito. Both food items were good however the salsa for the burrito was lacking per my husband. Overall, I would go back, just the parking is a little bit tough, super small strip mall with tight parking.

Nice location with a small parking lot but also had street parking. We parked without any issues. The shop had a cozy vibe. Clean, bright, and welcoming. You can smell fresh coffee and pastries in walking in. A few tables were available for seating, and everything felt casual and relaxed, good for a quick bite or grabbing breakfast to go. Very friendly young man working the counter. He gave great recommendations and asked if we wanted desired toppings on our sandwiches. Even though I've lived in the city for 20 years, I've never stopped at this donut location not a big deal. Haven't tried to replace in town.. but what I have notice is that the normally have long lines of people early in the morning getting their donuts, coffees, and sandwiches, blah blah blah. so I was curious and decided to try a doughnut. My mistake was trying a cinnamon roll at a new place. I have one particular place that I appreciate the cinnamon rolls more so because they're cooked thoroughly with no mushiness in the middle. The other donuts didn't look appealing. Maybe because it's the weekend and you kinda get what you get on the weekends. My cinnamon roll was mushy in the middle and I won't write them off. Maybe next time I will try a different donut and leave the cinnamon rolls alone.

The banana matcha from this donut shop was so good! I never thought I'd enjoy a banana-flavored drink, but this one changed my mind. If you're in the area, definitely stop by for their donuts and coffee/matcha! It's a Khmer-owned shop (one of the many!) with a modern vibe, creative drink menu, and great prices; this $6 matcha is a steal, especially with that cream top! The customer service is also .

Whole in the wall place in a small shopping center. Parking is limited, especially during peak hours in the day. Ordered the banana matcha and hot Vietnamese coffee. For my taste they were good. Girl that helped us as very nice , she greeted with a smile and very polite. Maintenance work was being done during my visit so it was a little noisy. It seems this spot is a hit within the surrounding communities. Lots of ride share pick ups.

This drink was good that id go back again! I wasn't expecting it to be $11 dollars so I would try another flavor because I think this specific drink only was pricier as it was more matcha but it's a good matcha taste not too strong or light and I love the color. They have two sizes but I'll definitely be back to try their many flavors as cold foam is a favorite with it comes to my drinks and they have many options of it.

These really are the best donuts ever. I bought half a dozen for $10 and he through in a free one :) The shop also sells ice cream, coffee, smoothies, and sandwiches. They have a couple of tables to sit it and it was quiet when I went in around 7pm. The man was friendly and ready to serve.

Initially, I came here for a ham and cheese croissant before work because they were the only one open at 5am. Ham and cheese was great and good portion for the price (compared to SB) Staff are friendly and fast!! I did not expect they would have matcha drinks available and so I decided to come back and try their matcha strawberry cream and it did not disappoint!!! Personally, I am not a matcha girl but this donut shop might have just turned me into one. 10/10 def would recommend to give them a try. Will definitely come back to try their other drinks!

my bf and I found this coffee shop hidden gem. Best matcha and coffee at a good price. Great, tasty, and flavorful food. My bf got the dirty burger with iced matcha + strawberry latte. I got the breakfast burrito with bacon, and regular matcha iced latte. If you want it sweeter, maybe get the strawberry one or get cold foam added. read more

Donut shop tucked away on Avalon , parking up from , they look like a regular little donut shop but once inside their menu consistent of various matcha and coffee drinks , bagels, burritos , and donuts ! I was ordering from work but had to stop by to check it out . The matcha is amazing ! And their sweet cold foams are so good , none have disappointed , the eggs breakfast sandwhich is so good , whatever sauce they use is amazing !! Must check out, very unique donut shop ! read more

This donut shop is one of the best local spot to get your matcha and coffee drinks! It's under new management and all staff are friendly and very quick with service. I'm always on the go in the morning so being able to get the goods in a timely manner is a bonus! Always greeted with a smile too! I highly recommend any of their matcha drinks! My top 3 would be the einspanner, black sesame and double matcha! They're all so yummy! They normally use oatmilk so no extra charge! Their coffees are strong so that's realllly good! You can do any of the cream tops as well. I'm loving all the different options. You can't go wrong with any of their drinks. If you're feeling sweets, the donuts always hit the spot! I enjoy the chocolate donuts all the time! They're fresh and soft! We've tried the breakfast burritos as well. Gosh, we love it all! Come in soon! There's something for everyone. Even our kids love coming to best world! Parking is a hit or miss. They get so busy but there's more parking in rear. read more

Came by with some friends earlier today and I'm so happy to find a nearby place that is so good!! They had soooo many options for matcha with so many flavors I've never heard or seen before (AND WITH PICTURES!!) i truly wanted to try all of them, they looked that good. We came an hour before they closed but were still greeted with a big smile and with such kind service. Not to mention how our drinks came out pretty quick! It's a little small inside but it had such a nice modern/hip atmosphere. Wish we came by earlier and got to see more pastry/donut options they had. My friends got the banana matcha and told me how creamy and delicious theirs were, each flavor were perfectly balanced and weren't overpowering one or the other. Same goes for the Strawberry matcha! Not too sweet like some places. I got the coco matcha cloud (coconut matcha ) and I loved it! The matcha wasn't bitter nor overly sweet and it went perfectly with the coconut! I decided to give this place a go ,one early morning right before work because I was curious. I phoned about ten minutes ahead to get a link breakfast burrito. To my surprise this place was busy. The building is nondescript on the outside but cleaner on the inside. It's your local donut shop just with more modern options and a fresh feeling atmosphere. Parking is a bit of a challenge when its busy because all your blue-collar patrons support which is encouraging because I definitely believe in buying from your mom and pops spots . The breakfast burrito tho not pricey at all still was filling and tasty , and their drinks I definitely want to try next go around. Big ups best World donuts , yall got something brewing here. read more

I like this place but the only main issue I have is that they almost always mess up on numbers and giving out their food items. If you dont order their menu items as numbers but rather the description of it, they dont know it by heart either so just keep that in mind. The M5 is worth coming back for which is their Coco Matcha Cloud read more

i stopped by after church today and to my surprise, the donut and matcha are very good! it's a cute shop, parking is a little difficult, but the prices are reasonable. it got the coconut matcha and regular glazed donut. the coconut matcha is similar to the one that chrome does; it's good! the donut was surprisingly really good too. it was chewy and you could tell it was made well. i'd come back to try other menu items as well. read more

I stumbled upon this donut shop and instantly fell in love. From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with friendly staffs and a wide array of delicious options. The display case was full of fresh donuts, pastries, and the vibe was very welcoming. I tried the red velvet donut and and an ube coconut drink from their "Sips of the World" menu--both were absolutely amazing! The donut was moist, perfectly sweet, and had that slight crunch from the glaze that makes every bite satisfying. The drink was not too sweet and super refreshing. They also offer a wide selection of sandwiches and coffee, which I'll definitely be back for. You can tell the owners care about quality and presentation. I came here on a weekday morning and it was busy! But even so, the people working there were so nice! I only waited about 3 minutes in all. I ordered the Ube matcha drink, and it was perfect. Just the right amount of sweetness and bitterness, not to mention, aesthetically appealing. They've got so many flavors to pick from, I recommend to all matcha lovers. Decided to give this place a try with my boyfriend this morning , however upon walking in we were not greeted and staff seemed hesitant to help us . However the next group of people who walked in were greeted immediately, as a business everyone should be treated equally . Ordered two matchas and two breakfast burritos , the staff member mixed up my order and when told that my order was wrong didnt want to remake my matcha , told me that this is what i ordered when i didnt and was very adamant about it . Just off this encounter alone i will not be returning, i dont appreciate being treated so poorly in an establishment. Ambiance was ok the store was clean , but i now understand why og customers miss the original owners . read more

I bought a double matcha. Fantastic and would definitely recommend and come back. They didn't have a good donut selection despite being called worlds best donuts but did had many matcha selection. The store had about 4 tables but was not kept clean. read more

Absolutely delightful! I almost didn't want to wrote a review because I dont want a huge line when I go but this place absolutely deserves a good rave review. Everything from the service to the actual taste of the food and beverages. Everyone was nice and very quick with our meal. Not featured in the picture is the dozen donuts we got our staff which im told were a hit and everyone kept asking where we got them from. I had the sausage egg and cheese croissant which was warm, buttery, and delicious! It's such a filling serving packed and so satisfying to bite into. My friend had the banana matcha latte which was not too sweet and a perfect banana flavor through out the whole matcha. I had the black sesame matcha and my gosh the nutty flavor and creamy top blends into the earthy and sweet matcha so well. They're both also great serving sizes for the price and kept me going for the day without feeling overly caffinated. One thing to note the parking lot is small and a little tricky to get in and out of when theres a lot of traffic and cars. But street parking should be available along the side. Will definitely be making this place a part of my regular routine! read more

The beans are roasted in-house, its humble beginnings of roasting in the proprietor's (Ron Dizon) garage. Barako is the inspiration, Liberia cultivar. My parents would often reminisce that it is the best coffee they've ever tasted, drinking it black. Teofilo was the patriarchal namesake, Ron's maternal grandfather. Along with the service not being the greatest, the food item we had ordered Pad See Ew, ended up containing quite a few pieces of meat that we weren't anticipating, considering one of us doesn't eat meat, it unfortunately caused pretty bad stomach issues.
