I ordered while second in line behind one man. There were four people behind me. I was the only Black person in the building. As I waited, I watched every single person who came in after me get their food while I was still standing there. Eventually, I walked up to the cash register ready to ask for my money back. Only then was my order finally prepared. I've experienced this kind of passive-aggressive treatment too many times, businesses that serve people of color last, even when we're ahead in line. But I firmly believe that the reasoning for the three star was because of my conflicted thoughts with the tasting aspect of the food, I felt that the green garden avacado toast egg sandwich which lacked in flavor along with the cinnamon muffin. So in short, I didn't really enjoy the food personally. But objectively, the experiance was very well--Which is why I am changing my rating. As I have previously mentioned on the last review--I did, however, enjoy the ambiance of the place. The decor and overall concept is quite amazing. The cafe had a contemporary vibe and the patterns were unique in a way that made it stand out. The service was also good, had no concerns regarding the staff. But to sum everything up, I do believe that a four would be a more reasonable rating than the previous.
