Half-eaten famous apple fritter. It is as good as they say it is.

M Donuts. Friendly. Easy parking. Inexpensive. Previous reviews said the Apple Fritters were great, and they are. Everything looks good. M is just a friendly efficient place to get great coffee & a doughnut. Life is good.

Ham, egg, and cheese croissant for the big W! Added jalapeno for that morning kick.

M donut for the win! Large variety of breakfast croissants/sandwiches made to order. Fresh squeezed juices! Smoothies! Cake donuts are nice and dense, yeast donuts are light and airy but not too light. My go to apple fritters and bear claws are delectable! Perfect amount of sweetness here, unlike that chain donut shop KK with their massively sweet product. Employees/owner here at M donut are good people. They're humble, generous, and down to earth nice. Support small business!

Donuts were so good. They were closed when my kids and I walked up but the guy opened the doors for us & even gave us extra donuts & a bunch of extra donut holes for my boys. Our new go-to. We'll be back soon!

This apple fritter is by far the best that I've had in the Southbay. It has a lot of apple pie filling inside and is the size of 2 glazed donuts

Only in the last decade or so, I started hearing about the great sandwiches at Tucker's yet I only went in for Lotto tickets thinking that if I won sometime, it'd make for a good story. "Back to his roots, David K. wins Powerball..." Well, I am in charge of a lotto group of 14 families and we WON in December 13th's drawing! 4 numbers, not including the Powerball. A whopping $447 and they put it on the wall and everything! And we decided as a group to roll that into last night's drawing in addition to our usual buy in...and we won $56 dabnabit! But I was feeling pretty good about winning the 4 numbers so I decided to order up some sammies for the family. The boy and I decided to go splitsies and share the Turkey Avocado on Squaw Bread and the Pastrami Hoagie. The wife ordered the BLT. The staff are nice, friendly and efficient. It didn't take long at all to whip up 3 yummy sandwiches. The wife enjoyed her BLT and I had my half of the Turkey Avocado yesterday and it was great. The squaw bread was particularly fantastic. I had my half of the Pastrami today and heated it up in the toaster oven. I really enjoyed it and would definitely get sandwiches here again. It looks like all the meats are high quality Boar's Head products. And I enjoyed the bread the Pastrami was on as well. Prices are inline with other sandwich places. The market itself is jam packed with all sorts of snacks/drinks and goodies. They even sell ping pong balls and dice. I look forward to trying more on the menu next time!

The cafe also sells coffee, gelato (six different flavors), salads, affogato, and croissants (plain, cream, nutella, and apricot). I had a cup of house brewed coffee and the drink wasn't quite on the same level as other third-wave coffee shops in the South Bay. They sell coffee beans from Danesi Caffe. *** Breakfast panini (Scrambled egg, fontina cheese, tomato a avocado - $10.95): A healthy-tasting sandwich, but it probably needed more sauce to add flavor. Bread was good. Rustico (RUSTICO: 24-month aged prosciutto di Parma smoked scamorza cheese, arugula, & white truffle extra virgin olive oil - $11.95): A solid sandwich, but it definitely lacked the "it" factor. *** A solid local cafe for anyone looking for a healthy Italian panini.

In no way are those French baguettes. It's just a soft spongy roll. Nothing baguette about it. Not like it's just a bad baguette. It's just purposeful false advertising and misleading. I got the California Delight mainly because the photo and the description said it has sprouts in it. No sprouts were found in my sandwich. Their secret sauce is pretty good at kicking up an otherwise decent sandwich. As another reviewer mentioned, the lady taking my order was not friendly and socially awkward in a rude way. Chips and drink don't come as a combo, so expect to pay $6 dollars to make it a meal. That's a big difference for a $11 sandwich. Friday noon, and most customers had beers with their lunch.

My wife and I had an enjoyable breakfast experience, tasting some unique dishes that are worth coming in for. We had a real early errand in the Lomita area, so wanted to take advantage by trying a different breakfast place. They have a really informative website, explaining the owning family's participation and how some of their food is sourced. It's a brunch place (open from 8 am to 2/3 pm, Tu-Su), so needed to wait a bit outside (street parking only, found one hour free parking right in front since coming so early). Menus are available at the front counter, and you place and pay (clover) for your order first. The food came out soon after, delivered to your table. There is a self-serve water jug in the same area as take-as-you-need take-out containers (also saw a self-serve costco-size plastic wrap box for wrapping...such a Korean thing to do). Utensils and napkins are available at the table to take for need. I really like places like this that have optimized the service experience, getting what you need without having to track someone down. Forking Around's Filipino Burrito ($18.95) - a collab with the food influencer 'Forking Around' to put into a breakfast burrito, many common ingredients from a Filipino breakfast. This includes egg, garlic fried rice as base and a vegetable lumpia with longanisa pieces, wrapped in a good flour tortilla. Sides were both a cilantro lime crema and a well made sawsawan. The sausage was not too sweet nor too red (though perhaps a bit too meatloaf-like), and the lumpia in the burrito worked for me. Korean Breakfast with bulgogi and steamed rice ($19.95) - it was served in a cast-iron skillet and the pan had been heated up greatly...super hot when served and still warm by the time we left. The flavor of the bulgogi was solid, and I loved the presentation. Taco Truck Burrito ($17.95) - korean-style al pastor pork, with pineapple and kimchi fried rice and egg. It was good....forgot to ask if the meat was really cooked on a vertical rotisserie. Came with a good chipotle salsa and lime crema. We were done in 30 minutes, from entry to exit. It wasn't too busy, so asked the front-of-house lead where the longanisa sausage and lumpia were made...she stated that it was all in-house. That's really impressive, making an ingredient from scratch that is only used in one dish. This and the elegant presentation and longevity really shows that the entire team behind bites & bashes cafe (catering) knows what they are doing.
