    Triple mix
    Danielle K.

Cute little place with a lot of options! Very friendly staff as well. My husband and i love gluten free crepes and i got the matcha brulee - the cornflakes were a great texture addition! My husband got the triple mix and he enjoyed it but he did say it was a bit flavorless. Even though mine tasted like matcha and was great, i could see what he meant. Mine probably needed a fruit in it too but you cant make too many changes (which i totally understand). I do want to go back and try yuzu cream cheese one. If youre in the area, make sure to stop by!

Went here for the first time. Was pretty good, I was a little confused because when you order it does not say what exactly is in each crepe (so please add that if you are able!), I ended up ordering the strawberry whipped cream crepe and the ice cream with strawberry crepe. They were pretty good, the crepes were thin and if had a lot of filling. I was looking for something closer to me that is like Millet Crepe (in Sawtelle). They are pretty comparable, but I do like the texture of the crepes better at Millet. Overall, our crepes came out quickly and the place is small but clean. I would go again to try the matcha creme brulee crepe

Ordered the matcha brulee crepe & it was good! It's a little messy to eat but great to share one! I really like how they layer the filling within the crepe so it's not just all the matcha on top. I wish the top was torched more like the display/photos Small shop with easy parking

The good: I got the Dubai crepe and Yuzu cream cheese crepe. It was around $25 for two crepes. The crepes were so light and airy. We thought they'd feel heavy and that we'd be super full after them so we intended to eat it for our lunch but they were so light and airy (so we ended up eating more next door at the grocery store after). We loved that the crepes had various textural elements. The Dubai one had crunchy chocolate cereal (cocoa puffs). The yuzu one had a yuzu jelly on top and some chunks of mandarin inside. The bad: If we waited 15 minutes we would have qualified for the $1 discount at 12PM for the crepes (excludes the Dubai one) but we didn't know until after we ordered. There's no outdoor seating but the plaza had some benches around so we sat on those to eat outside. Inside, there's a small high table for 2 people. I wish there was more space inside to enjoy the crepe. The interesting: They have a self-ordering tablet inside. It made ordering very easy and contactless.

Cute cozy little crepe shop right next to red rock! For the price and the stuff you get it's a little underwhelming--borderline worth, but not over the top worth. It's a good and refreshing snack to get to satisfy a sweet crepe craving. I'll come back to get a different crepe since the matcha brulee didn't strike a wow but more so an mhm ok thats good. Not a disappointing treat to eat, but for $22 for two with the lunch discount and I only have these two crepes in my hand, I'm a little itty bitty sad. Original rating would be a 3.5 but my husband and I don't mind rounding to a 4 star because it was not bad, just not wow.

Wakaba Japanese Crepe just opened up in my neighborhood. Took my family there. We got the mango coconut crepe and the strawberry matcha creme crepe. While the crepes were tasty - particularly the strawberry matcha one, it was pretty pricey. I know it is hard for small businesses right now, but it was hard to justify $25 for two crepes, no matter how beautiful they were. There is one table with seating inside, very cute, and one bench. We ate ours (party of three) outside.

Was recommended this spot by a coworker. It sure did not disappoint. This establishment specializes in crepes. Both savory and sweet crepes are offered here. Cozy little shop that is great for a quick snack or a aftermeal dessert. Opted for a custom crepe that was composed of a matcha crepe, sliced strawberries, vanilla ice cream, and a matcha syrup drizzle. The ingredients all meshed together perfectly. Recommend to anyone shopping or dining around the Torrance area.

    Strawberry Matcha crepe was delish!!

Overpriced but pretty good. The closest thing you'll get to Japan's crepes. But far from the price. Definitely an occasional treat. The proportions are also a hit or miss. I feel like I've gotten more than the other times, and the wrap up not as neat as other times as well. Seems at times it falls apart and can be messy to eat. Service was good, quick and they seem kind. The store is super small though. Definitely something you can just buy and take out to eat. Definitely do recommend this place but just know that it is pretty pricey!

It is great, it located nijiya mall and I am regular now There are many parking lot and you cd. Order with tapping screen, very easy and pay. No cash.

New Japanese style crepe in the Plaza where Nijiya is at. Excited as there isnt many Japanese style crepes around. The shop is small with one table and a bench but super clean and modern. They have a menu with their popular crepes displayed over the register so its easier to make a decision. On their tablet they their full menu listed flavors. I came on Friday early afternoon, wasn't busy. I got the matcha creme brulee, my parents got the strawberry ice cream crepe. It was pretty good! The matcha wasn't too sweet however cream kinda melted quicker then I anticipated but it was delicious nonetheless. Never had matcha creme brulee before. I will be going back as I am super interested in their Yuzu Cream cheese crepe. Definitely reccommend to try it and you could easily share one with someone else :)

Japanese crepes are the best! Bright lit spot, great location next to Nijiya and Red Rock. Easy to order on the kiosk. Let them know ahead of time before submitting if you have any dietary restrictions! Def recc for a sweet treat to stop by after your errands!! I brought a few friends to try it out. Minimal seating, more of quick grab and go. Open kitchen. I would prefer if they wore masks in the kitchen for hygienic purposes since they do need to communicate. I got the mango coconut (shaving) crepe. Maybe I'm a slow eater, but it started leaking at the end and was a little too sweet then. The mango and whipped cream are perfect! The skin is not as bouncy as KC's (near LAX) and has a smaller menu, which means easier to decide! Parking: free! large lot

Solid crepe. They use thrifties ice cream. A little bit pricey. Took about 15 minutes to make the 2 crepes pictures. Plaza has plenty of parking.

Wakaba Crepe replaced the Scoops Ice Cream place in the Nikita Plaza in North Torrance. They offer gluten-free crepes that remind you of the ones you can get in Japan. They are not very sweet (a compliment) and definitely aesthetically pleasing. The staff are super nice and when you walk in, it's like you're transported into a Japanese French creperie. The place is very clean, so that's a bonus. The menu is small, which means they do what they do well. Support local mom and pop shops!

I was pretty determined to get it so I came back the next day at 10 AM and was able to get one. They also offer mini versions of select croissants, quiche, sandwiches, salads, coffee, tea, etc. *** Quiche Lorraine (Madrange Parisian Ham, Emmental Swiss Cheese, Cage Free Organic Eggs Filling, and Chives - $10.95): The employee kindly warmed it up for me and it was the last one on Sunday afternoon. It had an amazing melt-in-your-mouth texture. Mini Almond Chocolate Croissant (Laminated Puff Pastry, French Isigny Butter, Almond Cream, Chocolate & Sliced Almond - $4.45): It was cold so didn't have a soft texture. The chocolate was a bit overpowering. Blueberry Madeleine (French Traditional Flour, French Isigny Butter, Blueberry Jam & Cake Free Organic Eggs - $4.25): A solid pastry. Mini Almond Croissant (Laminated Puff Pastry, French Isigny Butter, Almond Cream & Sliced Almond - $3.95): I liked it better than the almond chocolate croissant because it had molasses instead of chocolate (the molasses tasted less overpowering). *** I highly recommend Quiche Lorraine and Almond Croissant, but I have to admit these baked goods aren't exactly affordable. This spot is located inside the Mitsuwa marketplace food court area with parking outside shared with the Del Amo mall. It can get pretty packed in the area.
