Got their seasonal/new drink, the Blueberry Sparkling Espresso (I believe that's what it was called). I got it less sweet, which was good, but unfortunately I didn't really taste much of the blueberry. It was still a really refreshing drink for a hot day though. The espresso was strong, which was a plus because it definitely kept me awake. The inside was cute with plenty of seating, making it a nice place to get some work done. Parking is easy, and the service was friendly. They also have a kiosk where you can place your order, which makes things convenient. They have many other drinks that look really intriguing so i'll definitely be back to try the other drinks!
My entire experience was below average. This cafe is pretty large in comparison to some others nearby and there are plenty of tables to hang out and work at. I ordered my hojicha latte at the kiosk and drink came out quickly considering how busy it was. Unfortunately, the drink itself was extremely chalky and way too milky. I was hoping for more tea flavor to come through, but alas it was mostly milk and sugar. Not sure if I'd be back for the same drink. Maybe if I'm in the same shopping center I'll come back for a coffee.
Reviewing again because I absolutely love it here. I used to come a lot more often but as of lately have not, every time I do come in though I'm always greeted with a smile and welcome back!! The drinks are good as always, Oobang Tteok is always yummy. My daughter gets Nutella while I get red bean :). Honestly my #1 top Cafe I enjoy coming to every time, I hope to return more often!!
This is such a cute cafe. The workers were friendly and I liked that they have both a kiosk and someone at the register. It was nice and cool inside, which made it a great place to chill. Parking was easy too since there's a big parking lot right outside. I tried the berry good matcha and it's easily one of my favorites! I also had one of their danishes and it was really good and big. The cafe has a cozy, vibey atmosphere with a few outlets and big tables, making it a nice spot to study, work, or catch up with friends. I'll definitely be back!
I saw on Instagram that they had a summer special for bingsu, so I came here to try it. I ordered the Coffee Cream Bingsu. It was good! Loved the bold coffee taste! So good! Wish there was a larger size than just a cup! Haha When my order was ready, I thought it was nice that they brought me my bingsu although I ordered through the kiosk. (I was amazed they knew the order was mine). That was a nice touch!
Matcha latte ($7.50) comes with steamed cows milk and I asked for no sweetener. The matcha foam on top was a bit grainy, but the drink underneath was smooth and creamy, taste was fine with slight bitterness that matcha can have. Alternative milks are available (75 cents extra). Was served warm, not hot. They offered to heat my turkey and cheese croissant ($7.50), which kept some nice crispy flakiness outside. The rest of the crust was chewy and the buttery inside was a bit greasy, with the turkey still at room temperature - maybe I should have declined the heating. Quite heavy but filling. Plus points for: - helpful and efficient staff - indoor and outdoor seating along with good-sized shared parking lot - nice music, not too loud so can still hear conversations Minus points for: - uncomfortably cold inside, even for a warm summer mid-morning - no pastry prices displayed (though I didn't check the kiosk) - one whole wall occupied by computer users (but at least they are quiet and other seating was available) - sandwiches were all rather pricey at $12 so I didn't try any. Located in same complex as Jang Su Jang, just west of Kings Hawaiian restaurant. Decent food with prices leaning toward upscale, probably for the roomy space, parking, and service. Good place to meet a friend or two. I'll likely come back again if in the area.
Came here on a Sunday afternoon There is plenty of parking in the lot. It is very pretty, colorful inside. LOTS of seating for anyone who needs to study work or catch up with friends. It was definitely more quiet as people seemed to be studying when I came in. I ordered the Matcha latte with oat milk and agave as my sweetner. My friend got the iced peach lemon drip. My matcha was amazing, tasted great, not overly sweet, a good balance. I was a little disappointed that it wasn't filled all the way to the top. I def recommend this place though if you are local, and want to do some work at a cafe or get a nice drink.
I recently visited Cafe Dolce and found them on yelp with high ratings. They are located on a busy street inside of a plaza with plenty of parking. The café is chic, clean and trendy. They offer great seating inside with Wi-Fi. They have a nice variety of options for drinks and pastries. There is a kiosk for ordering, however we want it to ask a couple of questions so the barista was kind enough to assist us. I ordered one of their signature drinks which is the cream cap latte and it did not disappoint. My daughter ordered the matcha and she was impressed and she's kind of a matcha snob The baristas were friendly and I would definitely visit again and try something else.
I recently started coming to Cafe Dolce a couple months ago, and I'm so glad I found it! I'm a HUGE matcha lover, and one of my favorite things about this place is that they make the matcha fresh right in front of you! I've been to other coffee shops where the matcha is already pre-made and sitting in a jar, and honestly, I can taste the difference. I love that they take the time to make it fresh! I've tried the iced matcha, cream cap latte, Spanish latte, and the Nutella-filled Obang Tteok is SO GOOD! Everything I've tried so far has been delicious. Another thing I love is that there's never a super long wait. They're quick, efficient, and still make you feel welcomed. I've already recommended this coffee shop to my family and friends because it's THAT good! If you're looking for a new coffee spot, I very much recommend giving this place a try. You won't regret it!
Located off Sepulveda Blvd in Torrance. Parking shared with the other businesses in the plaza. The place it's not too big but lots of tables although a popular spot for the students and others who are sitting at the tables with their laptops. They have drinks, ice cream and pastries as well. I got the matcha smash which was recommended to me from my co worker it was very refreshing especially good for the hot and warm days it had a slight mint taste to it and no milk in this drink which makes it more refreshing. The staff were great as well. Service was pretty quick. I would come back again.
My second time at cafe dolce and I came with a friend to do our studying on a Saturday morning. Pretty busy but we managed to grab some seats. They do have outlets if you bring your laptop. I ordered their pesto Danish and a hojicha latte. One of the best hojicha latte I've had in terms of it actually having a strong hojicha taste. Typically when i order one its super sweet and the hojicha is faint but this one is super smoky and nutty, love it! Will be coming here for it :)
Really enjoyed the cafe especially with open parking lot and plenty of seats. The room is bright and welcoming and lots of guests either studying and reading. The attentiveness of the staff is super amazing and calming. Thank you for making great suggestions on the pastries promo and the matcha latte really hit the spot for me. Will come back to try the other drinks but definitely come here to relax.
One of the cutest coffee shops I've been to! When you walk in, the strong aroma of beans and baked pastries will hit you right away! The whole shop smelled so delicious! You can place your order at the counter or there is also a kiosk to place your order on your own. Their espresso was alright I found it to be on the bitter side with a sour after taste. Both decaf and caffeinated. Therefore the affogato was a perfect combo bec you can mask the sour after taste coffee with the icecream. Their affogato here is huge! I'm sure to a small cup with a shot of espresso and a small scoops of ice cream. Here, it's more like a cup of icecream serving and a shot of espresso poured on top on your own! Their ice cream is delicious so I'm not complaining at all! I also got the 'spresso highball, which I thought was so clever and tasted refreshing but still retains that coffee taste. It was pretty strong but citrusy! I think it's the best post meal drink! People who like the more green coffee bean taste will like the espresso here. Their cookie was delicious and did I already mention so was their icecream? Service was great and plenty of space to sit and work or hand out!

This new cafe in Torrance is great! There's plenty of tables, the decor inside it cute and comfy. Definitely a great spot for studying or meeting up with friends. The staff was friendly and helpful when we ordered at the counter. It was the end of the day, so they also had some pastries that were discounted. We tried the affagato, and the cafe lets you choose your flavor of ice cream so we opted for strawberry. They gave a generous portion of ice cream, and it was stunningly smooth and creamy. The Strawberry Matcha had good flavor. I would say slightly on the needed just the tiniest bit of sweetness but would order again. The banana walnut muffin was so good. Employee was friendly and provided feedback on popular drink orders. read more
This was my first time visiting after they recently opened, and I was pleasantly surprised. The coffee had a rich flavor, and I loved that after 7PM they offer a 50% discount on their pastries -- such a great deal! The pastries themselves were fresh and delicious, and I was happy to see that they also sell Häagen-Dazs ice cream, which made it even better. The interior was modern, clean, and thoughtfully designed, creating a comfortable atmosphere! We came in a little late, close to their 8:30 closing time, but the staff kindly allowed us to stay a bit longer, which we really appreciated. Their warm hospitality, along with the tasty coffee and treats, made the visit extra special. The next time I'm in Torrance, this will definitely be on my list of places to return to! read more
Nice cafe with a lot of space. I was sitting here while studying and saw so many lovely groups filter in and out while playing all sorts of games. This is clearly a comfortable spot to have fun and also lock in. Service was fast and amiable and the drinks were nothing to write home about. read more

Solid little cafe with a great selection of beverages and baked goods. I ordered one of their hot lattes with a hint of mint (forgot the name - it's only on the kiosk not the physical menu) and it was really refreshing, with a good hint of mint. Their croissants were good, sweet and buttery but pricey (the chocolate one was more than my coffee lol). Good place to visit and get some work done. read more

great cafe in a great location. huge parking lot which is convenient. the inside is cute, with a large amount of seating, but it was busy throughout the day (sunday). many people were here to study or to spend time with friends/family. it's a great space for studying with comfortable seating, but one downside is there were only two visible outlets which are not as accessible unless you have those two specific spots nearby so be mindful of that. we placed out orders on the kiosk which was convenient, and the drinks came out quick. the matcha is on the weaker side, with the base of the sweetener somewhat pushing through more stronger than the matcha itself. the matcha was simple, not much complexity to it. the color is great but didn't taste very impressive. the notella latte was great, however. it had that expected nutella taste to support the espresso - a great pairing. it didn't feel heavy with chocolate, and i ended up finishing it quick. they have two single restrooms which is convenient and clean. they have free wifi which is always a plus. overall, a great place to visit for longer periods of time or for a quick treat. read more

so many coffee shops opening in torrance!! and im here for it!! cafe dolce may be my new favorite local coffee stop! the cafe is very inviting, calming, simple and aesthetically pleasing. their menu isnt confusing or offers a lot of fluff, its simple! they even offer drinks for kids. i ordered their cream cap latte 10/10! the ratio of espresso and milk is perfect, their in house cream!!! perfection. tons of seating, even seating avail outside. service was good! with only one barista, he was pumping out those drinks. there is a kiosk for ordering if the line is too long. parking: plenty of parking! read more

Been coming here since earlier this year. The coffee has been amazing. Their hazelnut latte and vanilla latte are amazing, both aren't too sweet. The hazelnut latte has a roasted hazelnut flavor that isn't overpowering. The vanilla latte even has specks of vanilla seeds swimming around. The coffee flavor is warm and toasty. The people working are always very friendly and efficient. They're very accommodating and happy to answer questions. The space is so nice, a great place to study or sit with people to talk. The outside has tables as well. I keep recommending this place to people and they love it! A friend had the matcha latte and said it was very good: great matcha flavor and not too sweet! read more

Being a big coffee connoisseur, I was so excited to see the sign that Cafe Dolce is now open! Located in the same plaza as Jang Su Jang, this new coffee shop is currently in their soft opening phase. Their hours for now is 8am to 8pm daily (subject to change). I was excited to check this place out that I ended up getting there a bit early today around 7:30am. They weren't quite open yet but the owner/barista was so kind and opened up early when he saw me waiting. This new spot is so cute and welcoming. One wall has a colorful artwork painted by artist and illustrator @rfx.one. They have lots of seating featuring comfy straw chairs and tables with fresh flowers. The soft menu consists of a variety of coffee drinks from drip coffee to cappuccinos and lattes. They've also got teas and smoothies. For food they have pastries from baked bar LA. In the afternoon they offer ice cream treats. I spotted an ube latte ($6.50) on the menu and being the big ube fan that I knew right away that I wanted to order this. I also got a drip coffee with vanilla bean syrup for my mom ($3.50), a cinnamon twist ($4) and a chocolate hazelnut almond croissant ($7). Both of the coffee drinks were excellent. In chatting with the owner/barista he told me he really wants to provide quality coffee drinks. The vanilla bean syrup is freshly made in house and I was so impressed when I tried my mom's drip coffee. It had just the right sweet hint of vanilla. My ube latte was equally as good. It has that ube flavor and made for a perfect pair for the pastries. I enjoyed the cinnamon twist pastry. This was one huge piece and great with coffee. The chocolate hazelnut almond croissant was also delightful. It had the perfect flaky exterior and sweet dark chocolate paste interior. Food and drinks were definitely on point here. I was also impressed with the service. The owner was so nice and I enjoyed learning about his vision and hearing about future plans which include offering breakfast foods and more desserts in the future. You can definitely tell his heart is in this and he wants to offer the best coffee and food experience to his customers. Today was a wonderful first visit. I'm already looking forward to coming back and I can see myself being a regular here very soon. :) read more

Perfect picture of a go-to neighborhood coffee shop! Plenty of seats and parking spaces (plus plus points in LA!), chillin' vibes with not overwhelming background music, super sweet barista, and obviously most important - DELIGHTFUL COFFEE! Their cutesy wall decoration and setting were the first to hook me, but the fact that they carried Little Marionette coffee certainly made it more appealing. I loved Little Marionette as its beans surely reminded me of the coffee I got in Aussie, which I still thought as the country carrying my most favorite cups of joe. Obviously it went back to preference, but mine was non-acidic with bold aroma and smooth finishing. I was pleased by the flavor play Cafe Dolce brought into its menu as it's offering fun one like Ube. I got mine hot and absolutely loved it. It came sweetened just at the level I precisely fancied, and the ube taste wasn't overwhelming, still let the coffee gots its spotlight. They're still on soft opening but the opening hour was pretty long, reaching 8pm in the evening so you could get your pick-me-up until pretty late. They also served pastries from Baked Bar, one of my favorite bakeries in town. Prolly room for improvement was if they could get the pastries warmed-up pre-serving given it must have been staying there for awhile on the showcase. I got the Almond Financier, which I was doubtless would taste better if served warm. read more

Place is tucked inside of a nondescript plaza but it is buzzing with chatter and keyboards clicks from clientele. It is very well kept with love and care detailed all throughout the outside towards the inside of this cafe. This place provides a pretty distinct and interesting menu with an array of caffeinated drinks and even some kid friendly drink options. Service was prompt and amicable, will definitely revisit again when I am in the area! read more

Their soft top is perfect. The mirror sign was VERY cool. The tables were abundant for you to find a spot amongst families and students. I didn't get to the pastries but damn they look good. You just can't order them through the self check out. read more

What a cute coffee shop that my friend recommended! I tried the house made syrup and the ube latte both with almond milk. I really wanted to like my drink but idk for some reason my coffee tasted burnt :( Maybe I didn't mix it enough or should have gotten w the standard milk option LOL Will def come back to try the matcha! Tucked away in a small place wiith two other korean eateries, this new café has already made quite the entrance. It was nearly at full capacity when I stopped by on a Sunday around noon, impressive, considering it's a fairly spacious spot with plenty of seating and a few cozy tables outside for those who prefer their lattes with a side of sunshine. The space is bright, airy and on the minimalistic aestethic side. I ordered an iced matcha latte, and I'm happy to report that it was no faint, milky imitation - the matcha actually stood its ground and shone through. My drink was handed to me quickly, which only added to the experience... There's nothing like having to wait 30 min for simply a drink. I can easily see this place becoming a go-to for student, remote workers or anyone looking for a calm corner to chat with friends while sipping on their favourite drink. I'll definitely be back to try some of their other drinks, maybe their Nutella Latte. read more

Clean & bright cafe, even on a rainy day. My friends said their coffee was good. I got hojicha latte & it had a good balance of sweetness & the tea flavor. Orange tteok is similar to boong-uh-ppang but we (my friends & I) prefer the latter. The place was packed & steady stream of customers came in. The person who took the order could have been friendlier & more welcoming. She looked unhappy working & repeated the orders to us in a barely audible voice. Other than that, overall a good experience. Will come back to get different teas & hang out with friends. read more

!!! Rip off ALERT !!! Drip coffee is $3.50 for a teeny weeny cup (4 oz?). Not even that good or coffee. Drip coffee is probably the highest margin beverage in a coffee shop and they're skimping. Refill is another $3.50. What a rip off. And one last thing. Super aggressive tip shaming at the point of sale. read more

The Matcha latte that I got was really good and sweetened per my request, the pastry was also decent. The interior is also nice and modern, and the service was good. There is a kiosk that you can order from but I decided to just have someone take my order as it was my first time there. This is a good spot to study or socialize. The bathroom is also pretty clean . The parking lot has plenty of parking. The Wi-Fi available is decent to connect your devices and I didn't have any problems. read more

Stopped here in the late morning after seeing some great reviews and were not disappointed! All of the staff members were very friendly, service was quick and the coffee was delicious! They make their vanilla in house which complements the strong coffee really well! read more
