Beautiful location - love the chill atmosphere. Perfect location to catch up with the girls. The staff there is friendly, and the coffee and pastries are quite good. Will definitely be returning.

I needed a break caring for my mom who has Dementia, so I called up my friend and we headed to Rancho Palos Verdes. The costal drive was so relaxing: winding with a panoramic view of the Pacific ocean. When we arrived, the helpful and friendly valet directed us to the public parking lot and the path that led to the coffeehouse. As we walked down the sidewalk, the huge shade trees and landscaping gave off a tranquil and serene feeling. We saw the coffeehouse to our right, before the Terranea resort. What caught my eye was the case of beautiful desserts by the cashier, needless to say, we grabbed one to pair with our coffees. The cashier was super sweet and accomodated our every request with a smile; she even played the part of our photographer. We sat down at a comfy banquette that had pillows: my back thanks you. The light was dimmed which helped give the place a cozy atmosphere. The coffee was good, and the desserts divine! My friend commented that, for the area (RPV), the prices were reasonable. We brought home a fruit tart (YUMMY!) as a treat for my mom, and to help console my reliever (she loved it) who had just lost her grandmother. With my spirit rejuvenated, I was ready to get back to the challenges of caregiving. Thanks Sheila for the girly date, you're a godsend. NOTES: - Self parking available in the lot to the left - valet parking $27 - They are cashless - Afterwards, definitely take a stroll toward Terrenea Cove

I like their ambiance and the variety of treats they have. I came around 30 minutes before closing so i only ordered something sweet that was ready to go and honestly for $16 the tiramisu was not worth it. It came in a chocolate edible cup which was small and didnt really taste like tiramisu but it was cute. I get it, its located at a resort but for a small pastry at $16? I gave it a 3 since the staff were friendly and gave good details on their items

Average coffee. The flavors were a little sweet for my taste, but their espresso was good. Plenty of other snacks inside if you need something, plus tables inside and out for working on a laptop. We went 3 times and the staff seemed uninterested in being there. The only person who was more kind than others seemed new, but that faded when another employee got upset with her for asking too many questions about where menu items were on the screen. At least the service was quick, and it's coffee.

This is the coffee shop located inside of the Terranea resort. Service was very friendly and they have a great selection. Also a nice variety of gifts and granola to take home. They're baked goods are delicious, as is their gelato. I really enjoyed the Matcha lemonade as well. Great option if you are staying at the resort or visiting.

Friendly staff and good coffee flavors. They also have lots of healthy food/snack options but we only got lattes.

Very cute coffee shop at the resort! They have a nice selection of snack and house made packaged treats as well as gelato and pastries. I just went in for a latte and also got an adorable whale cookie for my son. The latte was good, but I wish they offered a small so that it was less milky. Lovely outdoor seating area to enjoy your coffee.

sea beans is a cafe by the front entrance of the Terranea resorts. They probably get most of their customers organically for their location alone. My boyfriend and I were in the area exploring the sea coves and we decided to stop here for a refreshing treat. My boyfriend had an iced 20oz Lemonade ($5.50). They asked if he wanted it sparkling and he said yes, but it was served flat. I had an iced 16oz Mocha Latte with Oak Milk ($7.95) and a Gelato ($5/single scoop) in which I opted for the Tiramisu. The drinks were nothing special. This was a tourist trap and we definitely fell for it. The most disappointing thing of all was the wanna-be gelato. The texture was so awful when they scooped it up, this was definitely no gelato. They didn't even scoop it with the typically gelato scooper. They used a basic ice cream scooper. I definitely wouldn't consider coming back here even if I was in the area. There was indoor and outdoor seating but it was limited and not well maintained with the tables being dirty. Not exactly the image of luxury when it's so pricey.

Nutella Baklava was my wife's choice. She liked it.

Terranea Resort in Rancho Palos Verdes is a lovely place. We had lunch at one of the restaurants at the resort. After having lunch with my lovely cousin and her fantastic family, we then headed to Sea Beans for dessert which is also located at Terranea. They got some awesome dessert selections at this shop. Of course, they carry other stuff as well. My eyes, though, were drawn to all the delicious looking sweets in their display cases. I wanted one of everything. My wife would not let me do that. Boo!!!! I ended up buying the New York Cheesecake with a strawberry on top. Tasted yummy! My wife bought the Nutella Baklava. It tasted quite good, but I'm a cheesecake person so I preferred my choice. My cousin and her family chose to try the gelato, and they said it was also delicious. Sea Beans should be on everyone's list to drop by whenever they are at the beautiful Terranea Resort in Rancho Palos Verdes.

Cute place for coffee breaks

Located at the front entrance of the Terranea resort. They serve coffee, sandwiches, and deserts. Price is comparable to Starbucks. Their deserts are beautifully displayed. We had cheese cake and tiramisu, each is $15. Chocolate cheese cake is no Bueno, very sweet, doughy. Tiramisu is too pretty to be eaten. I was looking at it for a while before breaking it down. The cup is dark chocolate, mascarpone mixed with coffee liquor, coffee macaroon, and lady finger dipped in mascarpone. It is kinda deconstructive version of Tiramisu. Thumb up! There is also an outdoor seating area with fireplace. It is a nice place to get coffee and snacks before or after hiking the beach trails.

Got to enjoy some delicious London Fog and daily salad on a late Friday afternoon to get some work done. Beautiful ambiance and friendly service. Did I mention all their deserts are absolutely eye catching? Will come back for more...

From what I've seen, I'm guessing 99% of the items there are imported from Italy, not including produce- I think (to keep it fresh). I started coming here after a huge shift in my life and didn't just find amazing coffee, but a beautiful community. Also a great place to get gelato for the kids. I do not recommend staying "too" long because it's so good that it gets crowded often. On the other hand, sometimes having so many people there is kind of a beautiful thing on its own too. [Atmosphere]: There's an outdoor patio area and the interior decors include wallpaper with buildings in Italy, a shelf with Ferris cars and children's books, and pictures of Italian cars hanging on the wall. Behind the counter is a poster of the 25th anniversary of The Godfather. [Menu]: Yelp's top highlighted items are Rustico, Caprese, and Cotto. Breakfast panini is only served from open to 11 AM. The cafe also sells coffee, gelato (six different flavors), salads, affogato, and croissants (plain, cream, nutella, and apricot). I had a cup of house brewed coffee and the drink wasn't quite on the same level as other third-wave coffee shops in the South Bay. They sell coffee beans from Danesi Caffe. *** Breakfast panini (Scrambled egg, fontina cheese, tomato a avocado - $10.95): A healthy-tasting sandwich, but it probably needed more sauce to add flavor. Bread was good. Rustico (RUSTICO: 24-month aged prosciutto di Parma smoked scamorza cheese, arugula, & white truffle extra virgin olive oil - $11.95): A solid sandwich, but it definitely lacked the "it" factor. *** A solid local cafe for anyone looking for a healthy Italian panini.

The gelato is velvety & soft with prominent flavor profiles. It's tasty. (Important Note: Bring cash. Card has a small additional fee, about 3.5% extra. Also, there's no flavor sampling.) I arrived at Il Gusto (West Covina) on Monday (around 7:29pm). This location shares the busy parking plaza by 85 Degrees (West Covina). Fortunately, it was easy to find parking this evening. Staff is professional and helpful. Staff worked quickly, and staff answered all my questions. Line went very fast despite a group being ahead of me. As mentioned, I ordered the Medium Cup (2 Scoops - $8). I selected a milk chocolate scoop and a cookies-flavored scoop. Portion sizes are fair and adequate for its quality. The flavors are delicious. The milk chocolate scoop reminded me of rich, dark chocolate milk. Its consistency felt very velvety, and its strong chocolate flavor almost teetered towards chocolate brownie territory. The cookie-flavored scoop was very tasty as well. This scoop flowed smoothly, and I happily enjoyed the soft cookie chunks within. This had a milder taste, but it felt very satisfying. This gelato was not icy; rather, it had delightful flavors while flowing like chilled silk. Concerning ambiance, Il Gusto (West Covina) shows genuine effort. The location is very clean and well-ventilated (refreshingly chill). I also enjoyed the Elvis Presley music. However, the music was occasionally drowned out from the loud electronic buzzing/humming sounds from the kitchen's containers. Also, some portions of the walls and floors looked scuffed with black marks. Il Gusto (West Covina) is also fairly small. It has three reflective tables inside; customer-only restroom; and three nearby shaded tables outside. Overall, I had a pleasant experience at Il Gusto (West Covina). Its prices are adequate, the gelato is a good quality, and the staff is hardworking & helpful. If nearby, I recommend. 4.6 out of 5

Bacio di Latte recently opened a location where I'm from, but I haven't gotten around to trying the place because of its ridiculously long line. We strolled into the storefront around 6:45pm. Since we were the only customers at the time, I took my time trying as many samples that piqued my interest. I tried the salted caramel, strawberry cheesecake, caffe & caramel latte, buttercream pretzel, and fragola super latte. The consistency of the gelato was smooth and creamy, and the flavors were bold and pretty spot on. I honestly couldn't have gone wrong with any flavor, but I settled for a piccolo (smallest) cup of two flavors: caffe & caramel latte and fragola super latte. Particularly the fragola super latte was noteworthy because it reminded me of strawberry milk. Absolutely fantastic!
