Everyone in Palos Verdes should be extremely grateful to have such a deliciously , high-quality coffee shop in their midst. Their style is fresh & tidy, always maintaining a very cleanly appeal. The service is always amazing. All of the staff are able to banter & make a small part of the day really great. The service is quick & the product is legit. The espresso cloud is fire , couldn't ask for anything better. The matcha cloud is the reigning champ though , it's my favorite matcha ever. I've never tried better & it's enjoyable in all its forms. Here is the only place I can enjoy an unsweetened matcha or an iced americano, because their drinks are smooth and delicious. The drinks are fairly priced & the cups appear to be smaller , 12 oz or 12oz of drink with about 4 oz of room for drinks with any creamy topping. Wishing this place many more years ! read more

Been getting into coffee lately, and Misc just gets it! Tucked into a corner of the Palos Verdes Promenade, Misc was easy to miss as they don't have signage (yet?). The interior design is modern and sleek with their white marble contemporary vibe going on. Seating is plentiful and the shop is sizable for a coffee spot. The cashier was sweet and answered the questions I had with a smile - can't really ask for more on their level of service. She guided me into my selection of their Honey Oat Latte, which I enjoyed! With a strong note of coffee and slightly more than a touch of sweet, the drink was well balanced and just the right taste and sweetness. YMMV, but I loved it. It seems that the specialty lattes may be locked to a 12oz cup. I didn't inquire about a 16oz sizing (offered on other beverages) but regret not doing so as I finished the latte before I got home. Well worth the top spot in my coffee rotation when in the area! read more

Love this new-ish café in PV. Great espresso and I really like the mug they use as it keeps the drink warm for a lot longer. Perfect for me as I like to enjoy my coffee slowly while reading a book or something. The minimalist décor is also nice. I'm sure I'll be back often particularly since their hours are a bit longer even on weekends, unlike other cafés. read more

The banana matcha latte was really good. Finding this place and driving around was annoying. The place was packed with most people taking up chairs with no drinks. Had to wait while standing I could you enjoy my drink in the actual store. But I'm still rating the shop 4 start due to their drink being really good. I did also order a latte which was a total miss. read more

The staff here is amazing! Super nice and sweet. It's nice to have a local spot where the drinks are tasted and you can hang out for a while. My favorite is the strawberry matcha cloud latte. Toffee nut coffee was pretty good but everything else was fairly average. I like their cream in the matcha but it didn't have the strongest flavor. Aesthetically pleasant cafe but it's pretty small in terms of a working space. I was a little bummed that the coffee size wasn't as filled as the matcha - if you look at the photo you can see the difference. Overall not sure if it's worth the drive up to PV the drinks look pretty in photos. read more

Tucked away cafe that has great vibes. Friendly staff with a pretty + clean interior with a great menu selection. Tea lattes don't appear to be able to have milk subbed out which is unfortunate but the lattes themselves are awesome! Def recc check out this spot if you're around. A new aesthetic coffee shop recently opened in PV Mall this past August, and it's a great visit for coffee lovers. I believe it's a sister coffee shop from their "Momos coffee" in Busan, Korea which won many awards in the bean roasters world according to their poster. I tried their espresso, which is crafted with blend of beans from Brazil, Guatemala, and Peru (according to the receipt). The flavor was smooth with rich chocolate notes with a smooth, full-bodied texture. My friend got the strawberry green tea cloud which she said she really liked. The service was exceptional. While I didn't catch the barista's name, he was incredibly kind and thoughtful, making the experience all the more enjoyable. Definitely a place I'll be returning to! read more

Easy parking since it's located at mall - except there were no signs to lead to it - so we had to walk around to find it. It's ok though, I got some steps in! Anyhow I got a hot cloud toffee coffee and also an iced strawberry milk latte. Both Very good! Staff were very friendly and patient! Place was very clean, packed, so there were no seats left, so we decided to head back to Terranea resort where we are staying. I'll be back definitely when we come visit again PV. read more

I really love this place! There is ample seating indoors, and a lot of good options on the menu. The barista, Brian, was super helpful. I ended up getting the strawberry Matcha cloud drink, and it was the perfect amount of sweetness! Decided on getting the Matcha croissant, and so glad I did! Also got the cheddar and chive scone, but it was a bit too dry for my taste. Another barista, Mina, was super kind, and offered my daughter a little sample of the strawberry milk. I'm definitely going to try the cloud toffee drink next time! It looks like they are coming up on a year of being at this location, and I look forward to frequenting this place in the future! read more

finally a shop that sells einspänner in the south bay! located on the first floor right by good stuff i ordered the cloud pumpkin spice einspänner $8. the price is a bit on the higher end.. for a 16oz i believe. but, def will visit again to try the cloud espresso the shop is beautiful. very atheistically pleasing. lots of seating inside. there is also seating avail outside i love that they support local businesses, sweet wheat and old ferry donut! service was great. very friendly and welcoming. parking: located in the promenade PV. parking garage. read more

Looks nice but the drinks themselves are not that good. Seemed confused making an espresso tonic and there was so little coffee it was basically slightly brown tonic water. I appreciate that it's local, and I'm sure the mall is happy to have some new businesses, but it's not worth making a drive all the way up the hill for me. I think this might be a better choice if you live in the immediate vicinity. Also, the tables are all occupied by high school students tapping away on their keyboards and it's honestly kinda depressing. read more

Finally! A cute cafe in the PV mall. Nice place to catch up with a friend or get a little bit of work done. It's a family owned cafe, and the service has always been great. So far I've had the Cold Brew Cloud and the Iced Cloud Strawberry Matcha. The latter is definitely my favorite -- their matcha is smooth and the drink wasn't too sweet, it was perfect! Staff were pleasant and patient as we decided what to get. Ended up getting the mint n chip and pistachio. Both flavors had a natural taste to it, which was definitely appreciated compared to the typical artificial tastes. On the other side of the street you have some pretty cool views - so one stop for both dessert and a sunset. Would come back!

Staff came out as soon as I walked in, and the doorway bell rang. Interior has three small round tables and wooden stools with counter along the window. Exterior has a couple large square metal tables with chairs. Those look like they're shared with the other businesses in the shopping center. So many flavors to choose from, and they all look good. I ordered an Affogato with a vanilla bean gelato and a small scoop of the Chai tea latte gelato. The Affogato was served in a small plastic cup with plastic spoon. The small scoop of gelato was served in a small paper cup with an even smaller plastic spoon. Both were delicious. The consistency of the gelato is smooth, as expected. Service was friendly and efficient. My order was ready and I was rung up in minutes. Parking: Free, shared shopping center.

I recall having an apple cinnamon cold brew back in the fall over a year ago and really enjoyed it. So take this as a sign to try their experimental bevs that aren't on the traditional menu if you get a chance! The vibe of the shop gives minimalist - nothing flashy about this place, but it's clean and you can even purchase merch from there too. One major con: small, cramped parking lot. For this reason, I'm usually in for a quick pick me up and out.

He helped the customers with an enthusiastic spark, while preparing the food and working at the cashier counter--which takes a lot of effort to do. He is a hard worker, and I hope he gets paid well. I would also encourage for the staff, first and foremost--improve quality of the food. As mentioned on the top of this review, the takoyaki I ordered didn't have any striking qualities. But of course, I am not a professional takoyaki critic. Hence, I am only explaining the taste with my own personal experiance of tasting takoyaki. The takoyaki has a sweet tangy sauce, the exterior was very soft, and the squid was quite small, not fulfilling. Tried the mango smoothie, it was mushy and not as cold. Unfortunately, that wasn't of my interest either. If you are into pineapples juice with seeds and mushy texture like a slushie, you may like it better than me. My second critique is that the food took a long time to be made. Though I can respect minor inconveniences, I also hope that the cafe takes the idea of fixing this issue. Though I will admit, the cafe is decorated quite well. What I love is the vibe of the atmosphere, which is a mix of art deco and a soft pastel boba shop--which is a unique style compared to other boba shops I've seen. I LOVE the geometrical patterns and decorations and the overall concept. Feels so cozy inside, with plushies on the seats and the fun chairs and tables. My uncle made a joke about wanting to buy that long skinny table for his home. There are other juice drink options, such as mango and watermelon. I ordered a milk tea with boba. There are options for sweetness and amount of ice. There was only one employee that I could see. He was professional and efficient. Because there weren't any other customers, my drink took less than five minutes. It's a small space, but there's bench seating on both sides, and a couple tall tables in the center of the space. There's also plenty of outdoor seating. Your drink is served in a substantial plastic cup with a lid that you poke your straw through. My drink was delicious. The boba was soft and chewy. Parking: Free, shared, underground outdoor mall parking.
