I loved this cute cafe! It's located in the PV mall. It has a very clean, modern aesthetic. I liked the open concept as it felt quite spacious inside. I feel like there aren't too many places in the South Bay that offer matcha einspanners so was excited when I saw that they have it here! I got the matcha cloud and it was really good! Not bitter at all and super smooth:) The drinks also came out super fast. FYI for those who are more sensitive to caffeine, I do feel like it is heavily caffeinated for a matcha drink. There are a few individual tables inside as well as a main long table running through the middle of the cafe. There is also some outdoor seating. It feels like a nice place to catch up with friends or even get some studying done. read more

Loved the vibes of this place! I ordered a regular matcha, and if you genuinely like matcha meaning that you care about the color, the umami, and that distinct matcha flavor, don't come here. The pictures of the matcha in the reviews were a little deceiving (color-wise), so I thought it would be higher quality matcha v not wasn't :/ read more

Omg the service is so nice. Everyone there is so welcoming and friendly!! The ambiance is nice enough to study but many people just go there for 30 minute sessions! The food is limited though, my fave are the scones though!! Cloud matcha supremacy!! Misc Coffee is a new modern coffee shop in PV mall. The drinks here are delicious! I got the strawberry matcha and my friend got the cloud cold brew which were both yummy. It's a bit on the pricier side for a drink and pastry. My matcha was $8 and the croissant was $6.50. The staff was nice and friendly. There is free parking in the parking structure. Plus lots of seating if you would like to work inside. I would recommend this place to other people. read more

The drinks here are sooo good!! So happy a good trendy einspanner coffee/matcha shop opened up in South Bay! It's located in a plaza with plenty of free parking in the structure. We came on a Sunday morning, and there was a short line but the service is fast. They have a short and simple menu and their cloud drinks caught our eye since we love a good einspanner. We ordered the Cloud Matcha and Cloud Espresso. Both drinks were so good and the perfect amount of sweetness and milk! Their cream top is on the thinner side so it's not too heavy and overpowering. It goes really well with the drink and adds a nice creaminess. 10/10!! They also have some pastries and donuts supplied from Old Ferry Donut. The inside has a minimalist vibe with white marble and wooden tables. There's plenty of seating to chat with friends or do some work. There's free wifi available and bathrooms as well. Overall, would definitely come back and next time I'll try their cloud strawberry matcha! read more

Everyone in Palos Verdes should be extremely grateful to have such a deliciously , high-quality coffee shop in their midst. Their style is fresh & tidy, always maintaining a very cleanly appeal. The service is always amazing. All of the staff are able to banter & make a small part of the day really great. The service is quick & the product is legit. The espresso cloud is fire , couldn't ask for anything better. The matcha cloud is the reigning champ though , it's my favorite matcha ever. I've never tried better & it's enjoyable in all its forms. Here is the only place I can enjoy an unsweetened matcha or an iced americano, because their drinks are smooth and delicious. The drinks are fairly priced & the cups appear to be smaller , 12 oz or 12oz of drink with about 4 oz of room for drinks with any creamy topping. Wishing this place many more years ! read more

Been getting into coffee lately, and Misc just gets it! Tucked into a corner of the Palos Verdes Promenade, Misc was easy to miss as they don't have signage (yet?). The interior design is modern and sleek with their white marble contemporary vibe going on. Seating is plentiful and the shop is sizable for a coffee spot. The cashier was sweet and answered the questions I had with a smile - can't really ask for more on their level of service. She guided me into my selection of their Honey Oat Latte, which I enjoyed! With a strong note of coffee and slightly more than a touch of sweet, the drink was well balanced and just the right taste and sweetness. YMMV, but I loved it. It seems that the specialty lattes may be locked to a 12oz cup. I didn't inquire about a 16oz sizing (offered on other beverages) but regret not doing so as I finished the latte before I got home. Love this new-ish café in PV. Great espresso and I really like the mug they use as it keeps the drink warm for a lot longer. Perfect for me as I like to enjoy my coffee slowly while reading a book or something. The minimalist décor is also nice. I'm sure I'll be back often particularly since their hours are a bit longer even on weekends, unlike other cafés. read more

Toffee nut coffee was pretty good but everything else was fairly average. I like their cream in the matcha but it didn't have the strongest flavor. Aesthetically pleasant cafe but it's pretty small in terms of a working space. I was a little bummed that the coffee size wasn't as filled as the matcha - if you look at the photo you can see the difference. Overall not sure if it's worth the drive up to PV the drinks look pretty in photos. read more

Tucked away cafe that has great vibes. Friendly staff with a pretty + clean interior with a great menu selection. Tea lattes don't appear to be able to have milk subbed out which is unfortunate but the lattes themselves are awesome! Def recc check out this spot if you're around. A new aesthetic coffee shop recently opened in PV Mall this past August, and it's a great visit for coffee lovers. I believe it's a sister coffee shop from their "Momos coffee" in Busan, Korea which won many awards in the bean roasters world according to their poster. I tried their espresso, which is crafted with blend of beans from Brazil, Guatemala, and Peru (according to the receipt). The flavor was smooth with rich chocolate notes with a smooth, full-bodied texture. My friend got the strawberry green tea cloud which she said she really liked. The service was exceptional. While I didn't catch the barista's name, he was incredibly kind and thoughtful, making the experience all the more enjoyable. Definitely a place I'll be returning to! read more

The banana matcha latte was really good. Finding this place and driving around was annoying. The place was packed with most people taking up chairs with no drinks. Had to wait while standing I could you enjoy my drink in the actual store. But I'm still rating the shop 4 start due to their drink being really good. Easy parking since it's located at mall - except there were no signs to lead to it - so we had to walk around to find it. It's ok though, I got some steps in! Anyhow I got a hot cloud toffee coffee and also an iced strawberry milk latte. Both Very good! Staff were very friendly and patient! Place was very clean, packed, so there were no seats left, so we decided to head back to Terranea resort where we are staying. I'll be back definitely when we come visit again PV. read more

I really love this place! There is ample seating indoors, and a lot of good options on the menu. The barista, Brian, was super helpful. I ended up getting the strawberry Matcha cloud drink, and it was the perfect amount of sweetness! Decided on getting the Matcha croissant, and so glad I did! Also got the cheddar and chive scone, but it was a bit too dry for my taste. Another barista, Mina, was super kind, and offered my daughter a little sample of the strawberry milk. I'm definitely going to try the cloud toffee drink next time! It looks like they are coming up on a year of being at this location, and I look forward to frequenting this place in the future! read more

finally a shop that sells einspänner in the south bay! located on the first floor right by good stuff i ordered the cloud pumpkin spice einspänner $8. the price is a bit on the higher end.. for a 16oz i believe. but, def will visit again to try the cloud espresso the shop is beautiful. very atheistically pleasing. lots of seating inside. there is also seating avail outside i love that they support local businesses, sweet wheat and old ferry donut! service was great. very friendly and welcoming. parking: located in the promenade PV. parking garage. read more

Looks nice but the drinks themselves are not that good. Seemed confused making an espresso tonic and there was so little coffee it was basically slightly brown tonic water. I appreciate that it's local, and I'm sure the mall is happy to have some new businesses, but it's not worth making a drive all the way up the hill for me. I think this might be a better choice if you live in the immediate vicinity. Know that this is a very busy morning coffee shop so patience and time is important especially during the summer and high travel tourist periods. We try to keep that in mind when we make the trip to Terranea and plan a coffee break.
