thI really liked the cloud espresso -even with the cream foam, I could still taste the espresso and it was good creamy. Not overtly sweet either. My friend liked her toffee coffee as well! Haven't tried their baked goods yet. Minimalistic vibe inside with adequate seating and nice outdoor seating in spring and summer time.
I am so glad this mall is getting so many fun new places like Misc coffee! This place had a steady flow of business people, high schoolers, and families the whole time I was there. But the line moves quickly! Being someone who frequents coffee shops, they have all the "expected" drinks but then so many fun things to make it fun and new - like a fridge with fun non-coffee drinks (I got a coconut water with chunks of coconut in it) and pastries and cookies that feel as special as a one-of-a-kind offering so you want to try them all because you know other coffee shops don't have them! There was a ton of seating at a variety of stations inside and more outside. I sat at the long table indoors and there was this R2-D2-like character that I thought was someone's personal humidifier or speaker, but it was a charging station for customers to use! The folks that work there have a great vibe and are so kind! See you soon!
I love coming to Misc Coffee in Palos Verdes! The lattes are consistently delicious, the lavender latte is my favorite. Everything tastes fresh and high quality, and the service is always friendly. It's such a nice spot to grab a coffee and enjoy the area. They offer fresh made pastries, speciality drinks, foam, and have areas to work. I believe they also offer online ordering and some meals like avocado toast.
Finally decided to come here after they just announced a banana milk latte! Lots of parking, there is a good amount of seating inside and outside but this place does get busy! Inside is minimally decorated but looks very curated, meant to be a space for people to work in. Service was okay. Nothing extraordinary. They were quick with fulfilling my order despite the busy rush. -1 star for not having any low calorie milk options. They only serve whole & oat according to the man who assisted me. The banana latte was VERY good and I would come back and get it more, but it'll have to be on a day I can afford the calories. Definitely worth trying out!
This is the new cafe in the Promenade Mall. They have a wide selection including einspanners. Basically 'cloud' drinks. A lot of people were getting them so we had to try it ourselves. We didn't regret it! We also got their Spanish latte which has a nice touch of cinnamon. As for the ambiance, it was busy and loud. Lots of people were in there waiting in line or socializing at one of their many tables. I saw a lot of people studying or working on their laptops too. Seems like a solid place to study if you're looking for a place! Definitely coming back to try their other creations
I've been to this coffee shop multiple times in the past. I recently went with my sister and a friend. I always get their cloud matcha, which is so good. Definitely recommend it. It does get pretty busy with sitting. Their service is really nice. They're pretty quick with serving the drinks. Staff are really friendly as well. This spot is located in the plaza by the ground floor. So definitely park in the parking garage in the lower level. Love coming back here from time to time.
Came here after some pho to get some matcha! Matcha was very high quality and there was a big line but it went by pretty fast so the service is good and attentive. Got the banana matcha and it was really good, my only negative of this place is the price to value ratio. The cups are small, maybe like 12oz or 10oz, so with ice your actually drink is pretty small and this is priced at a premium so definitely wouldnt come here unless there's nothing else around. I did see lots of students working here so a good spot maybe to work and study.
Misc Coffee is a solid coffee shop in the PV Mall to get your matcha fix. I got the Cloud Coconut Matcha and it was super refreshing!
My friend and I go to Misc. coffee all the time when we want to study, chat, and drink great quality drinks. The baristas are always really quick with making your order, and polite. The honey oat latte and vanilla latte are sweet but not overpoweringly so, which I enjoy. My friend said that the cloud strawberry Matcha ranked among the best she's tried at different establishments because it was not overly sweet, and you could taste Matcha instead of artificial flavoring. One thing to know is that it is always very cold inside the store -- refreshing for hot days, but don't forget to bring your sweater or jacket!
It's a nice place to sit, sip and work before or after hitting the gym. I usually get the matcha here since it's ceremonial grade. The prices are fair considering you're in PV. There's a good amount of places to sit and, it's usually full of people working/studying. The noise level stays pretty low, which I appreciate. I also appreciate that their power banks are always charged. Everyone who has ever helped me here has great customer service. They make eye contact with me and always ask for my name. If I'm sitting in, I always get my drink in a glass cup.
Cute clean coffee shop in the shopping mall. Its on the 1st floor back near a toy story. This place was a little busy but nothing crazy. The usual matcha and coffee lol. Both top quality drinks
Friendly and quick service. Came to PV Mall so my toddler could walk around and get out of the house. Decided to grab a cloud espresso at Misc and it was the perfect amount of caffeine to get the day started! Cafe itself was bright and clean. Several people enjoying their coffee and working. I would definitely be back to try some of their other drinks.
Beautiful minimalistic cafe. Stop over here after exploring the PV area! I'm so happy there's a matcha and coffee spot so close to home in this mall! Quick service, and a bathroom inside. The matcha cloud is creamy and delicious. After drinking many of their matchas I decided to try something different. I got the yuzu, which had strong passionfruit, so tropical feeling in it. Great if you're looking for a juice type of drink. It's refreshing! I said "less ice" but it's still quite a bit. Not so much of a fan of strawberry matcha, it's too sweet (makes me think of the Hershey's strawberry syrup-but def go for it if that's what you like!) I often see lots of people working there on their laptops. Def see this a spot for relaxing with friends or a date!

Tried this coffee shop since I was in the shopping center and it did not disappoint! The barista was very sweet & helpful! The drinks my group and I got were also so delicious, also seemed like a chill spot to hang out or do some work in as well! I'll definitely hope to pop back in again when I'm back in the area! The Honey Oat latte is delicious and even sweeter with the foam heart! My dog and I were drawn to Misc coffee when the baristas inside waved to us, inviting us in. The place is super zen, modern and the coffee and service matched the cool and relaxing vibe! Go check it out! read more

Finally, a good coffee shop on the hill! I ordered the iced cloud espresso with oat milk and it was amazing! Super creamy, not too sweet & the taste was perfect excited to try the different drinks too! I went with my friend who lives in Santa Monica and she is looking forward to coming back because she really liked the drink too. I also came back three days later with my sister and she loved it as well. I'm excited to bring more people to try it because it really is that good - it's hard to find a good coffee shop! The staff is so nice, welcoming & friendly & answers any questions you have. And the location is very aesthetic & perfect for catching up with a friend or doing some work. Definitely recommend checking this coffee shop out, it won't disappoint! read more

Wanted to try this place as it had good reviews and seemed like an asian cafe which typically has better coffee and matcha drinks than other local cafe/restaurants. I got what I think was called the strawberry matcha cloud latte and it was pretty good. It wasn't strong on matcha and I think they used strawberry milk for the strawberry part which was good but different. Typically most places use like a fresh made syrup or fresh strawberries but I think they used strawberry milk which gave a different flavor. I thought it was yummy but the prices for the drink did not seem fair. This one in particular as it had quite the upcharge for the cloud and strawberry part I think it was $8. My boyfriend got a coffee based drink and thought it was decent. Our whole party liked our drinks we just thought the pricing was a bit excessive being there'd only one drink size and you get done with it pretty quick! read more

Very strange atmosphere. Almost like the people inside were statues. I couldn't even talk to my mom who I grabbed coffee with- outside seating was much nicer in the sun but that's courtesy of the mall. Decent coffee, nice to have a boutique coffee shop in that mall and see it bustling! read more

I love this coffee house. Staff is incredibly friendly, atmosphere is perfect to come alone and work or share a drink with a friend. They also just started offering Virtu vegan protein puddings which I've loved for years in LA but hadn't seen in the South Bay. Not every coffee spot on the hill feels as welcoming as Misc and today my barista heard my day was rough and gave me a free drink. I already loved them and this made me share my love on Yelp. I really hope they make it. They take time to try to learn your name, they have delicious drinks, and just have an all-around positive vibe read more

Misc coffee is in PV mall. There's a huge parking lot in the back of the mall. When you get here, I highly recommend ordering online by scanning their QR menu. Sometimes the lines for this spot can get really long, and it does take them a bit to make drinks. Their interior is super modern, and there are plenty of seats available. But keep in mind that it can get a bit crowded, especially during peak hours. I've tried their signature cloud latte, and it's absolutely delicious. It's a bit sweet and creamy, so I only get it when I want to treat myself. You can really taste the quality of their beans and the coffee itself looks so Instagram worthy. If you're planning to visit PV mall, skip today's morning coffee and grab Misc instead! read more
