But what I really want to highlight is the staff at Sea Beans. Today's experience was with Izabella and Sam, and last week I was helped by Austin, who was just as kind. I have a lot of tattoos, and I'm used to encountering judgment in certain spaces because of it. I didn't feel that once here. I felt genuinely welcomed, and that matters more than people realize. What stood out most is that the kindness didn't feel performative. It felt natural, like these are just people who treat others well as a baseline, not as a service tactic. There's a real shortage of that in the world right now. When you receive food, coffee, or even just a smile from someone who's in a good place themselves, you feel that energy transfer., I feel it clearly here.
