It's a locally owned coffee shop, the owner is super nice and has done well with the business. Expanding to several locations. I took my kids to guitar lesson and spilled my drink, I was so tired and came back to order another one. The barista made me one on the house. We frequent all of their locations, they didn't have to and it was such a nice gesture. It made my day, bc spilling a full cup of coffee you just bought is so frustrating. My first time here, wanted to try something new. Nice place, clean and modern, good vibe. The coffee was excellent, but, the price for a small flat white, ouch. Not sure why a full tip is expected (I am continually baffled by the rise in demands for a full tip for basic services, not a sit-down meal). I walked in, ordered a black drip coffee and grabbed a bag of their Pacific Coast 50/50 Colombia and Guatemala washed. The drip coffee was great! Fast forward to this morning - I wanted to finish this write-up after I tried their beans. I usually stick to lighter/medium roasts and this was it! I've tried Chemex and a crummy espresso machine - both turned out amazing! Wish this place were closer to me. If a shop cares enough about their product offering that even their drip brew is good, there's a good chance they do a great job on roasting their beans. Stopped by Offset Coffee in Redondo Beach today and enjoyed the relaxed, easygoing vibe. I ordered a cortado, and it was well made - smooth, balanced, and nicely espresso-forward with the classic ratio done right. The espresso came through clean and rich. I could've used a triple today, but the coffee itself was still very enjoyable. Parking wasn't bad either - especially with the holidays right now, there's free 4-hour parking, which made the visit even easier. There's also a farmers market across the street on Sundays, and the beach is just a short walk away, which makes this a great stop before or after being outside. I love it when one of my favorite coffee shops keeps expanding :) I've been coming to Offset for a few years now and it is so nice to have one here in Rivera Village. The coffee and service are just as good as the OG location only with more places to sit LOL I came a couple of times this week and had my favorite drink both times... Flat White :) If you are a Flat White fan be sure to get one here, they make one of the best in the South Bay!! The coffee is better than Starbucks and I don't think you'll find a lot of syrupy drinks here either. Plenty of seats available while you wait or use while in the coffee shop. Just went in to support a local coffee shop but will never return. 3 employees trying to explain that they have heavy cream but I am not allowed to add it to my drip coffee. A friend and I had coffee here 4 days ago and despite the nice decor, the service and drinks were mediocre. We ordered a flat white and vanilla matcha latte and they came out barely warm. We requested to have the drinks microwaved and the table next ro us also chimed in that their drinks were also delivered lukewarm. The staff said the drinks needed to be remade and could not be microwaved. We felt bad that the product was being wasted, but appreciated the gesture. However, when our remade drinks were brought out, the presentation made us sad---sure the drinks were warm now, but no designs on top and tasted watery and showed zero effort or care. To add insult to injury, they forgot to add vanilla to the matcha. We both commented that our drinks were bad and my friend said "Forget it, clearly they don't care". Very disappointing drinks and service by Offset. Expected so much more given what we had heard about this place. Hopefully the management will reach out to make this right, but not holding my breath. With so many wonderful coffee houses in the area, Offset needs to know that in this economy wih drinks over $7, the little gestures matter a lot! read more

Now roasting beans in the Riviera Village. I've been a big fan of Offset Coffee Roasters ever since they opened up their first location in Torrance in 2018. It's so awesome to see that this small coffee shop business now has five locations (Torrance, El Segundo, Manhattan Beach, Hermosa Beach and now Redondo Beach!) I really like this Redondo Beach location. It's located at where Pie Hole used to be and the space is large. It includes both indoor and outdoor seating and I believe this is the largest Offset Coffee so far. I love how spacious it is and it's perfect spot to just relax and sip a latte. I found all my favorites here and enjoyed my go-to hazelnut latte as well as almond croissant. The latte art was on point too and I was really impressed. I definitely can see myself coming to this location and am really excited to have them in Riviera Village! read more

I swear bro I be seeing this place everywhere. But that's fire since their coffee is so good. There's hella good coffee sports in Redondo. U got the peets here, coffee cartel, and other stuffs. But this place was super nice since it's right next to Rock n brews. Went here after there and the place was great. A wonderful addition to the Riviera. It's the largest of their locations (I think anyway, haven't been to Hermosa yet) and I love it! Plenty of space for working and they even have an outdoor back patio! I usually get the vanilla nitro cold brew but this visit I tried the strawberry matcha latte. I asked the barista if it was really sweet and she said no, but I did find it a bit too sweet. I would try it again, but just ask for less sweetener. I also got my usual avocado toast. The only downside is having to pay for parking, but there is plenty of it. I'll def be back! read more

The "strawberry" matcha was terrible honestly. Artificial syrup and the cold foam was non-existent, also veryyyy sweet! They didn't even put the dried strawberries I saw in other photos. For $7 before tax I was highly disappointed. Make a fresh muddled syrup AND THEN you can charge $7. I haven't tried the espresso but it seems to be popular so if I return I will try that. read more

This is a weird one. The cappuccino was good, the servers were friendly, but... I went in with a gift certificate. I ordered my cappuccino and a hot chocolate, and handed over a printed QR code (I had a digital gift card sent to my work email, so I decided to bring a paper print out). While the server was entering the code, I dropped a dollar bill in the tip jar. As he finished the transaction, I noticed that he added a dollar tip and didn't say anything to me. He started to say something then cleared the screen really quickly. It was very awkward, and I wasn't sure what to say. Even if I had said "Dude, I already tipped you," it's still not okay that he added a tip and didn't ask. It's not the fact that I double tipped, the two dollars isn't going to kill me. It made me really uncomfortable, and is bothering me still today. I don't know what a better resolution would've been. Should I have said something? Assumed he really needed the money? Yay another offset! I love their seasonals! I'm currently obsessed with their macadamia mocha latte. Now i don't think they have macadamia milk but I hope they do because I love it. Either way the macadamia mocha is great so try it while it's available. The inside is really big and clean at this location with some seating and cool art. This location has a beautiful interior with lots of natural lighting, making it a nice place to chill and/or study. They have an extensive menu spanning from typical lattes to dirty horchatas. We were drawn to their unique seasonal menu, which featured a macadamia mocha and strawberry matcha einspanner. I personally found that the cream top for the einspanner was not as thick as typical einspanner drinks and the strawberry flavor was a bit diluted by the milk. Their mocha had a strong macadamia flavor and was not too sweet. Staff was helpful with explaining differences between their drinks and specialties. read more

I asked what the cashier recommended iced or hot. She recommended iced. I went with the iced vanilla latte for $6 such a great price. The coffee also was ready quick. The coffee was good !!! I've been a longtime customer of Offset at their Redondo Beach location. I vist the shop upon opening on a daily basis. Their staff is attentive, friendly and wonderful and their brew is one of the better for the area. My issue is with the owners / management. My issue is with their points program. Like most other coffee shops, Offset has a rewards program of collecting points through purchases. Until 2 weeks ago, I had collected over 240 points on their system. One morning I walk in and find that my points had dropped by 50+. I was politely informed by staff that unused points drop off after 6 months. No where is it posted in their stores, or on their website, saying that unused points will be deleted after 6 months. I brought this up to a friendly member of their staff and was informed that they had spoken to management and that my points would soon be replaced. As of this morning, 02-14-2026 / 2weeks later, these points have not been replaced. It's also my understanding that this is not the first time this has happened with other customers at other locations and that the owners/senior management have not taken action to replace those other customers points. This shows a serious lack of good business ethics on the part of the owners and senior management for the loyalty of their customers. Hopefully one day soon they will pull their collective heads out of their collective backsides and maybe do the right thing. read more

I stopped by Offset Coffee for a lavender oat milk latte -- the drink itself was decent, but the customer service completely ruined the experience. I walked in and wasn't greeted -- no smile, no hello, nothing. I stood at the counter for about three minutes, literally right in front of them, clearly visible, while the staff just kept making other drinks and ignored me. The guy who eventually took my order apologized for the wait (which I appreciated), but I should've been acknowledged the moment I walked in. The girl who made my drink looked absolutely miserable -- no greeting, no smile, not even a simple "have a nice day." The whole vibe was cold, unwelcoming, and uncomfortable. I originally wanted Hi-Fi Espresso right next door but couldn't find parking and decided to give Offset a try. Big mistake -- next time I'll take the extra few minutes to park and go to Hi-Fi instead. Definitely won't be back! read more
