I stopped by Offset Coffee for a lavender oat milk latte -- the drink itself was decent, but the customer service completely ruined the experience. I walked in and wasn't greeted -- no smile, no hello, nothing. I stood at the counter for about three minutes, literally right in front of them, clearly visible, while the staff just kept making other drinks and ignored me. The guy who eventually took my order apologized for the wait (which I appreciated), but I should've been acknowledged the moment I walked in. The girl who made my drink looked absolutely miserable -- no greeting, no smile, not even a simple "have a nice day." The whole vibe was cold, unwelcoming, and uncomfortable. I originally wanted Hi-Fi Espresso right next door but couldn't find parking and decided to give Offset a try. Big mistake -- next time I'll take the extra few minutes to park and go to Hi-Fi instead. Definitely won't be back! read more

A friend and I had coffee here 4 days ago and despite the nice decor, the service and drinks were mediocre. We ordered a flat white and vanilla matcha latte and they came out barely warm. We requested to have the drinks microwaved and the table next ro us also chimed in that their drinks were also delivered lukewarm. The staff said the drinks needed to be remade and could not be microwaved. We felt bad that the product was being wasted, but appreciated the gesture. However, when our remade drinks were brought out, the presentation made us sad---sure the drinks were warm now, but no designs on top and tasted watery and showed zero effort or care. To add insult to injury, they forgot to add vanilla to the matcha. We both commented that our drinks were bad and my friend said "Forget it, clearly they don't care". Very disappointing drinks and service by Offset. Expected so much more given what we had heard about this place. Hopefully the management will reach out to make this right, but not holding my breath. With so many wonderful coffee houses in the area, Offset needs to know that in this economy wih drinks over $7, the little gestures matter a lot! read more

This place is an all-around solid coffee shop. The coffees are great, the food (particularly the bacon egg and cheese biscuit, but my wife loves the avocado toast) is great, and there are plenty of tables to sit to get work done. There is good wifi, but the best part is the people who work there. They're incredibly friendly and efficient, which makes me happy to go back and support the shop. The only downside would be the parking, but I live close enough to walk, so it's not the end of the world for me. All-in-all, I would recommend this place for your next beverage. read more

I've been a longtime customer of Offset at their Redondo Beach location. I vist the shop upon opening on a daily basis. Their staff is attentive, friendly and wonderful and their brew is one of the better for the area. My issue is with the owners / management. My issue is with their points program. Like most other coffee shops, Offset has a rewards program of collecting points through purchases. Until 2 weeks ago, I had collected over 240 points on their system. One morning I walk in and find that my points had dropped by 50+. I was politely informed by staff that unused points drop off after 6 months. No where is it posted in their stores, or on their website, saying that unused points will be deleted after 6 months. I brought this up to a friendly member of their staff and was informed that they had spoken to management and that my points would soon be replaced. As of this morning, 02-14-2026 / 2weeks later, these points have not been replaced. It's also my understanding that this is not the first time this has happened with other customers at other locations and that the owners/senior management have not taken action to replace those other customers points. This shows a serious lack of good business ethics on the part of the owners and senior management for the loyalty of their customers. Hopefully one day soon they will pull their collective heads out of their collective backsides and maybe do the right thing. read more

After coming to this offset location a couple of times, I can honestly say it has quickly become one of my favorites! The staff is always friendly and service is quick. The lines had been super long and slow but these last few times, it's been moving quickly and the coffee is always perfect! Although they don't have many food options to choose from, they have plenty of pastries and toasts, including gluten free options! I also appreciate how fresh their bags of coffee beans have been, I make sure to pick up a bag from time to time since their coffee is so good! If you're in the Redondo area, hit up Offset because they will not disappoint. read more

The coffee is almost great -- there are some good flavour additions and they're quite tasty. Unfortunately, they've gone the route of whole milk or milk alternatives; so, if you're a 1% or non-fat milk kind of person, you're out of luck. When the service is on point, it's fantastic. The staff can be personable, funny, and chatty, which makes the experience feel warm and welcoming. Those moments really elevate the visit. However, not every visit has been that smooth. On a few occasions, the service wasn't as great. Instead of engaging with customers, the employees seemed more focused on chatting with their friends (maybe their significant others or co-workers who weren't working) off to the side and blocking the hall to the bathroom. It made the place feel a bit disorganized, and on top of that, they weren't calling out orders clearly, which added some confusion. Parking is metered but generally manageable, and the space itself is clean and comfortable. It's also nice that they have bathrooms available, which isn't always the case in coffee shops. We were in the area for a work trip and had some time to kill, so we figured we would grab some coffee. My husband got the coconut vanilla latte which was so good. It was smooth and had lots of flavor but wasn't too sweet. I went with the lavender matcha, at the recommendation of the barista, and added the passionfruit cold foam just because I really wanted to try it. I was unsure about the flavor combo, but it was quite possibly the best drink I've ever had! It was bright and refreshing, the perfect combination of floral and fruity. Offset just open a new location in Redondo Rivera Village which is their 5th. Good ambiance, nice space to comfortably hang out & enjoy coffee. Minimal decor so it's comfortable to look at. I normally like to order americano from their other locations & always good ( to me I like to request for less water so I can enjoy espresso & aroma) Their pastries in the case always fresh everyday when open at 7am which they got delivered real early in the morning or can order sandwich toast & biscuit if you want something heavier than pastries. For service a few times was slower just because of lots of customer since they're so new but I'm sure this easily will get improve. read more

Unequivocally the worst coffee and service I experienced. Watered down coffee, bitter and dismissive service. Appearance: Dirty water, or cheap tea. Service: No initiative, lazy and zero customer service skills. I came in wanting an Americano to enjoy there, not to go. They serve it in a mug as it should be; however, their mug size are completely off. I watched the girl with beany make it. I knew my morning went to hell in a hand basket the minute I saw how she was preparing it. Instead of prepping the espresso, she poured water into the coffee mug and then dropped the espresso shot. The proper way, you prep the espresso, single shot in the proper size mug, then add the hot water with a specific ratio. I took two sips, could not drink it, it tasted like hot water and drops of cigar buds. When I brought it back and let her know, she ignored me, like she had zero regards, or understanding of what I was saying. A total disappointed and an embarrassment. read more
