Pros: The ambience is nice, with an ocean view on one side. They have underground parking lot for free, with an elevator to come back up to ground floor. They have a water jug with reusable cups on the counter. They also have a rewards program. Cons: Food. It was made with very little care, a sprinkle of dressing, the avocado was missing, after I asked, he put in 3 tiny slivers after opening a brand new avocado. The olives are like a teaspoon scoop and I asked for no feta as I am dairy free and there was still feta inside. Unfortunately, I didn't have the energy to ask to fix it. In March 2026 m, I came back to eat and review Sacks on the beach after not eating here in a few years. There are many options in the area, but I wanted to see what their lunch special was. For a low price, you can get a half sandwich and salad. Can I say this, it was a very nice experience! I came back again and got a different sandwich and again it was very good. Their pasta salad is delicious and their sandwich/special is enough to keep you full. It has a very relaxed vibe and it was more relaxed this time. Service is friendly and fast during brunch hour. Not that I need deliriously happy workers , but having "Debbie downer " at the start of the day is brutal. It's not going to be squeaky clean like a Starbucks. Think old , worn, shabby. Aka. Has character 3- accompaniment They do have vegan and vegetarian options. 4- parking Street pay parking in front. There is a free parking garage (don't bring a truck ) and -starting in the next street north - there is free street parking (check the signs for street cleaning days) 5- conclusion I usually meet up for a morning coffee with a friend who lives within walking distance - which is why we meet here. Yuck! I can't believe i spent $10 on that! They use basic Thomas bagels which I believe they microwave not toasted. The eggs I feel they microwave and there is zero salt or pepper. It's was a mushy oily mess with zero flavor. I will not be coming here again. read more

Great and fun little breakfast and lunch spot, feet from the Esplanade and Rivera Village. Lots of breakfast options and lunch options. One of my favorites is the South of the Border bowl. It's got eggs, avocado, turkey sausage, tortilla strips and an amazing salsa. A definite must try! I also really love their soups. Especially, the chicken tortilla soup. The prices here are very fair. They offer delivery. I liked that the burrito came with a small side of fruit. The burrito was big enough for me to eat half in the morning and half for lunch. The bad: The burrito could have used more flavor. I think the egg was the predominant ingredient I tasted. I think if the burrito were tastier I would've eaten the whole thing for breakfast but it was just okay, so I didn't have too strong of an impulse to finish it all at once. The menu is vey unique with sandwiches like Breakfast in France which has a unique raspberry sauce and Turkey. It's like thanksgiving in a sandwich. I ordered "the Swiss" which lives up to its name. I got it sans tomato and it was PERFECT. The cheese is melty and savory. The Turkey, scrambled egg, and ON A CROISSANT. You couldn't have a more perfect breakfast sando for breakfast lunch or even dinner. This hit the spot. My wife and I came by for some Mother's Day breakfast and it was...okay. She enjoyed her El Pollo Guapo wrap loaded with eggs, chicken, and queso. That said, her lavender latte was, in a word, disgusting. Horribly imbalanced with so much lavender that it was all I could taste even a couple minutes after my one sip + sips of my own drip coffee in an attempt to wash it out. Lastly, the interaction I had with the service was unfortunately off-putting. There was an open bottle of hand sanitizer on the shelf that I used upon entering. Unbeknownst to me, it was supposed to be one for sale per the lady at the counter. I apologized and kindly suggested that they take that bottle off the shelf as it was obviously open and at least 20% used...only to be met with silence. Very awkward and uncomfortable. Liked the efficient service and hospitality of Sol and Manager Karla. We showed up with 11 or so ocean swimmers. Loved the daily special - pea soup and half sandwich. Asked Karla to chose what made sense from vegetarian options and her crew came up with an excellent avocado and veggies treat on super fresh and tasty bread. Also loved the pumpkin latte. Everyone seemed pleased with there meals, including tortilla soup and a south of the border veggie bowl. Thankfully only .7 miles from south end of bike path, where ocean swimmers congregate.
