I definitely will be back soon to try their food. The parking is located in the back, otherwise there is street parking on Artesia and side streets. Because we have been loyal customers over the years, this experience was especially disappointing. I am currently waiting to hear back from the owner, as I hope these concerns will be addressed. The food came out pretty quickly (that tends to happen with sandwiches and salads) and it was a perfectly fine panini. Even though the food was good, it didn't have any qualities that stood out, but it was solid and that's really all I can think of saying. Overall, Cafe Bonaparte is a solid little spot for sandwiches and salads. The service here was solid, the place itself has a nice environment, and it's location right next to the beach will have be back in the area many times, and maybe, just maybe, I'll have to check out the large baked good selection in the front.

You build your own by grabbing a ticket, heading to the back, and checking off exactly what you want. My go-to is a French baguette with prosciutto, fresh mozzarella, pesto, and tomatoes. It's absolutely generational. This is the perfect spot to grab lunch before heading to the beach. If you're lucky enough to know about The Green Store, don't take it for granted--it's another generational South Bay find. (But between us... let's keep this one on the down low.

The baristas are also nice and they consistently make my drinks really well even when the cafe gets really busy. The one down side is the small parking lot, but I can usually find street parking nearby if the lot is full. Overall, I consistently come back to this cafe for their coffee, pastries and sandwiches.
