I say this as a coffee fanatic - This is the best latte ive ever had. The flavor, the freshness, the consistency; unmatched. Every latte is made by hand, poured fresh, and they wont pour the shot into the milk (for iced) or pour the milk into the shot (for hot), unless you are there ready to recieve it, ensuring the final product is as fresh as it can be. Nothing sits, everything is done to ensure the highest quality finished product. Side note, I am a Celiac and they have Gluten Free blueberry muffins that are an oat/almond base. The wife in the husband/wife duo that runs this excellent establishment grinds the oats for the flour and mixes the quantities by hand for each batch. You can absolutely taste the care they put into these muffins. They are small, but fantastic. No one asked me for this review. This coffee is the best in the South Bay, maybe LA. Period. read more

This is a lovely cafe off of Aviation in Redondo Beach. It's great for sitting down for a morning latte. I have come here to enjoy coffee with my husband and a few other times to sit down and read after a walk. Parking can be challenging at times and it doesn't look like much from outside, but it's very cozy and nice inside. I really loved coming here while we were in Redondo Beach. I go here whenever my usual spot for coffee is closed!! I get the vanilla latte with whole milk as they don't carry a lavender syrup!! You order on an iPad that's positioned on the counter which is super convenient because you can customize your drink however you please!! If you order to dine in, drinks are served in beautiful blue mugs and I am a sucker for good mugs for coffee!! The ambiance is quaint and there are plenty of tables inside!! Whenever I'm on this side of town, I make an effort to go to Pursue Coffee. On this day, I wanted to have coffee and a treat, and get some work done. There were a few spots available when I went in. I love their huge wooden table that looks like it was sliced from a log. As usual, I asked the server what their favorite thing to eat is and they recommended the blueberry scone so I went for it - it did not disappoint. I am always a little bit nervous with scones because sometimes they can feel super heavy. This one has a great proportion of berries to scone and was delicious. The flat white was beautiful, and I made it to my table without spilling it. Their drinks are served perfectly temperature and perfect flavor! The drink is smooth which I like compared to some coffee shops where the bitter coffee bites. I can't wait till my next visit and to try something new! read more

I stopped by one Tuesday morning after hearing so many good things about this place! It's a small, cozy and inviting Korean-owned cafe. I got their hot vanilla latte with oat milk. They use real vanilla beans in their vanilla latte and you can taste the difference! I normally don't love lattes but this one was amazing! I loved how light and perfectly balanced it was--not too sweet and not too milky with beautiful latte art on top. This is my new favorite vanilla latte in the South Bay! They also had some fresh pastries in their display that I didn't get but would love to try next time. Service was awesome too. The owner was super friendly and warm! I will definitely be back! Pursue Coffee is a family run neighborhood coffee shop. They have so much heart and soul. You can feel it in every sip and each delicious bite. The house espresso is roasted by Four Barrel out of San Francisco. The espresso blend rotates seasonally, along with a featured single origin. The baked goods are homemade with gluten-free options. The Basque cheesecake is one of the BEST in the US. (They just added chocolate and macha flavors!) Avocado Toast and Egg salad toast are staples. Each visit brings me joy. Was in the area for work and knew I was about to spend an hour + commuting back to the Valley. Decided to come here because of their Homemade Chai. And so happy I did! I ended up getting the Chai, Vanilla Latte, and a butter biscuit. Everything was delicious! The Chai was intentionally prepared. It has the perfect balance of spice and sweetness. The biscuit was such a yummy treat while stuck in traffic. Crumbly, buttery, & sooo satisfying. Service is friendly. If I'm not mistaken its seems to be a husband and wife duo, and they are so sweet! Feels good to support a family own and ran business. The space is perfect if you have to do some computer work, or catch up with a friend. A very easy laidback vibe. And I had the specialty drip coffee which was also pretty good! I like to judge a place by their black coffee and I'd give it a 9/10, I could tell they really care about their craft! Last week, I ordered an heirloom mocha & one sip just sent me waves of pleasure. I can distinctly taste the richness of each ingredients: the coffee, the chocolate, & my choice of Almond milk. This new ratio of ingredients brought this whole new flavor to incomparable richness of mocha anywhere in the South Bay, possibly in the whole world, making all other mocha too sugary and diluted to taste. The creator, David, said he changed the ratio of ingredients in many drinks! Oh David, you sure poured your heart out on this one!!! I found this cute little cafe while walking around the neighborhood. I ordered a latte while my fiance ordered an americano - both were very much on par with our coffee preference! Came in for a midday coffee break with my coworkers and the staff greeted us right away when we walked in. They seemed really busy with orders but were still very welcoming. There were many different drink and pastry options that we had a hard time choosing. I ended up getting an iced matcha latte - regular unsweetened. I appreciated that they had sweetness level and different dairy options! The casual space is super cute for catch ups over coffee, or even a space to do work. Coffee Crawl Today! After having a classic Italian experience earlier, we decided to try Pursue seeing that they serve Four Barrel Coffee. The test for any shop is how well they can pull espresso shots. Anyone can use bad roasted beans and bad extractions and make lattes as the espresso gets lost in all that milk. Service is a bit on the slower side, but we are willing to wait for a correctly pulled shot. The single origin espresso was pulled well offering a juicy, sweet espresso with no bitter or burnt aftertaste. The vibe and ambiance is nice a chill as this seems to be a neighborhood shop catering to those living around here. I've been meaning to try Pursue Coffee for a while, especially having passed by it on my way to work. Finally stopped by and got the signature vanilla latte (with oat milk). The barista (owner?) was really nice and courteous and I could tell he takes the time to make each customer's drink with precision and care. My vanilla latte had a lovely scent and full-bodied flavor, but I admit, the oat milk watered down the overall taste (not the fault of the barista, but rather of my milk choice). Pursue Coffee is the essence of a neighborhood shop; warm, inviting, and serving exceptionally delicious coffee & breakfast. The atmosphere is this shop is fostered by their owner David, who really cares about people and coffee. Their water kettle is perpetually set at the exact temperature needed for pour overs, and these cups end up tasting better than what the roasters could have hoped for. They also do all their baking in house and the food delicious. This is obviously extremely rare, and another example of just how different this shop is. The service is always so nice here. The ambience is nice too. Very limited parking, like 4-5 spaces. The matcha is not good. It looks perfectly green but it tasted like milk. I got it without sweetener it tasted chalky and grimey and it kept clumping up in the drink showing it wasn't mixed well enough. The flavor of it was dull and the taste itself just tasted like cheap/bad matcha. I love matcha and drink it often and this place is close by so it's unfortunate that I can't get matcha here again. The vanilla bean iced coffee is good but the flavor itself is mild and it doesn't taste a bit on the milkier side. read more

It was so delicious and I love how they use eco-friendly material. I did take a look at their yummy pastries...my mind and heart were telling me yesss but my waist line was telling me noooo...
