I usually go to the Redondo location but I love this spot too. Easy parking in back, awesome friendly service, delicious coffee. I usually don't add much to my coffee but occasionally get an iced mocha here and it hits... it smacks as the kids say. Nice atmosphere too and sweet back patio. read more

Hi-Fi is a little coffee shop located on PCH. It's tucked away and if you aren't looking for it, can miss it. There is minimal seating indoor and outdoors. Parking isn't the best but there is a small lot in back that is available. We ordered the Chai and Honey Latte. The Chai latte was well balanced, not overly sweet or overpowering. The Honey Latte was bright and had a hint of honey but the milk overpowered the espresso. Another downside was that they didn't have almond milk (not sure if they don't carry it regularly or if it was just the day we came that they didn't have it). Prices are a tad inflated. The service was quick but not the most friendly/welcoming. read more

This is VERY MID coffee. I was super excited to try the French toast latte... what a scam to call it that because it's literally not good at all and does not favor French toast in any way. My husband commented the latte tastes like the girls attitude that made it.... Just BAD. We came in 45 minutes before closing but she was super irritated, had all the pastries cleaned up and seemed annoyed any additional patrons came in. Pretty sad I spent $15 on 2 coffees and neither of us drank them. read more

A charming little coffee shop on PCH. Inside is simply decorated and that makes it clean. Clean lines, no clutter. Good for people that don't like to be overstimulated. Small seating area inside and patio seating out the back door. I ordered the French Toast Latte, iced. Very good. They have a small menu. I like a small menu. Took a couple minutes to decide what I wanted. Service was friendly and fast. Smiles and thanks. read more

Hi-Fi Espresso in Redondo Beach is a great little neighborhood gem. It's a small spot with true local vibes, the kind of place that feels welcoming the moment you walk in. Their pastry selection is nicely mixed, with plenty of options to pair perfectly with your coffee. Everything feels thoughtfully chosen and fresh. The staff really stands out. Everyone is friendly, attentive, and genuinely happy to be there, which makes the experience even better. Whether you're stopping in for a quick coffee or hanging out for a bit, Hi-Fi Espresso is the kind of place you'll want to come back to again and again. Highly recommend supporting this local spot. read more

This is a nice, small coffee shop... there is no impressive sound system so Im not sure where the "hi-fi" name came from but I love the coffee. They even sell their own roasted beans to use at home. The people ate prompt and friendly. read more

I loved everything about this place from the staff to the vibes inside everything was just right! They have a ton of seating inside and outside plus the iced matcha latte was good! Ceremonial matcha as the girl told me which I love because a lot of other places I've tried it's tasted way greener than usual. I definitely recommend this place to everyone! read more

I like the name and it's very convenient. However, I go to alot of coffeeshops and this one struck me as pretty average but trying to seem better. First negative is the prices are very high for small cups and my mocha was kind of gross and powdery. Service was not too friendly and I had to ask where the stirrers were located. It's also very small so I hopped back on my bike and left. I will not repeat visit. read more

Great coffe. Great space. Cool spot to knock out some work. If ai'm nearby this is one of my go-to places

Bring back the coyote syrup. Or better yet, sell the syrup in bottles. Lattes are good, but the coyote syrup is the best.

My wife and I were on a walk and saw a sign for their French toast cold foam. Sounded delicious! We stopped in and I used the restroom which was very clean. The drink was good the cold foam was perfect not too much and not too little either. The shop is very cute too. Will definitely come back. read more

Big fan of hi-fi espresso signature drinks. The bee's knee's has such a unique flavor and perfect pick up on the way to the beach. There's a lil parking lot behind the store you could probably use for pick up :) read more

Solid matcha latte! I added vanilla syrup to make it sweeter. I love that they don't charge extra for alternative milk options like oat or coconut. Their drinks are a bit pricey. My mom tried the French toast latte which has maple syrup, vanilla, & cinnamon. If you like your drinks on the sweeter side I'd recommend adding some agave in your drink before you go! Parking is located in the back of the store :) read more

Simply put, my daughter sent me to experience the French toast latte. I walked in and basically said just that. The place is small. I found good parking in the back and walked through the back door. Very friendly staff and made the entire brief experience pleasant. The feel of the cafe was clean, quaint and accommodating. Get the French toast latte. It's heaven. read more

Quality espresso, unique and creative blends of syrup/flavored lattes, it just doesn't feel like the espresso is strong enough even though the quality is there. I want to like it more than I do, we have visited each time on our visits to LA area and I rank in my top, but it's not my favorite spot in the area. This location is a very tight spot, but thankfully it wasn't busy. Bf got the french toast latte and felt like it wasn't sweet enough for him, I did the coyote and as much as I love orange-vanilla (and cinnamon) flavored things, I just don't think orange and espresso pair well together (IMO). The ambiance is stunning, beautiful modern beachy vibes. Service was quick. read more

Came here in search of the french toast latte! But to my surprise all it was was maple syrup and vanilla in the coffee? MM not sure but I expected more from this latte. It is a small coffee shop with limited seating, about only 2 seats inside. There is more seating outside behind the building by the parking areas. Not sure but I was not impressed with my drink of choice, maybe I can try something different next time. The service was fast with only 1 worker behind the counter and she made all of our drinks. It is located on a busy street but there is parking on the back of the establishment! read more

Small but mighty in flavor and depth of menu! Right on the PCH road but there is parking in the back or park at CVS. They food the standard pastries but get here before the rush. They do have some donuts here and they are delicious, these tasty nuggets run out quickly! They place is decorated with various pop culture books, a record player, a small leather couch and space to work on your laptop that faces east so you can watch the cars speed by on the PCH. Service:5/5 - counter service. Flavor:5/5 Depth of menu:5/5 Food:4/5 - pastries, granola and donuts Decor:5/5 Return visit:5/5 The vibe here is mellow and the coffee is very good here so be patient during the peak morning hour or get here early. I did not see online or call in orders but I'm just speculating. We live in San Diego but when we are near Hi-Fi we partake in the experience! read more

Unfortunately, not my fave coffee shop. This location is really tiny and doesn't offer as much variety or seating as the Redondo Beach location. I ordered a ceremonial matcha with coyote syrup & oatmilk and a blueberry scone. The scone was good but a bit too sweet for my personal taste. The matcha was super disappointing. It was sooo light & overmilked and I couldn't taste the syrup flavors at all. Unfortunately, wouldn't be my first choice to come back to. read more

I maybe the last person on earth to have discovered Hi-Fi Espresso. It was only by chance that I even found it, as I was next door buying cheese from Cultured Slice. I was a bit uncertain the first time ordering Bees Knees...since it included spicy honey. Basically it's a yummy concoction of 2 shots of espresso, mocha, oat milk & spicy honey. I have never tasted anything so unique at the same time so so good, yummmm! It is THE go-to drink for me every time I go there now. Because I did try the lavender latte that my friend recommended. Although it is very good as well, I'm pretty bias about Bees Knees. Taking a star off only because their pastries are delicious but that I wish they would offer more. The baristas here have been consistently friendly and attentive with every visit at random times. Kudos team, you guys are amazing! Highly recommend Hi-FI if you're like me and have not heard of them before, lol. read more

Coffees good, got the job done but nothing exciting imo. Came by to try the French toast latte which did its job and kept me awake but lacked the taste I was expecting to be hit with. Not too far from the taste of a regular latte. Nice set up though inside to hang out and enjoy a cup at. $7 for a large cup that felt like a shmedium, boo. Anyways, it's a nice break from Starbucks but not that much better that's id return. Worth a shot. read more

Delicious!! Had a chance to try their unsweetened (or you can have it sweetened) Macadamia nut creamer with my latte and WOW! So yummy. The shop is elegantly clean with lots of gift touches to take home with you. Conveniently located on the PCH and fantastic customer service. Be sure to visit them! read more

Hi-Fi Espresso is a lowkey sorta not really coffee shop smack dab in between Redondo and Manhattan Beach. So if you're doing anything remotely near that area, maybe you should stop by for a coffee first. I, being a sugar fiend, decided to give their french toast latte a try. And yeah, it kinda tastes like how it sounds. Does it work? Yes. Is it for everyone? Probably not. It fortunately wasn't excessively sweet though so I appreciate that at least. Otherwise, it's a small coffee shop with a cute outside seating area out back, grab some coffee and sit around or take it with you along the beach. read more

Although I'm not a huge coffee drinker, I'm always keen on trying out local and trendy cafes in town. In comes Hi-Fi Espresso, located just a few blocks from the beach and conveniently on PCH to get around town. I don't know how the set-up was pre-pandemic, but the interior of the shop only has a couch and a few counter chairs (but I don't think you can sit inside), as well as patio outdoor seating. It's a cute shop, with your typical, Americana/surfer art work that's representative of the local beach community. Staff was very friendly and efficient, and I really liked how they handed my French Toast Latte to me uncapped to show off their beautiful latte art; I was compelled to take a photo before I capped and drank it. French Toast Latte actually tasted like French toast! Creamy with strong cinnamon overtones, I was beyond impressed. I am indifferent to French toast itself, but this drink made me want to give it another chance! Price is steep at $6.00, but the quality is spot-on. I'd be keen on returning and trying their "Bee's Knees" and their other drinks. Good job, Hi-Fi! read more
