Had the banana latte today and wow... this might officially be my favorite local banana latte now. It was so smooth, creamy and full of banana flavor without being too sweet. At first I thought the banana cream was just on top, but once I started looking at it, it almost seemed like it was swirled into the coffee too. I really liked that they use those little round ice cubes, so while I was driving I kept swirling the cup around and mixing everything together. It just got creamier and better as I drank it. Honestly, it was really, really good. And it's also cheaper than another popular local place that has a similar banana latte, which is definitely a plus for me. Da Vien Coffee is a little farther away, but still less than a mile farther, so I'll definitely be going back.
Super friendly. You get greeted right away. Everything was fast and efficient. My drink was yummy. I got the Coconut Matcha and it was very refreshing. Inside is clean and staff are really nice. Parking is also easy to find.
Friend introduced me to this trendy coffee chain from OC. We went in the afternoon around 1 pm and there was no line with some open seating left. Food: Tried the popular marble coffee with less ice which tastes like a mild Vietnamese coffee. Also tastes similar to Korean instant coffee (which has a mild sweet coffee taste). Would have liked it better with less ice. Overall, not my favorite style of coffee as I am a true espresso lover but would try the matcha next time because that's what they are famous for as well. Friend loved the coconut water with a matcha topping. She also recommends the matcha banana. Service: Quick, drinks came about in about 5 minutes. You order at a kiosk or at the counter with a staff member. Staff are friendly. There's also a rewards program you can join. Ambiance: trendy with nice low noise level and overall busy. There is nice indoor seating with around 5 + tables. Great place to stop by with friends, family or after a meal!
Sooo many positives about this coffee spot. Service was impressive with how fast they had our order out even with a long line. They have a tablet you can order from as well which is efficient. The staff was helpful as it was our first time visiting this coffee place. They offer non-dairy option of oatmilk for only 50 cents extra. The "I Need Help, I'm Addicted" at this point I'm convinced Da Viên isn't a coffee shop... it's a legal caffeine trap and I've fallen in willingly. I walk in and the staff already knows what's up, they greet me like a regular who clearly has no self‑control around Vietnamese coffee. And honestly, they're right. Their drinks? Sooo Dangerous. Every cup tastes like it was brewed by someone who said, "Let's make this man addicted." Strong, smooth, sweet, ice‑cold, and energizing enough to make me consider running errands I didn't even have. I take one sip and suddenly I'm ready to reorganize my entire life. At this point, if this shop ever closes, I will simply not recover. The team here is always friendly, fast, and on point. They treat me like a VIP regular, probably because I show up more than their actual employees. They get my drink out quick, with a smile, like they already know I'm running on caffeine fumes and pure hope. The shop is spotless every time. Clean counters, fresh vibe, chill atmosphere, it's the kind of place where you walk in stressed and walk out caffeinated, refreshed, and slightly overconfident. The environment is cozy enough to sit and relax, but clean enough that you feel like you should behave yourself. I've been here so often I'm pretty sure the chairs know my name. At this point, Da Viên could start charging me rent and I'd still show up. Their coffee has me in a chokehold, respectfully. This is that spot in G-Town, it's clean ambience, awesome service, and drinks so good they should come with a warning label, Seriously!! MY NEW COFFEE SPOT! I'm always looking to try a new coffee shop, and after seeing numerous posts and reviews on social media, I decided to give this place a shot -- and it definitely did NOT disappoint! From the moment you walk in, the staff greets you with a friendly hello. They can get busy, but the line moves quickly, and the average wait for your drink is only about 3-5 minutes. There's also plenty of seating if you want to sit back and enjoy your drink, or grab a breakfast croissant while you're there. I'm a Vietnamese Coffee addict, so naturally that was my choice. I love that robust, bold coffee flavor balanced with just the right amount of sweetness. Add the Eispanner Cream on top, and it takes it to another level! My wife tried the Banana Matcha Latte with Eispanner Cream, which she described as mild, smooth and delicious. Overall, this place is definitely going on my list of favorite coffee spots. I'm already looking forward to coming back and trying some of their other beverages! Definitely worth checking out!
Da Vien is pretty trendy and there's a bunch of them popping up. Could have easily visited one in the OC or in the 626, but we wanted a sweet drink after our dinner and not much was opened later in the evening on a Monday except for Da Vien. And even on a Monday evening, it's pretty busy and packed. Most of the tables and chairs were taken with people hanging out and chatting or working on their laptops and there was a line for the kiosk, but the cashier can take your orders there too if you know what you'd like. There were also a lot of pick up orders as well and a line for the restroom. With that in mind for a Monday, imagine the weekend or a Friday. Aside from that our drinks came out in a decent timeframe, enough for 2 of us to wait in line to use the restroom and then come back. I got their banana matcha latte. Sweet delicious flavor of banana mixed in with the earthiness of the matcha. I got this half sweet and the banana was enough to sweeten everything perfectly for me. Just make sure to mix it well. I would say that the quality and taste of the matcha is definitely better than franchises out there like Matcha Maiko and it's better than UG Tea, but it's nowhere near the GOATs Yamari or Airoma. I would say a higher quality medium level matcha (if this insane power scaling means anything). I'd definitely try Da Vien again, but maybe not this location or one much closer to me.
Love their coffee! Can't say much for the ambiance or service because a family member picked it up for me but I had the black sesame latte 50% sugar and it was quite tasty! Perfectly sweet and a nice flavor. Perfect when you need a refreshing drink and an extra caffeine boost! Would love to try their matcha drinks next time!

While visiting my best friend in LA, I think I came to Da Vien every single day for my morning cup. It's a busy spot but they move very quickly. It's a cute spot with some seating. I tried the ube latte most days lol and loved it! I got it iced everytime, which I never drink iced drinks. But it was so so good!!! I love that you can order online and just walk in and pick it up. Great staff, great coffee! Highly recommend!
I finally got to check out the new Da Vien Coffee that opened up in Gardena. I had attempted to go during their grand opening celebration but the lines were absolutely insane and I opted to just go on a different day. I'm happy to say, I finally got to try this coffee spot recently. I placed my order via the app ahead of time (highly recommend doing this). The place was packed for lunch time mid-week, and perhaps this a testament to its popularity. I was so happy to see my drink ready to go when I arrived. I chose to get their Ube Cream Coffee. Being both an ube fan, I was curious to see how a Vietnamese coffee topped with a ube coconut cream blend would taste. The Vietnamese coffee definitely had that strong, bold coffee flavor. I was hoping that the ube would give some sweetness to it but the ube flavor was very mild. The Vietnamese coffee definitely overpowered any kind of ube or coconut flavor for this. I would say it is a good Vietnamese coffee drink more than a good ube drink. I'm thinking of trying the Ube Latte next to compare and see if the ube flavors are more abundant. Overall, despite not quite getting the ube flavor in my Ube Cream Coffee, I did still enjoy my drink here. I will be back to try their other coffee drinks when I am in the area.

I ordered their cookie butter matcha and was recommended to try their banana latte. I enjoyed the taste of matcha which didn't overpower the taste and creaminess of the cookie butter. The banana latte was delicious just wished it had more banana taste but still didn't disappoint. I will definitely come back for more.

I've tried Da Vien in OC and LB before so I was thrilled to hear they were opening a location in Gardena. The coffee shop is located in a small strip mall in next to Baskin Robbins and by the Panda Express. The parking lot can get a little congested but it's worth it. There is a small seating area next to the counter where you order. It can be a little bit on the louder side so if you're going there to study or read, you'll probably want headphones. Da Vien has an app you can order from or a kiosk/tablet, and of course you can order at the counter. I've had the banana matcha and the einspanner latte and both are incredible. If you love banana, the banana matcha has a very nice flavor and doesn't taste artificial at all. The einspanner latte had a tasty cream top that is just too good. Another plus is that you can customize the sweetness and ice level on some drinks. I can't wait to try more of their menu! read more

TY DA VIEN FOR COMING TO THE SOUTH BAY!! I'm so happy with my experience and coffee here. Lots of parking. Indoor seating is really nice and a few outlets along the wall. Great WiFi, I was able to get some work done. Noise level was good coffee house chatter/music/vibe. Now the coffee! Absolutely so good. The staff are so friendly and nice and helped me figure out what to order (because I simply wanted to try everything). But they told me which drinks had stronger coffee levels and told me the marble drip is less which I wanted. Vietnamese coffee tends to be very strong so keep that in mind. Lots of ice in the drink which is a big plus for me. I am so excited to come back and try more! read more

Oh this place is absolute FIRE. This has easily become one of my favorite matcha places - if not favorite - in the South Bay. If your matcha isn't this green, I don't want it!! Went this last Sunday around 2pmish after seeing "The Furious " the best martial arts film that has come out in over 5 years. The girl was very nice and patient since this all new to us. Got the marble drip which was described as Vietnamese coffee but not as strong with a sweet cream. I was sold and I would get it again. My friend got the egg cream latte which was very dark and strong she wasn't a fan so of course I had to switch with her. Anyways will be stopping by again if im in the area. read more

I stopped by on a Sunday morning and it was a good amount of people there. As I stood in line I noticed the line started to get longer and longer. There were so many drinks on the counter and they were constantly calling names. They were doing a good job of getting the orders out. I ordered the banana matcha and it was ok, when I go back I am going to try the Vietnamese coffee since it is a Vietnamese shop. My daughter had the marble drip, she said that she liked it. We also shared a ham and cheese croissant which, it tasted exactly like what it was LOL meaning nothing special but exactly what you would expect from a coffee shop. You can order to go or enjoy your drink and food at one of the tables inside. There's a parking lot shared with other businesses so it was pretty crowded but cars are constantly leaving, so finding a spot may not be too hard. read more

I've been three times since it opened cause it's close. The drinks are good, they are on the sweet side so just something to be aware of. Vietnamese coffee has more caffeine content than most so also something to be aware of. Ambiance is good, it's new so it's fairly clean and modern. I wouldn't say the service is slow nor am complaining cause I guess they are new and a lot of people have been trying it so I understand the wait. I do however think it's quite dumb to not have your caffeine /sugar content listed. When I asked the employees they couldn't tell me which has more or less caffeine / sugar. Maybe the employee was new or just didn't care but she seemed annoyed than I even bothered to ask. And regardless she didn't even know. read more

Excited to grab some coffee and check out Da Vien coffee. As soon as I walked in, the decor was calming and pleasing aesthetically. The menu was pretty easy to follow but I still had some questions which the staff member assisting me answered thoroughly. The marble drip is a sweet milk which is whole milk mixed with condensed milk and Vietnamese coffee. I ordered the marble drip with oatmilk. J ordered the banana latte. You do have to mix them a bit prior to the first sip but it was wonderful! I'll be back to try more! read more

Da Vien is a new coffee shop located in the In N Out Plaza! So excited that a new location popped up here. I ordered a cafe latte & added strawberry foam for $1. Their cafe latte is a shot of espresso with milk rather than their straight viet coffee. I liked the flavor of the strawberry mixed with it. It added some sweetness to the not so sweet cafe latte. My friend got the banana matcha latte which was pretty good quality! I'm not sure I would order my drink again, but would definitely try something else here. read more

Earlier this week, the app had a BOGO deal on the banana latte. I stared at my phone and thought, "But...why?" ...well "why not" should be my answer from now on because why am I now craving banana pudding?! I had every intention of taking a cute coffee photo, but one sip turned into several, and by the time I remembered Yelp existed, half the drink was gone. The banana foam topping is there without punching you in the face, and it somehow works ridiculously well with the coffee. Also, download the app before you go. The deals alone might convince you to try something you'd normally scroll right past. That's how I ended up with the banana latte, and now I'm the one telling other people to order it. We tried to go on grand opening day, but unfortunately had a time-sensitive morning and couldn't commit to the line. And wow, there was a line. It wrapped around the parking lot and was giving In-N-Out a run for its money. Around here, In-N-Out is usually THE line, so that should say something. read more

It was my first time here and I had a bunch of questions regarding their various options. Nelly assisted me and was so patient answering all of my questions and had a great attitude about it, which I really appreciated it. The einspanner matcha was delicious and the sweetness (I got it extra sweet) was just right. It got really crowded quickly after I ordered. It had a lively atmosphere but also had tables convenient for studying. read more

Legit! I'd been driving by for weeks and finally stopped in today. I tried the Marble Drip with a Ham & Egg Melt. Delicious!! I bought the Lychee Jasmine and Peach teas for my young people. Also very yummy! Everything was a hit. Now I see why the place is always so busy. The location is very clean. The staff is friendly and hard working. They were all working fast to get orders out at a reasonable time as people rushed in with breakfast and before work orders. 10/10 for taste, presentation, service, and timeliness. Must have been the hour or time of the year, walked in and pretty busy. Well basically, no seating. But that is okay, we stopped by on our route to finally try it out. Clean minimalist place that offers wifi. Alot of people on their computers either studying or having online meetings. Noise level is there but all depends what you are comfortable with. We used the Kiosk to place the order. Thought the wait would be long but it was pretty quick. I assume there is mobile ordering or order ahead as well, as there was a shelving for pick ups. We tried the signature Marble Drip. It was the perfect amount of coffee to sweet milk ratio. i can get this any day. I think you can also customize how "sweet" you want it too. note: they do have milk options, too We also tried their New classic Sweet Cream Cold Brew. This is actually better than the popular coffee shop sweet cream cold brew. It was "smooooth" and a little sweet. Something in their Einspanner Cream just is so nice. A balance we can't quite pinpoint. This opens me up to try other selections with this cream. Overall, this was quite pleasant experience for our first visit. We can't wait to the explore the rest of the menu. read more
