I'm always looking to try a new coffee shop, and after seeing numerous posts and reviews on social media, I decided to give this place a shot -- and it definitely did NOT disappoint! From the moment you walk in, the staff greets you with a friendly hello. They can get busy, but the line moves quickly, and the average wait for your drink is only about 3-5 minutes. There's also plenty of seating if you want to sit back and enjoy your drink, or grab a breakfast croissant while you're there. I'm a Vietnamese Coffee addict, so naturally that was my choice. I love that robust, bold coffee flavor balanced with just the right amount of sweetness. Add the Eispanner Cream on top, and it takes it to another level! My wife tried the Banana Matcha Latte with Eispanner Cream, which she described as mild, smooth and delicious. Overall, this place is definitely going on my list of favorite coffee spots. I'm already looking forward to coming back and trying some of their other beverages! Definitely worth checking out! read more

Stopped by Da Vien Coffee for a Vietnamese iced coffee and was genuinely impressed. The coffee had a rich, robust flavor with just the right balance of sweetness, yet strong enough to wake up my ancestors. Service was attentive and warm, making the experience feel personal without being overbearing. The café is clean, modern, and inviting, a comfortable space that makes you want to stay longer than planned. A solid spot in Gardena for quality coffee and great hospitality. Excited to grab some coffee and check out Da Vien coffee. As soon as I walked in, the decor was calming and pleasing aesthetically. The menu was pretty easy to follow but I still had some questions which the staff member assisting me answered thoroughly. The marble drip is a sweet milk which is whole milk mixed with condensed milk and Vietnamese coffee. I ordered the marble drip with oatmilk. J ordered the banana latte. You do have to mix them a bit prior to the first sip but it was wonderful! I'll be back to try more! read more

Da Vien is pretty trendy and there's a bunch of them popping up. Could have easily visited one in the OC or in the 626, but we wanted a sweet drink after our dinner and not much was opened later in the evening on a Monday except for Da Vien. And even on a Monday evening, it's pretty busy and packed. Most of the tables and chairs were taken with people hanging out and chatting or working on their laptops and there was a line for the kiosk, but the cashier can take your orders there too if you know what you'd like. There were also a lot of pick up orders as well and a line for the restroom. With that in mind for a Monday, imagine the weekend or a Friday. Aside from that our drinks came out in a decent timeframe, enough for 2 of us to wait in line to use the restroom and then come back. I got their banana matcha latte. Sweet delicious flavor of banana mixed in with the earthiness of the matcha. I got this half sweet and the banana was enough to sweeten everything perfectly for me. Just make sure to mix it well. I would say that the quality and taste of the matcha is definitely better than franchises out there like Matcha Maiko and it's better than UG Tea, but it's nowhere near the GOATs Yamari or Airoma. I would say a higher quality medium level matcha (if this insane power scaling means anything). I'd definitely try Da Vien again, but maybe not this location or one much closer to me. read more

So excited to see Da Vien opening more locations in LA county. I love their Banana matcha because it's sweet but strong! It never tastes watered down and you can also customize the dairy options and sugar levels. I finally got to check out the new Da Vien Coffee that opened up in Gardena. I had attempted to go during their grand opening celebration but the lines were absolutely insane and I opted to just go on a different day. I'm happy to say, I finally got to try this coffee spot recently. I placed my order via the app ahead of time (highly recommend doing this). The place was packed for lunch time mid-week, and perhaps this a testament to its popularity. I was so happy to see my drink ready to go when I arrived. I chose to get their Ube Cream Coffee. Being both an ube fan, I was curious to see how a Vietnamese coffee topped with a ube coconut cream blend would taste. The Vietnamese coffee definitely had that strong, bold coffee flavor. I was hoping that the ube would give some sweetness to it but the ube flavor was very mild. The Vietnamese coffee definitely overpowered any kind of ube or coconut flavor for this. I would say it is a good Vietnamese coffee drink more than a good ube drink. I'm thinking of trying the Ube Latte next to compare and see if the ube flavors are more abundant. Overall, despite not quite getting the ube flavor in my Ube Cream Coffee, I did still enjoy my drink here. I will be back to try their other coffee drinks when I am in the area. read more

I've tried Da Vien in OC and LB before so I was thrilled to hear they were opening a location in Gardena. The coffee shop is located in a small strip mall in next to Baskin Robbins and by the Panda Express. The parking lot can get a little congested but it's worth it. There is a small seating area next to the counter where you order. It can be a little bit on the louder side so if you're going there to study or read, you'll probably want headphones. Da Vien has an app you can order from or a kiosk/tablet, and of course you can order at the counter. I've had the banana matcha and the einspanner latte and both are incredible. If you love banana, the banana matcha has a very nice flavor and doesn't taste artificial at all. The einspanner latte had a tasty cream top that is just too good. Another plus is that you can customize the sweetness and ice level on some drinks. I can't wait to try more of their menu! read more

Great WiFi, I was able to get some work done. Noise level was good coffee house chatter/music/vibe. Now the coffee! Absolutely so good. The staff are so friendly and nice and helped me figure out what to order (because I simply wanted to try everything). But they told me which drinks had stronger coffee levels and told me the marble drip is less which I wanted. Vietnamese coffee tends to be very strong so keep that in mind. Lots of ice in the drink which is a big plus for me. I am so excited to come back and try more! read more

Went this last Sunday around 2pmish after seeing "The Furious " the best martial arts film that has come out in over 5 years. The girl was very nice and patient since this all new to us. Got the marble drip which was described as Vietnamese coffee but not as strong with a sweet cream. I was sold and I would get it again. Legit! I'd been driving by for weeks and finally stopped in today. I tried the Marble Drip with a Ham & Egg Melt. Delicious!! I bought the Lychee Jasmine and Peach teas for my young people. Second time coming here this week and I love it. Service is friendly and very fast! Tons of space to study and plenty of parking. Must have been the hour or time of the year, walked in and pretty busy. Well basically, no seating. But that is okay, we stopped by on our route to finally try it out. Clean minimalist place that offers wifi. Alot of people on their computers either studying or having online meetings. Noise level is there but all depends what you are comfortable with. We used the Kiosk to place the order. Thought the wait would be long but it was pretty quick. I assume there is mobile ordering or order ahead as well, as there was a shelving for pick ups. We tried the signature Marble Drip. It was the perfect amount of coffee to sweet milk ratio. i can get this any day. I think you can also customize how "sweet" you want it too. note: they do have milk options, too We also tried their New classic Sweet Cream Cold Brew. This is actually better than the popular coffee shop sweet cream cold brew. It was "smooooth" and a little sweet. Something in their Einspanner Cream just is so nice. A balance we can't quite pinpoint. This opens me up to try other selections with this cream. Overall, this was quite pleasant experience for our first visit. Vietnamese coffee has more caffeine content than most so also something to be aware of. Ambiance is good, it's new so it's fairly clean and modern. I wouldn't say the service is slow nor am complaining cause I guess they are new and a lot of people have been trying it so I understand the wait. I do however think it's quite dumb to not have your caffeine /sugar content listed. When I asked the employees they couldn't tell me which has more or less caffeine / sugar. I stopped by on a Sunday morning and it was a good amount of people there. As I stood in line I noticed the line started to get longer and longer. There were so many drinks on the counter and they were constantly calling names. They were doing a good job of getting the orders out. I ordered the banana matcha and it was ok, when I go back I am going to try the Vietnamese coffee since it is a Vietnamese shop. My daughter had the marble drip, she said that she liked it. We also shared a ham and cheese croissant which, it tasted exactly like what it was LOL meaning nothing special but exactly what you would expect from a coffee shop. You can order to go or enjoy your drink and food at one of the tables inside. There's a parking lot shared with other businesses so it was pretty crowded but cars are constantly leaving, so finding a spot may not be too hard. read more

Da Vien is a new coffee shop located in the In N Out Plaza! So excited that a new location popped up here. I ordered a cafe latte & added strawberry foam for $1. Their cafe latte is a shot of espresso with milk rather than their straight viet coffee. I liked the flavor of the strawberry mixed with it. It added some sweetness to the not so sweet cafe latte. My friend got the banana matcha latte which was pretty good quality! I'm not sure I would order my drink again, but would definitely try something else here. read more

I stared at my phone and thought, "But...why?" ...well "why not" should be my answer from now on because why am I now craving banana pudding?!
