You can get drinks to partner your churros with!

When I say fresh churros, there's no lie! The owners were so welcoming and kind even if I came in late. I just wanted hot, crispy and airy churros! And they definitely did not disappoint! They even gave me lechera (condensed milk) on the side to dip my churros in! They have a various amount of toppings as well. I've been meaning to come here and I'm so glad I finally came! Not only do they have churros, but they also have a full menu! If you haven't been then this is definitely a bookmark to add! They even do parties! Excited to take my fam and try the rest of their menu! I love small businesses and mom and pop shops! Please support them and enjoy!

Churro with strawberry ice cream

Fresh made to order churros! Crispy & soft in the middle. I had the churro with strawberry ice cream ($5.00). We ordered 10 churros with cinnamon sugar. You can opt for toppings like chocolate sauce, strawberry sauce, etc instead of cinnamon sugar. The ladies are super nice. They have a storefront/restaurant but it's not open to the public. The churros are set up to and made on a cart in front of the store. The menu has quite a bit of option & choices. Can't wait to cone back & try a different topping choice.

She ate everything!!

The food here is amazing!! Extremely underrated restaurant!! Great service, amazing quality!! One of my new favorite places!!! Check out the menu!! Best churros and drinks and funnel cakes and tamales!! Can't wait to try everything else!!

I love me some churros but never really get to eat them much back home. Decided to come to this place since we were in the area and boy let me tell you I was surprised that they were open late. There was a small line so I knew this place had to be good. We ordered 5 Churros ($7) and a funnel cake ($12) The churros didn't take to long to come out. They are freshly made right in front of you which was nice. For our churros we went with chocolate syrup for our toppings. For an extra ($2) you can add fruits on your funnel cake so we went with that. We watched the worker load our funnel cake with fruits and other toppings. They really take this time making it. The whip cream made eating the funnel cake so enjoyable. The fruits were also a nice touch with the chocolate syrup covering them. Not sure if this is a hidden gem but this place is definitely a must try in my book!

The churro cart is currently set-up outside the shop, which is under construction.

As were we're entering "Tony's on the Pier" at the Redondo Beach Pier for dinner when my broworker, Chris, commented that there was a churro place on the pier that we should visit after dinner. As luck would have it, by the time we finished dinner the churro shop was closed. So after yelp, we went to see if we could find a churro place that was open late and that's when we found this shop. It only had 50 reviews but I had five stars, it was open until 10 o'clock. It took us half an hour to get there, and then we had to stand in the freezing wind and rain, but boy, was it worth the wait! I'll be back in town in a few months and will be dreaming of these churros until I get there again. Well done Mr. and Mrs. Churro, and I can't wait to try the tamales!

The churros here were incredible!! Perfectly light and crispy, the fried bits on the ends were wispy! The inside was perfectly chewy and the overall dessert with the sauces was not overpoweringly sweet - it was just right. We tried the chocolate, strawberry, and caramel this time (wanted to start with some classics). Having fresh fresh churros like this was such a treat, I can't wait to come back for more. The owner seemed to know everyone, it gave such a great community feel to the place. The wait was the only downside, it took 20+ minutes for us to get our churros. After trying them, we definitely didn't mind and they were worth the wait, but you should be prepared for a wait in the parking lot when you go. Again, super friendly family running it and the churros were bomb. Get extras and heat them in the air fryer the next day - obvi not as good as fresh, but you won't be disappointed!

If you live in south LA /Gardena you have to come support this local business. It used to be a little stand, but today they finally opened their doors to the public. (congratulations to them ) Do not let the name fool you- they sell everything PLUS Churros. Perfect for those who have a sweet tooth and those who prefer traditional Mexican food. I had the de tripa and 1 quesataco de birria de res and 1 de Chivo. All three tacos were delicious and "bien serviditos" The salsa were . Definitely coming back to try more things on the menu. Customer service was great- very friendly and welcoming couple. The husband is on the front register taking the orders and the wife is in the kitchen preparing the food. They work very well together. The inside is very clean, bright and welcoming as well. I am all for small family businesses. I live in the area and would love to see the business thrive. The more that people support and shop locally, the better our community and local economy will become.

The best churros in South Bay!

The best churros ever! Ordered a ton for my big dance event and everyone loved them! I also appreciated the care that the owner showed me when he let me try them free of charge. He was super nice and easy to work with. I always appreciate nice service and generocity. Oh, about to place another order, a year later, for yet another one of my big dance events :-) YEA!

The churros were crispy and well seasoned, but the star was the sweet plantains! Reminded me of my childhood and it was amazing!

Tacos El Pecas

"Why don't we try the one close to 182nd? I think is called Tacos de Canasta?" Hubbers said…read more On the hunt to add on to our taco stand list, Tacos de Canasta was next. But we found Tacos El Pecas instead. (No signs of Tacos de Canasta anywhere.) We weren't disappointed or anything. If anything, I was even more delighted because I saw something on the list I've never heard of: suadero. So I asked Hubbers what it is. He wasn't sure either and since their staff overheard it, they went ahead and explained. (Beef, middle part of the cow between the sirloin and the flank.) Then I thought, "Okay, but I've never had it..." And while I was thinking, they went ahead and gave me a sample (see attached pic.) It was delicious! I wanted to try it as a taco! Along with a carne asada, chorizo and tripa. Hubbers had his usual al pastor. I wasn't a fan of their asada. I thought it was a bit dry, but everything else was fantastic. Who knew there was another beef choice, and yes, the suadero was something different but delicious. The tripa wasn't very gamey and the chorizo was tasty. I also love that they offered grilled onions and peppers at no additional cost and they helped us pack up a few sides and sauces. FOOD: 4.5. SERVICE: 5. As busy as they were, they were the most interactive and friendly compared to all the recent taco vendors we've hit. VALUE: 5. Worth it! PARKING: Street only since they're a street vendor. OVERALL: 4.75. So, yes, I will admit we came out looking for another vendor, but we're glad we found them instead. Makes me wonder if they do a schedule rotation of sorts, maybe... ? I plan on coming through again and give their carne asada another shot. Looking forward to that next stop!
