Right down the street from my work which makes this a great option for me during the week! The Ensenada burrito with asada and shrimp is HUGE AND DELICIOUS. I was seriously impressed by the size of this burrito, only matched by the deliciousness! The ceviche was aggressively average, not great not bad. We tried all three of the shrimp ceviche and thought each were okay. The fish tacos were amazing as well! I can't wait to come back here and try what else they have to offer. The staff was friendly and eager to help. Pro tip- bring cash if you like dried chiltepines! They sell them by the cup and they're soooooo good. read more

I've been a customer of Ensenada's since around 2022, and this review is based solely on their new Crenshaw location. From the moment I walked in, I was warmly greeted by the young lady behind the register. She was all smiles and radiated genuine enthusiasm, which immediately set the tone for a great experience. Everything on the menu looks tempting, but I stayed true to my favorite and ordered the Baja fish tacos. These battered tacos are huge, yet I still managed to conquer three of them. They were absolutely delicious!!! Perfect crunch on the batter, moist and flavorful fish, fresh tortillas, and a great slaw. It all comes together as the perfect combo. I also love that they offer all-you-can-eat seasoned yellow chilies and pickled onions, which are the perfect finishing touch for these tacos. Overall, this was a fantastic experience from start to finish. Great food, great service...this place truly rocks, and I will definitely be back. I love going to the Artesia location we always go for the battered fish/shrimp tacos. Super delicious. This location offers more parking space and there is more space and tables to eat inside as well. The hostess/cashier was super friendly and bubbly. Place was busy but not packed. The in and out flow was consistent. We ordered our usual and this time I decided to try the shrimp ceviche, first and last time. It was either super salty or super sour from the lime, very hard to tell but I couldn't keep a straight face with each bite I took, yes I still ate it and yes I finished it, it's not cheap! Very friendly staff, we were greeted as soon as we walked in. Food was delicious. Tried the battered fish tacos and the fish and chips...so good. Our friends raved about this place and we had to try it. From the moment we entered are greeted and your order is taken right at the door - they give you your order number and you can find your seat. Word of note: the music is really loud We decided to keep it simple and order the number one plate combo. two battered fish tacos with beans and rice. Although the servings are not humongous they aren't skipping & the prices are spot on. a little over 10 or $11 per plate and they are solid with the flavoring. Each taco swaddled, a crispy, battered fish fillet, and smothered with finely shredded cabbage along with some Crema. We opted out of the pico de gallo. And just chose extra cilantro. We think this is perfect in our eyes. We love that they have these roasted chilies on the bar that seem to be dusted with Tajin, or chile con limón. Don't judge me, I ate 4 of these fat juicy chiles. To wash down the nice spice, each of the taco plates comes with a drink - they have horchata and Jamaica on the refills - along with normal fizzy soft drinks. We will definitely be back as it seems to be a good value! Looks like they have some delicious looking ceviche, and some nice seafood burrito less bowls! read more

This is my favorite fish tacos in LA. This is the grand opening of their Gardena location. The fish tacos are only $1.50 during their grand opening. I do not know when it ends, but you should come here now. There is ample parking here. There is plenty of seating in this locationvailable to sit and eat your tacos while they are still hot. The fish was lightly battered but yet crispy, the fish was hot and tender . The chili is mild. Thetacoas comes with diced tomatoes and onionsand shredded cabbage.It took about 5 minutes to get our order after we had placed it. Today's order a Salmon Taco, 2 Potato Tacos, and Burrito De Carne!! The salmon Taco had a great amount of meat on it along with tomatoes, cabbage/lettuce, onions and salsa!!! Deliciious! Ooh the potatoes were so creamy packed so nicely in the hard shell taco with tomatoes, onions and lettuce on top!! Boy the potatoes tacos will always be the first item to order!! The potato tacos rock!!! Ok I cannot, most definitely cannot forget the steak burrito!! All i can say is the burrito can be cut into three pieces and you can truly eat and be filled. I actually did go to their Grand opening special and they did honor the special on the 2nd day. Was there a line out the door? Yes there was. Did the line go fast? Yes they did. After talking to the cashier, she said they ran out of fish the day before. Judging from the number of people going in and out of the place, they were swamped. Im pretty sure they stopped honoring the special because they ran out of fish. This location was the old Ihop/ Pancake house. It had ample seating. It is clean. It is ran nice and efficient. The day that i went, the owner was there bagging up orders. People were pretty friendly. The tacos were consistent with their other locations. They did close for a little bit because of an operational issue (saw on their IG), not sure if they are back open. read more

I'm glad they're opening more locations but please open one in the San Fernando Valley or LA county. I tried this new location and I was afraid the food wouldn't taste the same but I was wrong. I ordered 6 Baja tacos with batter and they taste exactly the same and the girl In front was so inviting and polite. This place is clean and neat it's excellent . Horrible employees, they gave me the smallest portion of food I've ever had at one of this restaurants. I always go to the location in Hermosa beach and they have the best staff, always going above and beyond for their customers. I talked to the staff after noticing that my plate had way less ceviche than the rest at me table and their response was "do you want me to take your plate and measure the portion in front of you?" What type of customer service is that? He said "if we gave more to the rest of the table we can't go take that back" Honestly I've never had a problem with portions at the Hermosa location, it was a mistake coming to try this spot in Gardena. I recommend avoiding this location all together. Español: Empleados horribles, me dieron la porción más pequeña que he probado en un restaurante de esta cadena. Siempre voy al de Hermosa Beach y tienen el mejor personal, siempre se esmeran por sus clientes. Hablé con el personal después de notar que mi plato tenía mucho menos ceviche que el del resto de mi mesa y me respondieron: "¿Quiere que le tome el plato y mida la porción enfrente suya?". ¿Qué clase de servicio al cliente es ese? Me dijeron: "Si les damos más al resto de la mesa, no podemos ir y quetarselos". I went here yesterday because my wifes friends told her about it , and wow it was amazing. We got the baja battered fish tacos and the shrimp ceviche and both get a thumbs up A+. The tacos are huge and delicious it's got a little spicy kick to it which I love. Looking at the menu theirs so many other things I want to try, and the hostess was very helpful and friendly. We were out and about with a solid crew that day, doing the usual lunch dance where the pickiest of our group is also the least decisive when it comes to what to eat, so it always falls to me (who is literally known as the garbage disposal who will finish whatever people don't eat) to pick the place.
