My favorite pho restaurant in South Bay and I've been to every single one of them. The beef ribs one and ox tail one are extremely good. Definitely my go-to spot when I want to eat pho.
Ordered Broken Rice #42 Exceptional as they do broken rice well here. Mainly consisted of Pork Chop, Chicken, and bit of lettuce,cucumber, and pickled radish. Plating is presentable. Portion- Very filling as the cuts given were justified. Pork chop has the right amount of thickness. Both meats were perfectly grilled and again moderately portioned. Shame no egg is included in the #42 It's a shame they don't have traditional steamed baked egg loaf. Side of beef broth is given - however it appears straight out the can (Nuoc Leo) Another note; they don't have Sambal chili paste which actually pairs better with the fish sauce. Overall score Taste 5/5 Portion 4/5 Price 4/5
Found a New place here in Gardena to have a bowl of Pho when I come down to visit. The staff here is very friendly. The brooth and spring rolls are flavorful. I will definitely be back to try something else.
This seems like an authentic Vietnamese restaurant that also caters to a more western population. The original flavors are still there, especially in the com tam seasoning of the meat. However, I thought the soup was a bit sour. I ordered pho dac biet myself and could not finish it all because the portions are a good size. The service is great and friendly. There is plenty of parking in the front.
Bruh!!! Free bone marrow!!!!! After 4pm while supplies last. lol. But dang, the bone marrow was so full of meat. Took me damn near 30 min to pick through it and I still couldn't even finish a quarter of it. I basically had two dinners with left overs for the rest of the week. Cudos to the effin chef!!!! 5/5. Giving you all extra tip for this craziness. Good lawd, it was sooooooo good too. Chefs kiss, ok, mic drop.

The beef rib is tender and has lots of meat in it while the broth is flavorful and scolding hot, just the way I like it. Usually, for my drink, I get the pineapple juice. It's very refreshing. However, this time around, I ordered a can of Dr. Pepper. That was a mistake. It was flat. In fact, my wife's can of Coke was flat too. Ownership may want to check the expiration date on their can of sodas. Next time I'm here, I'll stick to the pineapple juice. That never disappoints. The service here is fantastic. All the workers are very nice and attentive. The food comes out very quickly. I also like that I can go up to the counter and immediately pay for my meal after I'm done eating. Allows me to zip in and out of there. Prior to discovering this restaurant, I had never had pho before. This is the place that got me into the dish so it holds a special place in my heart.
01/18/2026 - In Gardena there are many pho restaurants. This restaurant has plenty of seating and is very clean. Great for one or a group. The service was very nice and friendly. The pho broth is great. Very flavorful. Plenty of meat in the bow as well. Also the regular is reasonably priced in my opinion.

Add them together and It's Pho/Ramen weather to me. It's why I ended up here at Pho Hoan. This place is on the corner of Normandie and Redondo. Huge parking lot - where the 99 Cent store was (it's closed). I don't know how it is on the weekends but during the week (the other day), tons of parking. Service was what I have come to expect when eating at a Vietnamese restaurant though I heard the staff conversing in a different language. Ordered, food served. Walked up to the counter to pay. No interaction. I'd say staff was present but other than one of the staff, possibly the manager or owner, who was sitting at one of the tables yell out to me to sit anywhere - there wasn't much exchange with anyone else other than ordering and paying. Food was decent. See pics. Grabbed a Spring Roll and Pho Dac Biet. Everything was as expected - just wish I asked for more onions. I saw some when first served, thinking there was more submerged, but found that, that wasn't the case. I love onions. Everything else was good enough. I liked the place but just felt off with the owner or manager just sitting at a table talking with someone else and yelling across the restaurant to customers walking in to seat themselves. It'll be what it'll be.
Really good pho and very friendly service! Located in a shopping mall, there is plenty of parking and upon entering we were greeted and seated promptly. We ordered the house special pho which was PACKED with protein and the flavor was so delicious! We also got the shrimp spring rolls which were literally so thicc I was surprised they were able to wrap it so neatly. The service was also really great, even though it was pretty busy on a Wednesday night, they were so attentive and friendly :) Definitely would recommend!!
The food was pretty standard. Came here because my partner and I were sick and were craving pho. The vibes are very chill and casual. If you're looking for good vietnamese comfort food this is your place to visit. The line was crazy when we got here, but we got lucky that everyone was waiting for bigger tables and were able to be seated as soon as we walked in. The service was good. It would appear they were very very busy and may need to hire more people, but overall it was a great experience. I forgot to take a before picture of my filet pho I devoured it and realized oopsie!

I decided to try this place since it's close to my house and I was craving pho. Me and my friends got pho, egg rolls and Vietnamese iced coffee. To be quite honest, the pho is kinda bland. I love my Vietnamese food and I'm very particular about my pho broths and this one didn't make the cut. The egg rolls were okay but it didn't come with the lettuce or anything on the side like they do at other pho places. Maybe they're more modernized? Idk but I like to wrap my egg rolls in lettuce. The star of the meal was honestly the iced coffee. I think I like my condensed milk ratio to be larger than the coffee.
Service was friendly and quick. The restaurant is busy but it's clean and they have their system down. The food was the superstar. I've had A LOT of pho, all over L.A. and the O.C. This is probably one of my favorites. The brisket in my pho was sliced thin and SUPER tender. The broth was absolutely delicious. The egg rolls were crunchy and flavorful. I can't wait to go back.

I was in the area looking for a decent bowl of Pho, this definitely hit the spot! The brisket was cooked well& the brisket tender, & the noodles were soft & enjoyable. Loved that they provided plenty of extra toppings on the side, including bean sprouts, jalapeños, fresh basil, limes, & chili paste. Always appreciate having all the fixings to customize my bowl! Also I tried the egg rolls they were juicy on the inside with a crispy exterior. The spring roll was just as good, light, fresh, & refreshing. Overall, everything was delicious & definitely satisfied my pho craving. Would come back just for the hospitality as well. Had a wonderful lunch at this location the other day. Service was very quick even at lunch hour (between 12-1pm). I really liked the variety of meat options they offered for Pho. I usually like tendon with my beef and some places don't offer it so I was pleased to see that on the menu. I also really liked the shrimp spring rolls they tasted very fresh and the sauce that accompanied them was very flavorful not too peanut forward more umami. read more
Been going to the gym next door and always saw this place with people so it's been under my radar. So glad to finally try it last night. The broth by itself without any sauces was GOOD. Lots of flavor and the meat was fresh and tender. Thinly slice so it immediately gets cooked when you submerge it into the broth. Manager was very friendly and knew all the regulars by name so that's a good sign locals like this spot. Looking forward to visiting again. read more

We have been coming here for years , probably since the start. Best Pho in all of L.A , their service is exceptional and they have gotten busier over the year, yet the quality is still there. Today I tried their Pandan tea leaf milk tea. Really good tea, it's nutty and perfectly sweetened . Definitely a go to for pho. read more
I was craving both ribs and pho, so this spot was perfect! I drove 2 hours to visit my cousin and was starving, so I told them to just pick a pho place. Since we were already down the street from this restaurant, we decided to try it. I ordered the pho with beef ribs.. exactly what I'd been craving! It came with two big, tender ribs and cost $18.99. Flavor Budz Check in! It was freezing out, so my hubby and I craved something hot. Pho's our usual comfort food, and Pho Hoan was on our list. We went on Valentine's Day, which wasn't bad at all; usually, it's a madhouse everywhere. But hey, we took a chance and went in. Right away, Peter, the owner, was super nice and welcoming. The whole staff always yelled "WELCOME!" when anyone walked in. It was so cozy and family-friendly inside. The All-Star game was on in the back, and families were chatting away. There were kids, couples, and singles just enjoying dinner--it was awesome seeing everyone relaxing and hanging out. My hubby and I got Pho--he got shrimp and brisket, I just got brisket. The broth was amazing, not greasy at all, and the brisket was so tender! I ate the whole thing, which is HUGE for me! Ten out of ten. We totally recommend it! Big thanks to Peter and the whole crew--waitstaff and cooks, you guys are awesome and work so well together, it really shows! read more
My new favorite Pho restaurant!! We came in on a rainy day and the restaurant got filled shortly after we arrived. The food was so delicious and the service was amazing! What more do you want? They had the cutest rustic lights, love the decor as well! I highly recommend the steak and brisket pho, satay pho, grilled pork vermicelli, and their fried crunchy wontons! Lots of parking outside, clean spacious interior, quick staff. We got seated right away. Large menu with premium meat options. The food portions are large and filling, the noodles were perfectly al dente and bouncy. The broth was 10 out of 10!!!! I got the house combination pho. Solid beef rib pho, not the most flavorful as some of their competitors in 714, but the quality of the beef rib was excellent and the texture was perfect. Noodles and broth were okay but not particularly memorable, and the veggies were fresh. Goi cuon (shrimp spring rolls) were well-stuffed and tasty, but like the pho, best described as competitive as opposed to exceptional. Service is efficient and the vibe seems to be typical of South Bay pho places, very much slightly-dated strip mall feel, with clearly not-quite -fast-food Western furniture casual vibe and a high ceiling. Absolutely delicious. So happy I decided to try this spot. I'm writing my review while I'm here because it was that good. I tried the satay pho with a Thai tea. Satay was sooo good and flavorful. I've seen a variety of different restaurants come and go at the location Pho Hoan Pasteur Gardena is currently at. This place previously housed Hiccups as well as Soup Shop and now Pho Hoan Pasteaur is here! I sure do hope Pho Hoan Pasteaur will stay as I really enjoyed dining here. I happened to come on a rainy LA day and it was perfect for a warm broth of pho. Pho Hoan Pasteaur definitely did not disappoint with their Beef Rib Pho. Their Beef Rib Pho is one out of seven premium phos. For $16.99; this delicious pho comes with two giant beef ribs! The beef ribs are deliciously tender and the meat practically falls off the bone. I highly recommend this. Aside from the Beef Rib Pho; I also got to try their Minced Pork and Vegetable Egg rolls. You get four egg rolls for $7.99. Their egg rolls are pretty decently sized and it packed with ingredients and flavor. I would also recommend getting this appetizer. I only mentioned two items in this review but they have plenty more offerings to choose from. They have tradition pho soups, a lot of appetizers (including a variety of spring rolls) and vermcelli dishes. I enjoyed my first time eating here and hope to be back again soon! read more

The food was AMAZING...besides Garden Grove, this has to be one of the better spots around the area. Ordered the Beef Rib Pho (2 big ole ribs) and the Steak/Flank and the Steak/Short Rib...along with the usual condiments they had a chili oil sauce that made the broth OH SO SPICY The service was quick and friendly. The restaurant itself is really little so when it's full it can get loud. read more

We only have satay broth which is peanut based broth with mild spice on it.

No it's not,no outdoor dining! It is small inside, i'm in a wheelchair and barely fit. But food is really good.
