01/18/2026 - In Gardena there are many pho restaurants. This restaurant has plenty of seating and is very clean. Great for one or a group. The service was very nice and friendly. The pho broth is great. Very flavorful. Plenty of meat in the bow as well. Also the regular is reasonably priced in my opinion.

The food was pretty standard. Came here because my partner and I were sick and were craving pho. The vibes are very chill and casual. If you're looking for good vietnamese comfort food this is your place to visit. The line was crazy when we got here, but we got lucky that everyone was waiting for bigger tables and were able to be seated as soon as we walked in. The service was good. It would appear they were very very busy and may need to hire more people, but overall it was a great experience. I forgot to take a before picture of my filet pho I devoured it and realized oopsie!

Enjoying the cooler weather, just not the earlier darkness that comes with the time change. Makes me feel like I'm eating later and always has me feeling like I want to hibernate. Add them together and It's Pho/Ramen weather to me. It's why I ended up here at Pho Hoan. This place is on the corner of Normandie and Redondo. Huge parking lot - where the 99 Cent store was (it's closed). I don't know how it is on the weekends but during the week (the other day), tons of parking. Service was what I have come to expect when eating at a Vietnamese restaurant though I heard the staff conversing in a different language. Ordered, food served. Walked up to the counter to pay. No interaction. I'd say staff was present but other than one of the staff, possibly the manager or owner, who was sitting at one of the tables yell out to me to sit anywhere - there wasn't much exchange with anyone else other than ordering and paying. Food was decent. See pics. Grabbed a Spring Roll and Pho Dac Biet. Everything was as expected - just wish I asked for more onions. I saw some when first served, thinking there was more submerged, but found that, that wasn't the case. I love onions. Everything else was good enough. I liked the place but just felt off with the owner or manager just sitting at a table talking with someone else and yelling across the restaurant to customers walking in to seat themselves. It'll be what it'll be.

Really good pho and very friendly service! Located in a shopping mall, there is plenty of parking and upon entering we were greeted and seated promptly. We ordered the house special pho which was PACKED with protein and the flavor was so delicious! We also got the shrimp spring rolls which were literally so thicc I was surprised they were able to wrap it so neatly. The service was also really great, even though it was pretty busy on a Wednesday night, they were so attentive and friendly :) Definitely would recommend!!

Service was friendly and quick. The restaurant is busy but it's clean and they have their system down. The food was the superstar. I've had A LOT of pho, all over L.A. and the O.C. This is probably one of my favorites. The brisket in my pho was sliced thin and SUPER tender. The broth was absolutely delicious. The egg rolls were crunchy and flavorful. I can't wait to go back.

I decided to try this place since it's close to my house and I was craving pho. Me and my friends got pho, egg rolls and Vietnamese iced coffee. To be quite honest, the pho is kinda bland. I love my Vietnamese food and I'm very particular about my pho broths and this one didn't make the cut. The egg rolls were okay but it didn't come with the lettuce or anything on the side like they do at other pho places. Maybe they're more modernized? Idk but I like to wrap my egg rolls in lettuce. The star of the meal was honestly the iced coffee. I think I like my condensed milk ratio to be larger than the coffee.

We have been coming here for years , probably since the start. Best Pho in all of L.A , their service is exceptional and they have gotten busier over the year, yet the quality is still there. Today I tried their Pandan tea leaf milk tea. Really good tea, it's nutty and perfectly sweetened . Definitely a go to for pho.

I was craving both ribs and pho, so this spot was perfect! I drove 2 hours to visit my cousin and was starving, so I told them to just pick a pho place. Since we were already down the street from this restaurant, we decided to try it. I ordered the pho with beef ribs.. exactly what I'd been craving! It came with two big, tender ribs and cost $18.99. The pho was good. I couldn't finish it all, so I took the soup and one rib to go and enjoyed it again the next day!

Super clean. Friendly service. High quality ingredients. Lots of options. Highly recommend if you are in the area & want some fresh high quality Pho

Lots of parking outside, clean spacious interior, quick staff. We got seated right away. Large menu with premium meat options. The food portions are large and filling, the noodles were perfectly al dente and bouncy. The broth was 10 out of 10!!!! I got the house combination pho. If you plan to get something else and want a side of soup, the portions are large as well.

Flavor Budz Check in! It was freezing out, so my hubby and I craved something hot. Pho's our usual comfort food, and Pho Hoan was on our list. We went on Valentine's Day, which wasn't bad at all; usually, it's a madhouse everywhere. But hey, we took a chance and went in. Right away, Peter, the owner, was super nice and welcoming. The whole staff always yelled "WELCOME!" when anyone walked in. It was so cozy and family-friendly inside. The All-Star game was on in the back, and families were chatting away. There were kids, couples, and singles just enjoying dinner--it was awesome seeing everyone relaxing and hanging out. My hubby and I got Pho--he got shrimp and brisket, I just got brisket. The broth was amazing, not greasy at all, and the brisket was so tender! I ate the whole thing, which is HUGE for me! Ten out of ten. We totally recommend it! Big thanks to Peter and the whole crew--waitstaff and cooks, you guys are awesome and work so well together, it really shows!

Ask the Community - Pho Hoan Pasteur Gardena

    Are there gluten free options?

The Pho noodles are usually made from rice flour so they should be gluten free but verify with the restaurant.

Is their veggie vermicelli pho made from vegetable broth?

We only have satay broth which is peanut based broth with mild spice on it.

Is this restaurant dog friendly? I don't see any outdoor dining! Thank you!!

No it's not,no outdoor dining! It is small inside, i'm in a wheelchair and barely fit. But food is really good.

Purple rice and banchan were delicious as well. I love how thick and crunchy their radish is and I loved pouring some of those juices into my broth about halfway through finishing. We gave this place a try because we were excited to see they have Rice Wine here (since most of the mainstream KBBQ places didn't have this), and we were satisfied beyond our expectations. Parking: A very small dim lot next to the restaurant. Right below the small sign that sits above it. Ambience: We came on a Saturday night (7:00pm) expecting busy wait times but we called in and there was no wait! We were immediately seated. It's a very small restaurant, the booths are big enough to fit a family but bigger parties may need to call in to see if space is available. The vibes are especially different from most bigger and popular places but this qualifies as a hidden gem for sure. Service: Quick and nice! Second time coming to a place where they cook it for you at some points and serve you. They check on you often enough and were quick to see you get all that you ordered. Food: Absolutely nothing I've never had before, we knew we wanted brisket and pork belly, we skipped out on the combos + intestine sections bc of this. Luckily our two meat combo qualified us to also receive a soybean paste soup, steamed egg, and corn cheese for free! We additionally added rice paper to our order for a small charge. The menu is vast and I would like to come back here to try their different meats. I have never had a more flavorful brisket in my KBBQ experience before and the pork belly was thick enough and had that chewiness texture that made it so enjoyable. Employee was nice enough to inform us that the soup + steamed egg are carefully cooked with real flavorful ingredients, so expect high-quality. We didn't go into this place expecting AYCE since we believe places that offer à la carte specializes in quality, so please come with the same idea if you choose to go here! Regardless, our small bodies were filled by how much food we received! Overall, I gave this place a chance despite its smaller reviews, smaller atmosphere, and a generally smaller presence this had in comparison to its competitors. I would suggest you do the same too!

We ordered the xiao long bao, broccoli beef, beef rolls, and chicken chow mein. The xiao long bao was excellent with a good amount of soup in each dumpling, and the beef rolls were probably my favorite item, especially dipped in a mix of black vinegar and soy sauce. The broccoli beef had a nice flavor, though I wished it had a little more meat. The chicken chow mein was the weakest dish for me: the noodle texture was great, but the overall flavor didn't stand out as much as I expected. Ordering was easy and the menu was very approachable thanks to the pictures. The restaurant is on the smaller side, which actually made it easier to get a server's attention when needed. Food also came out pretty quickly. The ambiance is straightforward and comfortable -- nothing fancy, just a solid neighborhood restaurant. Because it's small, you may have to wait if it gets busy, but tables seemed to turn over quickly thanks to the fast service. One practical tip: the portion sizes are bigger than they look.
