Came here with after seeing so many great reviews. This review is based on our first impressions. The restaurant is located in an L-shaped strip shopping center with a common parking lot. We dined for dinner on a Saturday evening. We ordered two varieties of Pho which were brought to our table in large bowls. At first glance it looked like a pretty big meal. But those hopes were dashed when we realized the bowls contained a whole lot of noodles and broth and very little meat. I mean a really little portion of meat. The pho lacked flavor and needed a good dose of the chili that was at the table. Everything considered we got two bowels of noodles and a little meat. The spring rolls were okay. They looked good but were a bit overcooked. The cashier was very nice. He told us they were out of pork chops (that my guest wanted to order). Other than that he was polite and brought us our food. I'd like to say I'll go try this place again. After all it was clean and friendly. But the seating on cold metal chairs was uncomfortable and, as I said, the food totally failed to impress. There are plenty of other Vietnamese restaurants so next time I'll try another

Went around 2pm for the first time. The servers were very friendly. The chicken bánh mì sandwich had plenty of vegetables, but very little chicken.

Their pho is really good and prices are decent. I really liked their oxtail pho. My friend also once brought me pho and their bahn mi sandwich which were both delicious! The pho travels well to-go with the noodles and veggies separated from the broth. The bahn mi was also really good and I will be back to get it again!

One of my ultimate comfort foods is pho, so I've tried my fair share of pho spots. After my dental appointment today, I decided to finally try this place, and I'm so glad I did. The food was really good. I ordered the Saigon pho with egg rolls, while my husband got the banh mi, and honestly, everything was delicious. Special shoutout to the broth and noodles of the pho, so flavorful and comforting. Also, don't skip their Thai tea. No need for boba, the Thai tea alone is already perfect.

The food was delicious, warm, and hearty, and served promptly. Additionally, the restaurant was super clean and we had no problems getting a seat for Friday lunch. No complaints from me, I will be a repeat customer!

Let's start with the positives. The food was fresh, everything looked pretty, and they provided all of the condiments needed. I also appreciate how fast I received my order. Came right on time and was still hot. I ordered delivery through DoorDash. I've never been to this location and decided to try them for the first time. I ordered the oxtail pho, the broth had a nice flavor they give you a lot of broth and noodles. I've never tried oxtail pho before and I love oxtail so I figured this should be a good choice. The oxtail itself had a lot of fat and the meat was flavorless. Definitely wouldn't order it again. When combined with the soup noodles hoisin sauce, and some Sriracha it's pretty decent. I was hoping there would be flavor. It kind of taste like they boiled it. Wasn't a big fan at all. The meat was tender, so that was a plus. I ordered their egg rolls. Those were nice and crunchy. Pretty good flavor. Side note: my dipping sauce had a long curly hair in it so whoever works in the back might want to put on a hairnet. I understand the mistakes happen though. I also ordered their garlic noodles. These were fresh and flavorful. Had a nice garlicy taste I added shrimp those were delicious. This was my favorite item. I also ordered their salad. It was really pretty and bright. It came with a fish sauce I think, on the side. Really refreshing nice flavors. I also ordered their sandwich. Grilled beef banh mi. It was pretty good. The vegetables inside we're fresh. Nice and crunchy. No complaints. I also ordered their Ube coffee and Thai tea. The Ube coffee had great flavor, the Thai tea was really good as well

Got the garlic noodles with shrimp and a side of egg rolls. Solid garlic flavor in the noodles with a little bit of sweetness for balance. The egg rolls were crispy and not greasy at all. Service was very friendly and prompt.

Was looking for good bahn mi so trying this spot for the first time. Very authentic feel with quick and delicious food. Service was fast and friendly. There's a couple of tables inside and it's clean and simple. Overall I would say, good Bahn mi spot in the South Bay.

Got to have my Vietnamese Iced Coffee ~ So delish!

I've been trying different Vietnamese restaurants around town, looking for a place with fresh ingredients and authentic flavors, and that's how I discovered Saigon Eatery. After reading the reviews, I decided to visit a few times with friends, coworkers, and my husband, and every time the food has been truly delicious. What impressed me the most was their Vietnamese sandwich (banh mi). In my opinion, it's the best in our neighborhood. The bread is not too thick, perfectly sized, and the fillings are generous. The texture and balance were just perfect. The noodle soup was also excellent--not greasy, but clean and flavorful. Overall, this place has quickly become one of my favorites.

The noodles are thick, chewy, and clearly made fresh. Broth is clean and dashi-forward. Solid bowl. I also got a spam musubi. It was fine, but the spam-to-rice ratio was not enough in my option. The tempura add-on bar is genuinely a nice touch. Crab meat, cheese, sausage, gyoza, pumpkin, sweet potato, zucchini, potato croquette, chicken katsu, all ranging from about $1.99 to $4.99 per item. Lots of ways to build out your bowl. Service was fast and friendly, Japanese pop in the background, low-key atmosphere. It's a good spot. Not destination dining, but absolutely worth a stop if you're nearby and want something warm and fresh.

It's not a great spot for large groups but we came in early on a Friday evening and there were plenty of seats open. I've heard it's usually pretty crowded so we lucked out. Service is very friendly. Everyone we encountered there was super nice. We ordered the kakiage udon, yamakake (yam) udon, and chicken curry. If you get a noodle dish, you choose between soba and udon noodles and whether you want the dish hot or cold. I ordered the kakiage udon and was initially surprised at the thinness of the udon noodles but they were perfectly cooked and the broth was so flavorful. The curry was also delicious and had a depth of flavor. Good food, good service, and fast. I'll definitely be back.

Their fast casual setup made ordering fast & easy. I was impressed that their credit card processing terminal didn't ask for a tip or even give a choice for one to be added manually. Maybe because they also had a tray return area with trash cans that customers could use. Service was very efficient & friendly. There were plenty of seats open, so we placed our order & sat waiting for our buzzer to go off. Everything came out fast, fresh & very hot, yet not suspiciously fast like any of it was sitting around waiting for us. It was all so yummy, we would never have thought such quality came from this casual of a chain. Pork Chop w/braised pork belly - the pork chop was very tender, the pork belly pieces were small & a really small amount. The sauce on the rice mixed with the pickled veg & cucumber was good w/the meats. Combo #1 - original pork dumplings w/either a soup or soda. These dumplings had super thin skins & a tender meaty filling. We were trying to figure out whether they're made in house bc as thin as the skins are, no way could these be intact if they were frozen & tossed in a bag. The sauce station has dispensers of sesame oil, black vinegar, garlic, soy sauce & hot sauce for you to mix to your personal preference. They do offer bags of frozen dumplings to take home; we saw the corn & chicken and the vegetarian varieties. The pics on the bags looked like rounded, sturdier shaped dumplings vs the rectangular, more delicate skinned versions made for eating there or taking out. This is a legit, reasonably priced ($26.19 for these 2 dishes) dumpling & noodle place. Chain or not, it deserves repeat visits & my high recommendations!
