All of the food was great! The only complaint is I wish there was more meat in the pho considering the price. Compared to other places I've been, this was the least amount of meat. Otherwise, great flavors and would go back.

I went to Pho Hue Oi on a random Wednesday. It was busy, with a steady stream of customers. I really liked the noodles and spring rolls and crispy egg rolls that we got. Everything came out hot and fresh, and the portion sizes were pretty good. My mom actually likes that noodle place better than other recent spots we've been to that are more highly rated on Yelp (#iykyk) if you know, you know. There are many parking spots around there. And afterwards, there are dessert places and other shops that you can go to for after eats. Enjoy.

I've been here close to a dozen times (I don't keep exact count), and true to form, I usually order the same thing: pho #1 plus an appetizer (either the fresh rolls or the pork egg rolls.) Across all those visits, my experience consistently lands at a solid four stars, and I'm happy to recommend this spot. The food is reliably good, and the service is friendly and responsive, which makes it easy to overlook occasional wait times or how close the tables are to each other. Parking has always worked out for me. I've never had trouble finding a spot. Sometimes this is the only place I'll go on a weekend, making the trip just to get pho. Definitely recommend.

Sunday around 1pm: nice clean, spacious seating observed at this restaurant. I like the paintings/artwork for an immersive experience even before ordering the food! I ordered B1. Bun Bo Hue Dac Biet. (See picture) I am not Vietnamese but the fact that it has "blood pudding" convinced me it's authentic or at least worth paying since it's uncommon to find that ingredient in the South Bay! The dish isn't too salty for me and I like the variety of meats served with a generous helping of cilantro . There are white round style noodles underneath. Portion was almost worth 2 meals to me! Staff was attentive - we had 2 kids so extra bowls and utensils were provided. I would definitely like to return and try their other items!

I went to their newest location in Torrance! I love this place. Probably my favorite pho place. I used to go to the one on redondo beach, but this location is way closer to me. They have a booth where you can eat solo, and a bunch of tables inside. They have this special appetizer called the Banh Beo Chen. It's like mochi rice, topped with ground shrimp, crispy pork rinds and green onion. It's super tasty. I never had it any where else! They also have Bun Bo Hue which is a noodle with beef tender shank, pork hock, meat balls, and cooked blood pudding. All of these dishes I never really find in other pho shops. Their regular pho is amazing, but I do love the options of authentic vietnamese dishes offered here. I didn't get it this time but they have a lot of delicious flavored drinks as well. Totally worth trying!

I tried Pho Hue Oi in Torrance and left feeling pretty neutral overall. I ordered the chicken pho and paid the extra $1.50 to upgrade to the "fresh" noodles, plus a pork banh mi to go. Coming from the 626, where pho standards are high, the food itself felt mediocre--flavor was fine but nothing memorable, portions were on the smaller side, and prices felt high for what you get. By the way, I wouldn't upgrade to the fresh noodles again. That said, the ordering counter was efficient. I waited at the counter bar for about 15 minutes and everything came out without issue. The biggest positive here is the space itself: clean, new, modern, and comfortable--definitely one of the nicer-looking pho spots. If I were judging purely on food, I probably wouldn't come back unless there were no other options nearby. The experience was fine, just not compelling enough to stand out given the price and portion size.

It's pretty decent and affordable at Pho Hue Oi in Torrance, CA. The area is walkable to many other restaurants, hotels, grocery stores, and more. Busy vibes inside. It appears to be packed with customers, especially at lunchtime even on weekdays. $13.95-$16.50 for a rice plate here. $5.50 can get you a good beverage too. We had the special combination rice plate and the regular grilled chicken rice plates. Both were actually huge in portion sizes, so they are generous here. Tasted good. Milk tea was in a tall cup. Vietnamese iced coffee with condensed milk was strong in a smaller cup at the same price. Server was definitely busy with hands full. Menu wasn't huge. You can pretty much decide what you want to eat by glancing once or twice. Everything looks very affordable here. You can't get these prices in the San Francisco Bay Area for Vietnamese local foods. Pho Hue Oi is your average and casual local spot, but they did decorate for the holidays. Good location with plenty of free parking nearby. This is a good spot if you are visiting Torrance or making a quick in town stop. Nothing fancy here. It's just a very simple restaurant business.

Celebrating a birthday tonight. Should have checked Yelp before driving here because you can join the waitlist before getting there. Oh well. I hope this helps others. Nice selection of food and drink. It was delicious as well. The place is very popular. Ok, bye.

Ordered a pork banh mi and a side of pho broth To Go. Sandwich rating Taste 4/5 - Pork meat was well marinated Portion - Bread was a little smaller than expected. Pho broth 3/5 - Was pretty light and did the job. Cleanliness - 4/5 Did see some specks of soy sauce on the counter where I was sitting at. Output time - About 10 minutes Place has a versatile menu, but gets the job done when you don't want to drive all the way to OC or 626.

I think the food was good, they ran out of an ingredient in their spicy Pho, so went with a classic pho. For price and portion ratio didn't seem to add up.., I will be honest, i had a higher expectation since someone review this place so highly... Just another over priced Pho place, not special. Service was pretty good when they were pretty slammed due to the rain. Ambiance was nice, newer location.

A solid experience at Pho Hue Oi in Torrance, CA. I ordered the eggrolls and pho dac biet (combination pho) which came with several different types of beef including meatball and brisket. The broth of the pho was quite clear yet flavorful. The noodles had a good texture but unfortunately had a bit of a synthetic taste to them which could happen occasionally when quickly blanched. Overall, service was fast and friendly. Would certainly recommend this place, especially considering the dearth of Viet restaurants in Torrance!

Used to good, this is thw last time I'll be here!

I popped in on Saturday afternoon for lunch and quickly joined the Yelp waitlist. It seemed like everyone was getting seated quickly, so I waited inside. Seemed a little disorganized though because a random couple walked in while I was waiting and they got seated right away.. even though a server knew I was on the list for a table..? Eventually got seated and I ordered a bun bo hue. They ask to make sure you want the pork blood and hock, which I quickly said yes! I wish they gave more than one tiny block of pork blood, but at least the hock was meaty. The soup was not spicy and could've used a little more lemongrass flavor. It was just ok, got the job and craving done. Service was very slow even though they were very well staffed. Food took almost 20 minutes to come out and waters weren't brought out until food was. Looked like they were really prioritizing take out orders. Might come back if the bun bo hue craving strikes again, but might be worth it to just drive to OC..

The noodles are thick, chewy, and clearly made fresh. Broth is clean and dashi-forward. Solid bowl. I also got a spam musubi. It was fine, but the spam-to-rice ratio was not enough in my option. The tempura add-on bar is genuinely a nice touch. Crab meat, cheese, sausage, gyoza, pumpkin, sweet potato, zucchini, potato croquette, chicken katsu, all ranging from about $1.99 to $4.99 per item. Lots of ways to build out your bowl. Service was fast and friendly, Japanese pop in the background, low-key atmosphere. It's a good spot. Not destination dining, but absolutely worth a stop if you're nearby and want something warm and fresh.

Feedback: Great Dumplings, "Sauna" Dining Experience…read more I'm writing this because I genuinely love the food at Bafang Dumpling, but the current dining environment is making it hard to come back. It's clear that the AC is being kept off to save on costs, and it's creating a really uncomfortable atmosphere for everyone involved. Here are a few points regarding the current situation: * Poor Air Circulation: Customers are having to request that the front door stay open just to get a breeze. Eating hot soup and dumplings in a stuffy room isn't exactly the "premium" experience the food deserves. * Employee Welfare: While it's uncomfortable for me for thirty minutes, I can't imagine how difficult it is for the staff working long shifts next to a hot kitchen with no climate control. * The Vibe: Penny-pinching on the electricity bill is costing you the "dine-in" appeal. I'd love to enjoy my meal without feeling like I'm in a greenhouse. I had to ask the employee to keep the doors open to keep the air circulation. Bottom Line: The food is 10/10, but the temperature is a dealbreaker. Please turn the AC back on so your customers--and your hard-working team--can breathe!
