I have to say the customer service is very friendly and attentive with anything you need. Food goes beyond good is amazing, first time and I'll keep coming. Thanks for that flavor.

A small little store open for breakfast and lunch, the place feels cozy with its wood facade floor and walls and ability peer straight into the kitchen. Service is minimal, stemming from the small space and order at counter approach, making the restaurant feel quaint. I ordered the (Philly) Cheese Steak and it was underwhelming. The cheese melted excellently and the mushroom impart a wonderful savory taste but the impact of the flavors is lacking. The beef tastes nonexistent, the bread texture is off, and, this will only offend those who care, there are peppers in the sandwich. There are makings of a good sandwich here, but the punch and depth of flavor just isn't there. Supposedly, they are known for their burrito, so the fault may lie with me.

Breakfast Tacos not the best picture but trust me they are delicious.

I've been to this restaurant before for lunch, but today I was in the area and decided to try their breakfast tacos. They were flavorful. I opted out of getting the ham and sausage and instead added avocado. I loved how the bacon was chopped up in the eggs with onions and hash browns. I really enjoyed these tacos. The services was fast the parking was pretty good. The ambiance gives me small town diner vibes.

Landed at 7:00am at LAX and was looking for breakfast. This place was open so I took the 5 minute drive there and had the special of the day. The naked burrito it was great the avocado was fresh and the pico was nice and fresh definitely will be coming back when I'm in the area.

This small establishment is a very good spot in LA. I went for their Philly Cheesesteak with a side of fries. The cheese pull, the portion, the sandwich was an A+ Service was also as good, as the guy on register helped me pick my food, and gave me other suggestions

The weekday hours on Yelp state they close at 3:00PM. Apparently, that is not accurate. More on that in a bit. I wish I could write a good review. I used to love the pancakes here. But then the last time I tried them, they had this very processed or cheap quality taste where something in the batter or recipe went down in quality and had a more processed taste to it. But I figured the saving grace was that their breakfast burrito was still absolutely delicious. Now back to the closing time. I was in the area on a Tuesday and craving Bread & Butter's breakfast burrito. I strolled in at 2PM and looked at the menu above the counter to make sure they still served my favorite. I don't know the employee's name. But she was very young (looked about 19 or 20). All she had to say was, "Hi. We're closing. Sorry." I replied, "It reads online that you close at 3:00." She replies, "We close at 2:30 and we're closing down now." She didn't seem too concerned or interested in helping. This wasn't getting anywhere. And I didn't feel like asking an employee to do their job when, clearly, leaving for the day was more important to them instead of servicing customers. But even if you do close at 2:30, why do you stop offering food (even takeout would be a fine option) 30 minutes before closing? Sadly, Bread & Butter is not what it once was. Hope I can find a decent breakfast burrito somewhere else. But I would very much welcome an email from the owner (I believe it is still Joe who owns the restaurant) if he would like to address the aforementioned issues.

The food, staff, and ambiance were beyond amazing!!! We came for our 530pm dinner reservation and was seated right away. I had asked if I can have a window seat and they made sure to accommodate. Next time I think I would like to try the outdoor patio space. We ordered so much food. Every single dish that came out was super yummy, but the dish that blew mine and my husband's mind was that Branzino. Best Branzino we had ever tasted. The outside was crispy and the inside was super moist and tender. The restaurant even had a kids menu. So for all the folks with young kiddos great place to take your kids. Our waiter was fantastic and really made this experience that much better. Food 10/10 Ambiance 10/10 Service 10/10 View 10/10 We will be coming back soon!

The Strand House offers good food, goodservice, and amazing views and vibes at reasonable, but upscale prices. We came with my family for an early dinner on a Sunday afternoon. Off the lunch menu we had the Italian panini ($29), which was a surprisingly complex sandwich with mortadella, salami, onions, lettuce, fresh Marzano tomatoes, and many other vegetables. It was served with an exceptional set of fries, which had a great amount of garlic and the perfect blend of crisp on the outside and softness on the inside, along with tangy ketchup. The children got the pasta bolognese ($14), which was a standard bolognese, although the pasta was a little overcooked. We also got a child salmon ($21), a surprisingly generous piece of fish, well cooked with a somewhat crispy exterior and soft interior alongside broccolini and whipped mashed potatoes. The service was decent - our server collected our order, checked on us appropriately, and generally took care of us throughout our visit. As the pictures suggest, the interior is quite upscale, scattered across three floors with a view overlooking the main road and the beach itself. This led to an excellent, breezy atmosphere and spectacular views, perfect for a hot day. Prices are a little on the elevated side, but not excessive, given the highly popular location of this restaurant and excellent views. Overall, The Strand House offers an appropriately upscale lunch or dinner at an elevated price for the discerning customer looking for good food and excellent views with a price to match. Our server was very attentive, kind, patient, and accommodating. For example, when my sister in law asked if there was a kid's menu for her children, the server politely stated that they didn't have one. However, he immediately picked up on the fact that these kids were highly fussy and picky eaters, and offered up buttered noodles, something that was not on the menu. The kids ended up loving this. I, on the other hand, was disappointed with most of the food I had. If I had to rate the food, it would be 3 stars. I ordered the MB Post Burger, which comes with a 1/2 pound grilled patty, American Cheese, applewood bacon, and honey chipotle aioli, between English muffin buns. I added a sunny side up egg to it for an extra few bucks. The burger was messy, and difficult to eat. Ended up having to eat it with a fork and knife. I expected the egg to be a bit runny, but it was cooked all the way through. All in all, it wasn't enjoyable to eat. The crispy fries were not any better. To me, they tasted overly fried. The only thing I thought was exceptional was the bacon cheddar buttermilk biscuit with the whipped honey butter. It was buttery and crispy goodness. This item alone is worth coming back to this restaurant. Overall, this place is a solid 4 star restaurant. If you're planning on visiting this place, I have to warn you that parking may be a real pain to find since the area is very popular with beach goers. Things were exacerbated over the weekend due to a volleyball tournament. Had to drive around for like 30 minutes to find parking.

The house poke salad, crispy pork gyoza, edamame, grilled jumbo scallop skewers, grilled shrimp skewers, and the Wagyu ribeye yakitori were all packed with incredible flavor. To drink, I had the refreshing Lychee Mocktail, and we also tried King Plus's five-sake flight, which is a great way to experience a variety of authentic Japanese sakes. Then we headed inside for the hot pot experience. We sampled four different broths--Kombu, Tonkotsu, Spicy Miso, and Sukiyaki--before cooking premium beef and fresh seafood right at our table. The Royal Seafood Set featured shrimp, Atlantic salmon, fresh scallops, fish balls, and the chef's curated seafood selection, while the Royal Beef Experience included ribeye, chuck roll, and beef belly. But the highlight for me was the Japanese A5 Miyazaki Wagyu. It was beautifully marbled, incredibly tender, and practically melted in my mouth after just a few seconds in the broth. We wrapped up the meal with a refreshing Yuzu Pop Sparkler, creamy matcha ice cream, and rich matcha cheesecake. The dining room was very loud, and we were seated right by the front door, so there was a constant flow of people walking by. I understand every restaurant has a few less-than-ideal tables. I worked in restaurants myself but it definitely affected the experience. If you're dining with a smaller group, I'd recommend sitting at the bar instead. From what I remember from previous visits, the bartenders are fantastic, and I actually prefer the atmosphere there. I had also noted on my reservation that we were celebrating my birthday.
