Very interesting Thai restaurant. Been to many Thai restaurants but not one where they serve breakfast items and burgers. Glad we discover this spot. Ambiance: 5/5 - Very simple, unique, and clean. Service: 5/5 - Very friendly and service was quick. Food: 5/5 - Food was delicious. Really enjoyed my Thai Omelet over Rice. We ordered the followings: - Thai Omelet over Rice - Thai Chicken Satay Sandwich - Holy Basil Ground Chicken (Instead of Pork) Would definitely come back and try other items.
$15 breakfast sandwich (egg, cheese, lettuce, tomato, spicy mayo) Thai omelette - good! Eggs were soft and fluffy with white rice underneath. Simple and satisfying Thai coffee - not great, very watered down and tasted like milk more than anything else $15 mango sticky rice shaved ice- good as well. It was coconut ice cream with a little bit of mango on top and a side of sticky rice. There wasn't so much mango, hoped there would've been more, but overall was good. It was the shaved snow type so nice and soft. Sticky rice was perfect
This cute little spot has potential, but the service during our visit was really disappointing. We had to ask for water refills, and our server actually brought us the check before we were even done ordering everything. We had to ask if we were being rushed to leave because it felt so inappropriate. When we ordered dessert, the dirty dishes were just left sitting on the table. To make matters worse, only one of our two appetizers arrived. When I asked about the second one, the server initially said it was on its way, but then admitted she forgot to put the order in, so I just canceled it. I also asked for no peppers and to substitute onions on my main dish, but that modification was completely ignored. I didn't even want to ask again when it was at the table. On the positive side, the food was okay overall, and my son really enjoyed his chicken fried rice. It's a cute place, but they desperately need to clean up their service and attention to detail.
Was driving by and wifey was craving for matcha and thought she'd like this place as it's a cute Thai cafe. There's ample of parking outside and parking garage. We were here on a Sunday afternoon and was able to park outside (last spot). We ordered matcha latte, Thai ice coffee, 3 shots of this Thai egg thing and spicy Thai basil. My wife didn't see that matcha shaved ice and regretted ordering the drink and wished she order the shaved ice instead. The Thai ice coffee was pretty strong. The egg shots were interesting. I ordered two +$1 soy and 1 regular. I thought the eggs were a bit over cook They offer cute kid plate and cup lol it made my daughter happy :) service was good and they play cute Thai music in the background. They offer a lot of breakfast and dessert options. If we're in town again would def want to come back for the dessert.
Finally ate here after walking past and perusing the menu for months. Stopped in on a Friday right around 1pm. I ordered the best avocado toast and added fruit, with a supreme Thai iced coffee. My husband ordered a burger and iced tea. My Thai coffee was good, albeit a little sweet for my liking. It's not super sweet but I am not a fan of sweet coffee. The waitress did warn me but I still ordered it so that was on me. My avocado toast was beautiful and yummy but I would get a weird fish scent when I would bite into it. I don't know if it's from the chimichurri sauce but it was somewhat off putting even though it didn't affect the taste. My husband enjoyed his burger and fries. Our waitress was very friendly and efficient and the vibe of the place is chill and casual. They have a pretty extensive menu that can be a bit overwhelming. Overall, I enjoyed my dining experience but I did find it a bit pricey. I do want to come back to try some other dishes.
Very cute place that serve American breakfast style food and some Thai cuisine. I got the Thai omelette and it was very good and the wife got the croissant egg and bacon sandwich. I had a bite of that and was impress. The croissant was flaky and buttery. Thai coffee wasn't great but it's fine. Overall great vibes and a fun place to eat and people watch.
Wow such a great find!! Can't believe how close this is to the beach and next to LAX and my hotel. Cute and quaint all day Thai cafe really love what they did here. Super laid back great spot to grab breakfast with friends and family or even impress that one foodie friend you haven't seen in a while! Now to the food! I ordered the Best Avocado toast, house made chimichurri, honey, nori goma, radish, and power green, sourdough! Fantastic so good prob the best avocado I've ever had ngl I've had some good ones but yeah wasn't overly sweet either had a great balance truly enjoyed this one! I also ordered a Breakfast croissant, well because I'm a foodie, which was absolutely delicious! Super flakey croissant with egg, cheese, lettuce, tomato, bacon, spicy mayo. Egg and bacon cooked just right all the flavors came together like a perfect bite every time. Even the tomato was red and brought a nice touch to the whole sandwich. The waitress was super busy as she was the only one running the front. She crushes it I've seen bigger restaurants struggle with more staff and less people. Thank you so much for letting change tables mid dinning to sit outside is the sun!!! I was truly impressed because this was the type of restaurant I was looking for this morning near my hotel and had healthy breakfast options and was local! Absolutely coming back to this gem anytime I'm in the area.. Thank you so Toast & Thai love your little cafe! Can't wait to try the other menu items, like the Biscotti's lovers waffles!!!
The food was pretty decent. There's a decent amount of choices and the food tasted authentic. The only thing I didn't enjoy was they only have chicken as choice of protein. And the Pad See Ew noodle was too broken apart, I didn't care for it. The service was good, the waitress was pretty attentive and the ambiance is decent. It's a decent size restaurant with outdoor seating as well. If I'm in the neighborhood I don't mind coming again.
Came here on Saturday with little more than a subtle craving for dessert after a hefty meal at the restaurant next door. I left shocked at how much I enjoyed my experience. This place has chill vibes, super friendly staff, and two of my favorite treats: mango sticky rice and bing su. The mango sticky rice and bing su (the one I had was called the Cookie Monster Shaved Ice) were fantastic. The bing su, in particular, was off the charts. It was incredibly creamy, fluffy, and loaded with cookie crunch. Judging by the photos left by other patrons, people don't even come here for the dessert. I'm going to have to return this weekend to try out other stuff off the menu. Can't wait.
This place was DEAD when my friend and I went here at around 5PM on a Sunday. It wasn't a big place at all and it looked like you could order at a kiosk and have your food ready to-go, so maybe eating in isn't their specialty? I don't know, but this place had a big menu and decent reviews so we chose to hit up this spot. The vibes in here were super laid back. There was only one woman who we saw working which was also the hostess and everyone else's server, which was just us and another woman to tables away from us. We had a difficult time choosing something to order since the menu was so diverse. Everything from croffle ice cream, to clam chowder, to a full Thai menu. I saw banh mi on the menu and instantly knew I had to order it since I've never tried it before. So, I ordered the chicken meatball banh mi sandwich with a side salad (removing the jalapeño and spicy mayo). My friend ordered a Thai iced coffee and the pineapple curry. The food came out relatively quickly. My friend enjoyed her Thai iced coffee, but she said she wished she'd ordered the Thai tea instead. She also really liked her pineapple curry, and it came out piping hot. I tried it and it was super spicy, so not for me, but she really enjoyed it. My banh mi sandwich was interesting. Right off the bat, it was 75% bread. The bread wasn't bad. In fact, it was chewy and not tough to tear into, but the sandwich itself was mostly bread. There were only like three meatballs in the sandwich, which were cut in half, and I feel like there wasn't anything special about the meatballs. If I was blindfolded, I would think they were the Great Value frozen meatballs in a bag from Walmart. The pickled cabbage was nice though, even if the mixture made the entire bottom of the sandwich soggy af (but I like soggy bread so it was fine with me). I tore most of the bread off and left it on the plate. The side salad dressing also spilled onto the sandwich and contributed to the soggy bread. Now that I'm looking at the photo I took of the sandwich, there wasn't much cilantro on there at all. The pickled cabbage was at the very bottom buried in between all the bread.

I didn't leave disappointed, but I also didn't leave feeling like I'd want to come back. The restaurant itself is clean, modern, and has a nice atmosphere. It feels like one of those places where you'd meet up with friends, relax, and chat for a while. Visually, it makes a great first impression. The food, however, was average. I ordered the Best Avocado Toast, and while it wasn't bad, it's hard to justify the price. At the end of the day, it's avocado on toast, and I've honestly had more flavorful versions elsewhere for less money. The smoked salmon toast was also underwhelming. The salmon surprisingly lacked much of that smoky flavor, and the bread felt thicker than the toppings themselves, making the balance a little off. The shrimp Tom Yum soup was probably my biggest disappointment. At $14, I expected something with bold, authentic flavors. Instead, it tasted fairly basic. It had the citrusy notes you'd expect, but it was sweeter than I prefer, likely because of the amount of cherry tomatoes used. The service is where things became frustrating. We waited around 20 minutes before our order was taken, then roughly another 30 minutes before food started coming out. What made it more frustrating was that everything arrived at completely different times. The matcha latte came first, then the Tom Yum soup, and it was another 20 minutes before the rest of the entrées arrived. We ended up waiting so everyone could eat together instead of one person eating while everyone else watched. Normally I don't mind waiting if a restaurant is busy, but based on many of the Yelp reviews, this doesn't seem like a one-time occurrence. A common theme is that there's only one server running the dining room. Our waitress was friendly and polite, but she was clearly overwhelmed, juggling six or more tables by herself. I don't blame her--I blame the staffing. At one point I even watched someone wait over 30 minutes for two specialty drinks because the server was busy with other tables. That really summed up the experience. If the food had completely blown me away, I could overlook the long wait. Unfortunately, the flavors were simply average, so the overall experience didn't justify the prices or the time spent waiting. Would I come back? Probably not. I'm glad I gave it a try because it's a nice-looking café, but with average food, premium prices, and consistently slow service, there just wasn't enough to make me want to return.
Pretty cute cafe that offers a large variety of Asian dishes! I only tried Thai dishes this time. I ordered Pad See Ew, Panang curry, and Khao Soi Chicken. Everything was good but a little pricey. However, I'm glad a place like this exists for the community. I would love to try the shaved ice (bingsoo) next time. Parking: available in a parking lot and additional parking in an underground garage.
My friend and I came here for lunch and were pleasantly surprised! The whole menu looks pretty good and feels very fusion. We got the Crispy Shrimp Wontons and I got the Panang Curry. The wontons were super crispy and I loved the flavor of the curry. I finished the whole thing in one sitting! Service was pretty quick and the interior is cute. Definitely want to try some of their other more brunch like dishes.

Such a cute little space :-) a lot of options for food.which is nice. I came only for a quick bite- I had a coffee and a honey toast!! Soo delicious. My server was very nice (he was the one who suggested the honey toast & I'm so glad I listened to him) and my items came out quick! I definitely recommend this place to everyone! read more
Sort of a jack-of-all-trades, but master of none restaurant. It offers American classics, Thai food, Vietnamese and other Southeast Asian dishes, and dim sum. So it's good for a large group or if you have any pick eaters/children. I ordered: Fried tofu - crispy shell and soft inside, but texture aside, the taste was a bit off. The sauce helped make up for it, but it wouldn't be something I ordered again. Roti - the curry was very sweet which surprised me. I've had this dish elsewhere and usually the curry is spicy-sweet. The roti was flaky! Strawberry bingsoo - had more syrup than I'm used to for bingsoo. Otherwise my favorite dish I tried here. It's their prerogative, but I think this place would do better with a more focused menu. Based on the other reviews, there's clearly some star dishes people routinely order so it might be cost effective for them to pare down whatever isn't doing as well. If I'm in the area, I'll give them another try and see if the dishes mentioned in the reviews are better than what I ordered. read more

What a darling spot. I love cute eateries like this in El Segundo. My friend and I ordered the chicken noodle soup and chicken rice soup. Paired very well with their spicy fish sauce which I highly recommend requesting. We arrived on an early Saturday morning. We were quickly greeted by the waitress there. Service was quick, and the place filled up pretty fast in the next hour. Highly recommend if you're meeting a friend or a solo date for breakfast! read more

What a cute little cafe! Love that it's owned and operated by Thai American people as I'm always happy to support immigrant and POC owned small businesses. The food was delicious. Even the eggs were really flavorful and everything was cooked just right. Bacon and potatoes were just the perfect amount of crisp and chewy, the croffle was super delicious and warm. The eggs were perfect! Our coffee and matcha latte came out late, well after the food, but they were delicious. But the food did come out quickly. The service was a little off as I had to ask for the check and then bring it to her, too. But she definitely made up for everything in kindness and obvious pride in her cafe. Came here for breakfast; very cute place that serves up big smiles. The service was kind. My son had the waffles. One bite and he lit up. I had a Vietnamese coffee, but decided I would come back to eat. I came back with a friend and had the avocado toast. As an avocado officiando, I'd say the chimicchuri sauce makes it on of the best I've had. I'd also recommend the Ginger tea, so good! read more
First time visiting and am pleasantly impressed with the cute, casual, and clean vibe inside. Service was friendly and attentive. Food came out quick and tasty. Thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast burrito, albeit a bit pricey at $18. The pineapple in the pico de Gallo was an unexpected, but nice touch. A number of parties were dining in throughout my visit, which was nice to see. I'd definitely come back again. read more
The food was very tasty, but definitely not enough. I wish they had given me more potatoes because they were really good. Not sure what type of toast was on my plate, but it was really good! I mean really good. As far as the service you basically placed your own order through the kiosk, but the food came out pretty quickly and it was fresh. I love the ambience. It was small and intimate, but really cute. I would definitely visit again if I'm in the area and based on flavor profile, cleanliness and professionalism, definitely a 10 read more

I wasn't expecting to be blown away by something as simple as fries, but these are on another level. Perfectly golden, crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside, and generously tossed in truffle oil with just the right amount of parmesan--not too heavy, but enough to make every bite rich and satisfying. read more

Toast Café ! So Good I Can't Stop Thinking About It! I had the Penang curry with shrimp and it was incredible. The flavor was rich, fresh, and perfectly balanced. The shrimp were tender and cooked just right. I also tried the croffle with honey butter and ice cream on the side, and it was absolutely perfect!Crispy, sweet, and comforting in every bite. Toast Café has officially become one of my new favorite spots! read more

We've taken too long to check this place out and glad we finally did. Its charming and clean and service is great!!! The menu is pretty big for a small spot but they cross utilize a lot and nothing is extravagant. Its just good, comforting, well described both on the menu and verbally and well executed. I came here after landing at LAX. Super quick drive from the airport for a light meal. I had the caprese toast which was absolutely delicious! Other than fresh mozzarella and tomato it also has a chimichurri spread and it was topped with balsamic vinaigrette all topped on toasted sourdough. Delish marriage of flavors in every bite! Coffee was also good! Nice and fresh. Service was friendly and attentive. Prices were extremely reasonable. I would definitely return here when I'm back in the area! 5 stars all the way! read more
