I'm glad I dined-in because I enjoyed the experience here from start to finish. The service was outstanding - the server was very nice and the food came out lightening fast. But I think the food was even better. I ended up ordering the Lomo Saltado instead of the Rotisserie Chicken. Not sure why, but I did not regret my decision. My order came with some dinner rolls and soup. The Lomo Saltado was a home run. The beef was tender - the whole dish was packed with flavor. The rice and cilantro soup (not sure what it's called) was fantastic too. It was very simple, but satisfying to eat. Move over chicken noodle soup. This would be the perfect thing to have when you're feeling sick. One thing I should warn you about. There's a bottle of green stuff sitting on every table. Proceed with caution when pouring it on your food. It's tasty, but very spicy. That thing immediately set off alarm bells on my tongue. After watching the Chargers loose to the Raiders at Sofi, my group of friends and I decided to go eat the pain away at El Pollo Inka. One of my friends is Peruvian and he really recommended this location. Its a fairly large restaurant that has ample seating inside and it also looks like you can easily get items to go. My friend mentioned that they have some To-Go locations, so thats neat. We were greeted by friendly staff and they quickly seated our party of 8. I ordered the Pollo Saltado and my gf got the Beef Saltado, at the recommendation of our friend. We got yummy complimentary bread with butter and a green sauce. The green sauce is made from cilantro and a different type of chile than the ordinary, hence for the salsas unique yummy but spicy flavor( My whole table was Latino and we could all handle the spice level) It was BOMB and I added it to all of my food once it arrived. Great ambiance with red seats and decorations. I tried the lomo saltado which is white rice with beef and fries. It was a good combo! Generous portion. Also it comes with a free bowl of chicken soup. This place is not the same as it used to be. Unfortunately, our experience was very disappointing. Jessica was our server, and from the moment she took our order, it felt as though we were bothering her. Her attitude was noticeably unpleasant, and I also observed her interactions with other tables, where she seemed equally bothered by the customers she was serving. The table next to us had a different server, and I honestly wish we could have had her instead. Customer service makes a huge difference in the overall dining experience, and unfortunately, we did not feel welcomed or valued during our visit. To make matters worse, our food was served cold. I've been here so many times. This is not a fancy location, but it's a full service restaurant. The food is always consistently good. My friend loves coming here because she doesn't have a good Peruvian place near her...so we are here at least once a month. We've been coming here for over 30 years, since we used to work in El Segundo/Redondo Beach area and when they only had 1 of the unit in the plaza (now they have expanded to 4 units). Now we drive an hour to come here whenever we need to go to LAX or in the neighborhood. My favorite is always their lomo saltado, it's always perfectly stir fried with flavorful and tender beef and crispy french fries. I also love their aji pepper sauce always pour a bunch on my plate. today we also tried their seafood pasta, very tasty as well. Hubby has ordered their rotisserie chicken and thought it was really good, especially when they're just out of the oven. We recently visited Peru/Machu Picchu and we've found we still like El Pollo Inka's lomo saltado the best. I also like their complimentary chicken rice soup with lots of cilantro. It's made of their rotisserie chicken bones so it's really flavorful. Their service staff is busy and usually very quick and friendly. This is one the best locations, 75% of the El Polo Inka locations are great, this one included, and then there's a serious quality control issue in the other 25%, specifically the El Segundo PCH location. However, I'll leave that for another review, and focus on the good of this location! Very solid Peruvian food at a fair price. The chicken soup and the green sauce served on the side are EXCEPTIONAL, I buy extra bottles of the green sauce to take home and I'd love to have the soup recipe so I can try and recreate it. It's a simple chicken soup but it's so flavorful and full, it would be perfect for a cold or a rainy day. The soup and sauce are included with all entrees, along with a small bread basket with rolls. The rolls are fine, they're just a vessel for that amazing incredible God-given sauce. The entrees are exceptional too - the rotisserie chicken plates are a great price, it's hard to beat the $14 quarter chicken lunch meal. The chicken is perfectly roasted, rich and juicy meat with crispy skin. The side salad is really good too, and the french fries are decent, I wish they were served crispier. I love the saltado de mariscos, which is $20, served with a generous portion of fish, calamari, and shrimp. The shrimp is my least favourite, it's fine but uninteresting, the fish and calamari are SO TASTY. The portions used to be bigger, I used to never be able to finish my food and leave with leftovers, the portions are still enough to leave me slightly uncomfortably full, but I'm not leaving with leftovers anymore. To be fair , food prices have good up drastically, and the saltado de mariscos has only gone up from $18 to $20 in the last year. A reasonable compromise. I highly recommend this el pollo inka location and most of the other locations - just avoid the El.Segundo PCH location (rude service, bad food, whoever cooks there can't perform to the standard of the other restaurants, the same recipes come out so much worse). All the saltado plates are great for a classic and comforting Peruvian dish, the chicken meals are some of the best value around, and the green sauce is so good you could drink it. read more

Parking lot is a very small. They have more tops than they can have cars so plan ahead if you're going on a Friday or weekend night. Go early and/or a weekday. They have a tablet for getting your name in. They use Yelp for it so it's simple. I went on a Monday night and the place was almost empty. Crowd started showing up later but not a lot. They are known for their chicken but I've never had it. I always order the loma saltado, which was delicious. It came with rolls and their cilantro rice soup. These dishes were prepared with ample protein and rice, especially the Chaufa de Mariscos - the amount of seafood that's in this fried rice is absolutely packed! Shrimp, fish, calamari, lightly fried with rice and egg and green onion, not at all, greasy and very savory! The Lomo Saltado what is well flavored, and the thief was tender and tasty! Did I mention the portion? The portion is so generous that comfortably three people can eat one dish and two hungry man could eat this together. And one really extremely hungry person could probably finish don't think but I highly doubt it.! it truly is mountainous the amount of food that they give for the price. The only comment that I have is that they package their take out dishes in Styrofoam, which does concern me a little bit because the food is hot and it seems to melt the Styrofoam.
