Eddie V's Prime Seafood does it again. This is the standard for fine elegant dining. We have visited the Orlando and Chicago locations and Los Angeles did not disappoint!! Valet was easy and fast at only $12.00. There is also a parking garage that you can get validation from the restaurant for free!! [[HIGHLIGHT]]The ambiance of the restaurant was what you expect from Eddie V's.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Jazmyn W. Was absolutely exceptional from start to finish. She has the best energy and personality. She upholds the standard here. Her professionalism and warmth was amazing. She made us feel like superstars!! She had no lack of knowledge and provided great recommendations. We didn't want her to leave our table. All staff were great; the host staff and wait staff were the best. The chef's and kitchen staff were top notch. Everything item was prepared perfectly and tasted excellent!! Lobster Tacos- Amazing Parmasan Crusted Sole - Amazing Crab Fried Rice- Amazing Brussel Sprouts- Amazing Cheesy Potatoes- Amazing Cocktails are liquid perfection!! Go to this location if you have time.

I wish they had more Eddie V's in LA but at least happy we get to enjoy this location by LAX. Their happy hour is always great with the lobster bites that were so yummy, it's typically only available by the bar area. We also enjoyed delicious entrees like their crab fried rice, the fresh fish and the lamb chops were all delicious!

I recently entertained an LAX-LAWA associate who was instrumental in my past workforce career (job fairs & events) as it pertained to LAX, or Los Angeles International Airport. I wished to connect with her in an effort to re-establish our work relationship after being out of the loop the last few years. I was hopeful that Eddie V's would prove an ideal location with which to impress. Indeed it was! [[HIGHLIGHT]]We began what would turn out to be one of the most enjoyable outings in fine dining since I have been in L.A., and the South Bay/Manhattan Beach area in particular.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]I can say that Eddie V's hit on all three elements that most look for when considering fine dining options-the ambiance (location itself), the food, and of course my #1 thing-the level of customer service![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Other than past experiences in my 2nd home of New Orleans, (where top tier customer service is to be expected from "hole in the walls" to century old restaurants such as Antoine's, Galatoire's, and Commander's Palace-this was bar none my best fine dining experience in Los Angeles.......ever! Over the course of the next few hours, we would indulge in the following: Starters: *Caesar Sald-light and scrumptious. (I devoured this option in under 10 minutes) *Shrimp Cocktail-presented as a table spread as opposed to the shrimp being hooked on the outside of a generic wine glass. The shrimp were large and super fresh. We both moved in for the attack here! Dinner: *Crab Cakes (3) These are bar none the absolute best in L.A. I had two, and my guest knocked out one of them-they tasted just like Gulf crab-which is saying something. *One 8oz Filet Mignon-cooked to perfection (we kind of split this) lol Beverages: *GL Substance (aka the house red), which I enjoyed thoroughly. * Smoked Old Fashioned (part of a nice presentation where our server literally lit up fire and "smoked it" in front of my guest. *Perfect Margarita-a certified margarita according to my guest. * Fresh coffee and cream-hot and fresh like the food! Desert: *Celebration Dessert which consisted of a variety of special treats-all of which were complimentary. *Meyer Lemon Tart-a mouthwatering offering that was the epitome of that perfect blend where lemon and sugar meet in the middle. Customer Service The CSA, or Customer Service All Star of this experience was Kayla P-pictured. Honorable mention goes out to hostess Azhanee-pictured. Server Kayla P and Hostess Azhanee collaborated as a team and ennsured that my guest was greeted by name and that her valet was already paid upon arrival! GM Melissa L Pacana checked in on us a few times, thereby adding the cherry to the top of this A-1 experience. Special thanks to Server Kayla P for taking super loving care of us-you're a credit to Darden Restaurants, & this Eddie V's in particular.

Shout out to Hamza, our amazing server who not only took amazing care of us, but remembered each name in our party. Thank you for the amazing service. On to the food.... This was my first time here but it won't be my last! My filet was cooked to perfection. The asparagus were quite delicious and my friends enjoyed the lamb chops and chicken. The live band was the cherry on top. We will definitely be back!!

Came here for Valentine's Day and my birthday. Staff were super sweet and friendly. Drinks and food were amazing. The crab fried rice, lobster mashed potatoes, truffle Mac and cheese, steak, oysters, all fantastic. Restaurant was decorated for the holiday. Nice location with valet parking. 100% recommend for a celebration meal or nice date.

Eddie V's in El Segundo checks every box for a high‑end steakhouse experience. The ambiance is classy without being stuffy, the service is smooth, and the food and drinks hit exactly where they should -- very much in the same league as Houston's, Morton's, and Ruth's Chris. But also, it was very "colorful." I did not know we had a steakhouse in the South Bay The two things that really stood out: * Weekend Happy Hour -- surprisingly strong, great value, and a perfect way to start the night. * Wagyu dumplings -- rich, flavorful, and honestly one of the best bites on the menu. If you're looking for a polished night out with great energy, this is a solid choice.

What an experience. Every dish was absolutely amazing. Point Judith calamari is a mouth watering appetizer. They have this Kung Pao sauce you can drizzle over..mmm...mouthwatering...I loved it so much, I was even having dreams about it. Eddie V had me at lobster mashed potatoes. Oh myyy heavens to Betsy!! Everything was great! Israel was an awesome waiter and took good care of us. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Loved the beautiful layout.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Highly recommend this place.

I came here with my boyfriend on Valentine's Day and restaurant was decked out in the cutest pink and red decorations. The hostess even sprinkled heart-shaped confetti on the dining table before seating us, which I thought was a sweet and festive touch. :) In terms of the meal, the Jumbo Crab Cakes were the star of the show. The crab was incredibly soft and fresh, and it paired so well with the complimentary bread and butter with a squeeze of lemon juice. It was super cool how they prepare the Tableside Steak Tartare right in front of you too. The mashed potatoes were buttery with plush chunks of lobster; super filing as a side and would be good to share amongst at least 3-4 people. The only thing I didn't particularly care for were the oysters. I loveeee oysters and had high hopes for the ones at Eddie V's, but they were way too small for my liking :/ Overall, it was a memorable experience, both in the food and in the service. :)

Amazing wine selection, let your sever make a suggestion! Outstanding!

Birthday Shenanigans! I love live music so we popped in for some live music and some amazing food! Shout out to Amy and the service manager Megan for making it a special night! The service was impeccable..... Let's get into this food .... It was Awesome!!! #SpecialService for sure

This place is my absolute favorite and I'm still upset that they closed the Newport Beach location. The cocktails are always made with perfection and ice cold. I was craving a dirty martini so when my bartender Keilani asked me if I wanted blue cheese stuffed olives, oh man was she reading my mind. The oysters are so fresh and delicious and I love the mignonette here. Even better when on happy hour pricing. And the crab cake....I eat the crab cake here as a meal because it's that full of meat and delicious. I also tried the Mini Filet Mignon sandwiches today and they were delicious. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I loved that this location in El Segundo had a nice indoor/outdoor bar and patio seating.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]They also had some nice live jazz music.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The service from the moment you are greeted at the door is always on par too. I was so worried they wouldn't let me in today wearing shorts but they very warmly welcomed me in. My understanding is you just can't be in athletic shorts and a sports bra in general since this is a very nice establishment. Be sure to check their website if you have any specific dress code questions.

Had a great experience at Eddie V's. The food was great and the service was fantastic even on a a very busy Mother's day weekend. [[HIGHLIGHT]]We sat at a table in the bar area where they had nice chill live jazz music.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

"Go Shorty, it's your birthday! We're gonna party like it's your Birthday!!" Yes, you guessed it, I had the privilege of spending my birthday at Eddie V's this past weekend (May 22 for anyone who is keeping track). I have been here before and it is one of my favorite places for a boogie happy hour. However this visit, I was here for dinner with my friend on Shawnté Day (put it on your calendars for next year!) I was greeted with a smile and kind words by the gentleman at the door. I am not sure what his official title is, but it definitely set the vibe to have a handsome man in a suit opening the door and greeting me with a smile (Check). When I entered the hostesses were very nice, and when I informed them that it was my birthday, they lit up and gave me well wishes. [[HIGHLIGHT]]My date was waiting patiently in their designated waiting area (because I always show up fashionably late), and we were escorted to a beautiful round booth in the lounge/bar area.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We decided to get a bottle of Vueve Clicquot yelllow label and ordered the 8oz Flilet with an add on scallops, he got the 8oz as well. And we both opted for the Parmesian horseradish crust ... Ahhhhhhhmazing! Dizzert (yes I spelled that correctly) was the banana's fosters, which burned for an insanely long time, but it was delicious. Overall plus plus. My only feedback would be that our server, as nice as she was, was a little too chatty for my liking. Maybe it was because we were in the bar area, but if I wanted to chat, I would have sat at the bar. I wanted to enjoy my date and it be about me (It was my birthday afterall!), and she kept interrupting to chat. But the experience was great, i will be back!! Protip: Park in the lot next door for free to avoid the valet cost.

LOVELY BIRTHDAY MEAL EXCEPT FOR OUR STEAK I've been to 3 different Eddie V's and I'm always impressed with their service and food. This location was great except on our night the kitchen didn't know how to cook steak lol. It came out well done (we wanted medium rare) and then they brought out a raw steak. Didn't want to wait again and let it ruin our dinner so we didn't say anything. Beef tartare was fresh and they prepare it tableside for you. Delicious oysters with a sweet vinaigrette was my favorite! Their lobster bisque was also rich and creamy. I ordered the scallops and they were perfectly seared! I don't think I'll return back to this location after what happened with the steak but I recommend you give them a try. Eddie V's is better than Mastros in my opinion. It was my birthday so they had rose petals on the table and gave me a free dessert which was nice touch!

Is a modified menu required for a party of 8-10?

No it is not, I assume they goyld do one if you wanted otherwise you can all order off the regular delicious menu..enjoy

Do they have any private rooms for less than 20 people?

There's a private dining area just outside the bar area. Looks really nice. Every time I go, I'm envious of the parties I see using the space.

Do they live music every night? Planning to go on a Tuesday.

According to what I was told while visiting, yes, every night beginning at 7pm and the group/band playing varies

Do they check for vaccine cards here?

    No they dont

We came here to celebrate my cousin's graduation after she became a doctor, and it was the perfect place for a special occasion. The food was delicious, rich, flavorful, and satisfying. The drinks were great too! I enjoyed the wine and champagne, which were smooth and not overly strong. A special shoutout to our server, Daniel, who did an amazing job taking care of our group. He was attentive, friendly, and always checking in to make sure we had everything we needed. One thing to keep in mind: it can get pretty windy up there since you're close to the airport, so bring a light jacket or dress accordingly. Thankfully, they have fire pits and heat lamps that help keep everyone warm and comfortable. Overall, we had a wonderful time and I'd definitely come back to try more items on the menu. The highlight of the night was definitely the drinks. We asked for something fun, and the manager surprised us with a couple of off-menu cocktails that were creative, delicious, and honestly the coolest drinks we've had in a while. They were pricey, but the presentation and quality made them worth trying. Unfortunately, the service took a turn after that. The manager disappeared for what I assume was a break, leaving a single server to cover the entire rooftop. We completely understand that things happen and it wasn't the server's fault, but we ended up waiting around an hour to an hour and a half without anyone checking on us. We wanted to order another round of drinks, but the server was constantly rushing past trying to keep up with everyone else. Eventually, we gave up, walked to the bar ourselves, paid our tab, and left. Flora has a great atmosphere, beautiful views, and some genuinely impressive cocktails. If they can improve the staffing during busy hours, this place would easily earn a higher rating from me.
