They have a pool table if you feel lucky and want to be competitive. Was thinking heavily on whether to leave this review or now, but it may be helpful to folks in the future. As a previous customer, I never had issues with Corner Bar. Unfortunately, after visiting here recently with a friend, we discovered we had been roofied at The Corner Bar. We're not inexperienced drinkers and visited The Corner Bar expecting chill vibes and great music. We ordered a mexican candy shot each and followed with a single draft beer. By the end of the night, we hadn't finished our only beer we ordered and decided it was a good time to head home. Neither of us remember anything past leaving The Corner Bar, and we both suffered from memory loss the next day after passing out immediately upon returning home. 1 beer and 1 shot should NOT be enough to make you black out. Thank god nothing happened to either of us, but it could have ended so much worse. If you're a woman and you come here expecting a good time PLEASE be careful. You never know what type of people are lurking here with ill intentions or the intent to harm you. I hope this is something that the bar is able to address to their customer base and supports customers who come forward about feeling unsafe in their bar. read more

I came to this bar last Friday night to celebrate a friend's birthday. Upon arrival it was packed! We could barely get in. This could be a good/bad thing depending on how you feel. It took at least 10 minutes to get the bartenders to even make eye contact to take our drink order. A nice gentleman at the bar made a point to get one's attention. The bartender nodded at him but he proceeded to not even care. He along with another bartender could've easily taken our order, but instead they'd rather joke around. When they finally took my order, I will admit the drinks were STRONG. Probably to compensate for the delay. Not bad. I couldn't complain about my Mai Tai's. The DJ was pretty good that night. They mixed some old hits mixed with current ones. The crowd was cool, everyone seemed pretty friendly. No fighting & no creepy behavior. The night turned left when my friend had her phone stolen. Some lowlife straight took her phone from the table we reserved. I'd beware of your property when you come here. People may walk up and mingle with you, while another person comes up on your stuff. Real cool chill spot. Youngest crowd would be like early 30's but it's mostly older heads. This spot has a juke box with good music choices and pool tables. Very small intimate bar, the staff is very friendly! Even the ones that don't speak English. The music machine was super high tech, took a minute to figure out. THE DRINKS ARE BOMB. Strong & BOMB! Shooed his hands. ..and walked away. I don't smoke, neither does the person that came with me. Then a man sitting next to us, pulls out his vape pen and puffs out smoke. So we call over the owner, and tell him who is actually smoking. And what does he do? POLITELY asks the man to not smoke inside and to make sure he does that stuff outside. The owner gave a half assed apology, while still being rude, and walked away. Definitely soured our entire experience. I don't live in the area anyway but I highly doubt I'd be back. I've been coming to this place forever and I've seen it evolve over the years. I love the vibe Albert has created. The pool table is in pristine condition, and there's never a shortage of shooters. The list can get pretty long so come early. My favorite bartenders are Luis, Oscar, Cristian, and Albert. Drinks are good, company is even better. Friday and Saturday nights have a dj and it gets pretty crowded. Bathrooms are super clean! Plus you can watch any sporting event. There are TVs throughout and a great sound system. The crowd was super hyped up once the song Tragos de Amargo Licor came on. Tip: Drink specials are posted on both ends of the bar so check those out.
