DO NOT EVER ORDER FOR DELIVERY. We have been loyal customers of this resultant for over 5 years. We ordered for delivery and they forgot half of our order. When we drove all the way down there to retrieve the other half they accused us of taking it because the bag is open. Not sure how we would know our items were missing if we didn't open the bag. I really love this place. The owner updated the interior decor and it is very lovely and inciting. I've eaten Pho at many restaurants but if I want the "real thing" this is my local go-to place. They feature traditional Vietnamese cooking and flavors, as spicy as one desires. The staff are incredibly friendly, always smiling and treating customers like honored guests. It may be small, but this restaurant has a huge heart. They obviously take pride in their cooking and hospitality and it shows. I highly recommend this restaurant and I don't make these recommendations lightly. Delicious! I think I found my favorite pho spot in South Bay. It's not a large sit down restaurant, you order at the kiosk, and pay at the kiosk, but the pho is DELICIOUS! I always get the combination to see the beef texture and quality first, and it did not disappoint. I was a tad bit disappointed the beef on top wasn't rare when it first came out, but I don't care about it that much. I don't try anything else so I don't have an opinion on the other items. I would say the portion is a tad bit small for the price but I guess it's closer to the ocean so there is that. Service, nice. I'm a "eat fast and get out" kind of customer so I don't need much in terms of service unless it's Michelin star. Again kiosk style but he did come and check up on me, which is nice. i wouldn't say come here for a 5 star date but if you want good no BS pho, it's definitely worth a try. Older lady cleans the table, felt a tad sad cause it reminded me of my mom, but I'm sure the male waiter (maybe son, I'm guessing who knows) probably does the heavy lifting in the back. Conclusion. Our server was a darling polite and attentive young man. Greeted us (important to me) and had us sit wherever we wanted. It's a small cozy area and has outdoor seating, kind of hole in the wall but charming and cute. The food here has always been great, especially the spring rolls. Unfortunately, it seems like they may have changed ownership or management and the dine-in experience is not quite the same. I came in about 7:30 on a Friday. Their website and Yelp page says they're open until 11PM on Friday, but this is not the case. The waitress rushed me to order and pay immediately at the counter. After I sat down, she was turning people away or making them order to go. They should definitely update their posted hours. The food came out extremely fast and was good, but the noodle portion seemed much smaller than it used to be and the rare steak seemed different. The table next to me commented on this as well. They thought maybe it was brisket instead of rare steak but neither of us wanted to say anything as we felt pretty rushed to finish up before 8 as the waitress kept saying they close at 8. Also, I noticed the windows/glass doors were very dirty and smudged, a small detail, but it just seemed like the attention to detail wasn't there like it used to be. Ribeye pho was really good but the inside is really small and a little hot so we sat at the one table outside right next to the parking lot where there's a decent amount of parking. The good: I tried their bánh mì thịt nguội and brisket pho. I liked that the bánh mì had pate in it and the meat slices were nice. My toddler enjoyed the pho. The meat was tender. The interior is small with around 5-6 tables for 2 people each. There's one table outside. The shop was busy around lunch and it seemed like it had a lot of loyal customers. The waiter was friendly and made small talk with each customer. The bad: The veggies they gave came in a small ziplock bag. The basil was wilted. There were few bean sprouts. There was no soap to wash your hands in the bathroom. It wasn't that the dispenser was empty but there was no dispenser or evidence of soap at all. This means the employees didn't have it either perhaps because this is their only bathroom I'm assuming. There was hand San fixed pump outside of the bathroom. There's no changing table for babies (not uncommon for pho shops). The bánh mì would've been nice toasted. The bánh mì was very salty. The brisket meat looked different from what most brisket meat looks like at pho shops. It didn't have those pearlescent striations. I'm unsure if it was a different cut of meat. Great place, tiny dining room, good service and good food! This little place is in a strip mall of sorts with other little eateries so parking might be tricky on a weekday at lunch hour. We stopped in on a Saturday late afternoon and it was nearly empty but that quickly changed as the dinner hour approached. The dining room is small; not a good choice for a party larger than 8 and you'd probably be taking up most of the dining room. One table for outside. The service was great; very attentive guys who readily answered questions about their offerings. The pho was legit...good stock, a generous portion and reasonably priced. This is our second visit to PhoPCH. Have to admit, their pho tai was disappointing this time around. The volume was what other places would consider small and their steak was not very good. The beef was precooked and was very tough and thick with lots of fat on it. Usually it's thinly sliced and raw for the broth to cook it. Also they only had three slices of beef. For $14.75 it wasn't worth it. Their service is still good with him always greeting you and asking if there's anything else you'd need. Be aware that the restaurant is very small with limited seats. Not sure if I'd go back again next time. Plenty of pho places to try with better meat. read more

I am very disappointed about our pho order with huge prices (I know inflation) but $15 for a regular pho, the rice noodle portion is sooo small and they don't even give utensils. A side of onions was $1.50 and it was less than half of a full saucer container. I understand this is a to-go order but if you're giving less than a normal noodle sized portion, adjust your prices accordingly. After reading other reviews, there is a noticeable theme. I would have preferred the bread to be smaller so the ratio of ingredients was better, but the taste and texture were great. The chicken pho was very good. We've been coming here for Vietnamese food for years now. The flavors are still good but the portion sizes have dropped drastically with each visit while the prices have increased (the price increase should reflect maintaining portions). A few weeks ago I didn't think they could lessen the portions any more than they continuously had and then tonight when I ordered the pho with two choices of meat they gave me only one and a half meatballs, two slices of ribeye and probably half the noodles I got just a few weeks ago. The rice w/meat dishes have also gotten much smaller. This was so disappointing bc I really do like this restaurant. I'm fine with less noodles but I need more protein than that of a toddler's serving size. We will likely drive the further distance for better value or I'll go back to making my own, which I've gotten pretty good at. Pho is probably one of my favorite things to eat. I went to this location because it was close to my brother's place. Once you get inside, it is actually a very small place. Luckily it was not busy and we were able to sit down immediately. I got the special combination pho and spring rolls. I found the bowl really small and had to order a side of noodles to try to fill me up. Even with the side of noodles and spring rolls, I left that place hungry. The employees were nice and quick to bring us what we needed. The taste was not bad but not the greatest I had. Rainy day = getting a good bowl of pho! Surprise rain day in LA led to me looking for a good pho spot in the area. I discovered Pho PCH via Yelp and surprised also to see that this place is in the same plaza as Bollywood Zaika, Kirari West etc. First impression of restaurant was that is was very clean. That gave me a really good first impression. Clean is always a plus! Their menu also had all the favorites from bahn mi to spring rolls to pho and vermicelli noodle bowls. My mom and I chose to get a fried egg roll starter ($5) with the sweet and sour sauce. I got a pho with meatballs while my mom chose to get the pho with beef brisket (both $14.75). The pork egg rolls came out first but followed pretty quickly by the pho bowls. The pork egg rolls were delicious. They were nice and crispy and I could tell they were freshly made. They are a bit pricey at $5; so basically $2.50 but fairly good nevertheless. As for the pho bowls; both came in really large bowl soups. They definitely give a lot of broth. As for the meat inside however; there was not much meat. My meatballs came in half slices; 9 half slices total. Overall good broth flavor and I did have leftovers but again mostly broth and noodles as there really wasn't a lot of meat. I did enjoy the pho though and was great for the rainy day. Last but not least we got a free caramel flan for checking in. The caramel flan is small but quite good. It had syrup on the bottom with a soft and silky flan at the top. It was a nice little free treat for checking in. Pros for this place are how clean it is, the big bowl of broth and the free flan for checking in. The cons would be the little meat portions in the broth. Overall though not bad pho place on PCH :). read more

Broth here is good but that's about it. This place is extremely stingy with their portions and sides. For being so overpriced, you would think you would get some kind of value out of your dollar. Their meat is dry and has a spongy texture. The place is small and has no control over their ventilation. Service ability of their works are nonexistent. Workers show zero empathy and often act dumb when raising any concerns. The back of the house also has a very unusual and suspicious practice of collecting dirty plates and eaten pho broth in a bucket. Stay away from this restaurant, it is Not worth it! Edit (4/12/23): as the business owner replies to make an attempt to save face, they conveniently leave out the sarcasm and snarky remarks their staff made during their lack luster response to explaining how they have the audacity to charge for add-ons served in portions of sauce packages. They claim that paying $1.00 for these tiny portions isn't a big deal. And no, do not lie to the public Leslie. We did not finish our meal. You are likely remembering things incorrectly with the delusion you have running this stingy and rude business model of yours. Just do better and stop making excuses, it's embarrassing. read more
