Loved this place. I place an order over the phone for pick up. The person that took my order was easy to understand and pleasant to talk too. My order was ready within 10min like they told me. This was around 11:30am on a Friday. Upon arrival is a small restaurant but very pleasant. The front person that help me was very nice. My order was ready to go. I order #1 Pho Hana special, #2 seafood combo and #5 Rare stake, brisket and flank. We were very happy with our order. I believe it was a regular size bowl. The food portion was decent there was a good portion of broth and meat and very satisfying. A little in the pricy but food was good i would definitely come back. The place has changed hands a while ago, yet, it still has the same good tastes, and fast and responsive service. I had the #1 Pho Special, generous amount of food with a variety of different kinds of meat. My wife opted for the dry vermicelli with shrimp and it was good. Our daughter had the BBQ Beef rice plate and she finished everything. I had the pho here and hadn't been here in over 25 years . I am shocked that they would serve this skimpy serving and it was the large .noodles were awful, broth semi ok , brisket was subpar , not chewable unidentified meat squares .the basil was pathetic only three leaves . I couldn't chew meat it was so tough . The waiter was ok but never came to ask if everything ok . Not returning for another 25 years BTW the same manager was there 25 yrs and she was not into doing her job . The thing I thought really strange... two teenagers came in with giant platters of egg-rolls not covered either no plastic rap and one fell on the floor and the kid was picking it off floor ready to put back On tray and cook said "throw in trash ". Walked into the place as we were in the neighborhood and were starving. I am not a massive pho fan, so i ended up going with fried rice and BBQ meat (which was pretty tasty in the standard can you go wrong with asian food kind of way). Hubs ordered the Beef Pho which he greatly enjoyed and is now upset that I have kept him away from this dish for years. (Coz I just don't like pho, we rarely ever get Vietnamese food!). Great little pho place with classic flavors. This is on my wife and my rotation of go to restaurants when we don't want to think and just want consistent, good food. I usually get the large pho with brisket and steak and never leave disappointed. I wish they put just a bit more noodles in the soup, I always leave satisfied but not completely stuffed. Underrated restaurant that deserves the recognition it deserves! We came here for lunch on a soup kind of day and it did not disappoint. We both ordered their pho each and a Thai tea to share. The pho broth was HOT (just how I like it) and perfectly made. It was very clean and flavorful; it's not overly rich with different flavor profiles like other places. It's also not fattening like other places either. If I wanted a good bowl of pho, this is definitely my go to place from now on. The Thai tea was also on point- you can actually taste the tea! I've been here a few times, but I keep coming because the Pho noodles selection places are quite limited in the South Bay. The Pho here, along with its Vietnamese Coffees and Thai Teas, is mediocre. A bowl of large pho is around $12, and their 12 ounce plastic cups of coffee and/or is $4.25, which is pretty average. Tbh, the pho here needs to improve quality wisely. My noodles are all clunked together, even in their hot broth (more like lukewarm). The meat is fine, but the broth had a tap water after taste? And it was not steaming hot. I had to squeeze more than usual lime juice into my broth, along with squirting more than enough hot sauce to eliminate the aftertaste. I'm not being mean, but rather trying to help the restaurant improve their food quality. Their coffee and tea, I'll just say whatevers. The menu states their tea is slowly brewed. Had a craving for pho and left craving to not come back. I ordered a beef combo pho. The noodles were stuck together in a clump. The flavor of the soup wasn't that great; it wasn't very flavorful/aromatic and almost tasted...like premade powder soup broth or something. My mom didn't like the flavor of her house special pho either and had to add copious sriracha and hoisin sauce. Not a fan that they don't have any just plain salad or vegetable sides for some greens. We were able to ask for extra bean sprouts though which was nice. The place overall just doesn't...feel very clean. For example, 2 of the 3 disposable cups they gave had green plastic, almost artificial grass-looking flecks. The soup spoons had flecks on them too. Service was curt.
