Interior has been redone and is beautiful and clean.

This place was renovated recently and looks beautiful and so welcoming inside. The food was very good where we even asked for seconds. The staff is very attentive and personable. We will be coming back!

Everything inside was nice and upgraded. Very clean. Food was bomb & they were very fast as well didn't take much to get our food. For drinks we had a coke, horchata and michelada overall we paid around $80/90 can't remember.

    Aguachiles naturales!!

I ate a burrito mojado. I have not yet had something better than Panchi's restaurant! The wet burrito is exceptional and the aguachiles. El burritos mojado esta chingon!! Y no se diga los aguachiles! Tienen que probarlo!

I need to start off by saying THIS IS PLACE IS UNDER NEW OWNERSHIP as of 2024, disregard old yelp reviews!!! New place is called Panchi's Restaurant!!! The change this place much needed, if you're in paramount or surrounding areas I encourage you to come try their delicious food! If you're familiar with Sinaloa style recipes then you will absolutely love it! It feels like you're eating at home. All food is always fresh, and same great taste. The menu has so many variations you can't go wrong with any! Awesome service by staff & great family style ambiance. Restaurant is currently getting a revamp but they are still open for business.

Amazing food, amazing service and it is well kept and very clean. They took my order right away and the food was on my table quickly, I devoured the food because of the amazing taste, the servers were constantly checking up on me and making sure I was okay and offering help

Hot Salsa is located on Garfield and Rosecrans in the City of Paramount. Next door to Arco and near many businesses. Clean and beautiful inside and out, excellent service, delicious tacos, reasonable prices. Parking can be a pain at certain times. Cost efficient place to take a date or to come eat after work. A diamond in the rough you should not overlook.

After enduring weeks of record breaking heat in Long Beach, this was the perfect place to land as the Summer Breeze... Makes Me Feel Fineeee again. A very well but gently lit space that still feels cozy and spacious. The outside gives no indication of how well the inside has been designed. Great for lunch or dinner dates. Noise level was low and there's no feeling of a chaotic restaurant environment. Food/Service 1-5: 4.8 I order the shrimp and lobsters fettuccine, bone marrow as an appetizer. My company ordered the lamb burger. All dishes we beautifully plated; true works of art. Neither of us had any complaints about presentation and creativity. As far as taste and as excited as we were to dig in to our food, the ONLY setback was the lack of seasoning mainly salt. I'm aware that a Chef does their best to meet the expectations of their guest. I'm also aware that meeting everyone's expectations is impossible. To confirm my advice of needing some salt in the food I patrons the restaurant twice, two days in a row. The food needs more salt and I stand solid on that opinion. The service was great and I thanked Mel for taking such great care of us. Mel is a rockstar! Diversity score 1-5: 4 The restaurant definitely appeals to diverse crowds. It reminded of the days I frequented Marcus Samuelsson's Red Rooster in Harlem, NY. Go again score 1-5: 5, Absolutely. I do hope I don't have to keep bothering the server for salt and pepper.

Just a couple of weeks ago, my friends and I were considering our options for where to have brunch to celebrate one of our friend's retirement. Toast was one of the names I dropped in the metaphorical hat, and it won the vote of a few. My friends were surprised that I had named a spot I hadn't yet tried since I'm usually the "foodie" of the group. However, another girl in the group who had been here before vouched for it. I'm glad I finally got to try this place this past weekend, and I cannot wait to return! There were so many things on their menu that I wanted to try. A couple of the ladies ordered green chilaquiles, the friend we were celebrating ordered the Spanish Omelet, another woman I'd met that day had the bacon and eggs, another one ordered the Biscuits and grave with a side of bacon that looked perfectly crispy. I wish I had taken pictures of the plates as it all looked so lovely! I didn't even take a picture of my own food haha. I had my eyes on an omelet, one of the Benedicts or the Chicken n Waffle. In the end, the chicken and waffle won. It comes served with a little container of maple syrup with bacon pieces. The chicken was perfectly crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. The waffle was delicious, though I did request for some extra syrup on the side. To drink, a few ladies ordered mimosas, one ordered an iced caramel coffee, and I ordered the Carajillo. I fell in love with this drink last summer in Mexico and do not often see it on the menu. I love the subtle citrus notes the Licor 43 adds to this espresso drink. It is very similar to an espresso martini, and theirs comes topped with a toasted marshmallow. I honestly wanted to try almost every item in their Tipsy Barista section of their drinks. I'll just have to come back that many more times :) Plenty of parking in the mall lot. It does get pretty packed during peak hours. Fortunately I had called ahead to put our group of 6 down. We went in on Saturday around 11:30. It slowed down a bit while we were eating, but started to get busy again after 1. Otherwise, we might have been forced to honor their 90-minute rule. All in all, a great experience from everyone in our group. No complaints on the wait, service or food. That certainly deserves a toast. Great job, Toast!

But if you have the budget and want to treat yourself to a nice brunch, I'd 100% recommend giving this place a try. Great food, great drinks, excellent service, and an awesome brunch atmosphere. Definitely made my birthday feel special!

Anyhow, my family and I were driving back home after participating in a hiring event for my son (first paid job -- so proud of him!) We were all hungry and since we were in a part of town we had not been to before did a quick search. Decided on "The Neighborhood Cafe" and headed over! We were greeted by " The Los Angeles Gentlmen" motorcycle club -- couldn't have been nicer! Then we walked in and were greeted warmly by the owner and his daughter, Cheryl. We were immediately seated and made comfortable. Cheryl took our orders and could not have been nicer/friendlier. Very spacious and cute atmosphere. Ordered and after a little bit of a wait (Due to food made to order BTW!) I had the absolute best chicken and waffles ever. IT WAS A 1/2 CHICKEN seasoned to perfection -- flavorful and juicy! The waffle was clearly homemade and also flavorful. The hot honey was a sweet/spicy welcome addition. My family also REALLY enjoyed their dishes!! We live on the westside so we will not be able to get over as often as we would like :( BUT I work near downtown so I can see me grabbing take home every once and awhile! I was just telling my wife I want to go back and get that again!! :) :) :) For those of you visiting the area looking for delicious food and a wonderful atmosphere, I highly recommend "The Neighborhood Cafe". I'd think, "There's a spot in my own neighborhood I can eat at without driving to Downey or Downtown LA." But for some reason it was never my first thought. I think it's because when I'm going out to eat, I usually want to escape my own area. Today I finally gave it a try, and I was sincerely impressed. I walked in and was greeted right away. I asked a few questions about the menu and requested a substitute, and I didn't get any weird looks or pushback, which honestly happens more often than you'd think in 2026. The walls had beautiful artwork, and my server, Kevin, was fantastic. He checked in every few minutes to make sure I had everything I needed, and it felt genuine, not like he was just going through the motions for a tip or a paycheck. You can tell the difference. I ordered the horchata French toast with fresh fruit and a lavender latte, and the presentation was next level, the kind of plating you'd expect in Beverly Hills, Century City, or parts of Polanco, Mexico. It was beautiful, the food was excellent, and I was taken care of every step of the way. I'm writing this review because this place deserves to be seen and deserves to keep growing. I'm not compensated in any way, shape, or form, this comes straight from the heart. If you've been sleeping on this place, give it a try. It's not in the flashiest part of LA, and I'm okay with that since I live in the area, but once you step inside, you're transported somewhere else entirely. Don't sleep on this place. Give them a shot and you'll find yourself coming back sooner than you expected.
